Beast has posed:
It's a nice day for a coffee break. Outside it may be overcast, but in here things are nice and relaxing. There are even couches where one can have a seat. Hank is here, currently sitting at the counter as he decides what he'd like to eat and drink. The menu isn't huge, but that doesn't mean he's not going to take his time perusing it. His fingers end up steepled in front of him as he thinks about what to get, looking quite thoughtful.

"I believe I'll have a large hot mocha latte and a cheese danish, please," McCoy tells the barista with a smile.

Sandra Billings has posed:
Finally making her way in, Sandy had to jump a few bus stops, but, she's here! As she heads over to the large, blue and furry man, she reaches out to wrap her arms around him from behind. She gives him a hug, then peeks over his shoulder to the barista. "Two please! Whatever he is having." She gives his cheek a kiss, then slips in next to him. "Good morning, Blueberry. How are you doing today?"

She is currently on paid administrative leave while the hospital continues to research that unpleasant day in regards to the gunmen and her part in it. So far, it seems that the story she came up with is sticking. No one knows she's a mutant yet, but the hospital has policies in place to deal with work related trauma.

Beast has posed:
"Good morning, my dear!" Hank greets his girlfriend with a big grin. "My day is great now that I can spend some time with you." He leans into her gently and lets out a sigh, seeming content. "I've been hard at work lately. Working on writing an article about treating mutants with large physiological differences between themselves and humans. Might work well for aliens and others who have been changed physically, as well."

Sandra Billings has posed:
"Always so busy doing great and amazing things." Sandy giggles as she leans into his shoulder. "I love bragging about you to my friends. I can tell that their eyes gloss over at times when I get into the weeds of your work, but I'm so proud of everything you accomplish. It's so interesting."

Once their food and drinks arrive, she tucks in eagerly to the coffee. "So, I have the whole day free, so every minute of my day is yours if you wish it. What are your plans?" She asks as she gives him a loving smile.

Beast has posed:
"I had planned to continue my work on the article, but if your day is free then I now intend to spend it with you," Hank says to Sandy with a chuckle. "Perhaps after breakfast we could go for a walk in the park, perhaps check out the zoo later. Maybe we catch a movie. The world is our oyster."

Sandra Billings has posed:
"We can do all of those if you want. I love the zoo and I haven't seen a movie in awhile." Sandy says with a big, happy smile on her face. She practically glows with happy affection at the idea of getting a full day with the man of her dreams. "Hopefully I'll be back to work this week. The repairs are already done on the hospital. Just a few more rounds of paperwork." She presses her lips together into a thin line. "It was a close call though and I'm worried there will still be questions, or doubts about the story we came up with together."

Beast has posed:
"I think things will work out, in the end," Hank says to Sandy with as comforting a smile as he's able to manage. "If you need it I can be a character witness and such, though hopefully it won't come to that."
