Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Hulk, Captain Marvel (Danvers), Captain America

Hulk has posed:
The distress signal came from somewhere in the midwest about five minutes ago. No details, but considering the location in Iowa and the fact it's on the Avengers emergency band, it can only mean one thing; Banner's enemies have caught up with him while he was drifting and continuing his research into dealing with the Hulk.

Anyone coming near the origin will see what looks like an abandoned farm, with flying drones and some sort of yellow uniformed soldiers and mechanized humanoids firing lasers and firearms into a fairly large barn.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol Danvers was at the mansion for the afternoon, having come own from Canada for a week. Hearing the alarm it took only a moment to figure out the location and what the implications were. In a heartbeat she was airborne as Captain Marvel, climbing both in speed and altitude as she responded to the distress signal. It won't be instantaneous but it shouldn't take more than ten minutes to get there. "Bruce. It's Carol. I'm on my way. Hang on."

Hulk has posed:
There's no response over the comms as Carol approaches the situation. Still, as she does approach, one of the mechanoids is suddenly launched 'through' the roof of the barn at high speed, as if thrown.

Then, the unmistakable sound of a Hulk roar can be heard from inside the barn.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"Oh boy. They woke up the big guy."

Diving down at full speed, Captain Marvel swoops in to try and grab another of the mechanoids and take it up for a nice bit of conversational pummelling and deactivation. Rising back up to several thousand feet, she holds the mechanoid in one hand and cocks back her other fist as it begins to glow. "You guys picked the wrong person to piss off. You should really learn this time."

The glowing fist smashes through the mechanical shell before erupting inside with pent up energy. Dropping the hulk to smash into the ground, Captain Marvel turns and dives back down to find the next target.

Hulk has posed:
Just as Carol is diving down, there's a sudden *BOOM* and a shockwave that rips the barn apart that sends the Hulk flying. Literally. He's in out of control end over end bulleting, roaring as he goes.

Dust, debris and all kinds of fun materials suddenly cover the area, plunging the area into zero visibility, cutting off visibility of the Hulk on top of that.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Captain Marvel is stunned by the explosion and comes to a hover, mouth agape. Well this just got more interesting. She looks back down to see if anyone is giving chase to the flying Hulk.

Captain America has posed:
Steve Rogers drops from above, leaving the Quinjet in hover as he leaps down. He thought about a parachute but figured it would only slow him down. He uses his shield to deflect along the edge of a building and sliding down to land on a flagpole, springing off and somersaulting to land on the roof of a car, rolling until he slides along the ground in a crouch. The explosion happens right after, backlighting him a bit as he raises his shield to fend off some of the flying debris.

He's outmatched, outgunned and out of his league. Nothing he can do is likely to even make the Hulk flinch, much less do any harm.

And yet he breaks into a full out spring and runs headlong for the big green monstrosity without a second's hesitation.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Captain Marvel sees the other Captain arrive, "Cap. Hulk just went flying.. " she gestures vaguely, "... that way. The debris made visuals impossible. But I'm sure we can follow the path of destruction to the epicenter.." she quips dryly. She drops from her hover to offer down a hand. "Care for a lift soldier?"

Hulk has posed:
There is, indeed, someone -or rather something- chasing after the Hulk. Green, spikey, and oddly shaped being... but the Avengers would know him well; Abomination.

He's a creature that only the Hulk, and maybe Thor or Superman can match... and he's already leaping into the air with a scream "BANNER!" As Abomination gives chase.

Meanwhile, Captain American lands solidly in the middle of the ruin of a bio lab that was hidden in a barn... surrounded by yellow uniformed soldiers. "Take him down!" One cries, as lasers and fists start focusing from the Hulk over to Cap. A few of the goons that were outside start to head in the direction Hulk went in... until the dust starts to clear and Carol comes into visual.

They fire at her with those laser guns without hesitation.

Captain America has posed:
Steve Rogers grit his teeth, "Bad mistake, boys. I'm not in the mood," he says to the soldiers. His shield deflects the lasers, meaning some of them take some friendly fire even as he leaps among them. Fists fly, sending a couple of soldiers careening with cracked jaws, while he headbutts another and throws in a judo throw for good measure.

The arrival of Captain Marvel draws a grin as he grabs ahold of her hand, "Always happy to fly Air Carol," he says.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Captain Marvel frowns. "Well this went from not good, to really bad." She dodges some of the laser fire and returns a number of photon blasts from her hands - held as finger-guns. pew pew. because, reasons. when those lingering around the now ruined barn are dispatched, she clasps Steve's hand and with an effortless motion, lifts him off the ground and begins to fly off after the two big green guys. "We're going to need more fire power Steve. I can annoy him but not sure I'm going to do a lot of impactful damage to slow Abomination down.."

Hulk has posed:
As if on cue for Carol's words of 'firepower', there's a *MASSIVE* impact that sends out a minor earthquake underneath Steve as he gets pulled into the air with her. Those in the immediate vicinity are out for the count with the combined efforts of the two... but there are still outliers that are getting into cover.

Meanwhile, the sounds of incredibly hard impacts start to be heard -and felt, minorly- as the Hulk and Abomination start to beat the ever loving snot out of each other in the distance, each landed hit sending shockwaves from the sheer amount of physical might the two gamma powered rivals inflict on each other.

The worst part? The Hulk only just transformed, and Abomination is clearly noted in Avengers files to be far stronger than the Hulk's initial strength ceiling; Hulk's rage needs time to build to be on equal terms with Abomination.

Even from here, Steve and Carol can tell Hulk is barely keeping up with the obsessive supervillain.

Captain America has posed:
Steve Rogers frowns as he finds himself carried up, his shield on his other arm as he surveys the situation. He shakes his head, "If we can help Hulk take down the Abomination, he might calm enough to revert to our old pal the doctor. Not to mention the fact that he might see us as allies in this fight, rather than enemies. Let's focus our attention on the uglier green monster. At the very least, if we can distract him, it might give our monster the necessary advantage."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol Danvers nods, "I agree. He'll probably listen more to you than to me, but if we help keep Abomination distracted, even if he doesn't see us as friends - well enemy of my enemy at least." Her tone is somewhat grim, trying to calculate the best course of action. "I can hit him high if you want to drop in and go low? Maybe use some of his lackeys as ammunition against him..."

Hulk has posed:
As Carol and Steve leave the area where the ruined barn is, the remaining goons take pot shots, with the flying drones around them keeping up with the duo, easy targets for photon blasts.

As Carol and Steve approach the duel, Abomination visibly notices them, and he smirks. "Your 'friends' are here, Banner. Let's give them a-" Abomination takes up a briefly stunned Hulk (Hulk actually looks disoriented from the pummeling he's taken so far), hoists him above on both hands... and *TOSSES* Hulk bodily at the approaching duo, "-Warm introduction!"

Captain America has posed:
Steve Rogers sees the incoming Hulk, "Watch out," he tells Carol, releasing his grasp to drop low as she had suggested, landing on his shield and rolling into a fighting stance.

"Stand down, Blonsky. This has gone far enough. Whatever your grudge is with the Hulk, you're putting a lot of innocent people in danger. Stop this madness before it gets worse."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Big. Green. Canonball. Incoming.

Carol releases Steve even as he ungrasps her arm. She gives him enough of a swing to propel him clear of the incoming projectile, and to get himself safely to the ground. She cuts right and almost evades the Hulk-ball. Being struck in the left shoulder, Carol huffs as if a big bully shoved his way through her. Which kind of happened. Spun around a bit, she comes to a hover and watches where Hulk lands, taking off after him - maybe. Just maybe he can be reasoned with this time? "Hulk!"

Hulk has posed:
Abomination just... stares at Steve. "Captain America. I'm almost amused you think I care what happens to those morons." Then, he SLAMS his fists into the ground directly at Steve, and the ground begins to quake apart as he continues to slam. "Banner is MINE."

As Hulk lands, a crater forms once more and there's a light cloud of dust that disappears. Hulk just... sits there, stunned enough that he's not getting up for a couple moments. "Hulk hates Big Ears." Hulk slowly tries to stand, but he's obviously having difficulty reorienting. Then, he looks to Carol, his face one of rage. "You here to beat up Hulk too?" He growls out.

Captain America has posed:
Steve Rogers leaps into the air, the vibranium in his shield helping to protect him from the seismic impact, but he's still thrown a bit, the reverbrations pushing him back until he lands, skidding his heels on the ground.

"I thought I might appeal to your humanity, but I suppose you've thrown that aside. But Bruce Banner is a friend of mine, mister, and, if you want to fight him, you're going to have to fight the rest of us, too!" he says, flinging his shield with his trademark precision, ricocheting it off the ground to drive up and attempt to impact against the Abomination's flat face.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol Danvers hovers there about ten meters from the Hulk in his own personal crater. She holds her hands up, palms out, "No, big guy. I'm Captain Marvel. Bruce Banner is a friend. I came to help him. And I'll help you. If you want." She spares a glace toward Steve to make sure he isn't in too far over his own head. "We can help you fight Abomination. Okay?" She looks back. "We're friends."
