Hela has posed:
At the moment the club is not as busy, and as a result the proprietess, Elle of the Black Sleep fame as 'Miracle Elle', happens to be sitting at a rather empty long table. In her hand she's holding a drinking horn of mead that she occasionally sips from. The speakers are blasting some Ensiferum music that she's grown rather keen on.

Twitch has posed:
Cool clubs like Club Mjolnir are intriguing places to visit. Tyler's recently come into some cash, fresh from hustling in a pool hall, and decided to check out the hip joint to see what's going down.

The fact that the establishment isn't particularly busy doesn't dissuade the young man from coming all the way, making his way along as he eyes the decor and the other folks. Anybody who catches him looking will get a friendly nod or a wave. Gotta keep it polite, after all. Eventually he ends up close to Elle to take a seat a few chairs down so he can arm himself with a menu and check out what's available to eat and drink. He does look from the menu to the woman and lifts his chin at her in greeting.

There's certainly something unique about the Nordic / Viking aesthetic that Club Mjolnir provides, and it has been impressive endorsed by Thor as more or less authentic. Occasionally patrons can get pictures with Thor, who visits now and then, that accurate replica of Mjolnir itself hanging atop the bar is also a pretty fun photo op. There's of course the Scandinavian fare, aside from some American dishes for those not brave enough. Some just come to drink mead in tankards or horns.

"I would recommend the cheese and mushroom dip, an excellent Nordic treat." She then turns to take a better look at Tyler, her green eyes somewhat captivating.

Those eyes do capture Tyler for a moment. He stares at them just bit longer than might be considered polite, before he coughs lightly into his hand and looks away for a second. Then he remembers to talk, "That sounds good. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion."

His head twitches to the side, some kind of tick, before he looks back at the menu to see what else might be good. An 'ooo' escapes him as he takes note of something, "Reindeer smorrebrod. That looks good, too. I don't think I've ever had deer before but I've heard it's really tasty."

Hela has posed:
"You're welcome, is this your first time here...?" She asks, before extending her hand, "I am Elle...the owner of the club." She smiles at the musing over the taste of a reindeer, "anything you hunt for yourself tastes all the better. Not that you'll have to do the hunting, of course...what is your name?"

Twitch has posed:
"Yeah, never made it in before," the young guy tells the woman with a smile. "Cool place, though." Then he reaches over to take her hand for a friendly shake, "Nice to meet you, Elle. My name's Tyler." There's another little twitch before he says, "I've never gone hunting. I think I'd like it, though. Never really spent a lot of time outside of the city."

Hela has posed:
"Do you have any interest at all in the culture, or did you just wander in on a curiosity?" Elle tilts her head a bit, studying Tyler for a moment in silence, before finally remarking, "that's a shame...you should connect with your roots. People used to be more self sufficient you know..."

Twitch has posed:
"I always thought vikings were cool, but I don't know much about them," Tyler says. "And this place just seemed awesome so I thought I'd finally visit now that I've got some money on me."

With a shrug he says, "Wish I could. I'd be good at hunting, I bet."

Hela has posed:
"History is a dangerous thing to not know about...you never know where a proper lesson would save you from repeating mistakes from the past," Elle notes to Tyler, as she casually takes another sip. "I can always take you sometime, if you're serious about it..."

Twitch has posed:
"Tell me about it," Tyler agrees with a sigh. "If you don't know what you're walking into you can get into all kinds of serious trouble."

His eyes go wide at the offer, "Really? That would be dope! What kind of hunting do you do?"

Hela has posed:
"It honestly depends on what is necessary at a given moment..." Elle leaves it rather open ended, "I'm not a stranger to the hunt."

Twitch has posed:
"Cool," says the young man. "There is a proper tool for every job, right? I'm a pretty decent martial artist and I know which weapons might be most useful in a variety of circumstances. Like you don't want to use the same gun on a duck that you would on a mouse, I would guess."

Hela has posed:
"Martial Arts? So you are into martial pursuits...what art do you practice and why...?" Elle takes a cursory interest, going as far as to point at the Mjolnir replica on the bar, "would you be able to wield a war hammer?"
