Cast of Characters: Phobos, Nikki Hawkins

Phobos has posed:
The next morning after the young man known to some as Alexander Aaron spent the second to last night in the Magic Box that he planned to spend. It was a fun night all told, pizza, friends, a visit by his significant other who brought him a change of clothes. Not that the clothes were particularly nice. Just jeans, a pair of white Chuck Taylor sneakers, and an over-sized t-shirt that has a small penguin on the front of it brandishing a knife with the caption, 'Psycho Penguin Qu'est-ce Que C'est' underneath it.
Normally his mornings and afternoons are spoken for, it's rare he has this much free time. And right now? He spends it once again out on the front stoop of the small shop, slouched and taking his ease as he holds a mug of coffee in both hands occasionally stealing a sip.
Now and again the Olympian youth checks the cellphone in his hand, half-smiles, maybe taps his thumb on the screen to send a message winging its way into the ether, then he slouches again against the street light and waits until it buzzes again to let him know he has a message.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Today, Nikki is without her robot companion. Squishy is at home charging and taking a day off. The young woman is dressed in tennis shoes, dark blue jeans, a tee-shirt that reads 'Bomb Technician : If you see me running, try to keep up!', and a necklace with a celtic trinity knot pendant. Her hair is still turquoise, wavy, and falls to just about her shoulders. She seems a bit on the absent-minded side of things as she walks, looking around and not seeming to really be paying attention to where she's going.

There's not even a real sign that she recognizes this as a place she's been before, but surely she knows right? Her grey eyes seem to be taking everything in as if it's all new, never seen, and being committed to memory again. Maybe it's because last time it was too dark to do such. Regardless, as she seems to finally pay attention to what's ahead of her, she passes by the stoop and the man who occupies it. That's when there's a brighter recognition in her eyes. "Stoop Man! Nikki found him!"

Phobos has posed:
"Robot girl," Alexander's voice lifts, offering words in those first few moments of shared recognition. Using her new name though he likely did not miss that Nikki was how she referred to himself. Robot Girl sounded nicer in his thoughts. After one last check he pockets his phone and leaves it there, for it's rude to peruse it while there's someone there before him.
"Though no robot today. So maybe just Girl Formerly Known as Robot Girl." The young man blinks those pale hazel eyes slowly as he considers her, expression calm and distanced with a casual curiousity evident there at the least.
"Is this your usual haunt or are you visiting?" He shifts his posture a little so his shoulder rests against the streetlamp, letting him consider her sidelong.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Nikki is always somewhere. She likes to walk around and find things to help her build more robots like Squishy. Only also better. Squishy is at home cause he had to charge..so Nikki's by herself." The girl explains, all smiles and then she shrugs. Rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet while looking around in all directions. She obviously doesn't seem the sort to be able to stand still. Always distracted by a sound.

"Nikki is Nikki. Does Stoop Man have a name, or should she just keep calling him Stoop Man? Stoop Man is fun sounding though..." Then she looks to the shop itself, and to the sun blaring over head and she points. "Is the shop open now? Nikki doesn't wanna go into the shop, but if that other person comes back... The Romania Man...he can come in now, right?" Then she wiggles, and then a sound distracts her before she digs into her pockets and pulls out her own phone, snapping a few pictures, tapping on the screen, then shoves it back into her pocket.

Nikki has no social politeness - but that's likely more because she's unaware rather than blatantly ignoring socical queues. "Nikki lives in New York, she just likes Sunnydale. Sunnydale is pretty."

Phobos has posed:
"I have a few," Alexander answers as he lets his gaze slip away to the other side, head tilting a little as he ponders the street and the occasional passerby. A hand lifts to push through his hair as he grimaces a little but when he turns back he's managed a small smile as he murmurs, "Though I'm partial to Alex." The other names aren't as fun.
"Though, to be fair, there are worse things than being called Stoop Man. People might think it's more a comment about my posture though, than my place of residence." On the stoop.
Then the young woman inquires about entry and he gives a nod, "The store is open, I think Mr. Giles is inside. At least he better be." For some reason Alex's tone shifts a bit as if he held a strong opinion about that likelihood.
"I live in New York too. Brooklyn. Sunnydale is alright. Fun people."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Well Nikki can call him either one. If he prefers Stoop Man, Nikki will keep calling him that. Otherwise, she can call him Alex..." Nikki says this, back to rocking back and forth on her heels. Though she did take a moment to step further towards the stoop where Alex is hanging out at.

"Maybe Nikki will go in one day...but Romania Man said something about magic? Or maybe Stoop Man did... or both. Nikki doesn't think magic is really real." She offers that much before actually moving to sit one step lower than Alex on the steps to the store. "What does Stoop Man do in New York?"

Phobos has posed:
"The store deals with magic," Alexander replies, resting an arm on his raised knee as he considers the young woman nearby. His other arm he uses to uncurl a hand to the side as he gestures casually. "They help people practice it, I think, but also have like weird magical artifacts in there. Like that."
Another glance is spared or the Magic Box, then shrugs. "Though it's wise to be skeptical. But there are a fair amount of weird magical things running around out there. It's like..." For a time his gaze distances as he takes a sip of his coffee, then elaborates on his thought. "Even if you don't believe in it, weird magical critters will believe in you, so that can be messy."
He shrugs a little then takes another sip. "In any case, no harm going in to look around."
