Cast of Characters: Cannonball, Sarah Connor

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is here on a sunday night, not their busiest times, most of the partiers are Saturday nighters, late on a sunday there are a few people still trying to squeeze all their weekened they can, but not as packed. Sam is at the bar, an end seat leaning against the wall watching the club.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Really, Sarah had no clue why she was there. Unless you counted checking out the 'scenery' - after all it was better to be ready for anything, then find out that you weren't prepared. Besides, lately she was curious about these mutants and how else would she get more information than watching them all close?

She sat down at the bar and ordered a beer. Just one, and she had no intention of finishing it.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie actually has a glass of tea in front of him, be it normal or long island, only he and the bartender know. He sees the woman joining those at the bar, he offers a nod in greeting towards her looking her over a moment, as someone he has not met before.

Sarah Connor has posed:
No, she's not graced this place with her presence before. And she wasn't 'dressed to kill'. More, she was dressed for the bar.

Sarah nodded her head. Quiet night." Really she didn't give off the vibes of one who was picking up men (or women for that matter).

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie doesn't give off the looking for a partner vibe either, more someone with some responsibility, and with the bartender coming over to whisper something to him, and the young man, pulling out a tablet to make a note it hints at it "Sundays usually are somewhat."

Sarah Connor has posed:
"Ah." Sarah nods, and takes a guess, "You're the owner?" *Now* she takes a real look at him.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Manager, but close enough yea, friend of mine owns the place, I run it for him." He offers in explanation. "I'm Sam Guthrie." He offers his hand.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Sarah doesn't take his hand.

"Sarah. I must say other than the getups, it looks like any club I can remember." Just a hint of her age? "I guess Sunday nights aren't really the best day to watch."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie does not let the hand hang there for long, he shrugs a bit and says "Well the fact we are in Bushwich, and people know they can let themselves be themselves it helps. I like to think there is that freedom here, as we watch after the folks, plus it is all ages, so we try to keep the bad type out.

Sarah Connor has posed:
"I noticed that." And Sarah nods with her chin at the bouncers. "They seem to be aware of the club. Better than most bars. Mind you a bar is smaller." Give or take a few hundred feet.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Trained by one of the best in the business, a friend of mine, who does security for shows and celebs/ We had some trouble with some anti mutant folks in the past so decided to get the best help we could.

Sarah Connor has posed:
"Really?" In fact, as she says that Sarah was calculating each bouncer and the approximate portion of club under him. It only makes sense. "Do you still have problems with anti-mutant protesters? "

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Was not so much protesters as a hate group, and not as much at least not of late. It happens now and again, but with the heightened security and right now the area is in a bit of an upswing not as often."
