Tinyplot: Unstoppable

Shredder has posed:
When Skye wakes up, it isn't that bad of a condition. The room is clean, the mat provided isn't fancy, but it could be far worse. Like a more traditional Japanese mattress. There's water and there's food, all be it a cliff bar that's sitting next to the door. Nothing fancy, but something that can provide needed protein. Very polite, really.

But there's something else. Skye's powers...don't exist. Any ability to provide vibrations to even recklessly free herself are gone. Making her as helpless against the metal locked door as anyone else might be.

Quake has posed:
Skye woke very slowly at first. Everything was so distant. Everything was here. except for her bracers. Nothing new there. And all her paraphernalia from Shield. Mind you they couldn't take away most of her powers. Namely her computer skills, and her abilities as an Inhuman.

She smiled.

Until she tried using them.

"Fuuuuuuck."

Shredder has posed:
It's quiet mostly in the room, not much happens at first. The walls are concrete, making them difficult to punch through, the floor is a slab as well. The light is an LED bulb attached to a socket, the metal mounted sheath to the wiring bolted into the ceiling, and in one corner, there's a camera watching.

It's...a while. Several minutes? An hour? More? It's as if there's no hurry to interrogate Skye, giving her time to collect her thoughts, or make any strategies she might consider for escape.

Quake has posed:
Skye did the rounds of the room several times to no avail. It was like a looney bin, only with concrete. Sides; floors; ceilings. All concrete.

She laughed bitterly. "So this is how John felt like." Really she could kick herself, she had been too dependent upon her powers of late. Then again, before having them, she really didn't get to break into anywhere. Her skills were very particular and she was considered too valuable to break in, unless there was a reason

She didn't touch the food or drink. But she was boggled how did Shredder remove her powers? That was the question.

Shredder has posed:
Eventually, the door unlatches, promptly opening upon the sound of the bolt being slid back. "Ms. Johnson," the familiar tower of a man steps through, the blades on his body announcing his identity. "You've made a terrible mistake by interfering with my business," he says. "But I shall not waste the opportunity," he instructs her. "Sit down," he indicates the mattress. It doesn't sound like it was a request. And if one thing has been made clear by Shredder's past maneuvers in the public light, he doesn't accept contention to what he commands.

Quake has posed:
For a moment, Skye was sorely tempted to stand, but decided she should follow his instructions.. But she glares at him to make it known that she isn't pleased. "Sure." The mattress put her on a subservient level. No doubt on purpose. "So, you got me. Now what?"

For the moment she doesn't bring up her missing powers.

Shredder has posed:
"Agent Johnson. You will assist me in understanding SHIELD protocols," he says. "You see, I have no need of them, which should make you more comfortable with this process, but one day I certainly will have need of them, as your agency seems to find themselves interfering with many operations that are adjacent to my own. I have no question that you have a file upon me, however incomplete it may be. The amount of information you are willing to divulge will determine the length of time that you survive." His eyes behind the mask stay very focused, not breaking eye contact. "I trust I have made myself clear on this matter."

Quake has posed:
"Wait a minute." Skye held up a finger. "Why should I help you? No matter what you will kill me? Correct?" Unless he decides to lure her over to the dark side. Sooner or later that wouldn't work.

Shredder has posed:
Though his mouth isn't visible, there looks like something of disappointment in the Jonin's eyes.
"Agent Johnson," he says, as if forcing patience. "I should expect better of someone of your standing within SHIELD. The longer you are alive, the more likely you are to find a crack in the defenses that you are held in. SHIELD is much larger than the Foot Clan. It has resources that could aid you in defeating us if you escape." He takes a step closer, indicating a lack of concern for any threat that she might hold, or that the possibility he proposed actually exists.

"You could follow your protocol now, which I'm sure is to not reveal /any/ information to me, and yes, your life will end quickly. You will have been true to your station. However," He pauses, to allow his first portion to be digested.
"However. If you break your protocol, and seek a longer term gain. There is the hope that you might change the outcome. Your defeat becomes your victory not in a short term escape, but in a long term defeat of me. Surely your superiors would accept the lack of discretion for such a significant accomplishment."

Quake has posed:
Now she laughs. "Sure. But why not offer me a position. After all, I've really not been on the good side of the law for very long. And who knows how under cover I was when the Rising Tide broke down the internet. Really I could have been working the two sides all along."

She could have, but she wasn't.

Skye took what he said though. "You really don't know me, do you? Waving the rules into my face, and dangling the prize of getting out if I just can hold off. What makes you think I didn't think of it already? What makes you think I ever followed the rules? I'm not a regular agent, even before I was Inhuman. Did you know it was SHIELD or federal prison from the start? I wasn't part of a graduating class."

Shredder has posed:
"Thank you for that information. It is a good start," Shredder says, conceding that he didn't know this about her, and he was just given something to work with. There's a certain tone of 'everything you say can and will be used' in the concession.

"I'm unconcerned with your bravado, Ms. Johnson. "I realize it makes you feel more comfortable." He maintains the very close position, well inside a person's personal space as he stands over her. "I am not easily convinced of a person's quick claim to betray their side, and I'm even more wary of someone when they can be so easily convinced. I do not appreciate an unreliable archer. Your actions with the Rising Tide are not unknown to me. I am not easily duped, and those who succeed in deceiving me regret their decision for the short remainder of their lives."

He releases the space, turning his back and pacing toward the other side of the cell. The door is open, and he's not between her and the exit. No doubt if she cleared the space, it would be difficult to know where she was and where to go, not to mention the ninja master is not that far from the door. "What is it that SHIELD wants with the interference of my business? I imagine something as simple as supply lines would not warrant their direct result." The unspoken question, he wants to know what she knows of where the materials are heading.

Quake has posed:
"You're right to not look at the Rising Tide as proof of my proof of being a double agent. It would be a lot earlier than that. I didn't even know how I felt about SHIELD. I wanted to be free." Skye shrugs. Really if he put in a little work he probably could have found it out by himself. After all, she didn't hide her past if you knew where to look.

"What does SHIELD want with you? Other than John Stewart, you're the single most important gang. Usually you're underground keeping quiet.Usually not our problem because of it." Really, usually they were the policeman's problems.

Unless..

"We heard about the numbers of stocks being taken down by the railroad and ships. Nothing unusual, but large quantities. To tell the truth you didn't ever cross our minds." But he will now! Still did the cargo really reflect what was in those boxes and shipping containers. That was the question.

She didn't insult him by saying she wasn't the only one there.

Shredder has posed:
There's no response for several seconds. No grunt, no hmph, Just silence as he stays facing the opposite wall. He finally turns around. "Very well," he says. "I will have more information later that I will require," he says, seeming satisfied. He doesn't bid a farewell, he simply walks to the door to exit the room.

Quake has posed:
Skye still did know how her powers were missing. Were they permanently gone? Were they stopped by something in the air? A needle when she was out? This could be more important than the missing stocks considering the amount of mutants all over the world.

Still she stayed quiet about them - there was a small chance that he wasn't aware of her powers being gone. Infinitesimal, but still a chance.

She watched him go, keeping an eye on the door. Waiting for her chance to break out.
