Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Thomas Raith, Black Canary

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thursday nights can be touch and go at the Blue Lady, sometimes they are packed and others they barely have a crowd at all. Tonight seems to be leaning more to the second catagory, with many open spots at the bar and tables, despite the live music. Thomas for his part is just enjoying the atmospere and drinking in the ambiance of his club.
Black Canary has posed:
Ugh. Bludhaven. For when Gotham isn't sufficiently screwed up for your tastes. Still, The Blue Lady isn't a bad place to go, and Dinah has friends there, so they'll tolerate the fact she's wearing biker's boots, jeans that are a size too small and a crop top that's two sizes too small under a leather jacket that's a size too big (or conceals things).

She breezes into the club, nodding at Axe and bellies up to the bar.

"Hey, Yosa. Mai Tai."

She waits for the reaction that doesn't come. Though Yosa also doesn't start working on a Mai Tai.

"Just kidding. Top shelf bourbon, straight up."

While waiting for the drink, she scans over the scant patronage with a quizzical look. "Not every active tonight," she says to nobody in particular.

Her eyes then fall on Thomas. Oh my.
Thomas Raith has posed:
Axe smirked at her when she walked in, shaking his head and calling "Well hello dare Trouble, long time no see." And Yosa simply nods taking out a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label and pouring a healthy measure into a glass for her. Thomas for his part just shakes his head, looking amused. "Of all the Gin joints in all the world, and so on and so forth." He says with a smirk. "You look great Dinah."
Black Canary has posed:
"Hi Thomas. Or I will be soon enough." She scoops up the whiskey and tosses it back taking a deep breath and shaking her head in a quivering motion.

"Yeah, that's the stuff."

She glances across at Thomas. "How have you been anyway? It's been a while."
Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith chuckles a little bit and takes a sip from a glass near his arm, a glass she'd know to be filled with sweet tea. "I've had some ups and downs. Quite a few downs recently, though things have been swinging the other way. So what brings you back here? You're not just here to piss of Sasha are you?" Sasha being the Headliner of the Club who might have been a /tiny/ bit jelious the time he let Dinah take the stage in her place..
Black Canary has posed:
"Nah, got no beef with her, even if I can sing better and look better in a microdress."

Meow!

"I'm here to unwind, mostly. Catch up with old friends. Check out that sax player 'cause he's looking mighty hot."

She leans toward Thomas, lowering her voice. "You figure he likes white blondes?"

Yes. She's being mean. And her face is a badly-concealed grin of amusement as she does so.
Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith smirks a little bit, signaling for Yosa to refill Dinah's glass and says, "I'm not sure, you'd have to ask his husband." he says with amusement, shaking his head. His eyes twinkling with playfulness. He sips his tea and shakes his head. "I thought it was maybe because I had hired your Ex's little sister as my assitant Manager and you were jelious." He says with a smirk, "Though to be honest I haven't seen her in a few weeks due to her classes.
Black Canary has posed:
"You think I wanted a job as assistant manager?" Dinah asks incredulously, staring at Thomas like he'd just grown a third eyeball in the centre of his forhead. "Not a chance. I like what I do for a living!"

She accepts the second drink and leans back in her seat, turning to face Thomas.

"So tell me about the downs. What's been happening?"

You know Canary. Someone does her friends wrong she screams at them.
Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith smirks a little bit and sighs, "I meant I thought you were checking up on /her/. He says amused, but when she asks about the downs he sighs. "You remember Buffy? The girl I was seeing for a while now?" Meaning Buffy the Vampire Slayer, though Dinah might not know /that/. "Well she got whammied and long story short we didn't so much break up as she completely forgot who I was.
Black Canary has posed:
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," Dinah says, and, amazingly, sounds authentic. The bizarre dichotomy of the rough-and-tumble nurterer strikes again. "Amnesia is a bitch."

Then a glint of mischief hits her eyes.

"Frank."

That trick she just did of shifting one bar stool away to avoid being hit is one she needs to share.
Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith smirks a litlle bit at the joke, and does take a playful swing, though only once they are both sure she is out of reach. "Yeah, it'd happened before but it was w3orse this time. Like she was a whole different person." He shakes his head, "And considering she could keep my Hunger tamed better then anyone else, I've had to be less discriminate about feeding."
Black Canary has posed:
"And ... ah ... how is that going? I don't really want to be having to hear from sources that there's a bunch of dead people with signs of dying in ecstasy building up, Thomas."

It's a gentle warning, all things considered.

"Do you still 'sip' instead of guzzling?"
Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith sighs, looking a /little/ offended but also resigned. It's a ligitimate concern even if a misplaced one. "I'm not going to turn into Madilyne." He says refering to his less discriminate cousin. "I'm careful. Sometimes too careful for my own good." He gives her a wicked grin and adds, "and while I never guzzle, I recall you not complaining about a nice long gulp now and then." Almost worth the hangover she had the next day.
Black Canary has posed:
"Well, a single gulp can be OK, if a bit tiring." Understatement on 'OK' there if her face is anything to go by. "I'm just more concerned with ... well, yeah. Madilyne. I don't ever want to hear you've gone Madilyne."

She stares into Thomas' eyes as she continues. "It would break my heart."

That seems to be a message of some sort. But the spell is broken when Dinah tosses back her second drink.

"So, how's business in the club anyway. Looks a little dead tonight. Zombie convention or something?"
