Nine O'Clock On A Saturday
Date of Scene: 06 August 2022
Location: Luke's Bar, Central Harlem
Synopsis: Sam and Sarah both come into Luke's bar.
Cast of Characters: Luke Cage, Cannonball, Sarah Connor

Luke Cage has posed:
It's a quiet evening for a weekend. The Usual Suspects are out in fewer numbers than waht Luke typically expects for his place. He wasn't one to be terribly paranoid, however, so he was taking it in stride.

Moving down the bar, he holds two bottles of beer in hand. Easily popping the caps, he sets the bottles on the bar for a customer, "There you go." He gives a nod and pauses to take an empty pint glass off the bartop, setting it into a tray under the bar to be bussed to the back and get cleaned sometime later in the night.
Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has come out looking for someone tonight, and heard he sometimes comes by here. It is not an emergency or he would try communicator or some suck, no it is more a personal thing. So the young man whose accent might get him some grief comes walking into the bar looking about and heading towards the bar when he does not see who he is looking for.
Sarah Connor has posed:
Seeing as Sarah was in the neighbourhood (again!), after what she was trying to get a peek at (illegally), she figured 'why not?'. Luke's was here. She was here. And most importantly: it was not it her own neighbourhood.

Three out of three. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Walking into Luke's, similarly dressed as she was the first time, she looked around taking mental notes and made it to the bar. "One cheap beer."

She had learned from the first time!
Luke Cage has posed:
Luke Cage looks to Samuel as he enters. Not one of the regulars, but hey? If the regulars don't show up to help pay the bills, he'll gladly take new business. He pauses in front of the man, "Welcome to Luke's. What'll you have?"

As he lets the man consider his drink of choice, he sees Sarah enter and approach the bar. Not a regular, but no longer a first time custoer. "Welcome back." He chuckles, "Well, there aren't any One-Dollar beers today. But I'll get you the cheapest I have." He walks over to draw a pint from the tap with the Genessee badge on the handle.

He slides it on over to Sarah before looking back to Samuel to see what he's decided on.
Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Ah'll take a draft." He says as he sits down "By any chance you see a fellow in here tonight about ya tall." He holds his hand up around five foot five and a half foot range. "Grumpy, black hair, probably smoking a cigar even if ya told him not to."
Sarah Connor has posed:
"Beer is beer. Unless I've got to actually drink it." Sarah winks at Luke. A gesture that would have actually meant more if she's smiled a real smile with it.

No go.

Samuel gets a look. "I pretty certain they do not carry that in bottles."

Again, it would been funnier if she had been smiling. Something she doesn't do to often.
Luke Cage has posed:
Luke Cage shrugs to Sarah, "Still don't care what you do with it once you've paid for it." It's an easy, indifferent smile he offers to her. If she pays she can drink it or not.

A nod to Samuel, "Sure. Coming up." Heading back to the taps, he fills a glass as requested and sets it in front of the man and listens to the description of who he is searching for.

"No. I haven't any anyone matching that description come through today, sorry." glance toward Sarah. Maybe she fit the grumpy and dark hair part. But not the smoking or short parts.

It's a thought that amuses him.
Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "He is probably out of town, was just looking to chat with him a bit." He seems sincere with his comment. He will take a sip of his beer, and looks over to Sarah "Na, he might come in a can, can of whoop ass, but not a bottle."
Sarah Connor has posed:
"Logan. That's who you are looking for." Sarah peels off the corner of the coaster. "And before you get too excited, I haven't seen him for weeks." Maybe months.

As for the description, Samuel hit the nail with the hammer perfectly. She knew was Luke was thinking, though. To which she lifted of her glass. "Touche."
Luke Cage has posed:
Luke Cage makes a note of the name of the man in question. It always helped to know more about possible customers. Or trouble makers if the indication that the woman he does not know by name seems to know the man. She isn't exactly trouble, but neither is she entirely a saint that much is certain.

He begins to polish a tray of clean glasses as she retorts to him and he looks innocent, "What?" There is an impish look in his eyes though. He knows exactly why she's responded that way.
Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Yea aint been quite that long since Ah have saw him, but figured I would check a few of the places I remembered him mentioning
Sarah Connor has posed:
"He likes his space. " Sarah knows that much about him. Plus a few more things besides. Not that she was willing to blab to Samuel. "If you find him, tell him the lady from the park remembers him."

She quirked up a brow, turning to Luke, "My hair isn't as dark as his. Besides, I've got the wrong sorta plumbing for this. If you know what I mean."
Luke Cage has posed:
Luke Cage shrugs, "I wasn't suggesting you were the man, lady" he smirks as he works on removing the spots from the clean glasses. A glance toward Samuel. "Well I can't say I've seen anyone like that around in a long while. But if I do, I'll let him know he's got a friend trying to track him down."
Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "And think he has a lot more hair than you not even worrying about the color." He jokes a bit and says "When I see him will let him know."
Sarah Connor has posed:
"He certainly is hirsute." Sarah takes a drink of her beer. "I can't say that anyone accused me of something similar. At least not to my face." Pulling out some bills she lays them beside the three-quarters full beer, and heads off.
Luke Cage has posed:
Luke Cage says, "Have a good night."

Luke moves down the bar to take to cash and ring it into the register. Then he takes the glass, dumping it down the drain of a small sink behind the bar, then sets the empty glass into a tray for dirties. He looks to Samuel, "Still doing okay?"
Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie :nods, and says "Yea, Ah think Ah am good, might check a few more places, and don't want to get to plastered, so when Ah go looking am looking for a leprachaun or something by the last bar."
Luke Cage has posed:
Luke Cage nods, "I get that. Good luck then. Stay safe" he offers as he moves down to close out the tab for another customer. "Stop back by any time."
