Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
The trip home was going to take time. They had opted to travel via yacht, one purchased with the money of John Aaron. He probably would have words with his son about that later. But for now, it was just lovely days and nights spent floating through the water of the Mediterranean Sea. They followed the coastline, keeping it just within eyesight. The plan was to reach England, pick up supplies, then embark over the Atlantic.

But for now, it was evening time. The ship was moving along at a good clip, sails full of the strong winds. The pair were sitting at the 'saloon', the area where the ship's controls were but also several benches. The craft was so well built, it practically could sail itself when there was no need for changes in course or adjustments.

Thus, John and Natasha were currently on one of those benches, snuggled up and watching the sky above. Out here the stars were brighter and seemed more in number, since there was no competition from the lights of urban areas.

"This is absolutely beautiful."
Phobos has posed:
The night was definitely chilly, but the comforter, each other, both helped to keep the cold away even as across the water there were hints of mist and fog off in the distance that made line of sight shorter than the norm. But the glow of the coastline was ever on their right as they sailed, and the GPS was a spectacular thing for navigation in these modern times.
Which left the two of them the freedom to just spend time together, to hold each other close, and to indulge... in vodka. He lifts the bottle and smiles sidelong at her, offering to refill her glass and either way she decides he does pour some more into his own.
"I find myself wanting to stop into each port just to look around. I'm used to traveling with like... an objective in mind. Get there, do this, leave." Alex shakes his head a little, "But this is like... I dunno. Freedom."
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
When offered the vodka, Natasha gave a nod as she held up her glass. Once it was filled, she took a quick sip. Then snuggled back under the blanket, leaning more against him. She was wearing a light sweater over her bikini top. A pair of yoga pants on her legs. Though no shoes. She just kept her feet tucked up under the cover.

"Well, having freedom means we can choose to stop or not. We aren't on a set time table." She glanced back up at him. "Wouldn't be required to do specific things, see specific points of interest on the map. Just go into town and enjoy. Stay for as long as we want. Then move further up the coast?"
Phobos has posed:
"That could be fun," Alexander says as he leans there with her, one arm settled around her shoulders and holding her close. "And I'm all for it, though my father will have something to say about it." Then his lips twist a little crookedly as he adds, "I mean he's already going to be all 'Eight million dollars?!' and if he thinks I spent that time just wandering the world..."
But then he tilts his head to the side and lifts his gaze to the heavens thoughtfully, gaze distancing at the stars as he adds. "Well actually he might understand it, considering some of the things he's done."
A look back, "Did you have anywhere you'd like to stop? Anything you'd like to do?"
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Depends if we want to go backwards or continue forward," Natasha says. She doesn't mind John Aaron being annoyed. That was unavoidable. Perhaps not rushing back to his location to face that was for the best. Though she presumed it would be a lot of bluster, yellling and the like. Though he was the God of War. She might just be silly.

"Not sure if we have passed Cartagena yet. If not, it would be a good spot to visit. Gibraltar. When we get around to Portugal, we can stop ad Lisbon although it's a large port so not sure if that appeals." She took another sip of the vodka then dangled her hand over the back of the bench/couch they occupied, holding her glass of vodka with two fingers and her thumb.

"What about you? Any specific stops?"
Phobos has posed:
"Gibraltar appeals," Alexander says then his lips twist a little, "Though according to my yachting forums apparently it is a hassle these days with all the traffic, best to go through at night." A slight grin flickers over his features as if the idea of traffic at Gibraltar is a goofy thing somehow.
A deep breath is taken, then he turns his head a little just to nuzzle her short red hair, inhaling that scent of the evening, the ocean, her, and the world.
"If we see a village or the like that might be nice." Then his eyebrows raise. "But then if they see us in this they'll be all, 'look at those rich assholes.'" Which has him reflecting as he looks around the high tech yacht and the saloon area. "And could you blame them? Maybe we lower the anchor somewhere nearby and go ashore then walk there?"
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Perhaps we should have gone for the two million option," Natasha says in a teasing tone. Something she kept picking on him about. But he had been excited by some of the features of the more expensive. And honestly, when talking about millions of dollars, did it really matter /that/ much if it was two or eight?

"Perhaps we should've bought a fishing boat. Though sadly, then they might expect us to have actually be able to man it and fish." She chuckled a bit and shook her head. "Not a cover I used before so out of my skill set. I can fish but not in the commercial sense." She gave a little nod. "Definitely anchor and go ashore then walk to town. Avoid the worst questions and assumptions."
Phobos has posed:
"Probably wise," Then Alexander taps a finger to the side of his temple, "See I'm very smart." A nod is given as he seems so entirely pleased with himself that he thought up that whole anchor the boat and go ashore to keep a low profile...
As they sail across the Mediterranean in an expensive yacht.
But the night is warm and lovely as he curls close to her and nudges her cheek with the tip of his nose, "Want to lower the anchor and go for a swim?" Though the low rumble deep in his chest seems to indicate that a swim is perhaps... the last thing on his mind.
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"I think that would be lovely," Natasha replies. She does raise her glass, giving a mock toast toward him. Then she downed the remainder of the liquid and set the glass aside as she turned in his arms before pushed away to shove the cover aside.
