Captain America has posed:
The beach was quiet today.

The sun was starting to set, giving a golden hour to all who resided on that beach. Steve Rogers was never one who got to /enjoy/ what a beach day was or was even supposed to be. All he remembers is the beaches of Normandy.

So what does he do on a particular day off?

Go enjoy the thing he was never allowed to enjoy. He emerges from the waters, the liquid dripping off of him as swim trunks cover his lower body from hip to knees. His shield left at home, his motorcycle awaiting him when it's time. He walks towards a towel he has on the sands to dry off. Currently, he's alone.

Might not be that way for long.

Like Steven Karen has gone on a much-needed and well demanded vacation!

     She's of course, here as a citizen as the owner of starr labs and various other companies taking a much-demanded Vacation. So she's here on this semi-private beach enjoying the dying embers of the sun.

     Of course, since she's away from work, she dosn't have to wear her human outfit so she's in a cute bikini some shades on her face.. As least till she sits up with a start and looks around " Shit.. I fell asleep "

Captain America has posed:
Walking over to where Karen was rested, Steve has his hands on his hips, a winning smile on his face. "Good morning, sunshine." Well, more like good /evening/ sunshine. But, he descends onto the towel next to her, looking at the ocean.

"Beautiful view. Haven't seen one quite like it in a long time."

For once, Captain America, leader of the Avengers and apparently immortal soldier, was given the chance to /relax/. Though he turns his attention to his date for the day, smiling ath er.

"Have any good dreams?"

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Wipes her mouth, pulling her shades off, showing her own bright blue eye's as she looks around for a moment .. She seems a little lost before she snaps back and beams him a smile " Not really.. too much stress," She sighs, " But I guess I was more zonked than I thought " .

     She looks a little sheepish as she rubs her neck a bit as if embarrassed he saw her sleeping " I'm Karen.. it's nice to meet you " .

Captain America has posed:
Steve smiles at her wonderfully, though he frowns when she admits to him that she didn't really have any good dreams. "Sorry to hear that." But shei ntroduces herself as Karen. A kind smile on his face, he reaches his hand to shake hers, if she so desires.

"I'm Steve. The pleasure's mine."

He didn't mind seeing her sleeping. She seemed peaceful.

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Her handshake is surprisingly firm as she gives it before she flumps back down and rubs her eye's " Seesh I never nod off like that.. I guess this place is finally getting to me ' She looks over " so what high-level work are you in? I only ask because only people who come to this place are the stressed silly and either rich or have connections " .

Surprisingly firm indeed!

Steve seems surprised by the shake, but judging from her physique, he shouldn't be. Though he gives her hand a firm shake, he releases it and rests on the back of his hands, looking at her with kindness and warmth in his eyes.

"Relaxation always gets to the best of us at some point, I think. We work ourselves ragged and sometimes? Sometimes we really just need the rest."

He shrugs.

"Saving hte world, mostly." He chuckles. "A friend of mine sent me here for some R&R."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Blinks and does a bit of a double take. Normally normally you could laugh that off but she's here for mostly the same reason.. So she lifts an eyebrow " Come on lets hit the bar.. I think this is gonna take more drinks " She says brightly.
