Kit Killovarras has posed:
The dining hall is usually a place for people to come and to eat and to be social, but this late at night most people aren't eating a meal as often as sleeping one off, but certain students in this place are nocturnal by nature.

With his typical quiet grace, Kit brings his newly prepared meal out and starts setting things down, the few dishes he's managed all hovering near him prior to setting themselves down at a table and arranging themselves. There's a faint smell of curry with more than a hint of something remarkably spicy pouring from one of the plates, a fair sized bowl of what looks like saffron rice and the odd man out? A covered bowl that's much colder than the other dishes and much more out-of-place.

Ah well, the other up side to being nocturnal is that not many of the other students have to see what he eats, especially when he indulges in what he has planned for tonight.

Mystique has posed:
Another Dark figure walks into the room, somebody who dosn't normally seem to be here.. It's X-23 or laura to those who know her though she seems a little diffrent. Right now, she's walking with a tay of various foods, witch is also odd as she's normally mostly a all-meat girl, and this time, she's got various items.

     Like Kit, her food would smell very very spicy though her food seems more Schezwan .

Kit gives Laura a glance and a little wave and smile, motioning her over to the table as he gives a simple, "Hey, long time no--" Then something catches his attention and he suddenly stops talking, staring at the woman for a moment before he tilts his head and asks rather bluntly, "Who are you?"

He's not saying it in an aggressive way, or at least he's not intending to, but he does have that tone of 'I can see through your game' when he speaks. Regardless though, it seems the offer of a place at the same table is still open.

Mystique Blinks and laughs " Well that took less time then I expected, " She says as she shifts back to her rather familiar blue self.. but she's got some bits on for modesty of course, as she smiles and puts her tray down with a sigh " I Suppose I shoulda guessed with your animal nose " .

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit just gives a little chuckle as he sits down and nods, "Enough time spent around shapeshifters gets you to start identifying people more by smell than by sight." he admits with a little shrug. "Pretty convincing though otherwise.

Then he gives a toothy little smile and muses, "I see you're about as fond of spicy foods as I am." with a little wiggle of his nose, then he extends a paw and adds, "Don't think we've met by the way. I'm Kit, one of the third-year students here." with a warm smile and a friendly tone.

Mystique Grins and smirks " I am. After hundred years, you tend to find that only foods that leave a mark are spicy," she smirks as she grabs the hand and gives a hand shake." Mystique, Teacher, your gonna have my class this year or next " she winks "I teach computers and Media"

Kit Killovarras has posed:
There's a little chuckle as Kit's ears perk up and he admits, "Yeah, I actually have that one next semester, so it'll be this year." with a slight nod, "Go easy on me, hmm? I can deal with ancient curses, devils and untold magics, but technology still isn't my strong suit." The hundred years comment gets a little chuckle and he just shrugs, "If that were the case, my grand dad would love spicy food, but he's more a fan of bitter. Might just be though that after three hundred you tend to burn out on just about everything."

Well, there's an obvious 'he's not just a mutant' bit of information, but oh well. He does however give another thin, toothy grin as he adds, "Just hoping you don't get weirded out by strange foods.. I've already made three of the students here puke with the things I eat and adding a teacher to that list wouldn't be too great."

Mystique Laughs ' Out of all the teachers here, I'd be the hardest to wig out " She smirks as she leans down and starts to bite her food " I mean I have meal worms in my curry " She smirks. "I've tried about everything this world has to offer by choice or not " she shrugs a little those yellow eye's looking at the yeen "Are you a morloc? "

"Funny you should say that," the yeen notes when she mentions meal worms, opening the covered dish to reveal several live scorpions. The dish is apparently designed inside to be steep, like a typical scorpion trap would be so the little bastards can't escape.

"As for being a Morlock? I mean, in a sense I'm similar, but no. I was one of the lucky ones, though when I was younger I didn't see it that way. My family shielded me from the majority of the world until recently."

Mystique thinks and nods " Ah so you qualify but your family didn't reject you so in a sense you just a mutant with diffrent tastes " She cocks her head " Can you enjoy the tails? " she looks back " I can but only because posion dosn't really work on me "

Kit Killovarras has posed:
The answer to that question comes with a bit of a crunch when Kit picks up one of the crawlies by the tail, dips it into his curry, then pops it back and finishes it off in a few crunchy little snaps. Then he gives a little smile as his tongue coils around his maw for a moment before musing, "They're basically my version of a protein bar. Most venomous insects don't really affect me too badly, though if I were to much down on a few Deathstalkers or a Fat Tail I might get a stomach ache." Then he munches a bit of his rice before adding, "And yeah, my family did the opposite in fact, but then again, I'm not the weirdest member of my family. My dad is possessed by seven demons, each one granting him their magics in exchange for his service to them."

Mystique has posed:
Mystique Blinks " Oh so they arn't mutants " She asks softly as she reaches over to grab a scorpian and dip it and pop it into her mouth and crunch as well , she's she dosn't have an issue what so ever as she eats her own scorpian.. She licks her lips and smirks " not bad but normal current still nicer for me " She says brightly

Kit shakes his head and explains, "Nope, technically not even human. In fact to my knowledge, I'm the first member of my species to be affected by the X-gene." with a little sigh, dousing another scorpion in the curry before snapping it up and chasing it with a bit of the curry itself.

"Homomagi," Kit says after he finishes off the bug, explaining, "Though most more commonly know us as Magicians. Offshot of human, but we live a lot longer and we're a bit more in-tuned with things that most of humanity aren't. In my case, it's dimensional energy manipulation and focusing."

Mystique Looks him over a little " Really so the X Gene must be why you look " She motions " Because I've met several magical race types who call themselves Magicians, they didn't look even close to you " She says with a smirk " They don't have our good looks " she takes a bit of her food " they mostly have that pink skin issue "

There's a little nod and a bit of a chuckle as Kit admits, "Pretty much everyone in my family can pass as human except me." with a bit of a shrug. "I'll admit, I don't know whether to be thankful though or to feel robbed, I've learned that a lot of mutants are born looking relatively normal and the gene kicks in later in life."

He pauses and lets that thought sort of drift as he snaps down a bit more rice, then adds, "Meanwhile, I was born like this.. Mom even told me the midwife nearly had a heart attack at the sight of me."

Mystique Smirks " Yep , your lucky you didn't get choked with your own cord " she says a bit saddly " But It's nice to see one of the non int he school makes me happy .. this place too much veneer " She says as she sips her drink touching " Of course I tend to pass cause I can do this " She changes into Megan fox and winks before changing back .

"Being able to pass is over-rated," Kit says with a quiet chuckle and a toothy little grin. "I used to hate the fact that there were a lot of people who would run away at the sight of me, but it's been pretty useful to me lately, especially when I'm hunting in Central Park." He says that last little bit with a wink and a cheeky little smile.

"And yeah, no. If the doctors had freaked out and tried to do anything to me, there would have been hell to pay.. Fairly literally. Like I said, my dad's possessed by seven demons, my mother is a high priestess of the goddess Isis and my grandfather is a dimensional conduit with a knack for dark humor." Then another Scorpion perishes in a display of dip, dip CRUNCH before he adds, "That and I'm pretty sure I've heard him tell stories of how he had to shift half of some poor fools body into another dimension before."

Mystique Laughs " Sounds like magic types " She says softly " Most of them have crazy shit like that " She smirks "Well this was fun we should chat again " She stands up though shes male right now as she pats your hand her voice clearly male she's still blue but male " Hope we can hang out again " of course as a shape shifter what is her sex really for hir it's everything.
