Lois Lane has posed:
It's not too often that Lois finds herself heading to the Fortress of Solitude. Which, if she thinks about it, makes a lot of sense. It's... you know, for solitude and all. And she certainly doesn't often head there without Clark giving her a lift. But she's not entirely helpless... even if she did need to call in a few favors. People are always so /reluctant/ to lend you a sled dog team in the Antarctic just because you 'totally need it for a few days.'

But it was the easiest way Lois could think of to try and surprise Clark... though as she walks towards the entrance to the Fortress it hits her.

He's probably going to get a text or something when she opens the door. Well, so much for the surprise.

She'll find some way to make the trip worthwhile. Maybe she'll find some memento that reminds her of a story she meant to write and skipped.

Power Girl Clark didn't get the text, it was the only other person who is here almost all the time, trying to learn how to be a good girl. So Karen blinks when the robot tells her a registered user has shown up unscheduled. She nods " Don't tell Kal.. i'll check this out " .

     She floats off, flying towards the entrance in a flash, peering down as this other woman seems to walk inside. Her blue eyes watch, wondering what this girl is up to.

Lois Lane has posed:
Lois is easy to spot... for one thing, instead of her usual purples, she's wearing a heavy, hooded parka with bright, dayglo orange for easy visibility. Also, you know, she's handling the unhooking of the team of sled dogs like she's done this before.

But then she's pausing as she walks into the entranceway and... sees a flying blonde. Eyebrows perk up, hood pulled back to reveal her own dark hair and her face, "I... you're not Cla- Ka-... Superman." She manages to only /partway/ stumble through each of his names before settling on... well, anyone who's /here/ is going to know that one. And probably know why she's trying not to say the others. "I'm Lois! Lane. His... we're... friends. Coworkers. Both. It's kind of complicated."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Floats staring at the other woman cocking her head to the side as if she's trying to decide what to do .. She floats closer though she has the same cape as clark though flapping behind her as she floats closer in her white suit.

     She seems to sniff a little before she motions with her hand for lois to come inside. She hasn't spoken though lois would notice she hasn't stopped staring as if looking at every detail of the other woman.

Lois's eyebrows shoot up as the unknown blonde motions for her to come in... and, well, she's staring right back, those sharp, attentive eyes taking in every detail of PG's posture, hairstyle, frame... costume. Cape. Her right eyebrow lifts at that last. Apparently Clark's lending out capes. Interesting.

She sighs and hustles forward, short, fast steps towards the interior of the fortress. The dogs will be fine, sheltered from the winds by the mass of the fortress itself. And if she's staying /too/ long she can bring them in!

She's definitely going to keep an eye on that cape. If only to see if it still flutters inside when there's no wind. She's always been curious about that.

Power Girl It does not as much but a little, maybe it's the flying powers. As she looks at her " You must be cold," She says her voice is perky and cheerful as she looks at the other girl . she then grabs the other woman, and up they go as she lifts her up and starts to fly up even as Lois would hear her speaking in some strang language and bots flying down to grab the dogs and lead them inside!

     " Kal said humans would freeze here.. I don't want his friend to freeze," She says, simply taking Lois into the sunroom.

Lois /squeals/ in... well, in a way that she wouldn't want reported on. Luckily she's the only reporter for a thousand miles in any direction and she's decided this little greeting and entrance is /off/ the record. Especially because 'And then I was gripping the mysterious blonde's shoulders for my life' is so easy to misread.

She's alert enough to catch the bots guiding the dogs in... well, that's good! And then once they're in the sun room, she's working at her parka, "Oh! Definitely, eventually. But I could probably last a day or so with this coat. But... inside is a lot better. So you know Kal! ...Are you another cousin?"

Her eyebrows perk expectantly, "I'm Lois. Lois Lane. I... know him pretty well. But we haven't met in awhile and I guess he hasn't had a chance to introduce us."

Power Girl cocks her head with those big innocent eyes " Kinda, I was a clone from his cousin Kara.. That's why he gave me the name Karen.. I have all her memories, but I'm a little older body-wise. Kal helped me see that doing what lex told me was wrong " She shrugs. She looks over " Nice to meet you " She then beams a huge bright sunny smile.

Lois Lane has posed:
Lois laughs sharply, "Oh my god... you're... well, yeah... you've got some things in common with Kara and... Lex?" both eyebrows raise high for that and she sighs out, "So you're... what, living here all alone until you get more of a handle on humans?"

She looks around to drop her parka, and settles on just leaving it against the wall, before she's dragging the suspenders of her snow pants off her shoulders, sliding them down, leaving her in a white t-shirt and sweatpants. Another layer of warmth and comfort. Not that she didn't consider trying to fit her usual purple blazer and skirt into the winter getup.

She smiles lopsidedly, "Well, Karen, call me Lois. It's nice to meet you. A little surprising but I guess that's why I haven't seen Clark around for more than a couple seconds during deadlines."

Power Girl Beams a smile " Your very pretty," She says softly as she thinks, " I dunno if I'm the reason " she thinks, " Maybe? " She cocks her head " yes, i am.. i work at star labs too to help, but that's mostly so I can do science stuff and learn the human technologies " She grins

     She walks over and gives a huge hug squishing her strong body against the other woman but it seems she's got the whole don't snap a person in two down it seems.

Lois lets out an almost wheezing breath. She's fit, toned... she goes to the gym regularly, practices MMA, but... well, there's fit, and then there's Kryptonian fit. But yeah, Karen's got the basics down enough that it just means Lois is letting out a slow, shuddering breath as she's chest to chest with the tall blonde. "Oh! That's good. It's probably like someone from nowadays going back to colonial times and having to learn how all their tech works... it's simpler, but it's /so/ simple it's... yeah."

She grins lopsidedly, "Well! What else are you doing way down here in the snow? Do you at least get TV?"

Power Girl Blinks and nods " Yea I've been watching it to learn about humans " She waves her hand and hundreds of screens pop up all of them in diffrent langauges she's watching like a 100 channels at once as she looks over " See " She beams some of them are news.. some are dramas .. fantasy some cartoon, huge mix of tv bits . as she smiles

     But those holo screens seem to float like nothing at all . as she looks over letting the other woman go .

Lois's eyes widen, her mouth falls open... Karen can watch /all/ of these? It's been like two seconds and she's already overwhelmed, nearly wincing at the overlapping sound and images on the floating holoscreens. Still, she can't resist reaching down into her parka tand grabbing a pen and a trusty notepad. Always reliable, pen and paper.

Lois's lips quirk in a little smile, "So! ...Want to do an interview? I mean, I won't publish it unless you and Clark say it's okay. But... I've never met a clone before. Well, not that I know of."

Power Girl Blinks and thinks, " Sure " she smiles brightly " As long as Kal says it's okay, I don't mind," she says cheerfully as she seems to sit right there in the air she even crosses her legs as she leans forward " I've watched a bunch of interviews.. is that like that one I really like where they eat those spicy wings and they ask deep questions? " She asks, looking around as if trying to find the chicken wings.

Lois perks her eyebrows high and murmurs dryly, "Well, I 'm sure we could do something like that! I was figuring maybe we just chat though. You know, just get to know each other." She looks around slowly, "But I guess if any giant fortress of alien tech is going to have something that can make hot wings... we could try to find it." She glances over to the blonde with a smirk. "Promise we won't get in trouble snooping around?"

Power Girl Blinks and cocks her head " Why would we get in trouble for walking around the house? " She ask, frowning as if she doesn't understand " Is there something you wanna see? I mean, other than the dungeon, that's dangerous I can take you anywhere else," She smiles " I can get the bots to make us some wings, though, I tried them, and they are really tasty. Your chicken is amazing " .

Lois Lane has posed:
Lois arches one eyebrow /very/ high, "There's a dungeon? Okay, that's... definitely a subject for another time." She nods solemnly and laughs softly, "I don't think I've ever had a tour of this place. Maybe you can show me your favorite room while the bots cook us something? I want you comfortable and relaxed for the interview!"

Power Girl Thinks for a moment " I know " She beams and grabs lois in a princess carry. Lifting the girl up, she starts to fly off as she beams, " I'm sure you'll like this place as much as I do .. there are soo many soft things to touch " She beams brightly as she flys.

     She is of course, taking you to the intergalactic zoo that Clark keeps, but you don't know they're filled with animals from all over the earth and various aliens that Clark has come across!

Lois Lane has posed:
Lois Lane lets out a sharp, thrilled squeal! ...Very not-daring-reporter, but very 'Carried in a sudden, unexpected princess carry' appropriate! And off she's floating to this mysterious wonderful place of softness.

And even Lois, renowned queen of sarcasm, can't help but be genuinely curious and enthusiastic. Karen just has that brightness to her.

And she has a feeling the bright, smiling girl is going to be all kinds of interesting.
