Synopsis: Clark meets Troia.
Cast of Characters: Superman, Troia

Superman has posed:
Superman floats down to the ground. His uniform a familiar sight especially around these parts. A few of the guards know the man has meetings with Diana somewhat regularly. And like all the times before, Superman waits to be let into the building. He doesn't move, barge or presume his way in. The man waits like any courteous guest. This is land of Themyscira so he treats it like being on the island, but with a lot less tension. It's probably less stressful, bothersome and upsetting to be on soil considered to be an extension of the island rather than the -actual- island.

The guards don't tell him anything. Diana is either not there or in a meeting. They're trying to think of an appropriate thing to tell him. He is a welcomed guest when schedules permit. So, it's the matter of not turning away someone disrespectfully. Also, not making him wait for forever and a day without some consolation or anything along those lines. Whether it's a courtesy to who he is, respect Diana holds for him or a little of both, goes unsaid. Either way, he's just waiting on this sunny evening. The sun isn't at high noon, but the skies have yet to turn blue despite the sun starting to make the trek over the horizon that will send the world into expected darkness.
Troia has posed:
As it would happen, today is one of those rare days where Donna Troy is at the Consulate. It's not that she shirks her duties as a dignitary of Themysicira, so much as Diana has it well in hand. So most of the heavy lifting of diplomatic work is preformed by her sister... that and Donna's been away for several years. Not in exile, but on a soljourn to different parts of the world, learning about the peoples there.

When she steps out of the back offices, it's in something sleek and black. Professional, pants suit with a nice jacket over a short cropped jerkin that could do just as well on a Ren Fair as it would a boardroom... though few BOD would allow as much abdomen to be on display and the pants would probably have to be 'slightly' less tight...

Likewise her hair is cut short and shaved on the sides, slicked back in a faux hawk, with earrings running down the whole length of her ears connected by small silver chains.

While it is still clear that she is a spitting image of Diana, it is also very much obvious that if this is Diana, she's recently gone through a makeover. Princess. One of the guards waves her over, with blue eyes tracking the individual for whom she's been called. Motioning up to Superman, to whom Donna smiles and approaches.
Superman has posed:
Superman gives a friendly wave then there's a pause. He -knows- this isn't Diana. Maybe it's the outfit? Maybe it's the outfit? Just the combination is something he can't see Diana doing. "Hello, Miss. . .," the voice trails as he leaves it dangle for an introduction.

He hasn't seen Donna troy since the soljourn. So, any growth or changes have been lost on him until this moment.

"I was looking for Princess Diana," he says knowing the spitting image isn't Diana, but he will still explain himself. "You do look a lot like her," there's a pause. "We've met before haven't we?" he says thinkng of one, or two, guesses as to who this could be.
Troia has posed:
"Troy." Donna fills in the introduction with a nod and an extended hand of greeting to Kal, "Diana is indisposed, unfortuntely, but if there's something I can assist you with, I'd be happy to do so." The guards definitely seem differential to Donna, regardless of the fact that she is not the Ambassador.

Though, seeing that look in his eyes... one of recognition that borders on confussion... She laughs quietly. "She's my sister. My twin sister." This, of course, is purely in line with what people might know of Diana and Donna.
Superman has posed:
"It's been a while!" Superman says with recgonition finally beating him over the head. Sky blue eyes taking her in. "You look good!" and he speaks honestly on that one. "Are you trying to impress the board rooms or the guards with the outfit?" he wouldn't be suprrised if it was both.

"That's alright. How long have you been back?" hea sks, honestly curious about everything and he walks into the embassy with her. "What will you do now that you're back?" he looks back to her from time to time. Just being engaged with the woman. It has been a spell, to say that least.
Troia has posed:
Donna looks down at her outfit, opening her suit jacket with a little cackle, "Not really, no. Just comfortable. Blending two cultural garb into something reasonable and professional for an Amazon." She fastens one button her coat and lays her hands atop it, gripping her left wrist with her right hand with her hip jutting slightly to the right.

"I'm uncertain. I've reached back out to the Titans, but I still have to speak with your Cousin. Until then, I mostly do odd jobs for Diana, getting my feet wet now that I'm back amongst the civilized." An amused grin plays across her tanned face, "It's only been a few days, however. Almost a week, I believe?" One glance at her watch, turned over to see the face sitting on the inside of her wrist.

"Long enough to have not gotten into any trouble."
Superman has posed:
"Well, talk to Robin or Nightwing. Robin is a good source of information. I will let my cousin know a familiar face is looking for her." Then he looks at her for a moment. "So, you haven't had Big Belly Burger yet or taken down some robbers with a little added technology yet?" he asks since she mentioned that no trouble had been had so far. "Well, I can always bring you on patrol if you want to cause some trouble for someone that made wrong life choices," he offers as a compromise. It can also show the world who Donna Troy really is.
Troia has posed:
Donna laughs at the last and waves a hand with a slow shake of her head, "No, I wouldn't dream of upstaging Superman on his own patrol." She is, very obviously, teasing. If not by how playfully she says it, then certainly by the good natured grin on her face. Her hand returns to her hips, gripping just above the tight sinch of her belt around her waist.

"At some point, my inclinations gravitated away from actual Supehero work... Long before I left on my soljourn. It isn't that I 'don't see the point' because obviously I do, it's that there's a host of individuals who the world might rely upon. I've spent hundreds of years fighting, I want to spend a few enjoying life." Glancing about the Consulate, "Perhaps get into the family business?" A smirk curls through her grin.
Superman has posed:
"Please. Upstage me," Superman says going with the teasing. "I welcome any hero the opportunity. The world could see that there's more than one Superman out there," he grins look back to her. He would welcome the challenge.

Then she hits a nerve. It's not expected, but Superman goes quiet for a moment. "What kind of business? I understand the enjoying life part. I think everyone who puts on a costume wants that. Enjoy the world they help save," and it doesn't take super-hearing to figure out someone else is consider various work life balances. Sky blue eyes look back to Donna. That smirk causes him to actually chuckle for a moment.
Troia has posed:
Donna motions around when he asks about the business, "This. Working at the consulate as an Ambassador to my people. Bring the culture of Themysicira to the mainland, teaching about our history in Universities across the world." Her hand settles on her hips once more. "For thousands of years we've exist and so little is actually known about us off of our island..." A nod to the Embassy, "Diana's work here has brought us out of the darkness, certainly, but there's so much more that we could do... and I want to."

Her smirk evaporates into an easy smile. "Which was largely the reason for my soljourn. I travelled the world, saw the hidden cultures of so many peoples as far away as Asia Minor and the deepest mountains of Russia. Learned about them.. studied with their elders and taught them in kind. A cultural exchange, if you will.. I feel like that's my calling."
Superman has posed:
"Any University would be lucky to have you. Just mak sure you have a plan for nemies. It sounds cheesy, but people may hurt you to harm Diana. This -can- put your students at risk," Superman says honestly on that one.

Then she goe on about traveling the world. Finding out about lost cultures, hidden ones and people that slipped through the cracks of history. "What did you find?" he asks, curiously. "Have you recorded your findings?" he says thinking back to the Fortress. How -most- of Kryptons culture is upon on a highly advanced computer. They're going off the word, records and anything connected to a very small handful of people. So, he understands the desire to bring the culture to the masses. To preserve it on a larger scale while celebrating it.
Troia has posed:
"That would be a very poor decision." Donna states rather matter of factly about anyone who would attack her to get at Diana, "I believe it is common for young people of this generation to say 'fuck around and find out'. But I prefer the poetry of Tupac: 'I'm not a killer, but don't push me.'" Both are said with an air of playfulness, which isn't to say she's not taken the advice seriously. "I'll certainly be careful. So as not to put students in danger."

As for what she found?

"There are as many cultures on Earth that have yet to be properly documented as there are streets in Metropolis. Some barely out of the stone age.. Some curiously more advanced in their various societal differences to what we're use to. As far as acceptance, marital practices, et al." She beams a smile, "It was fascinating."
Superman has posed:
"I prefer the Saint Kroeger and using his immortal words, 'You wnt and brought a knife to an all-out gunfight,'" and then he shrugs a litlte bit. "Could always quote Saint John about Saturdays being alright for fighting, if you call every day Saturday," Superman says going with a lyrica tit-for-tat. The playfulness on his face as he continues to move with her. "I feel bad for the person that tries to harm your students."

"Well, there's always stories in different societies. Some have glimpses of societies that have somehow been untouched by technology. Living ghosts, almost. A throwback to times long since past," and then he gives a nod. "You will have to show me these findings," he finds this fascinating, too. Sky blue eyes lighting up at the various findings.
Troia has posed:
"Hah... If every day was Saturday." Donna repeats it, "I like that. Donna Saturday Troy." Said with a wink to her left as she leads Superman towards a sitting area where they can receive some refreshments at the very least. Standing in the doorways seems rather rude, after all. "I don't." Feel bad for them, "They'll feel pretty bad, when I'm done with them." Amazons are not, particularly, well known for their reservations about putting the hurt on someone who deserves it, afterall.

Then she offers a shrug, "Is it terribly different for Themysicira? We've very little technology aside from the most rudamentary and what we've only recently adopted in the last century or so." Motioning to the Consulate. "We still ride horses and use bows in warfare. I suppose, in a manner of speaking, I am empathic to those civilizations who've not yet evolved out of a simpler technological period. Whether intentionally or otherwise... There is-" She holds up a finger, grinning deviously, "- in fact an island off Australia who still fires bows and arrows at all planes passing over head. Fiercely defending their land from potential incursions... I respect that."
