Blink has posed:
Blink wears a dress small enough that she is painting the town pink. Ideologically committed to growing in her powers, she practices another long distance portal, Genosha to Mutant Town USA.

And so into the club she walks. Fixing the hem of her tight little black dress, though there's not much margin for error on that, she takes in the life and activity of the place.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is here at the club. The night is just starting and while there are people here it is not packed at least not yet. There is to be a live band later tonight. It is one of the local bands who have made a bit of name for themselves and have a record deal. They are a mix of humans and mutants, the Drummer one of the more obvious mutants as he has three arms. Sam is sitting at the bar watching over the place, a tall glass of a brown liquid with ice in it beside him.

Blink has posed:
Blink walks by the band setting up, watching them mess with their equipment. Their instruments. Getting ready to get loud. Then with a smile, and a wink at one guy she walks by who gives her a longer look, she keeps on walking and just goes up to the bar.

Coincidentally landing near Sam! She stands, leaning forward a bit, arms against the edge of the bar. "I should drink and see how I can handle it doing my thing after drinking."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie does look over to see who has came in. His brow raises to see someone he knows come in, but not in shock just a little surprised, since had not heard she was in town, but like another teleporter he knows "In town" means a bit different to the young lady than most. He will nod to her and hearing that last bit he will add, "Well, if you decide to try something like that might want to make sure ya have a friend around to help ya get out of some awkward situations in case they come up.

Blink has posed:
Blink has her hip stuck out a bit as she takes a beer dispensed to her, and looks over. "Hey," she smiles. Grabbing her glass, taking a sip. "Ahh. Awkward situations? Landing in the wrong place, you mean?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "You know, end up planning on heading into some office, and step through and your in the men's room three blocks down or something." He offers and says "Not sure how well you recover if your flustered and all."

Blink has posed:
Blink swirls her glass in her hand. Pausing a moment. And then overcoming some shy hesitancy. "I'd have to talk my way out of that." She laughs softly. "Which might be very easy, or it might not be."

Pausing for another sip. "War doesn't care if you're flustered. I have to learn eventually."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "True, it is best if you have a place you can go to almost like reflex to be honest. Someplace you feel safe and at home with. I have a friend, whose powers somewhat like yours, and she has one place Ah swear Ah think she could go in her sleep.

Blink has posed:
Blink nods. "Right. I could get home if I had to." She straightens up, tugging at her dress in vain, but then settles back in again. "But again, if the safety of Homo Superior is at stake, I may have to take a risk. And end up in a men's locker room. But... given how many of ours have died for the cause, that's a pretty mild thing to complain about."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and nods a bit to that and says "Well, hopefully if your on duty you don't plan on being plastered, but Ah can see what you mean there. Luckily drink or not Ah pretty much can crash into things with ease. " Sam would offer her his jacket, but with it being July he aint got one handy.

Blink has posed:
Blink takes another drink. "That's right. If I had a mission, and wer'e going out to Cairo soon I think. Um. Yeah. I woudln't drink on purpose. But let's say Mutant Town gets attacked when I'm 3 beers in? What then?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well first thing is they are going to have to deal with me and a few others, but Ah understand what you mean, but then again an awkward teleport maybe more their problem than yours if Ah remember your fighting style. " He admits to her."

Blink has posed:
Blink finishes her beer, and speaking of, she signals for a second. Taking it, swirling it, and sipping. "My combat style? Am I good enough at combat to have a style? I Guess my style is to have a sharp knife and use my portals." She grins, and looks Sam over a moment. "Very nice of you to worry though."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Well, lots of teleporters do their own thing. You can do somewhat like Magik and move someone else without moving yourself, Ah believe. Something others can't do. And you do it at a bit of a distance right?"

Blink has posed:
Blink tilts her head. "I can portal others yes. I can portal large things. But.. that's all a lot more difficult. I should eventually learn how to get good at it... but for now I'm working on myself. Whcih probably means I should keep pushing my limits." At that, she takes a longer drink of her fresh beer.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smirks a bit and shakes his head a bit to this but Clarice is a grown young lady. He sips his own drink, and says "So, if Ah may ask what are your plans for tonight?"

Blink has posed:
Blink tilts her head. Smiling. She inhales, and starts to pull back. But she forces herself to pause, take her glass, and drink from it a moment until she settles down. "I was going to spend some time here, then go home. So, nothing concrete. You?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well, Ah will probably be here till closing, running the place, and all. Plus with the band coming in tonight, I usually take them to grab some food afterwards catch up with them and all. We have had a few bands get their start here, but they have had the most success."

Blink has posed:
Blink slides al ittle closer. Still leaning over, comfortable, pushing the dress a bit. "Well, sounds like a busy night. You do that every night?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit and shakes his head "Na, not every night, but Ah do try to be here most weekends, unless Ah have other plans. Figure if Ah am going to ask folks to work on the busy nights, Ah should to, plus if there is trouble, Ah am here to help out."

Blink has posed:
Blink grins. "Tell you what. I'll kick back a bit. Come find me when you're done."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to her and says "Have yourself a good time tonight." He says and about then the warm up act starts and people are swept up into the show.
