Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has come by the Rec room this evening, he has a case for a pool stick with him, and bag with some snacks and drinks. He sets the case on the bar as he walks behind it to put some things away.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue walks into the rec room, mostly to see who's around and maybe catch a movie or something. Even for the teachers and X-Men this is a place to unwind and relax. They just keep it alcohol and smoke free! "Heya Sam. What brings you around?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Hey had the day off, so thought I would spend a little bit of time hanging out around the mansion, see what is up, if anyone needed me or such."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue nods. "Gotcha. Well things seem to be runnin' smoothly enough these days. It's good to see ya though." She pauses while looking at the case on the bar counter. "Sorry I ain't been to the club much. Personal life's gotten a bit sticky lately."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and nods a bit to this and says "Want to talk about it?" He asks her, and pulls a couple cans of hard ice tea from the bag offering her one.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue shrugs. "Just workin' some things out with Logan is all. Nothin' bad, just tryin' to make it work. And it does work..sometimes..but I'm often one to just leave without sayin' anything and that upsets him. I'm working on it."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a not to this and says "Yea, you were telling me a bit about your issues with the team the other day." He says and pulls out a bowl and opens a back of chex mix and pours it into the bowl before sitting it on the counter.

Rogue has posed:
"Slowly but surely it seems to all be settlin' into place." Rogue says as she takes a seat at the bar and grabs a pinch of the chex mix. "Like there ain't nothin' wholly wrong or anything. It's more me workin' on myself still. Which is a bit harder than I would like to admit."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will grab himself a bit before moving to the pool table still in talking distance as he starts to rack the balls up. "Well we all have to work on ourselves sometimes hon, but your doing pretty good from what Ah can see."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue nods her head, watching as he racks the pool balls up. "Oh I know. And Logan isn't without his own faults, and he's workin' on them too. Even so, I think we make a pretty decent couple." She munches on a bit more mix. "You plannin' to play by yerself?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Well, if you want to join your welcome to, if not Ah will just play through it. Find it helps me keep the whole bouncing things away pictured better in my mind.

Rogue has posed:
"I think I might just watch for the time being." Rogue says as she slides off the stool and goes around the bar so she can pour herself a soda. "Somethin' to drink, Sam?" A pause. "Am I rememberin' right that some people call you Kentucky, or is that just a Gambit name for you?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and holds up his own can of hard ice tea. He then moves to make the shot, and says "Occasionally someone, but then again, some call me hayseed as well, just depends on the person and such. Ah aint bothered by most, Ah mean, more often than not Ah call Danni, Chief, or Rahne Firetop."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue nods and chuckles. "Gotcha. I don't think Kentucky really fits you. Dunno why." Watching him break the rack while she sips on her soda. "Then again you've always just been Sam or Sammy to me. You got a nickname for me, or am I not eligible for one?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Not one come to mind, but then again, you were part of the X-men when Ah was just a new mutant, so was always trying to show you guys proper respect. Well most of you, Kitty at times may have gotten a bit less than she deserved."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue shrugs. "I mean Rogue is technically a nickname in itself, but only a few people have the right to call me my real name." She says this and then looks around the room some. "Course now you're all grown up. Run a club, come by and check on us still. You're a proper gentleman, Sam. Why hasn't a girl snatched you up yet?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shrugs a bit and says "Well to be honest, Ah aint really looked much since Alexis, but it might be time Ah should get out there again, Ah don't know." He admits, as he takes a shot and lines up for the 2 ball.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue nods. "Ah. Right. Sorry... I didn't mean nothin' harmful..." Saying this much while coming back around to sit, drink, munch and watch him play pool against himself. "I mean, I also think it's good to not force it. I just...somehow forgot you had any sort of recent breakup."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "shrugs a bit and says "Well it has been over a year, not sure if it is still considered recent, just was the first time, ever lived with someone and got to the point where we were considering marriage.""

Rogue has posed:
"That's a pretty important part in someone's life, yeah.." Rogue should know, she and Logan talk about it off and on all the time. "Maybe it's been enough time then. I just also believe that when it's right, it'll happen. I just think you deserve someone."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "Who knows Ah may go to the store later tonight and meet someone, but Ah aint specially looking right now. Did have a kiss from Starfire not to long ago, but that was more just to grind it to Berto."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue raises a brow. "Now there's some tea I'm not familiar with. What does kissing you have to do with Berto?" Asking as she munches a bit more, her eyes going to the door after she shoots a text message off.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles and says "Well, Ah was just wanting to get a picture of me and her together when she came into the bar. So Berto got the whole look who you missed, and who I got to hang out with. The kiss was her idea."

Rogue has posed:
"Her idea, huh? Is Starfire seeing someone otherwise? Are you not interested in her?" Rogue probes more because this is more interesting than watching him play pool alone.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "It did not feel like her hitting on me, Ah know it sounds a bit odd, but felt more like just something she does.""

Rogue has posed:
"Just goes around kissing random guys? I dunno her, so I wouldn't know..." Rogue chuckles and then looks over the table to see how the shots are all lines up. What possible ones are there.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well she said that is sorta how she learned to speak languages, actually made me think of your own abilities in a way that way.""

Rogue has posed:
Rogue lifts a brow and glances to him. "If only that was all my powers did. Cause me to learn languages from other people..."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and moves to take the next shot, setting it up to be decent for the next one "No offence ment, but ment absorbing something through contact. Hers only does that where yours does much more. Honestly your powers are much more useful in that way. She depends on her other abilities more. If she had no others would be like Doug having to kiss a computer."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue chuckles and shakes her head. "No harm done, Sam. It's fine. I like my powers most days, especially now that I'm gettin' real good at controlling them. I suppose this Starfire person is just one for the books. But maybe you'll meet the right one soon enough."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie misses his next shot with a "Darn" He moves to line it up again "Well Ah guess when it is ment to be it will be, trying to force it aint going to do no one any good."
