Magneto has posed:
Magneto settles into a chair tucked away in the corner of the room, his gaze fixed on the empty space before him. With each passing moment, his thoughts drift back to the recent gathering, pondering the decisions made and the paths ahead. As he awaits his daughter Lorna's arrival, he reflects on the trust he has placed in her, appointing her as one of the leaders of the Brotherhood. In her, he sees not just his offspring, but a capable and trusted ally, ready to shoulder the responsibilities that lie ahead.

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane has not visited Magneto in a while, having some personal issues come up. But with Juggernaut popping up everywhere and someone causing trouble for the Xmen, it's time she was on the same page as her father.

She steps into the now familiar bar once more, not super keen on this place or the distances she has to travel but it seems dear old daddy has business here so it'll have to make do.

Spying him in some curved table she makes a beeline for him, looking tired but ready for business. "Hello father.." she greets, not terribly warmly but not hostile either. "What's the latest news?"

Magneto has posed:
"Well," Magneto begins, his voice carrying a tone of contemplation. "The absence of news troubles me. While human the saying goes 'no news is good news,' in our world, it often signifies looming storms or hidden threats."

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane smirks and shrugs, taking a casual seat across from him. "I'll take it over constant chaos, at least it lets me keep on top of other recent issues." she peers around, waving down a server for a good stuff drink.

"Perhaps we need to be more proactive, send out hunting parties to search for that group who were trying to find those pieces. And perhaps we should be searching for those pieces ourselves instead of holding onto fakes and hoping they hunt us down first."

Magneto has posed:
Magneto ponders her suggestion, nodding slowly. "Indeed, that seems to be the most prudent choice."

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane nods. "Right, So if you have any clues as to their whereabouts, or where the next relics might be located, we should split up and search those places in small but coordinated groups." she nods, taking a sip of cider.

Magneto has posed:
"I have already learnt of their apparent whereabouts," Magneto replies. "The Segment of Death was here in Egypt, now moved to Genosha. The Segment of War is supposed to be in Tibet. The Segment of Pestilence in India and the Segment of Famine in Greece.

However, members of Clan Akkaba were in Madripoor tracking down one of the segments. I am not sure which piece of the staff they were following. I suspect one of the three remaining segments have already been recovered.

And that is the problem we have with searching those places. One of them is going to be fruitless. We just don't know which one."

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane sighs, shaking her head. "Then we should split up and search all locations. Let's see..Who do we have at our disposal? Mystique, Tabitha, myself, Havok..?" she hesitates to mention Juggernaut for some reason. "Just to scout out. Once we confirm the next location still has a relic we should call for back up..I don't know if the Xmen would assist us or this would be much easier."

Magneto has posed:
Magneto frowns and leans back in his chair. It seems that his daughter is going to go along with the plan of investigating each location regardless of what he says.

"Well, there are your siblings, Wanda and Pietro. They should be more than capable of leading a group of their own. If you recall I did ask you to form a team of mutants as a part of expanding the Brotherhood. Did you manage to accomplish that?"

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane sighs again, shaking her head slowly. "Things between me and the Xmen are..Shaky. They don't trust me thanks to a fanatic who has been pretending to be me and causing chaos in my name. For that matter, a good deal of people in mutant town also distrust me. I need to clear my name and capture this Polaris wannabe before I can win the trust of anyone.However, I have been considering seeking help from members of the hellfire club."

Magneto has posed:
"Well, I can make as much of the Hellfire resources available to you as possible as my position as the White King," Magneto replies. "However, I had not heard about an imposter roaming around. It seems the affairs in Egypt have kept me out of the loop.

Hopefully Shaw has not tried to replace me in my absence. That would be the last thing I would need right now. If he hasn't, then as my daughter, hopefully the members of the club will be somewhat reasonable.

If you are not able to recruit any X-Men to our cause, I may need to speak with Xavier myself. He would not be willing to see Clan Akkaba succeeding in their plans.

Failing that, there others I may be able to call on for their support. Although they are certainly less scrupulous individuals. I have tried to distance myself from them after taking over Genosha, but desperate times call for desperate measures."

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane nods and frowns feeling..Disappointed in herself. "I will do my best. I am not well acquainted with members of the club.." in fact she doesn't really enjoy spending her time around the wealthy stuck up and slightly disturbed members of the HFC, however she doesn't want to disappoint her father either. "I am sure I can gain the confidence of some people there. And once Alex and I can find and corner..'Magnetrix..' I am confident will win over the trust of more mutants in mutant town." she gives a little reassuring smile. "Don't worry about me, I can handle this, just tell me where and when you want Alex and myself to investigate one of those locations."

Magneto has posed:
Magneto nods, "I will be in touch once I have reached out to my contacts."

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane frowns, "One more thing, be careful of Juggernaut, I've seen him in the news recently stirring up trouble. I know he's a mercenary who has hired his services to you, but he's unpredictable and I don't think he would be entirely loyal."

Magneto has posed:
Magneto regards Lorna's words carefully nodding. He had wished to keep Marko Cain on his side. After all, the man that calls himself the Juggernaut, is one of the few who could pose a real threat to him. If Lorna is telling him to not trust him then he had better keep an eye out when around him.

Magneto then utters one word, "Understood."

Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane nods, "It would be good to have someone like him on our side but he'll always offer his services to the higher bidder. Be careful. I will do my best to recruit more members. I won't let you down..Father.." Lorna doesn't usually address him as 'father' but perhaps she is finally learning to see him as such.
