Catching Up with a Firebug

Location:	Angelica Jones' Apartment, Morrisania
Synopsis:	Two friends catch up and say some much needed things. Plus, Logan tries to convince this old friend to see Chuck.

Firestar has posed:
One of a few people that has a key, Angelica has told him multiple times to come in. Maybe knock if he smells more than one person, but otherwise come in. She is standing in the kitchen right now, not wearing the protective gear so she is probably alone. Instead a pair of denim cutoffs and a loose fitting black t-shirt.

She is currently cutting up fruit for some recipe and listening to 70's rock music at a low volume so she can hear folks if they do knock.

Wolverine has posed:
Logan flags Angelica down with a simple message, "Got to talk." Honestly, his texting is a little more eloquent than the spoken word. Still, he will flag the young mutant down. Logan will go to her place when she tells him to. A knock will come at the door and he waits to be let in. Yes, Logan is courteous unless he has a key to get in. Then he treats the place like his home. It's a weird sense of courtesy.

Firestar has posed:
She goes to the door and opens it,"Come in. Before you go, get a key out of that side table." She indicates the one by the couch,"You arranged this and probably nobody is going to be here too often. Sam sometimes, Tabitha once in a while, and Spidey once in a blue moon. You know their scents I think."

She grabs a beer from the refrigerator and slides it down the counter to him,"So what do I owe the pleasure of your company friend. It's been a while and I've missed you."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan looks at her oddly."What the Hell happened darlin'?" he asks knowing people are gone for reasons. All of that bugs him. It makes his heart go out for her. So, Logan will offer a hug. "Been too long darlin'. Figured I'd give ya some news., Somethin' ya might wanna hear," he moves toward the couch then looks back at Angelica.

Firestar has posed:
She shakes her head and sighs,"I don't know. We drifted apart some I guess. We just...stopped. I don't think it ever was announced, just stopped. She is in the wind."

She takes the offered hug and sighs,"It has been too long yes. Tell me something good." She follows after him and opts to let him have a brew on his own right now. Hostess is important. Once he settles, she takes a seat too, turning on the couch towards him to talk easier.

Wolverine has posed:
"Chuck's back," Logan says and just lets those three simple words sink in. It's a lot to say despite being so little. Leaning into the couch, he looks toward angelica to see how she reacts. There may be a bit of emotion here, or none at all.

Firestar has posed:
She takes a minute to process,"Who is..." then the light comes on. She raises a brow,"That is good to hear. I was at the mansion not too long ago. You probably scented me in the kitchen with Sam. He invited me to dinner, just ended up being there. I didn't see anyone other than him. I crashed in his room, but he is a gentleman, sleeping on his couch."

She hmms softly,"I should go and see him. Just to make sure there is a bridge. I have spent a lot of time with Tabitha lately and Betsy a little too, but I have only been there with Sam that one time."

Wolverine has posed:
"He's tryin' to get things back together. It's him. He's tryin'," Lognan has a small bit of hope in his voice. Chuck has had a positive effect. "You gotta see him. I think it could do everyone some good. Well, every mutant at the mansion at any point," Logan's just honest here. His ocean blues slip toward Firestar.

Firestar has posed:
She nods finally and replies,"All right. I will come and see him." She winks and adds,"I have always known, even when I was with the Hellions, that he meant well for everyone, mutant and non mutant alike." She shakes her head,"So I will get there with you or with Sam. I was never allowed alone time in some of the places even living there, so I would rather have an escort for the time being and not /that/ kind of escort." Clearly teasing at the end.

Wolverine has posed:
Logan gives a chuckle as he watches her reaction. The ocean blue eyes take in that wink and he shakes his head. "You could get in there, talk to him. Maybe figure out a few things. Lord knows he's tryin' to help everyone there," he knows that some people have lost their way with the mansion. So, he is trying to bring them back. Chuck may make a difference.

Firestar has posed:
A nod and she tells him,"I am happy here though. It is closer to the college and I don't feel like I am under foot. I will talk to him, make sure all the bridges are there, but Jean was right about one thing. It is too much for me to try and stand with the X-Men or X-Force and still stand with the League. GIRL and the League is probably as much as I can keep up two with my college load."

Wolverine has posed:
"I know you wouldn't live out there," Logan says honestly. "I just think some bad calls were mad. Chuck can right some wrongs," that always bugged Logan. Angelica needed this time away. Honestly, she found part of herself. That made Logan happy. Still, he is hoping that metaphorical bridges are mended.

Firestar has posed:
A nod and she says,"So long as there won't be trouble, I will show up. I just don't want to draw attention or cause friction. He can right the wrongs I think. I am not angry or anything, but I want to make sure things are good with me and the X-Men in general."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan looks at Angelica. He wants more than that, but to Logan the current outcome is best. He couldn't ask for more. That's a realistic side to him. Angelica is an odd blindspot to him. The man knows this. Still, he can hope. "Best a guy can ask for."

Firestar has posed:
She smiles a little and she leans over to kiss his cheek,"Logan. I love you. I am always going to love you. If you asked me to come back, I would consider it. I just didn't care for being a visitor in the place I was supposed to live. If I wanted to use the Danger Room or even go downstairs, I had to have you, Jimmy, or Tabitha...well any X-Man to go down there. Sort of felt like 'You're welcome, but...'."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan smirks, "I love ya, too," ocean blue eyes watch her for a moment. "I only want ya to come back if ya want it. A cage wit' gold bars is still a cage. That's what it would feel like if ya didn't want to be there," he says honestly on that one. That guilt would eat him up.

Firestar has posed:
"Maybe when this lease is up I will think about it." she tells hims softly,"I would like to be able to feel a part of things, but I just don't. Friends, I love you all. Some more than others. Some maybe a little less than others. Still." She waves around,"I am happy. I am comfortable. Sometimes I wish I had joined with Betsy. I have spent a little time with her. She is an amazing woman, but I wouldn't give up the League."

Wolverine has posed:
"All anyone can ask," Logan says honestly and then he nods. "I get where yer comin' from," even if Logan doesn't fully agree with it. He respects Angelica's opinion and position. "I ain't gonna press," Logan speaks firmly on that one. He doesn't want to push too hard.

Firestar has posed:
"For now, you know you're stuck with me. You know you always have a place to crash. I know if I need you I can come to you. I know where you live." she tells him,"You've been like the father I should have had, but didn't. You'll always be part of my life, even if it being annoyed by my antics."
