A Visit to the Cruiser

Synopsis:	Lydda, Lar, and Kara hang out on the cruiser.

Mon-El has posed:
    Tonight, Lar has decided to invite Kara to come hang out on the Legion cruiser for a bit. She has been here before, but not too often and especially not recently. So he is sitting in the crew lounge, waiting for her arrival and in the meantime keeping tabs on important events in the sector on a datapad.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers is eager to be aboard the star cruiser once more. She doesn't even remember the last time or two she was here, but both times she was dealing with some emergency or other. Maybe this time she can actually enjoy the scenery. "So..All quiet on the star front tonight I hope?" she jokes lightly as she arrives, peering out the windows. Stars have always fascinated her.

Mon-El has posed:
    "As quiet as it'll ever be I guess." Lar chuckles, looking up at Kara when she arrives. Even though she hasn't been here in a while, some of the sights might feel familiar to her anyway. The exotic plants, entertainment from the future of many planets including Earth, and the doors to the gym and training simulator. "How've you been, Kara?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers smiles and shrugs. "Been alright, busy with school and work and my boss is a real 'treat'" she shrugs and chuckles, stepping towards the window. "But it's okay, things have been quiet, peaceful...Maybe a little too peaceful."

Kara nods to him. "How about you, Lar? Not about to run off to another faraway planet again I hope?" she chuckles but might just be serious underneath that smile.

Mon-El has posed:
    "Oh yeah? A real 'treat' huh?" Lar smirks slightly. "Do tell." he asks, patting the seat next to him on the lounge sofa.

    "Nope, at least not at the moment. But you never know, right? If I do though, maybe this time I'll see if you'd like to join me."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers shrugs. "Oh she's pretty strict, kinda mean...Tries to find the flaw in everyone's work but especially likes to pick on me. I guess I'm the new girl so it's to be expected."

She smiles, sitting next to him, "How about you? Earth must seem so boring after all your exciting travels..I can't even imagine the places you'vee been!"

Mon-El has posed:
    "You should try melting her shoes to the floor or something." Lar jokes. "Then she'll have to walk around barefooted."

    "Actually, Earth isn't the most boring place I've been. I don't even know what the most boring place I've been is, honestly. Oh, right the Phantom Zone. But that's mostly just agonizing."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers laughs, shaking her head. "Only if I want to lose my job..Or intern rather. It might turn into a really job in a few months but only if I behave.." she chuckles.

"Oh don't get me wrong, I love earth, it's beautiful, nostalgic, even if a bit backwards compared to Krypton but..I'm curious to explore the galaxy, see other planets, other stars.."

Night Girl has posed:
A lady doesn't sweat. A lady glows. A hero, however, sweats. Especially after a round in the hard light gym with high gravity and sunlight settings so Lydda cant' rely on the powers her father gave her. Thus it is that a very sweaty Lydda comes out of the gym, deciding she's going to use the cleansing machine back in her own quarters since nobody else was on the cruiser to catch her in this condition.

Except, of course that there are other people in the cruiser, and indeed right outside where she's exiting from.

"Oh...!" Lydda freezes on seeing Mon-El and Kara. "Mon." Then the surprised (and vaguely embarrassed) look vanishes from her face. "Kara!" She steps forward as if to hug the fellow living-in-the-past Legionairre in greeting before stopping, wrinkling her nose, and deciding not to inflict that on Kara. "How nice to see you! I'd hug you but I don't want you to get something worse than kryptonite on you!"

Mon-El has posed:
    "Oh, well in that case you probably should just suck it up for a little bit longer, at least." Lar backpedals. "And then once you have a real job, you can do it and blame it on your coworker's bubblegum."

    "Sounds like a plan." He smiles to her. "Next time the cruiser picks up a distress call, I'll take you with me. Unless you're already busy saving Metropolis or something." he winks.

    Lar turns to Lydda when she emerges from the simulator, wrinkling his onse slightly. "Oh, hey Lydda. How was training? You uh...worked up quite the sweat there."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles and nods. "Sounds like a plan on both counts. I love earth but sometimes it can get a bit too quiet. I'd love to see more of the galaxy, but I do have a favor to ask you.."

Before she can elaborate, Lydda steps out and hugs her. Eyes brighten and she chuckles, returning the hug. "Heyy! Long time no see, how you been?"

Night Girl has posed:
"I've been ... well ... separated," Lydda says, frowning. "Whoever did this to us put some of us back into the time stream later, so I missed out on everything the Legion has been doing." She grins then. "But that did bring me into the good state of everybody being glad to see me because they've forgotten how strict I am with training."

With herself, it seems, as well as other Legion types.

"I'm ... sorry about the smell. I thought I was on the cruiser alone."

Lydda takes a deep breath, then visibly regrets it as she hastily expels it. "How someone with super senses can stand being within a hundred light years of me right now is amazing! But how about you? How has the 21st been treating you? I always loved your visits to the 30th. Always so eventful!"

Mon-El has posed:
    "Sure Kara, what is it?" he asks when the Girl of Steel mentions a favor.

    He chuckles at Lydda. "It's not as bad as you think it is. And it's been all right. What about you? How have you been adjusting? It must seem...weird to you. It's kind of weird to me too, honestly."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers smirks, "Oh you're fine, you were working out..And it's good to see more Legion members after a long absence...Heey maybe we can can work out together some time! Not many gyms on earth that can give me a real challenge."

Glancing at Lar she smiles. "Well I have a friend, a League member whose just dying to explore space. Think I could let her see this ship sometime?"

Night Girl has posed:
"League?" Lydda looks a bit confused, showing her inexperience in the 21st century. "Is there another Legion in the 21st?"

She sighs and looks at Lars. "You know more about the 21st century than I do. Do you know this League? Are they fine for travelling interstellar?"

She looks back at Kara. "And yes, we should work out together, and maybe spar. It can't be often that you find someone strong enough to spar with. Superboy, Lars ..." Her voice trails off. "And that's about it?"

Mon-El has posed:
    "Yeah, we totally should. We've got red solar projectors." Lar offers, winking.

    "I'm assuming you're talking about the Justice League of America?" he asks, glancing back at Kara. "And sure, if you trust her, I do."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers smiles and nods, "Justice League, I guess I'm still a fairly new recruit though. So I dint get access to everything." she chuckles, "Red solar projectors huh? Sounds fun! Count me in.." she sighs, "Havent seen Superboy in a while, let's hope he's staying out of trouble." she beams, "I trust Firestar, she's a good person. Would love to introduce her to you all."

Night Girl has posed:
"Well, as long as we stay in the shadows, I can spar with you straight up, Kara, without projectors. I like to test myself at all levels." Her mild neurosis at being relegated to "substitute" status again shows. "All stops out to normal person in battle. I want to be the best hero I can be."

She pauses.

"But I want to explore the 21st century sometime with someone who knows it. Could this Firestar perhaps do that as well? We take her out into space; then she introduces us...well me...to the 21st century Earth?"

Mon-El has posed:
    "Cool, can't wait to meet her." Lar says, nodding when Kara mentions Firestar.

    He frowns at the mention of Supoerboy as well. "Yeah I haven't seen him either, I hope he's all right."

    "Hey I like that idea." he says when Lydda mentions Firestar giving them a tour. "You and her probably know a lot more about 21st century Earth than we do."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers nods, "Sure! I could show you earth and introduce you to Firestar and she can become an exchange student up here too!" she chuckles, "It'll be fun!"

Nodding to Lar she glances at her watch, "Cool thanks I'll let her know..I gotta head back to earth but it was good seeing you both again!"

Night Girl has posed:
This time Lydda doesn't worry about the sweat. She steps up to hug Kara. "It was really nice to see you. We should totally go and dispense justice together! I've had some fun already but it was all lightweight stuff. I want to show my value to the Earth with serious opposition!"

She separates and glances over to Lar. "Works with you too. Sparring. Going to dispense justice together. I want to catch up to those who got here before me."
