Dinner without random interruptions

Location:	Angelica Jones' Apartment, Morrisania
Synopsis:	Sam and Angelica have dinner and watch a movie.

Firestar has posed:
Angelica invited Sam to come by. She makes dinner this time as he did last time. She calls his family and gets some of his favorites and the how to make them. Will she do his momma proud? Maybe. Maybe not.

She tells him the door is open and just come in. When he arrives she is in the kitchen making dinner dressed in vintage jeans and black t-shirt. Barefoot.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has brought flowers and wine. It is always good to bring gifts when your having dinner at a friends place. He hangs his jacket up calling out "Hey where you at?"

Firestar has posed:
She stands up from getting a bowl. The kitchen area is right inside the door, but the pesky counter island. She looks at him and smirks,"Right here." she replies. A wink and then back to cooking.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit and says "Well hey there," He walks around the counter and sniffs the air "Something smells good anything I can do to help?"

Firestar has posed:
A soft chuckle and she replies,"Make sure I don't mess up one of your mother's recipes. The girls said you love all this stuff. I figured if I am cooking I might as well make something you like, not thinking that making something you mom might have made isn't real smart."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie offers a grin and says "Hey, Ah am sure you will do alright." He will look over things and says "Looks good so far."

Firestar has posed:
"Yeah. Well I hope so." she replies and hands him a plate and silver ware. She nods to the food and tells him,"It's as ready as it will ever be. Take your life into your own hands." she teases lightly.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles as she has made fried chicken, tatersalad, and biscuits. "It looks really good." He grins and says "Where we eating tonight?"

Firestar has posed:
"If you want we can eat in the living room. There are TV trays and the like. We can watch some movie and talk. That or we can eat in the dining room and just talk. Since we're such social butterflies I am sure that would be interesting.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Well lets try the dining room, we can always move if you find me too boring." He offers her a grin and will sit his food down on the table, but does pull out her chair for her, before sitting himself

Firestar has posed:
Once everything is situated, Angelica goes to sit down. Not sure if the wine is for the meal or dessert, she leaves that to his discretion. She has the typical water, tea, and Pepsi for drinking otherwise,"Oh if I found you too boring you wouldn't have been invited." she replies and settles into the chair with a,"Thank you."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has tea with the meal, if your going for old home type this is the most likely. "So, what have you been up to lately?"

Firestar has posed:
She takes tea with her goodies too. She makes sure everything looks ok and they both have what they want. After that she takes up her fork and she hmms,"College mostly. I spoke with Spidey last night and did my monthly Watchtower duty after that."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "I still want to make it up there sometime. How is your classes going pretty good?"

Firestar has posed:
"I will talk with Diana and see if I can bring you. Probably you don't want to be up there when Batman is. He is like military about things." she explains,"Of course there are camera's everywhere and I swear he is too. College is good. Classes are there."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Well, Ah have had to deal with Cable, so Ah know a bit about military types." He says "Tastes good." He says trying the food

Firestar has posed:
She takes a bite of her chicken and starts chewing thoughtfully. She nods and replies,"Emma was never military. It was something...else." she explains,"Alpha Flight and company weren't overly militarily minded, but maybe a little."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "The proff and Magneto were both interesting, but Ah honestly belive having the three different ones helped me learn more about how to help people.

Firestar has posed:
"Never close your mind to a way to solve a problem." she offers with a shrug. Another bite of chicken and she frowns thoughtfully, judging the flavor more this time,"There is no one way to do things. Xavier's dream is probably the best we could ask for, but it doesn't always see things needed. Magneto is wrong most of the time, but if he was all wrong, who would follow him? I don't care how charismatic he is."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and says "He at times can see the way the professor does, the sad thing most people don't really realize is that honestly his path is most often somewhat taken from fear. Not fear for himself but for us."

Firestar has posed:
"Sometimes I wonder if some childhood trauma messed with his psyche or something. I don't know. Nothing like the legendary son of Xavier, but maybe he's a little broken inside. He does seem to be less concerned about himself and yet ready to be placed on a throne.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "When he is on the right side of things he is a good man, but when he lets his thoughts go to the extreme, well it is the extreme." He eats a bit of his food, and says "And then Cable, he is the whole military commando group type."

Firestar has posed:
"As I hear it, Cable has his own extremes. I think someone said it had something to do with him being a man out of time or something." she replies,"Magneto. It is hard to see him without thinking of the times I have faced off against him, like with Spidey and Bobby."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Ah can understand, it is like Ah have a hard time thinking of Emma trying to help, even after teaching Paige."

Firestar has posed:
She nods,"Oh yes. The idea of Emma being on the side of angels makes me twitch." she agrees,"We've buried the proverbial hatchet, but the handle is still sticking out I fear. I don't care to fight her, but I don't know if she holds the same honestly or not. Time will tell."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods in agreement, and says "Well lets hope so, heck at one point I would never have thought Jimmy would be on our side of things.

Firestar has posed:
"At one point I wasn't on your side either." she reminds him and takes a drink,"Just like Jimmy. Hellions. The old days." Note there wasn't a mention of the 'good' old days.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and says "Well, Ah might be a bit biased, as thought of ya more as the hot girl than someone Ah was trying to fight."

Firestar has posed:
She shakes her head and sighs,"You're hopeless Guthrie." she takes a bite from the sides and considers,"At least you didn't say the hot girl you were hoping to get between the sheets." The younger Angelica might not talk so bold, but things change and they have known each other a good long time.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smirks a bit and says "Na, that sounds a lot more Berto than me, well more how he might be thinking not that he would admit it."

Firestar has posed:
She shakes her head and sighs,"My two knights." She winks and they finish a meal together. After that they can go to the living room and watch something funny or something sappy. No horror thanks. She's dealt with some of that recently and maybe she tells him a little about that. Maybe not.

When the night grinds on, she gives him the option to sleep there. She makes up the couch and then goes to her room to study for a while before sleeping herself.
