- Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spri-
Oh dear. Right time period. Wrong story. While it's been kept reasonably under wraps by neither confirming nor denying which musical's rights were secured, the presence of one Nick Drago appearing at one of the higher end hotels in Paris is starting to provide clarifying details. Along with the blocking off of the area around the Place de la Concorde and rumors of a Guillotine being set up there-
Well it's likely NOT Jekyll and Hyde.
After a long evening of doing several takes of a lengthy sword fight between the chief antagonist and the two primary protagonists (Two on one... NOT FAIR!) it is time to call it a ni-morning and go get some rest before they get repeat the same process the next night.
By the time Nick got out of his Citizen Chauvelin costume and turned it in, a glance about causes for him to sigh.
Yeah people were too tired to wait. Oh well. The hotel's within walking distance at least. Adding to this, despite his now homeless styled looking butt heading towards one of the fancier hotels in the area, it shouldn't draw too much attention to him for any stray fans who may be for SOME WEIRD REASON still be in the general area.
Easy Peasy.
- Batman has posed:
Watching. Studying. Always something happening.
Eyes follow Nick's passage from the edges of an alley way. What would happen if the wrong person looked up and saw him. Not likely.
Making his way back down the alley, the bat who would be a man melts to nothing. Another block up he mutters into the darkness,"You seem to be gaining popularity Drago." The sound just above a whisper, low in tone and not quite a growl.
- Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Ah yes. The accursed direction on which to cast someone's gaze. UP. Does Nick look up? Well. Occasionally. He's had more reason to than most. But as for tonight that's not the case. There's not even a prickle upon the skin to so much as give the performer any additional wariness than he normally would have while walking at night.
But when the whisper seems to address him, the musician's head cants to the side. Hands slide out of his pocket, freeing them from obstruction as he turns, his hearing helping him direct his glance toward the area of shadow from where the comment came from.
Well. At least this person didn't call him Mikey.
"Considering the pull in Italy, I suppose it shouldn't be too surprising some of that would cross the border." Nick replies back, voice betraying a hint of cautious curiousity. He doesn't make any motion to move closer to the voice's source "...Shy type?"
- Batman has posed:
The shadows move and he raises his head enough that his mouth and jaw are obvious for a moment. His arms shift enough to make the cape fall open revealing the bat.
From under the cowl his voice continues,"Some might say shy. Not many, but some." Giving the other enough time to register him, he steps back in the shadows once more,"I saw you earlier. Are you going to be in country for a while yet or will you be returning home soon?"
Not unfriendly, just not overly friendly either. His cape falls closed once more and he waits for the response.
- Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As the shadow moves, Nick steps back once. Nope. He may not be some master spy type but he's aware in this situation that maintaining distance is ideal.
Well unless there's a gun involved but if that's the case it won't really matter either way.
While his feet may have said nuh-uh with that one step, his eyes take the new visual to start the processing. The musician's brows furrow. "...huh."
He knows some bats migrate, but this is somewhat ridiculous.
"...hi."
Nick rubs an eye, once more seeing shadow when the Bat moves back. "You sa-" He shakes his head, "...not even the weirdest conv- Well I'm here for the rest of the shoot so barring a break for the fourth, weather delays, and any more governmental red tape. About a month...ish. Why? Is there something I got to worry about?"
- Batman has posed:
Considering the answer for a time the man in the shadows is silent. After a time he moves to something on the famed utility belt. He produces something akin to a phone or two way radio. He places it on the ground and step back again,"Perhaps. Perhaps not. I am still assessing the situation."
Once more he settles into the darkness comfortably,"I have heard that the League of Shadows are looking for an actor. Someone apparently decided the actor in question doesn't need to live anymore. That will provide a direct connection. If I am able I will answer. If not, do that thing that seems impossible to people anymore. Leave a message."
He is quiet for a moment and he looks above as he takes something from his belt,"I suspect it is your leading lady, but no proof. For now, I'd say be careful who you trust."
- Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Oh great. Freebies.
And not just any type of freebies. The 'secret organization you've never heard of before' may or may not want one of your costars dead.' freebie. It's a collector's item!
"The League of what?" Nick sort of repeats, looking to the item laid down on the ground.
Despite the maybe so maybe not death threat to a coworker, Nick seems to be processing it pretty well. It must be all that Gotham water he drank as a kid. "That seems like a bit of overkill if someone doesn't like another person's acting."
He doesn't make a move for the device just yet, instead looking towards the speaking shadows. Manners. After all.
"...Do you need a copy of the schedule?"
- Batman has posed:
Shaking his head he replies,"It is probably better you don't know too much. Just take my word they are among the best assassins in the world. They make a lief of it."
He raises a hand to the air and a soft 'pop' sound prededes a hook and cable firing to the roof above,"I suspect one of your actors was an assassin or else exposed one to the world and risked their anonymity."
His hand moves to his belt and he replies,"No I have that already. Keep your eyes open. The men across the way your security?"
- Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Not knowing enough can be just as dangerous." Nick comments. Not a complaint. Not a whine. Just a statement of fact.
To the mention of men across the way, Nick turns his head to look in the indicated direction. "Ye-"
Fwoomph
"-s"
Turning his head to find the lack of presence in the shadows, Nick closes his eyes for a moment before crouching down to take the device.
Pocketing it, Nick turns, making his way to the hotel.
