Date of Scene: 27 July 2017
Location: Kitchen - Xavier's School
Synopsis: Havok looks a bit lost... like he's been gone for years?!?
Thanks to: Havok for being awesome!
Cast of Characters: Havok, Moonstar

Havok has posed:
Alex is found in the kitchen opening various cabinets - searching for something. Several doors remain open as he's already searched those. Currently he wears hiking boots, jeans, and a black unstable molecule t-shirt. His back is to the door and he appears quite flustered or annoyed by his body language.

Moonstar has posed:
Well, it isn't like classes have started just yet, so Dani actually was just walking into the kitchen. She tilts her head towards Alex, noticing he's having some sort of problem, so just asks up front, "Hey, Mister Summers... something I can help with?" She can't help but smile, just a little bit.

Havok has posed:
Hearing her voice, his head turns sharply and he seems startled. When his blue eyes land upon her, he immediately gives pause. Though the furrow of his brow suggests he's annoyed with something, "I can't remember where the bowls are." He moves to the next cabinet, he's only been through 5 so far (top and bottom) and he's actually closing on the bowls in a few cabinet choices. But he definitely seems lost.

Moonstar has posed:
Dani's currently wearing a denim short-sleeved button up shirt, along with jeans and socks. She hrms, "Bowls should be the upper left, right by the fridge there." She tilts her head, giving Alex a curious look since he's seemed to have forgotten that... though she doesn't say anything about it yet.

Havok has posed:
Moving to the indicated cabinet, Alex opens, finds the bowls and pulls one down. Then he looks at the drawers. "How about a spoon?" - Definitely lost. But then, he did fall out of a portal last night and upon their return home he faded into the background.

Moonstar has posed:
Dani moves forward, and pulls open the drawer near the bowl drawer, and looks at Alex curiously, "Right here... um, Mister Summers, are you feeling alright?" She gives him a cautious look, "I mean, we didn't do any sort of major kitchen shuffling while you were gone, which wasn't all /that/ long. Right?" Because, well, Dani isn't unfamiliar with time weirdness, she's lived in the mansion long enough for that at least.

Havok has posed:
He pulls the spoon out, places it into the bowl and sits it down on the countertop. There's a moment of reflection as he processes the question. His backside is placed against the counter and the heels of his hands against the cool marble. He looks down at the floor and says, "It's complicated. Apparently I fell into an alternate reality 3 weeks ago. But I've been there for about 6 years. At least that's how it was translated to me."

Moonstar has posed:
There's a blink from Dani at that, and then a wry look, "Normally I'd say that's crazy, but you're looking at a Cheyenne-turned-Valkyrie, so..." She shrugs a bit, "Definitely explains why you can't find anything here." Okay, there's a million questions that being in an alternate reality brings, so Dani starts with the basics, "What was different about it?"

Havok has posed:
Alex looks up, looks over Dani and thinks about the night before. "The world was a lot like this one. But different people and life events. Like Xavier wasn't around. Magneto was. Scott was dead. I had a son named Scotty. I was married to a girl that looked like Jean - who got possessed by a demon and went insane trying to destroy the world...." He stops his summary of confused accounts and scoffs with a shake of his head. "Insane...."

Moonstar has posed:
Dani whistles a bit, "Yeah, sounds like something went seriously sideways there." She pauses, then says, "Talk to anyone about it yet? Well, aside from a nosy-soon-to-be-senior?" She leans back on the counter, looking at Alex with a bit of concern.

Havok has posed:
"Last night, when we got back. I found Scott and the Professor. Xavier said that I need to take time to ease back into things. Nice and slow. I've really no idea where to begin. I'm home. It's great. But it's also like this isn't home. So jacked up." He looks around the room, considering the fixtures and how different they are, yet they are a part of his past that he's been estranged from.

Moonstar has posed:
Dani hmms, "Well, here's a question. If you could go back there... would you?" She gives Alex a curious expression, "I mean, you had a son there after all. Or did you just fall in and replace the Alex that was supposed to be there?"

Havok has posed:
"Replaced.. But Scotty was great. I had my own team. Madelyne, before she went insane, was spectacular. We did a lot of good work and saved the world a few times. Kinda like what we do here. But to answer your question; to go back..." His eyes avert from the room to Dani and there's a regretful smile forming in the corners of his lips. "I don't know..."

Moonstar has posed:
There's a nod from the teen at that, her lips seeming to match that wistful smile, "Yeah, I bet. Sounds like a pretty cool place, though if I were a shrink and not just a nosy student, I'd say it's making you think about choices you made here?"

Havok has posed:
"Choices, not really. I mean that was 6 years ago. Sure, I was a total jerk sometimes to a lot of yall. So maybe. But now, I'm wondering what is next. I'm still in charge of powered tactics - and to be honest, I have a way better grasp on it and the teaching of it. I had no clue back then. Which reminds me, we really need to go over what happened last night and replay it in the Danger Room so it won't go down like that ever again." Alex's voice demonstrates more confidence as he gets into the subjects he knows way better than the previous interpersonal and situational confusion.

Moonstar has posed:
Dani gets a wry look at that, "Um, yeah, that was... uh, interesting." Which is about as critical as she's going to verbalize, considering that teachers were involved with that. She does, however, give Alex a glance, "So, why was that spectre chasing you out of the portal? Because that ain't normal, by a long shot."

Havok has posed:
"Spectre?" Asks Alex. He was mostly unconscious during that event and never saw the DeathUrge. "I'm not sure what you mean?", comes his question with a furrowed brow.

Moonstar has posed:
Dani crosses her arms, "Well, you were a little out of it. A literal servant of Death was chasing after you. I managed to scare it off, but... why would it be chasing you?" She then adds, "I'm a Valkyrie too, Mister Summers, I see these things."

Havok has posed:
Some things are worked out and become clear in his blue eyes as he hears her define that aspect of death. His lips part and he takes in breath to fill his lungs. Lips close and the air escapes his nostrils as he hummms. Then says, "I had just died in that other reality. But then I remembered I wasn't really dead. Not here. Maybe it was coming after me to reclaim its property."

Moonstar has posed:
Dani hrms. "Alright, well, I didn't destroy it, just scared it off. With everything going on, I didn't have a chance to see if it went through the portal or not." She pauses, "But, if it /did/ stick around, it would have come right back after you. So I'm pretty sure it's gone." She can't really offer a guarantee, but she does seem somewhat confident about that.

Havok has posed:
A reluctant tone escapes Alex's lips, "Great." as he pushes himself off the counter and starts moving toward the door. "I'm gonna get the training scheduled and then take a drive. Check your calendar for the popup. "

Moonstar has posed:
Dani nods, "Looking forward to it boss. If you want any help getting people in shape, I'll be more than happy to be a teacher's aide." She grins, "Catch you later Mister Summers."
