Cast of Characters: Grace Choi, 360, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, 1383, Gravitas, Kaelyn Silverleaf, Power Boy, Terra

Grace Choi has posed:
It's late afternoon, in the city of Metropolis. A very, very tall woman is stting atop her motorcycle on the side of the street while she chats casually with a friend or colleague. Since Intergang was 'booted out' of Metropolis, thankfully, the city has been pretty quiet. And things have almost turned back to normal. Something which the half-Amazon is quite happy for.

What was it someone once said? Don't count your chickens ...

There's suddenly a loud, cracking 'BOOM!' and, in the middle of the busy street a large, swirling portal opens. And a large woman jumps out, in colorful garb - not quite, but almost as big as Grace, looking around wildly. The black-haired woman so clad looks briefly around herself - gaining an idea for her surroundings and as a large SUV screeches to the side to avoid hitting the woman standing like a statue in the middle of the street it begins to swerve out of control, heading straight to a small child and his father on the sidewalk. The woman bounds forward, immediately recognizing the peril and grabs hold of either side of the squealing SUV, the backend crunching satifisfactorilly as the stranger literally lifts it up, turns it back towards the street and sets it back down. She looks at the child, and the man, "My apologies. I was unaware I would be coming out in the middle of your transportation area. Where are your military forces? We must prepare. Quickly."
Grace watches all of this, and crosses her arms, moving across the street. The woman, ... doesn't seem to be a threat. Just yet. Grace sizes up the new arrival, warily, ready for a fight - but uncertain if one should come or not, given what she's just seen.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa has been studying, and has found three other women in this era with hair powers similar to her own. She also has found a number of people in this era with spider based pseudonyms. Therefore, she is pretty sure that wandering arund as Spider Girl will not upset history. She still does not have a flight ring, no available N'th metal to create the Valorium from, but she got her flight belt redesigned to be less conspicuious. Not that she is using it...she is practicing using her powers. She is "hair slinging" her way across town when she hears the loud BOOM and the screach of vehicle tires, thinking there may have been an explosion, she propels herself in that direction.

Martian Manhunter has posed:
Early warning systems activate alarms within the Watchtower. J'onn, ever vigilant with the continuing crisis of the advanced alien technology, has kept a watch out for any inter-dimensional or spacial travel of an alien nature. He quickly uses the monitoring systems to pin point the location of the activity, and moves to the Zetabeam system in the Watchtower. Once on the ground, he follows the coordinates to find an portal sight within a minute or two...

"Greetings.." The Martian Manhunter calls out, "...is everything ok here?" he wasn't sure what to expect, lazer beams, fire balls, death rays. But not someone standing calmly here appearing to just be waiting.

Aquaman has posed:
It isn't long until Arthur Curry arrives as well, alerted by the same warning systems as J'onn from the Watchtower, and travelling via super jump from wherever he might have been, and coming in for a landing in an open space nearby with a bit of a thud from the impact.

Trident in hand, Arthur begins approaching the new arrival as well, a nod cast side-long at the Martian Manhunter before looking towards the new arrival in the middle of the street.

Aquaria (1383) has posed:
There's another fairly tall woman in the park. Not the size of Barda or even Grace, but still taller than average. She has long blonde hair, today held back with an elastic and pins with enameled shells in strategic places. She has on a shimmery blue poet's blouse and a pair of shell pink harem pants. Her feet are bare.

As the great sound reberverates around the area, Aquaria moves quickly to find the source of the sound... and she can move quite swiftly when she wishes. She gasps as the wheels squeal on the street and she lifts off the ground slightly, but then the large colorful woman manhandles the SUV and saves the day. "Neptune." she sighs in relief.

Gravitas has posed:
Victoria is here dressed fairly normally for once. Blue jeans, a pink t-shirt, her wild honey curls allowed to freely rise toward becoming the afro they clearly wish to be. She's smiling brightly as she walks, those blue eyes of hers bright with excitement and concern. The girl has just left the nearby Metropolis Medical Centre and is on her way in the direction of the nearby train station...
Then there's a *BOOM* and the world is suddenly alive with chaos. SUVs screech to help Tori get an idea of where she is headed and the girl ends up dashing down an alley, vaulting a fence in a manner similar to a moon jump. She ducks into an alcove and changes into her superheroic outfit quickly before streaking toward the commotion of... Nothing. Other than Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter facing down Barda in the middle of the street of course.
"Woah," the girl mouths quietly as she surveys the people present. Grace and the newcomer, in particular. Tori blinks and also levitats a couple feet form the ground.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae is well, she's out shopping. The woman hears the kaboom and blinks pausing, as she tosses a small orb into the air. That thing then shoots skyward and she looks through another similar one curiously before she calls the other back to her self and well soon enough, Kae's somehow near the whole get together... She's a ways back from the main group, but definately there.. The Redhead pauses and stares at the new person curiously, and then shrugs to her self and with hands in pockets she's approaching the the big cloud of crazy.

Power Boy has posed:
Power Boy has been waiting. Sent to Earth weeks ago to lead a small infilitration squad, he has...had a rough time of it. It has been a complicated several weeks for the young man, and it is all coming to a head now. This is when it ends...or when he, at least, has to stop it from ending. His fellows are long since disptached, leaving Power Boy alone, and properly hidden. Now he moves through the crowd, his 'uniform' hidden beneath a pair of jeans, boots and a flannel shirt. A ballcap is pulled low (The Gotham Knights!). Other then being a very attractive teenager, he doesn't exactly stand out.

He moves along the sidewalk, his bright eyes scanning everything as he waits for what he THINKS is the arrival of Darkseid. he blinks, however, when he spots a different person from Apokolips. He frowns and steps back behind a tree along the sidewalk, trying to take in the various people and unknown elements, rethinking his approach.

Grace Choi has posed:
Grace had met Arthur, once. It was awhile ago. But, she remembers. As Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman both make their presences known, Grace looks a little relieved, muttering, "Sure. NOW you show up. Finally. Finally someone gets it. That I should not be fighting all this weird crap that jumps out at me." She crosses her arms, still watching Barda, suspiciously.

Barda looks incredulously at Martian Manhunter. "No. Everything is not okay." She eyes him up and down. Then, looks to Aquaman. Then, to Grace. It's not often Barda sizes up another woman, taller than herself. "That is why I am here. You are all in very grave danger." She folds her arm, almost mimicking Grace's pose and suggests, very gravely, "Darkseid is coming. You have defeated Desaad's insidious plot, but that was just the begining. The war is coming, now. I hope there are more than you to withstand it."

Martian Manhunter has posed:
Well, now it's becoming a party, and J'onn offers nods to all those he's familiar with, and sends a quick mental message to Arthur *She has not been aggressive to this point. I will try to scan her to see if I can identify whether she intends any malice* However, his question is answered before he even attempts the scan.

"Yes, Desaad is a name I pulled from one of the minions with the advanced technology..." He looks to Arthur, before continuing, "...but who is this, Darkseid? It's obvious his intent is to cause havoc, and like most it is probably to conquer." J'onn floats down to walk towards Barda, "and what can you tell us that will allow us to stop him, and his schemes?"

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa pauses...which is awkward to do when swinging through the air. She recognizes J'onn. She has met him before, her mental blocks slam into place to keep from thinking about where they met...hopefully meeting him again will not cause any trouble. She is here now, and suddenly fleeing would be more noticable than she prefers. She draps to the ground near the tall Blond.

She also recognizes the name Darkseid. She can not currently remember where she knows that name from, but she does recall, "Darkseid is an evil being of immense power, so powerful he is often considered a god. He contols forces capable of devastating worlds." OK, she does not know where she learned that, but since someone else mentioned him here, she remembers that much.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Metropolis is not normally a place that Terra frequents too often. At least, not as champion of the subterranean realm of Strata. Really, she sort of assumes Superman probably has things pretty dealt with in a place like this. If the Man of Steel can't handle it, well..the Girl of Rocks and Stuff probably should be looking for help anyway.

On the other hand, it's a wonderful place to go sightseeing, which she was doing, right up until the big portal opened and the really tall woman walked out. And she was in luck! Because in Metropolis, for SOME REASON...there are phone booths!

So she ducked inside quickly, shimmeyed out of her civvies and into her costume (because when you are a champion of Strata, you carry it with you, if you'r enot already wearingit under your clothes) and quickly managed, with a bit of wiggling of said booth, to get all changed. Luckily there's a perfectly placed advertisement that runs around the exact center of said booth, so the Comics Code is preserved!

That done, she pops back out, carrying with her the bright yellow duffel now containing her civvies, then jogs over to where the group of other heroes are currently facing off with the new arrival.

"Um...hi! Welcome to Earth? And...ah...we're being invaded?" she says, making sure she's up to speed.

She has NOOOOO idea who Darkseid is.

Power Boy has posed:
The young man standing behind the tree furrows his brow as he picks up the conversation. He recognizes Barda's voice, and he hears what she has to say. It is then that he decides to come ionto view. He comes around the tree and approaches the crowd. While he looks like just some other kid to most, Barda would absolutely recognize one of Darkseid's 'favorites'. His brow furrows as he glances up and over at her.

"Where is he?"

Aquaman has posed:
Arthur Curry gives a little shrug of his shoulders to J'onn before his attention shifts to the gathering crowd before starting to focus on Barda herself as he moves to approach her.

"I'm Arthur Curry, this is Martian Manhunter, of the Justice League. Who is this Darkseid, and what can you tell us about him?" A glance is cast towards Sussa, "And his forces."

Aquaria (1383) has posed:
Aquaria alights on the ground again and steps over to join the knot of people confronting Barda. She crosses her arms before her. "Perhaps you should begin by identifying yourself, strange person." she says, imperiously. "Your manners are poor. Even if there is an emergency, one does things a certain way."

She glances at Arthur and nods her head barely, but does not greet him verbally. The others she could care less about at this time.

Gravitas has posed:
"Darkseid," Gravitas repeats slowly, looking around at those present. She isn't a warrior in the way the others present are. The petite girl is somewhat athletic but also a little on the heavier side for her height. She obviously isn't going through punishing daily raining regimens. She crosses her arms over her chest and watches all of this with a thoughtful frown on her lips.
"...I wish Faora was here," the girl murmrus after a moment before shaking her head once. She doesn't have anything to add to the actual conversation apparently.

Grace Choi has posed:
Barda narrows her eyes at Sussa, "That is a good start to describing who he is. Yes. He is known as the Lord of Subjugation. Lord of Apokolips. Called Hades. Blackheart the Deatheater. And, many other titles. It is also fair to say he has never been defeated in the worlds he seeks to conquest in his never-ending search for the Anti-Life Equation. Nothing can stop him. But there are those of us who will continue to --"

She recognizes Power Boy. And, suddenly, "You!" And even as she says it, she's leaping at Power Boy, arm hauled back and fist moving forwards to slam into Power Boy's face as quick, and as hard as she can. No explination to her 'new friends' given. But, it's curious she hasn't attacked any of -them- yet. Neptune's suggestion of manners seem forgotten in lieu of more important matters. Like, punching Power Boy's face off. Which she is attempting to do with much gusto.

Grace, however, stands by. The Justice League is here. As are others. And, she's been in enough fights of late. "Well," she says, looking sidelong to Atlee and Vicotria, conversationally, "Something had to go wrong, right?" She almost looks as if she'd been expecting it. Or, something like it to happen. She exhales, "Maybe he just has one of those faces?" Wryly. Of course, Grace hasn't given her name, either. Not yet, anyways.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa's first impulse is to stop the big brunette from attacking, but she halts herself...who would someone warning Earth about Darkseid attack? Possibly a spy for the enemy. Sussa waits to see how this is resolved.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
"...from the sound of it, we may wish a lot of people were here." Atlee admits slowly as Barda explains. "Okay, and he's going to - " Annnnnnd then Barda is suddenly attempting Stone Age cosmetic surgery on Power Boy's face....someone else she doesn't recognize. "Hey!" She stomps on the ground as the asphalt ripples in a wave from the impact, swirling between and then to either side to try and separate the pair before they can get too into the fight. "I was hoping for not so much punching..." she admits, a bit woefully, to Grace, her arms folding, before saying more loudly. "NO PUNCHING!"

Aquaria (1383) has posed:
Aquaria hasn't given her name either, but then that's not the way this works. She opens her mouth as if to speak again but suddenly something sets Barda off and charges a newcomer, setting about tenderizing his face.

"Control yourself!" Aquaria calls, rushing to try to grab Barda's punching arm.

Power Boy has posed:
Power Boy speaks, and then all hell breaks loose. His eyes widen as Barda surges towards him, and then suddenly asphalt is ripping up to block them. He knows for a fact that Barda is strong enough to punch through the dense material, though. When she launches at him he leaps back and...stays in the air? The young man hovers in the air about fifteen feet back. "Barda! Back off!"

He takes a deep breath and then releases his breath in the woman's direction...the air between them freezing and crystallizing to form a sort of rough, thick ice wall.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae walks closer to the group of people and blinks, she sees the new person move to turn Power Boy's face into a pancake and another try to hold her from dong it? Kae then moves up, trying to move up near J'onn, one of the only folks she really knows and she asks curiously "Ummm what's going on?" Asks Kae curiously. She then glances at the Barda shenannigans and fingers one of her bracelets, just in case stuff really goes to hell...

Gravitas has posed:
Victoria yelps as Barda leaps at Power Boy, staring at what is going on. She takes a deep breath and then shakes her head slowly. "What in the world is going on...?" She starts to move orward but then a rush of people are moving to intervene and the diminutive gravity manipulator is forced ot the outside of the conflict to stare as people go back and forth. It isn't as if she knows either combatant anyway. ...And then there's an ice wall. "Whoa."

Grace Choi has posed:
"There's -always- punching. It's a rule. Someone comes through a dimensional portal, there's going to be punching," Grace explains, as if in a lecturing tone, to Atlee. Still, as she's surmised, plenty of other people are interferring, or helping, however you want to look at it. For once, something strange is happening and Grace doesn't need to lift a finger. She's kind of digging it.

"He is a spy! And assassin! Darkseid created him! You must stop him, now!" Barda seethes, as she's restrained in part by 'Neptune' and then Atlee's asphalt wall, and Power Boy's icewall. "He is the herald! And he will bring destruction on you all."
But, Barda does not move to fight her would-be 'allies', those she has come to warn, though she struggles free -- Barda is, indeed, mighty. "He may well be the reason your - Faora, the Kyptonian woman was kidnapped by Darkseid. Even now, the Lord of Apokolips seeks to win her to his side. To be his Emissary and his General to subjugate Earth."
She glares daggers at Power Boy. "He may also know Darkseid's timetable. You must take him into custody. At any cost. And question him. Or your world may burn."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Atlee blinks at Grace, then siiiiighs, before she turns her violet gaze on Power Boy. "...is this true?" she says. She's kind of ready for him to say 'YES MWAHAHAHAHA DIE FOOOLS!'. Because it happens. Like with that JERK Empathosaur. Thus, she's keeping a hold on her power, though she's not moving anything. Yet.

"And if that's so...why are you just...uh....hanging out here?" she asks after a moment of thought. "And not trying to kill us all?" And hopefully really not trying to kill us all....hmm.

Atlee takes a few steps to the right, until she's in front of the girl dressed all civvie, Victoria. "Um, and should you be here?" she whispers uncertainly to her. "You might be hurt if there's trouble!"

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Something clicks when Power Boy uses Freeze Breath, Sussa says softly, "Dev-em?" When Barda identifies him as an emmisary of Apokalypse, Sussa decides her identification is probably wrong. Probably...she actually does not remember who Dev-Em is at the moment, only that he had powers like this boy, and was once evil but changed sides and joined the police. Well, she also knows Dev is WAY more powerful than she is, she would not even try to restrain him. She might restrain Barda, but Barda apparently can not fly...which makes a big difference.

Power Boy has posed:
"The woman lies!," the teen calls out as he flies back a few more feet, trying to put some more distance between himself and her. He pauses. "Well, not entirely lieing. I -was- created by Darkseid...but I do not serve him anymore!" Well, isn't -that- convenient? He glances about at everyone, as if looking for understanding in their faces. He can literally feel their emotions, and call tell what the various watchers and people involved are experience, emotion-wise.

"I was sent to do just as she says, btu I took out the others with me. I don't want to destroy this place, I want to live in it!" As if to be safe, however, he turns and flies a few feet to the side...and tears a lamppost from the ground as if it weighed nothing. He hauls it back and holds it like a club, glancing warily about at everyone else. He glances over at Sussa, looking a bit confused.

Martian Manhunter has posed:
Coming back from some mental communications with who knows, J'onn is stunned to see Barda jumping to attack one of the new comers. Few move to help, having been mentally somewhere else there is little he can do, but when Barda makes his claim he will look to the supposed spy, asking "Why does she believe you to be a spy?" The Martian asks, not quite ready to condem someone unknowingly, but he does bring up his telepathy to see if the youth is lying.

Martian Manhunter has posed:
"What he says is true..." J'onn adds right as Power Boy is speaking, "..Barda believes what she is saying, and Power Boy speaks truth."

Aquaria (1383) has posed:
"Then perhaps the two of you should go with the Justice League members here and allow them to inter..." Aquaria begins. "... to _discuss_ this matter with you." she adds quickly. She nods to herself. "This seems the best course of action. Do you not agree?" she asks the Martian and especially Arthur.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae glances frm person to person again, and settles in to just watching, trying to muddle through events now as well... "Sooo, lady there is warning of an imminent attack by this nasty felah caled DarkSide, sounds like a living embodiment of a Star Wars thng, but ok." She mutters quietly and looks at Power boy curiously "Also saying he's a spy of sorts... Ummmm... And now everyone's going to go to the Justice league place." She glances to Power boy and ummms.. "Yah and wielding a lamp post like it's a wiffle bat ain't probably gonna aid yer cause at this point." She adds, now speaking aloud and smiling, not that she thinks there's much she can do to any Kryptonian, other than make goofy and smart allecky comments.

Aquaman has posed:
Arthur Curry nods aside to Aquaria as she speaks up, "If even part of what's being said is true, we'll need to know everything we can to deal with this Darkseid threat." A glance is cast towards J'onn as he takes a couple of steps forward to bring him towards the little scuffle centered on Barda and Power Dude.

Martian Manhunter has posed:
Looking to Aquaria, J'onn adds "We can continue this discussion in the reserved areas of the Hall of Justice. It would allowed a continued conversation without so much of an... audience." J'onn adds, looking at the people staring in fear and fascination. At Kaelyn's comment, he glances her way, raising an eyebrow at her he sends a mental message *Your insights are valid, but your delivery might need a little work.* an amused ting to his mental voice.

"Barda, Power Boy, let us cease the hostilities, and focus our attentions for the plan to deal with the danger you both speak of..." He looks between the two, "..we will do what we can, heeding your advice, to prepare for the attack of Darkseid."

Grace Choi has posed:
Barda glares at Power Boy, but she looks at J'onn, frowning, then looks back to Power Boy. "I have warned you," she states, evenly. "Trust him at your own peril. But I will not fight you. You," she says, looking to J'onn, then to Arthur, to Aquaria, "Are my allies in this. If Darkseid conquers your Earth, he will be that much more unstoppable."
She pauses, frowning, and looks to glare at Kaelyn. Where Darkseid is concerned, Barda doesn't seem to have a sense of humor. "You do not seem to understand. Allow me to educate you. Darkseid likes Kryptonians. They are strong. And, when bathed by the yellow sun, they're one of the few beings in the galaxy that when there's a few of them together, might be able to last more than a minute or two in a fight with him. Darkseid's strength is boundless. As is his desire for the Anti-Life Equation. He will not rest until he gets it. That. Cannot happen."
She pauses. Frowns. "I am Barda. He. Is Power Boy. Go on. Tell them. Tell them what your Lord and Master will do to them, when he, and his army, when the Furies, and Kalibak come for them."

Grace exhales, mutters to Atlee, shaking her head, "Too much talking. Punching is easier than talking. But drinking? Drinking is better. Alright. So, does this Darkseid have a weakness?" You know, like Kryptonite? Then, she rubs her face, "Why am I even asking this? Heaven help me."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Atlee nods a little at Grace, continuing to 'guard' Victoria a bit. "What is this Anti-Life Equation? He thinks he can find it here, on Earth?" she says witha slow frown, looking between the two. "....um, perhaps we should start first with, how is he planning on attacking us, and what can we plan for thwarting?" She likes the word. Thwart. Like thwump. Thwip. Thwack. Ahem. "I mean, if you're the advance herald, Power Boy, and you know of the attack, Miss Barda...does he know you've turned against him, and thinks that his attack will be a suprise still?"

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa does not know anything about the Anti-life equation...whether because she never knew of because the knowledge is blocked she has no idea. Sussa does say, "Barda, I assume you were once loyal to Darkseid, but you changed. Perhaps this boy actually has changed as well. If so, the two of you should be allies against this great evil."

Power Boy has posed:
"I'm from Apokolips. I know -all- about interrogation," the flying teen answers with a scowl. "Not interested." He glances down at Kaelyn and furrows his brow a bit, still hefting the lamppost. His gaze dips to Barda and J'onn and Arthur, and the young man sighs softly. He floats down to the ground and turns, shoving the lamppost back into the ground. It doesn't work anymore, of course. He brushes his hands off on his jeans and rolls a shoulder. Barda's statement of him brings a deeper frown.

"I've studied this world a bit while I've been here. I've studied the sorts of things you have dealt with. Nothing. NOTHING...equals Darkseid or what he is capable of." He shakes his head, then. "My duty was to assassinate several individuals, and then contact his forces. I have no idea beyond that. It was the first step, however..."

Martian Manhunter has posed:
"Wait..." J'onn says with real emotion, his normal passive features turning into a frown, "Anti-Life Equation?" He asks, stunned, "My people, the Martians, has as part of our Philosophy what is called the Life Equation." He looks to Arthur first, "It is a long and complex belief, but ultimately it is our explanation on how sentients use Free Will, and change their Universe around them..."

J'onn switches between Barda and Power Boy, "Does this mean he believes in the Opposite? That if he were to remove all Free Will, that he may be able to force the Universe to his whims?" The very thought is appalling to the Martian. "If he is even close to finding this, we must do all that we can to stop it."

Gravitas has posed:
"... I need to find Faora. This is way too - big. I mean, I've been training with her but I'm not - ready for..." Gravitas shakes herh ead repeatedly an then takes a deep breath. She's been staring dumbly for a time, watching everyone converse mutely while her blue eyes dart back and forth trying to take in everything around her at the same time.
"I'll-" Gravitas trails off when the conversation renews in earnest and takes a darker turn with J'onn's revelations of the Anti-Life Equation and she simply sighs softly. "Regardless, we need a plan. How long do we actually have?"

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
"Sooo super megalomaniac with enough power and followers to try and live out his whims." She says and nods slowly "Got it..." She umms and blinks before looking around "Sooo, would magics and such affect this Darkseid and his followers?" Ask Kaelyn... She then rubs the back of her neck "Heck I dunno if it would even do much to Kryptonians either, least what I know of magic." she adds and looks around curiously as she offers "Mebbe I can help with this thing? Or maybe get some other folks in the magicking community to help too?"

Aquaria (1383) has posed:
"Your Darkseid will not find this world so easy to conquer." Aquaria replies. "It is well-defended, even if you and the 'Power Boy' are examples of the warriors he will bring. If nothing else, the sons and daughters of Atlantis will bleed his armies dry. We may fall but we will not bend the knee." she seems quite sure of this.

Grace Choi has posed:
"You seem to know an awful lot about Apokolips, and Darkseid," Barda says, addressing Sussa directly, with a scowl of her own. She looks to Power Boy, her eyes narrowed. But, at least she's not trying to punch his face of right now. So, that's progress. To some degree. "Yes. I once served Darkseid. I was a member of the Furies. But I met someone, who changed all that. And that man may be your -- Faora's only hope. Darkseid's attention is on her, now. Which allows me this moment to come. To warn you. Without his forces following me."
She nods, once, to J'onn. "Yes. He believes by finding the Anti-Life Equation, he can subjugate the entire Universe, every planet, every galaxy, to his will. This is what he seeks. And each planet he subjugates, conquers, destroys, gets him closer to this knowledge.
"Darkseid will attack with his army, first. They will arrive through Boom Tubes. How I got here." She holds up an item which looks, simply, like a metallic stick. Or, tube. "It transports us between a point of origin, and Apokolips. He has larger ones. His army will be arriving soon."
She looks to Victoria. "If your Faora is strong, and if Scott can get to her in time, she may live. There are many factors."
5tA pause, "As for how long you have? Days. If that. Gather your forces. You will need all of them. The skies will be blackened with his army. Your ground will swell. Survive his army. Then. You will win the first battle. Survive the battle. And he will send the Furies."

Grace mutters, quietly, "Guess it's time for me to cash in some vacation days. Jesus. And get out my Hammer. She's going to need it."

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa says to Barda, "I have partial amnesia, sometimes things remind me of what I have forgotten and bring forth parts of what I knew. I must have encountered Darkseid's forces in the past, and learned something of them...it is the only way I could know what I do...but I can not recall the details of that encounter." She is practicing not thinking about the subject, if she let herself think about it she would know why she can not remember...instead she thinks only about WHAT she can not remember and not why. She can not remember when she could have encountered Darkseid, she can not rememver hearing of the Anti-life equation...

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Atlee frowns quietly, a serious expression on her face. "...if....this person can save Faora, if she is a prisoner, that's a good start. But if he can attack anywhere...who will he send first? Where would he focus on? If we know that...we can make sure there are plenty of people to try and throw the attack back, but if he attacks everywhere at once..." She shakes her head slightly. "We'd be spread out across the planet otherwise." She rests her hands on her hips. "Whatever you can tell us would help, right?" she says, looking at the others.

Martian Manhunter has posed:
Looking to Arthur, J'onn says "I believe that I can set the monitors on the Watchtower for the specific signatures these transfer devices give off. We can reach out to the other Heroes, provide them similar information, or the ability to be notified when our alarms are triggered."

J'onn nods to Atlee in agreement, before adding to her question for Barda, "If you know of any of his favorite Warriors or Generals, it would allow us a chance to better prepare. Tactics. Strategy. Additional Technology he employs."

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa hears the question from the Earth Controller and says, "THAT, our young friend can help with. He knows who he was supposed to kill, a detective might be able to use that information to deduce part of his overall strategy."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae tilts her head and then looks to J'onn... "I might could help some... Mayhaps I could open a couple gateways when they get here so as to allow for quick moblization of our forces?" One of Kae's eyebrows raise slightly, then she glances back to the others curiously and looks to J'onn.. "Im no sorceror supreme, but if I make a few gateway items and all, I can possibly help moblize about 7-10 folks per gate and get em to a desired location? Maybe? JUst depends on how long we have, and how quickly I can get materials put togethre for it. I'm a little broke after some of the Intergang stuffs and well my other big project... "

Aquaria (1383) has posed:
Aquaria strides past the others, heading for Power Boy. She doesn't try to grab him but nears to limit his head start if he chooses to flee.

"Will you go freely or must you be taken by force?" she asks. She drifts a bit off the ground, not enough to be terribly noticable, but there's definitely some daylight under there.

Gravitas has posed:
"...You know where Faora is?" Gravitas asks abruptly. "Who is this - Scott person? What can I do to help?" Suddenly the girl is all fire again. She starts to lift up form the ground. A few inches, then more. Slowly. "I'm more than ready to fight. If this guy is the one who kidnapped Superwoman..." Well, the fact Gravitas wears Superwoman's colours might say something to those who know the Kryptonian. "I can take on an army. Fae would want me to deal with that before anything else." She sucks in a deep breath and then holds it for several seconds. "But she's not here, and I want to help her as much as I can before the fighting starts." Then Aquaria heads for Power Boy and Gravitas slowly turns. "Wait a second. That's not going to help anything, is it?"

Grace Choi has posed:
"He will attack this place, first. The home of your Kryptonians. They are your champions. He will seek to destroy them," Barda instructs. "And by doing so, put all of Earth under his heel."
She looks to Victoria. "If I took her to you now, you would die. Darkseid does not take kindly to his amusement being interferred with. The only one who has a chance right now is my husband. He is the only one to ever escape the clutches of Granny Goodness. And, if Faora is strong enough to resist Darkseid -- and not die, Scott will aid her escape back here," she reiterates.
The woman sets her mouth in a line, then nods to J'onn and Arthur, each. "Your Justice League? This is your resistance force against immense threats to your world? I will go with you there. I will tell you what I know of the Furies remaining. Of Kaliback. And, of Darkseid."
She does not comment on Auaria's desire to take Power Boy in. Such is not her business. Still ...
... she looks to Kaelyn. "Etheral forces as you are describing are not a weakness for him." She points at Grace. "You asked if Darkseid has a weakness? The answer? Is no. He is Eternal. Powerful. And no one has stood against him and lived."
Still. Barda is trying. "I will fight with you. So will Scott, when he arrives."

Martian Manhunter has posed:
"We appreciate all the help you have and will provide to us, Barda." J'onn says, his gaze taking in the gathered heroes, "As you see here, all the Heroes of this planet will come to defend when needed. Our ability to quikcly mobilize will be the difference..." His gaze taking in Kaelyn with a nod.

He looks to Power Boy, adding, "Your information would also be welcome and helpful. Anything we can know of his plans will be vital."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Herstlee hmms. "...I guess...I should find a hotel room then." she says with a sigh, rubbing her hair. Oh well. Her hobbit hole isn't done yet anyway, she figures. And this is obviously more important. At least rent is paid for this month. "Um...miss..." she says to Aquaria. "I think she's right...he's not harmed anyone. It's better to have an ally than a prisoner, right?"

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa decides her being here just now might bring trouble...she has already said too much. She stretches her hair and grabs a distant solidly anchored object and suddenly retracts her hair, slingshotting herself away.

Grace Choi has posed:
Grace exhales, shaking her head as Barda moves to head up to the Watchtower with the Justice Leaguers and Power Boy. The stern faced woman will, no doubt, keep them awake for the next several hours with details of Darkseid's forces. And the nearly insurmountable battles ahead of them.

Then, the half-Amazon turns to those who remain, "Always thought of moving to Montana," she says, dryly, as she shakes her head. "I need a beer. Several. You're all welcome to join me at Chaney's." And she, too, begins to walk off. There's going to be a lot of drinking.
