Grace Choi has posed:
After making their -- or, rather, after Rachel made -her- escape, with Grace in tow, Grace wasn't much one for arguing. She did, however, maintain consciousness. And, gave pretty good directions to Rachel to her place, which wasn't too far away. Especially when one could phase through things and evade the local law enforcement that was barreling towards the event center.
Grace's apartment is clean, kept up, and a mixture of 'spartan' and decorated, some kind of halfway point. Most noteworth of the decorations is a rather heavy, and lethal looking warhammer that's hung up on the wall in the hallway towards the door. It's spacious, and could easily room up to two other people without feeling crowded. The kitchen is large, the couch a large one -- large enough for Grace to spread out on is in one room with a large television screen and entertainment center -- including a video game system.
A fair amount of alcohol can be found in the kitchen. Seems Grace makes a decent amount of money, working for Chaney's.

Sublime has posed:
Rachel, suprisingly, has been pretty capable in balancing Grace....mostly because she's stuck pretty much to heavy density to do it on the way back home, to give herself a strength boost. But they're finally back...and once she gets the door open and gets Grace inside where she can shut it again, she starts leading her over to the bedroom. "Here...easy...lie down, let me look at your back...you got a first aid kit?" she wonders softly, setting down the rifle she's been lugging along on the kitchen counter as they go past it.

Grace Choi has posed:
"Bathroom," says Grace, pointing as she's laid down. The back of what's left of her shirt is singed to hell, her skin blackened, several layers of skin removed in the blast. Still, she's taking it like a soldier. "Alcohol's in the kitchen."
She grunts, finding a position, or trying to, that'd be comfortable. "Tell me they're all dead. Please tell me they're all dead. Or, severely injured. Severely injured, and, tossed into The Raft or wherever it is that they'll never escape from."

Sublime has posed:
Rachel mmphs. "Well, I shot one in the leg and broke the neck of the guy who shot you. The rest looked like they were either dead or arrested by the cops and heroes that showed up for that little stunt." She walks into the bathroom, rooting around, then returning with the kit as she sits besides you on the bed. "Here...I think that top's done for..." she says, pully out a pair of scissors and carefuly snipping at the cloth so it hangs loose. "....alright...this is gonna hurt hon, I have to pull it away...ready?"

Grace Choi has posed:
"Just do it," Grace encourages, dryly, even as she balls her hand into a fist. "Shouldn't have killed any of them. Though, if you get pulled into court, we can claim self-defense. Damn lotta witnesses, Rachel." Grace, not so much lamenting the loss of life as the penalty it might have on someone she's starting to care about. "But, you get a gold star for effort. My knight in shining armor. Guess this makes us even, yeah?"

Sublime has posed:
Rachel shrugs, not looking the least bit apologetic. "He shot you. He could have killed you. And I'm not - " And mid-talk she starts to phase your shirt, before peeling it back. It's not as bad as if she'd physically yanked it free, though it still hurts where she has to separate it from regenerating and burnt flesh. "...worried about that. No one got a good look at us with all the shooting, none of the heroes really paid attention to you or me. I think they'll be more interested in hunting down Intergang than hunting us down after that...." She pulls the ruined shirt free completely, just pulling it through you before tossing it to the floor for now, then starts looking over the burn. "Mmm, I wasn't counting, but...you were the knight...jumping in front of those people." She frowns. "You coulda been killed..." She starts looking over the burn, wincing. "...fuck. This is a mess...do I need to abraid away the burned bits?" She's not sure how her regeneration works exactly.

Grace Choi has posed:
"Figured if anyone in that group could've taken it, it was me," Grace says, roughly, after wincing, and cursing at the sudden pain. Expected. But damn, it still hurts. "Jackasses. Think that just because they have a big weapon they can go do whatever the hell they want. Half-wish the Punisher was there, and just headshotting them." She curses, then, shaking her head, just a little bit. She exhales again, "It'll heal on it's own. Let's not shred my flesh anymore tonight, please? I know it's hot. But, it is only our second date."

Sublime has posed:
There's a low, humorless laugh from Rachel, before she scoots up the bed, then reaches out to gently stroking her fingers through Grace's hair, down to the nape of her neck in soft brushes of her fingers. "Not really the sort of hotness I was assuming might happen..." she says gently, sighing out. "Would something to numb it help, at least? There's some first aid spray in here..."

Grace Choi has posed:
"Knock yourself out. Then get me a beer. Or, better yet, the bottle of vodka," Grace opines, mirthlessly. She mutters, then, "Next time, you're picking out the place. I'm batting .500. Not too good, on the dating circuit."
There's a long pause, and Grace manages, more earnestly, "Thanks, Rachel. You were pretty badass, in there, you know."

Sublime has posed:
Rachel leans over to get the spray, then spritzes over the wound, the stinging, then numbing fluid helping a bit at least, before she leans down to kiss Grace's temple gently. "Mmm, not your fault...and...thanks. It felt good to have someone I wanted to fight for, at least..." She gives Grace a firm swat on her undamaged rear, then stands up. "Right back with that beer...you're lucky I'm not a doctor, they'd probably object or some shit to booze right off the bat." she teases, disappearing into the kitchen as she roots around, then brings back a pair of cold beers, the caps removed, one of which she offers as she perches on the bed next to Grace.

Grace Choi has posed:
"Don't get me wrong. I'm not a hero. Don't think you are either, Rachel. But," Grace says casually, "But, yeah. A good fight is a good fight. And, figure if there's no one else around to fight when fighting is needed getting done, then. It'll never be said I didn't stand up for people when shit got bad, Rachel. There's a bunch of terrible people out there. Trust me. I know."

Sublime has posed:
That stroking slows a bit at that, then Rachel murmurs, a bit evenly. "So do I." She tilts her head. "You don't think I learned to do that as an elective at college or something, y'know...." She scritches the nape of Grace's neck gently. "...someone made me a killer. Or a plaything. Take your pick."

Grace Choi has posed:
"Yeah? Well, that makes two of us. Well. Nobody made me anything. Just." Grace frowns, after wincing and rolling onto her side some so she can sip at the beer. "Products of our past? But, long as you're with me, hot-stuff, you aren't going anywhere. At least, if I'm getting a third date. Maybe I'm being a bit presumptuous." She grins, now, a bit more like her old self.

Sublime has posed:
Rachel's eyes twinkle. "I think I could see a third date in your future, yes...." she says with a smile. "I mean, you already got me home to your apartment already. Fast mover!" she teases, then clinks her bottle to Grace's gently.

Grace Choi has posed:
"Damn, that stings," Grace mutters, "I do -not- want to look at that in a mirror, do I? Jesus. I've had worse, though. Got caught in a fire, once. That hurt a helluva lot more. I'll heal up fully in a couple of days Probably will be on my feet tomorrow. Guess it goes with being an Amazon. Just think, if I were a full Amazon, I'd probably be twice as much of a bitch." She laughs at that, then finishes off her beer. Then, she reaches out to touch Rachel, affectionately.
"You can stay, if you want. Bed's big enough. Don't think I'll be up to much fun, though. Kinda ruins the moment if you're in more pain than anything else."

Sublime has posed:
Rachel smiles a bit. "It's fine..." she says simply. "And I'll stay with you...until you feel better..." She says, reaching out to brush a loose tendril of hair behind Grace's ear. "At least I can make sure you're fed while you're recovering, if nothing else..." she says with a smile. "And...I don't think you're a bitch..." she adds after a moment. "Believe me...I've known a bitch. Too many of them..." she mentions, old emotions roughening her voice. "Blunt is not bitchy."

Grace Choi has posed:
"Yeah? What if I like being a bitch?" Grace protests, half-amused. She adds, "And, I named my hammer Bitchmaker. Got it, if you can believe, from Ares." A pause, to let that sink into Rachel's head, adding, "Yeah. The real Ares. God of War. Greek God. All that good stuff. Pretty damn resilient, too. I can't even bend it. Perfect for me."

Sublime has posed:
Rachel snorts. "...I've met him." she says after a moment. "Helped me after I got fucked over after a job." She pulls up her shirt, showing a round scarred stab wound of some sort in her abdomen. "Goes straight through...rebar. Wasn't fun." She lets it drop. "He let me recover at one of his safe houses."

Grace Choi has posed:
"Yeah? Well. I slept with him, too," Grace suggests, clearly boasting. But, she sounds serious. She adds, "He's pretty good in bed, too. But that was before I knew he was who he was. Then one day, just dropped out of the sky, fighting some other dude. Turns out he and Phobos were having a tiff. Gave it to me during the fight." She shrugs, casually, and doesn't seem to even be aware that Rachel might not be okay with her stating so simply she's slept with someone else. "I'd do it again too. Fight for him, I mean. He's a good friend."

Sublime has posed:
Rachel doesn't seem overly bothered. "Heh, yeah...he wanted to with me, I'm guessing, but..." She shrugs. "...I wasn't in the right frame of mind for it. Revenge and old pains." She shakes her head. "So you like the boys or the girls, hmm? Greedy." she teases playfully.

Grace Choi has posed:
"I have sex with men," Grace says, quite casually. "I have relationships with women. Men and women both bring something to the table," she admits. "Just be grateful. If I weren't so open minded, I might have a man in here right now, instead of you," Grace suggests with a dry laugh.
She pauses, going more sober. "What do you plan to do with the gun you grabbed?"

Sublime has posed:
Rachel hehs, then hmmms. "Might come in useful. I don't have a lot of my old gear...a rifle like that might come in handy, if I ever need to deal with a hard target." she says thoughfully. "No idea how to recharge it or anything if it runs on a battery though." She tilts her head. "Not sure if I want to though. Probably better to trade it in for something less...flashy. That won't be tracked to me."

Grace Choi has posed:
"Considering," Grace suggests, "Everything behind those guns? Give it in. You don't wanna do it, I can for you. Way I see it," she surmises, "The more Intergang flexes it's muscle, the more people like the Justice League are going to take notice. Act. And then they're going to go looking for people who pilfered the weapons. Still have them. Far as you know, trading that in is just giving it time until it's pointed at some other innocent mother, and little girl."
Grace frowns, some. "I get it, though. Big score. And, I'm hardly one to talk. Did my share of petty crime in my day to survive. Just. Well. This could be you taking a step in the right direction, right?"

Sublime has posed:
Rachel mmphs. "Well that was kinda why I was gonna hold onto it, but..." She sighs, frowning as she glances back out at the gun. "...I guess you've got a point. I really don't need heat like that following me. Or leading to you, either." she says, shaking her head. "...I guess if you know a way to get it back that might be like, a reward involved, maybe..." she says thoughfully.

Grace Choi has posed:
Grace clears her throat, "Don't know about a reward. Besides, you know, getting a third date with me, which you've already gotten. But." She half-grins, shrugs, "How about next time I go to Manhattan you go with me, on my bike? I'll be caught dead before I take one of those human transporter things. Don't care -what- they say."

Sublime has posed:
Rachel makes a face, then sighs, grumbling. "Well...I guess no money then." She peers at Grace. "...third date and a promise of a long bike ride does sound pretty nifty though." She admits, smiling a little. "Been a while since I've been able to ride a bike again."
