Cast of Characters: Andromeda, Robin (Wayne)

Andromeda has posed:
The tower perimeter defenses track a red and blue figure in the sky near the building, zooming in with a camera shows it to be a tall blond girl. She's dressed in a crimson tunic, a short blue pleated skirt, and a long blue cape attached to the top with two golden discs.

After a minute or two of flitting around like a hummingbird, the lady lands near the front and strides into the lobby, running fingers through her hair as she goes.

"Titans' Tower. Wow. Won't the others be jealous that I was here? I'll have to bring them along." she peers about the lobby, looking at every little thing - the houseplants, the lobby furniture, every detail.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Monitor duty at Titans Tower was almost never exciting, so as Robin had been alerted to the incoming flying person, this was probably the first 'action' he's seen all day.

After a short '>tt<' he made his way down to the lobby area, drawing his sword. He was without hood at the moment, but the armored survival suit under his tunic and the golden R badge screamed just with whom he was affiliated with.

"Identify yourself and state your purpose." He offers clearly, and in a guarded tone.

Andromeda has posed:
"Oh." the wonan says, smiling as Damian appears. If she's concerned about the sword she doesn't seem to show it. "Hullo. I'm Laurel." she offers. "You... you're a Robin! Amazing! I'm a fan."

She drifts over and seems to be about to try to shake Danian's hand. "It's really great being able to meet a historical figure like you." she considers. "Which one _are_ you? Not the one wit the..." and she smiles a stupid grin. "Heh." but she sobers. "Not the angry one. Not the smart one." she tilts her head and looks at the young man. "The short one!"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The youngest Robin (currently) rears back, sheathing the sword to his back once he realizes there is no threat...for now. As with most Robins, Damian was always on guard.

Robin however doesn't seem very thrilled by the comparison to his brothers. "The short one? What the f@&=!" Is she sure he's the short one and not the angry one?

"I'll have you know I am the perfect size to outmaneuver any foe." His mask covers his eyes of course, but it is anything but expressionless, Damian's eyebrows are furrowed and he's visibly seething.

Andromeda has posed:
Laurel taps her temple. "I can't remember... why can't I remember?" then she smiles cheerfully. "This isn't my planet, you see." and she looks him over again. "I bet you're the one that becomes the Batman."

She looks around again. "Hmm. You might take a look at that elevator cable." a shrug. "Well, this isn't just a sightseeing trip. Has the Jusice League briefed you about this 'Darkseid' being, not that anyone knows anything except the Kryptonian that made that crater in Metropolis."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian's expression changes drastically once Laurel mentions Damian may be the future Batman. He seems a bit stunned by that notion before he shakes himself back into reality.

"No, the Justice League hasn't informed us about anything like that." Doesn't seem like the Titans have too much communication with the League other than the number of Titans members that have mentors in the League, or fathers for that matter.

Andromeda has posed:
"But you've seen the energy signals?" Laurel wonders, frowning a bit in concern. "My friends and I have been trying sense of them, they've been happening more and more lately. There were two in as many days."

"There's someone called 'Superwoman', I think Superman called her 'Faora'? She made a huge crater in the middle of Metropolis... I'm sure you all wnet to invetigate? She had been kidnapped, I guess, but someone called 'Darkseid' which seems to be from some other dimension? I don't know. We've never heard of it... but she was afraid, very afraid. And she was beaten very, very badly. Being a Kryptonian, whatever could do that to her must be really impressive." Laurel says all in one long breath.

"She was telling Superman that he needed to call everyone he could find, everyone who could fight, to get ready for war or the word would burn." she finishes with a shrug. "I guess they took her to the Watchtower to talk some more."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin's demeanor remains still as he listens. "The Titans...don't have a Kryptonian on the team." This may be a point of concern that would need addressing. "If we were called, I had not been available, probably in Gotham at the time."

Robin puts a hand to his chin, he would have to send a message to Batman concerning this. "If she is at the Watchtower, then she's at least with the League." He would never admit it, but the Titans haven't gone up against anything of that high magnitude since he joined. "If they are keeping it from us, they most likely think we can't handle it." Robin offers with a huff.

Andromeda has posed:
"Oh, you can handle it!" Laurel replies. "You're the Titans. You have an Amazon and a couple of Robins and a witch and an Atlantean and a Flash and a Green Lantern and a Supergirl. You'll be fine." she shakes her head. "Why would they think you couldn't? Just because you're young? My friends were young but we were fighting Khunds and Dominators and all kinds of things. It's what you have in here..." and she taps her chest. "Not what's on the chrono."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
"That is correct, we are more than our ages." Robin quips, steeling his resolve. "I'll reach out to the JLA on it. If the Titans are needed, we will answer the call."

A moment goes by before he looks a little taken aback. "We don't have a Green Lantern, or a Flash, or a Supergirl." Damian starts to look suspicious there.

Andromeda has posed:
Laurel scratches her head. "You don't?" she asks. "Are you sure?" and she sighs. "History was never my best subject, especially not ancient Earth history. Sprock. I wonder if I should've told you any of these things?" she says with a laugh.

"I guess it doesn't matter now. Maybe I was... no, this makes my head hurt." she smiles. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" Laurel wonders. "If there is, I don't know. There's probably some way to get in touch with me. Not that you all will need any help."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
"Yes, I am quite sure," Suddenly, the white eye lenses of Damian's mask soon go wide with a range of emotion. "History!? You're from the -future-?!" Beat. "And you never thought about the ramifications you could have on your own future by coming to the past?!" The Angry Bird keeps on his angry rant for a moment, huffing a bit afterward.

Andromeda has posed:
"Brainy didn't tell me _not_ to." Laurel says, taken aback a little by the rant. "We didn't exactly come here on purpose." and she shrugs. "But it's good that we're here. We can help . We have the smartest being in the universe and we have my cousin. If there's some kind of super-powerful other-dimensional warlord coming then maybe this is why we're here? I don't know. Paradoxes never made any sense to me."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin's eye twitches a little bit, the only thing that calms him down is that there isn't much he can do about paradoxes. "If you're here already, there's not much we can do...I think." Damian was not an astrophysicist, but he did know of enough cautionary tales concerning time travel.

Andromeda has posed:
Laurel floats up towards the ceiling, her cape billowing for a moment. She pokes the ceiling with a finger. "What is this made of?" she wonders. She perrs at it. "Oh. That's a restroom right there. Hmm." A glance down to the Robin. "It's very difficult not to try to look through your mask." she says randomly.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
"I don't know, I didn't build it." Damian seethes a little more before continuing. "My mask is lead-lined, just like Batman's cowl." Among the other things that the Bat Family has at their disposal to keep their secret identities, Batman was serious about all the secrecy.

Andromeda has posed:
Laurel drifts down again and her cloak settles around her. "I think I should leave you alone now. I've seen pretty much everything interesting. I should've taken pictures, though."

She smiles. "It was very nice to meet you, Batm... er, Robin. If you need anything, jars opened, meteors swatted, whatever. Maybe shine a big L in the sky, or just shout loudly." and she shrugs. "You'll think of something."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
"Don't kill any butterflies on your way back, or...ever while you're here." Damian adds, looking. to Laurel with a slightly less grumpy tone than before.

Damian turns around, about to send the -nicest- email to the JLA concerning this Darkseid issue. So much so that he opts to grapple up instead of taking the elevator to the upper levels.
