Karen Page has posed:
It wasn't too long after the pizza party, and Karen's surprising windfall, that there comes a knock on Sarah's door - past suppertime, but not into the wee hours of night yet. About the time decent folks are settling down for bed, but haven't quite made it there yet.

Karen still felt a little shy about the whole endeavour, but she had wine! Wine made everything better. Or at least cut the ice when you were dropping in on neighbours who might have only been being polite when they said to drop on by. No pizza though.. Karen had splurged and gone for Chinese. Dinner for four, which everyone knew really translated into dinner for 2. Or 3 if you weren't particularly hungry. And who wans't hungry when they'd been drinking?

It had been entirely too long since she'd done something like this. She wasn't sure if she remembered how.

Rainmaker has posed:
After a moment you hear someone moving on the other side of the door, then the lock being pulled back before Sarah opens the door. Definitely dressed down at the moment, as she's got on some comfortable lycra exercise shorts and a slightly skimpy white tank top with a large 13 across it. "Karen, hey!" She tilts her head. "Come on in, I was just vegging in front of Netflix." she says cheerfully, motioning you inside.

Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin Fairchild comes out of her room when she hears someone come in, wearing a pair of grey sweatshorts and a long-sleeves shirt that says TALK NERDY TO ME in big letters across the chest. "Oh, Karen, hi!" she calls, waving. She has a laptop under her arm, flopping down on the couch and laying it across her lap as she gets to typing, "Hold on, I'm just checking my Tumblr real fast..."

Ghost Spider has posed:
A blonde head appears in the hall from up the stairwell, just in time to see the door to Sarah's apartment open and Karen invited in. She's not dressed very fancily: a dark blue knee-length skirt over pink leggings and a pink t-shirt printed with the word 'ODIN' over an image of a bowl of noodles screened below. A white hoodie, too, worn unzipped.

"Karen!" she calls and follows her roomate to the neighbors.

Karen Page has posed:
Karen is just about into the other girl's apartment when Gwen's call comes. "Oh, hey, want to join?" She's got Chinese and several bottles of wine. If the other girls have booze, they've the makings of a first rate party.

"Hey, Sarah. Cait. I just thought maybe since we're neighbours.. and since I ran into some extra cash.." She holds up the food and the drinks.

Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah raises a brow, peering out into the corridor as she holds the door for Gwen too, waiting until she's inside before closing and locking it up absently. "Sounds like fun actually! I could go for some hanging with wine and Chinese..." she says cheerfully, padding over to the kitchen to see if she can find some clean wine glasses. "Make yourself at home! I'll get some plates and stuff...

Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin Fairchild waves to Gwen, propping her giant-sized Pikachu slippers up on the table as she types away, flicking up and down the screen with a long finger. "Chinese food is always good. Szechuan, hopefully? Maybe some egg rolls?" she says with a grin, her hair tucked behind her ears.

Ghost Spider has posed:
"Thanks!" Gwen says as she jogs in, hurrying so Sarah doesn't have to hold the door for long. "What's going on, everyone? Chinese, you said? Great! And wine too? I hit the jackpot."

Karen Page has posed:
Karen shrugs and hands the bag off. "I have no clue. I just ordered from Ming's around the corner. Special dinner for four. They asked if I minded spicy?"

Gwen gets a smirk. "Hey, you. Thanks, by the way." Gwen being the reason for this windfall they're all reaping this evening.

"The wine's just plunk, but there's lots of it?"

Rainmaker has posed:
"I'm all for spicy...." Sarah says, coming back with a pair of wine glasses and a pair of glass tumblers. Classy! Also some paper plates and forks in case they shorted them in the CHinese bag. She plops down next to Caitlin, pulling her legs up so she's sitting crosslegged on her side. "So what jackpot did you hit?" she asks Karen curiously, handing her a corkscrew for the bottles.

Ghost Spider has posed:
"I made some new friends, Karen. I'll tell you about it sometime... when I decide if it all really happened or if someone slipped me something and I had a weird trip." Gwen says as she sits. "Spicy is good for me. After a little wine I don't think we'll care how spicy it is."

Karen Page has posed:
Gwen earns herself an arch of brow over the friends comment, but tucks it away for later consideration. "Well, it might be spicy," she warns the others, though it sounds like nobody is going to mind. The corkscrew is taken, then Karen laughs, holding out a bottle. "They're all screwtops?"

Karen opens a bottle and hands it around, opening a second and pouring herself a glass, then sets the bottle down.

Her glass lifted. "To Gwen, who made this all possible." She smiles brightly at her friend.

Rainmaker has posed:
"Does that make it extra classy?" Sarah says, taking a tumbler, letting Gwen or Cait get the other wine glass. "Here here...so who did you mug Gwen?" she teases, sipping the wine thoughfully, then going for the chinese as she starts unpacking it on the coffee table between everyone.

Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin Fairchild makes sure to grab a glass for herself, getting it rather full. She takes a bit more, given that she's bigger than the rest and weighs possibly as much as the other three combined with her muscle mass. "I'm sure she came by her money in a completely legal and licit fashion," she says, then looks at Karen, "You did, right?"

Ghost Spider has posed:
"Well, if it's from me it's the opposite of classy." Gwen says with a laugh. She pours herself half a glass, for now. "I helped someone. A little bodega across the street from the apartment of another friend of mine was getting robbed and I chased the guy off. So, the owner decided to reward me. He said he was going to lose all the money in his till that day until I came along, this way he only lost like half of it, which was a bargain." she says, looking a bit sheepish. "I tried to say no but he insisted. He's kinda a funny old tio."

Karen Page has posed:
Karen shrugs. "I'm going with the money was made legally, because otherwise I'm going to have to give it back." Though Gwen goes on to explain things, and really, if she thinks about it, they all made money grifting the pool players not so long ago, so maybe she's not really in a place to think about this too much..

Gwen's tale gets a smile. "Glad you found some work. And we're all paid up for the month. All we have to worry about is eating, and I did buy groceries." She did. A fair amount all things considered.

rSarah gets a laugh. "Oh, we're all goingn to be classy by the end of the evening. No doubt. Even more classy if you have booze lying around when we're done the wine."

Rainmaker has posed:
"We've got some...none of us are major drinkers..." Sarah admits with a shrugs. "I use the wine we have for cooking more than anything else." She grins a bit. "I think we have some rum though...." That she hid from Roxy. Wellll hidden. "It's nice he was willing to give you something for helping though...I hope your friend was alright?" she says, spooning out some General Tso's chicken onto one of the plates, then settling back to munch on it.

Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin Fairchild takes a sip of her wine, "Oh, there's always booze," she says, kicking her fuzzy slipper a little and grabbing a plate of food, "The people on this website are ridic-u-lous," she says, continuing to scroll through, apparently undeterred by the ridiculous people.

Ghost Spider has posed:
"People on websites usually are." Gwen points out. "What're they saying, though?" she wonders. She has a sip of her wine and then collects her own plate of food. "This all smells really good. I bet it tastes great too. good choice, K."

Karen Page has posed:
"Oh, I don't usually drink this much either, but it's a special occassion. All my bills are paid. There's food in the pantry and fridge, and I have bunches of new friends around me." Everyone is given a smirk, the woman waving the hand that isn't holding her wine cup (oh the indignity!), "Oh my God, someone open the food and start dishing it out before I knaw off my own left foot."

Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah looks amused and sets her own plate aside, then starts making plates for everyone, passing them out. "Just had to ask....hey, they've got eggrolls and crab rangoon in here too..." she says thoughfuly. "And rice, of course..." She sits back, tilting her head. "Sounds like a good reason to celebrate." She looks thoughful. "Hey, I meant to ask...where -do- you work? You mentioned your boss but not what you did exactly."
