Cast of Characters: Vincent Black, Jillian Holtzmann

Vincent Black has posed:
"STOP!" Vincent shouts as he rounds the corner of an alley way, involved in a pursuit on foot after a black haired perp with a tan hoodie on, worn baggie style who runs into a building and busts through the boarded up door and climbs quickly up the entry stair case.

Vincent rounds the corner and with his Police Issued Flashlight and firearm, held up and leveled to scan the stairs as he slowly climbs up the steps. Silent, vigilant, and ready to react to whatever situation might be on the other side of the doorways he's approaching.

Jillian Holtzmann has posed:
It was a dark apartment building that had been closed down last winter after reports of a gas leak inside of it had said that the whole place was unstable and causing its residents to suffer from halucinations and dementia, among other things. The place was closed, but the places next to it had been left open and these residents were always report strange noises and unexplainable activities happening inside the complex... most just wrote it off to rats and hobos though.

What Vincent, dutiful Police Officer that he was, found when he charged heroically through the doorway after the perp was... the Perp himself, frozen... completely and utterly still while in his running position... as if he'd been locked in place and in time itself.

And from around the Perp's left shoulder two golden glowing yellow eyes peered up and over it... looking back over at Vincent.

"Leeeeeeeeeeeave........" A disembodied voice filled the room, rumbling the walls and the old furniture still within it.

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent's gun and flashlight are leveled at the back of the perp before those eyes light up and he adjusts his aim towards the ... thing. "No. I am not doing that without my friend Brad here." Vinent says, leaving his gun and flash light pointed over Brad's shoulder.

"Now Brad, tell me who your friend is while I read you your miranda rights." The grizzled mutant says with a squint of his brown eyes towards the voice.

Jillian Holtzmann has posed:
When Vincent failed to comply to the wishes of the thing with the glowing gold eyes, thats when it gave up on 'Brad' and suddenly passed through him. Its body was only vaguely visibly outlined, with shoulders and chest that seemed to just evaporate the further down it went until there was nothing visible at all. It drew closer to Vincent and seemed to just be floating through mid air.

This was straight up a ghost! And it wasn't even Halloween yet!

The roaming vapor moved yet closer to Vincent and its gnarled long-and-boney spectral fingers rose up and reached out for the Cop... while Brad remained petrified and frozen.

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent pracitally rolls his eyes as this thing comes at him and scoffs, "Tony, Jeff, are you two fucking with me again?" He seems unperturbed by the approaching spectral being. He's lived quite a long time, likely longer than the thing itself has been a ghost. "I'm not afraid of you." Vincent replies one final time, keeping his weapon and light up but drawn back, much closer to his chest.

Jillian Holtzmann has posed:
That is essentially the reaction that 'Brad' had had, except... a lot more peeing of his pants when the ghost's hands went around his throat and he suddenly was frozen in mid-air!

And this is precisely what what its doing to Vincent now as well, since the brave cop did not turn tail and run away... it would advance right up onto him and its long ghostly arms would stretch out and wrap boney fingers about Vincent's neck!

"Look out!" A voice said from behind Vincent's left, coming in from an adjacent hallway, a woman, loaded with equipment that made her look like a pest control worker (which she kind of was!).

A second later and the room was filled with a blast of light and the entire atmosphere within the room would change, almost like the air was sucked out of it and replaced with completely different oxygen!

Vincent's been around long enough, so he'd know what he was seeing most likely... it was an honest to goodness, Ghostbuster, and she was firing a stream of charged protons right at the spectre that had been wanting to strangle him.

Vincent Black has posed:
It's cold. It's beyond cold. Vincent's breath is already taken from him as the hands he tried to prevent from touching him did exactly that and the gravity of the situation washes over the cop.

He looks over and closes his eyes when someone screams look out. He brings the side of the gun against his right ear and his flashlight holding left hand to his other ear.

In the stream of event, Vincent falls backwards and levels his gun and waits to pull the trigger but hesitates. It's a ghost, there isn't much he can do.

Jillian Holtzmann has posed:
Holtzmann's proton blast flies right through the spectre causing it to completely dematerialize right on front of Vincent as he'd aimed his gun at it!

The sound of the particle thrower deactivated with a whining hiss and Jillian's boots were all that was left making noise within the darkened old building... She rushed over to Vincent and eyed him from behind yellow-tinted goggles, a headlamp was on the side of her face and she shined it right into Vince's eyes.

The smell of strawberry bubblegum would be thick in the air, Holtz was chewing on it like a Major League player.

"Boy!" She said. "Look at you!" She reached out to pat Vincent's left shoulder several times. "You're whiter than an episode of Friends!" She was grinning ear to ear. "Don't worry, its gone."

She then lowered her hand out to him. "Holtzmann, Ghostbuster, scientist, skiier, collector of vintage ties, and parts of remote controlled railroad sets. NIce t'meet you." She had a strong Bostonian accent.

Brad was frozen still behind her, unmoving, puddle of pee around his feet.

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent blinks up at Holtzmann and shakes his head a few times, coughing before he leans up to sit on his butt and spit out onto the ground beside himself before pushing back to his feet and holstering his gun and flashlight. "Black. Um... Detective, time traveller, and warrior princess?" He says, furrowing his eyebrows, not sure how to respond to her words. He's obviously still shaken up but not so much so he can't do his job.

Vincent steps over to Brad and he shakes his head at the young man. "I know how you feel." Is all Vince says before cuffing the man and reading his Miranda rights.

"I would ask if you need help Hotzmann." Getting her name wrong but he did just go through an ordeal... And that thought slowly creeps up on him, and his eyes start to dart around rapidly, looking in every corner and shadow as if ... "NO." Vince growls at no one, a panic clearly starting to creep into his body language.

Jillian Holtzmann has posed:
"Black?" Holtz asked, living her goggles up to her forehead and looking at the man with her light blue eyes unshielded. "No. Thought my grandfather was part native american." She turned around to look at Brad as well and walked around him eye him from the side. "He's pretty shaken up, but he'll be better in an hour or so. You just kind of have to let him... thaw back out."

When the cop shouted though, she looked back at him and quickly drew one of her guns from behind the small of her back and aimed in in the direction that Vince was looking.

"Is it back?" She asked. "Did he bring friends?" Her other hand went up and pulled her goggles back down over her eyes... ready for business again.

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent fell back onto his backside, his eyes glazed over and his hands shaking, reaching for something that's no longer there. Or was it ever there. He's reaching for it like his life depends upon it. "No. Go! STOP!" Vincent bellows, his eyes beyond white and his head starting to tremor. It's then he realizes it's halucinations and he slams his eyes shut and reaches up to his temples with both of his hands.

Jillian Holtzmann has posed:
Holtzmann sighed as she saw it happening to him and she walked to his side to help over to a chair. "Come on, big fella." She said at him. "You're in a hunted house... and no, not one of those ones that teenagers go to around this time of year to smoke pot and pay fifty dollars to get scared by a bunch of Dad Bods in the dark." She'd make sure he was on the chair when she pulled a device off of her belt.

The device was held up to Vincent's nose and she activated it, sending a bright blue light across his face and into his eyes. "This'll help." She said to him in her Bostonian voice. "Just gotta get ye back down to the rest of us on Earth here."

"How many fingers am I holding up?" Two black gloved fingers were in front of his eyeholes.

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent's palms were pressed against his head as he tries to fight back the images his mind was playing across his eyes. The device isn't even noticed by the cop until the lights pass over his face and the man tries to shake away from it but her words were comforting enough to convince him to put up with it. She is a ghostbuster, why would she lie?

"I think it looks like two, but it's a very dark room Ghostbuster." Vincent says in a very deadpan voice with a groan in his throat.
