Date of Scene: 17 October 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Ravenna Levesque, Ares

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
The skull has been with Ravenna for a while now, and she had spent what time she can studying it. While she dug up what she could in her aunt's library, there are things she was not prepared to try. She knew a scry spell might give her more information, but they're not her forte, and if it went wrong, she has a feeling it would go terribly wrong. No one has time for magical bleeding skulls to go terribly wrong.

Ravenna is covering for her aunt today after working all night at Lux. So she's still dressed in a form fitting cocktail dress and her hair is pulled off of her face. She has a glass of wine next to her on the counter that she's sipping while going over the books.

Ares has posed:
The tall man had stated he would check back in a week's time roughly, and to be fair it had been a bit longer than that. But other matters had drawn his attention, and on some level the skull was a thing that seemed to balk at the mind's efforts to recall it. At least for him. He would find himself at times tilting his head curiously at the card that Ravenna had provided him, trying to recall how it had come into his possession. And yet...
Then the door to the shop opened with a faint jangle, heralding his arrival. Not dressed as he had been when they had first met, gone for now are the casual jeans and the flannel overshirt. Instead he's wearing something akin to a suit though the jacket was held and tucked under his arm, the colours of it dark and primarily grey. But she may well remember him despite the change of garb.
A few steps carries him towards the counter where she enjoys her wine and he gives her a nod as he approaches. "Ms. Levesque."

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
Ravenna looks up as the shop bell rings and tilts her head. It takes her a second to place a name with the face, since she's only seen it once. It only takes a second to remember his face and how it was related to the creepy skull in the back room. "Ah yes, Mr Aaron. So good to see you, are you here to reclaim your skull?" She takes a sip from her glass and sets it down, looking toward the back room and nodding.

"I am more than happy to give it over, it's an unsettling artifact. I know I've only scratched the surfce of what it might be, but I have a feeling if I delved further, it could be dangerous." She closes the ledger she was working on and tilts her head at John. "Unless you've come for another reason."

Ares has posed:
A small smile flickers into being for a moment at the first of her words, then he offers a small nod, "I have come to see what may have come to your attention in regards to it." He looks to the side, calm gaze sweeping the room as he strolls up and stops before the counter. Dark brown eyes level upon her and he nods once then murmurs, "I would have arrived earlier to hear of your findings, but I have found that it is difficult to summon the thing's existence back to my mind when it is out of my presence."
A small card is produced from his pocket and he sets it down before her, displaying to her the shop's information though it's a bit more dog-eared than it was when she presented it to him. "It is thanks to your card that I even remembered to return." He gives a small nod, "The recollection of yourself aided me, however."
Resting his hands upon the counter he meets her gaze, "So if you would, please tell me what you may have found."

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
Reaching down into a a drawer, she pulls a thin notebook out the drawer and flips through a few pages. Grabbing a near by pen, she clicks it abenstly while he talks. His words cause her brows to furrow and she quickly scribbles down the information. "Really? You cannot see the skull, and when you're away from it, it slips from your mind? How curious." Her notes are quick, but he'll notice that the page is not full.

"I've been told that I am unforgettable, but I am glad that the card was there to jog your memory. Why don't you follow me to the back where I'ev been keeping the artifact." To keep it away from paying eyes of course. Her hand reaches out and she flicks her wrist, causing the open sign to flip to closed and the door to lock itself. "If you'll follow me. I haven't found much, which probably means it's not only powerful but dangerous. However there might be something with in that proves to be useful, it's just getting it to reveal it's secrets is going to be the hard part."

Ares has posed:
A nod of agreement is given as she relates his words back to him, his brow furrowing as he looks down upon the small pad, tilting his head slightly as he attempts to decipher her notes. But then he gives a small nod and looks up, again meeting her gaze. "You are, indeed, a very comely woman, Ravenna. But I fear that something about this thing ill fits my ability to perceive it and such things around it."
He pushes away from the counter, walking after her calmly as he takes a few moments to consider the surroundings of that shop, nothing jumping out to him immediately... or at him either. He sweeps his attention back to the woman and adds, "If needs be I can make myself available for whatever tests you would wish to run."
That having been said he'll pause when she does and await for her to lead him where she would wish to, his footsteps quiet as he moves. "I would know what grants the thing its power and whose creature or belonging it might be."
