Date of Scene: 04 November 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Feral, Shatterpoint

Feral has posed:
Tossing and turning on the lawn of a grassy park, one of Mutant Town's more colorful residents is fighting the approach of dawn. Propped slightly against a tree, at first glance her distinctive stripes easily mistake her for a tiger at a distance but as she kicks and murmurs restlessly, her thick, sinewy frame betrays more human proportions. This one's a weretiger.

Snorting awake with a start, she reaches a hand up to her eyes and rubs them blearily before peering around with sharp orange eyes. "<Ugh... morning already?>" she grumbles, starting the day with her native Russian as she pushes herself with an arm and stretches out her spine. The tiger-woman's fur is a matted mess, unevenly flattened and puffed in places.

Opening her mouth wide to show a thick pair of fangs, Vanya's tongue lulls down her chin as she lets out a hearty, roaring yawn.

Shatterpoint has posed:
Out at dawn is Caroline's motto, and has been for... Well, if you count only the time on Earth, all of her life. Before, she was an early riser, always getting to work early in order to do literally anything she could. Now? Now she doesn't sleep, at least not anymore. It makes things... All the more interesting, and also all the more simple in terms of being awake at dawn.

Strolling through the park and giving off a mildly glum atmosphere in her sunglasses, black sweater, and black jeans, the morning sun only offsetting this slightly. She notes a voice, turning, and for a moment she wonders if an actual tiger has escaped from a zoo. Yet, when it moves, she recognizes, and seems to take little notice otherwise. After all, she is in mutant town, and has met more than one mutant- and one of those mutants was even a form of cat person, himself.

Feral has posed:
Groggily scratching her side, the tiger-woman continues the process of slowly and unwillingly greeting the world around her. Her nose twitches as she sniffs the dew-soaked air, then planes out to give her fur a good shake. More grumbling in Russian proceeds before the werebeast notices she's not completely alone.

The strolling detective is given a curious glance and a momentary once-over as the cat rises to her feet and continues working loose her joints. She's definitely human, and also naked.

Well, mostly naked. Fur counts, right?

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline is almost halfway unassuming... To the naked eye. The issue is that she carries herself in a way that belies a lot of physical experience. Her muscles are loose and ever-ready. Then, there's just this... This air about her. Frankly, she might -look- normal, but for someone who has instincts beyond those of a normal person... She is absolutely imposing. She -feels- dangerous, even if she doesn't really -look- like it.

Regardless of that, she seems relatively content to let sleeping cats lie, and doesn't seem to be overly interested in disturbing Vanya. As well, she probably doesn't speak Russian.

Feral has posed:
"Hmm?" It's not the coat, it's not the hair, but Caroline catches the tiger's eye and with the bored curiosity of a predator at ease in her own domain, the werebeast begins to wander after her.

Vanya's quiet footsteps sound prominently in the morning stillness, a stealthy beast making careless noise.

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline admittedly is wearing almost tourist levels of attire. She's underdressed, seeing as it's bound to be amazingly cold, this time of year. A sweater and some jeans? People are wearing thick jackets and boots, whereas she has something far less protecting, despite that her hands remain in her pockets.

She also has very, very good hearing. When it starts to seem that she's being followed, Caroline offers a short pause, after only a short few moments. She turns around, her brow raising, inquisitively. She has not spoken yet.

Feral has posed:
Loping along behind, Vanya's progressed to rolling her shoulder by the Caroline turns around. The weretiger pauses as well and offers a smile that's too fanged to really be reassuring. "Dobroye utro," she greets casually, taking another opportunity to scent the air and catch the detective's trail.

"It is a little early for a morning walk, no? What do you turn into?"

Shatterpoint has posed:
The woman turns fully, her brow rising only somewhat above the blackness of her sunglasses. She remains silent, it seems, all throughout, listening to the entire statement, and question after... Before offering this little shrug, and shake of her head.

Apparently, she doesn't turn into anything.

Feral has posed:
The werewoman huffs softly in disappointment and sets a hand on her hip. The light from a distant street lamp catches her eyes just slightly and makes one of them shine. "Nothing? Well you have a good smell at least..."

The tigress pauses to turn her head and let out another large yawn, perhaps inadvertently giving Caroline a front-row view to her fangs. The werewoman's breath also carries a perceptible hint of beer.

"Guh, too early. No good food at this hour."

Shatterpoint has posed:
Admittedly, Caroline isn't -breathing- so she won't notice any smell coming from the woman, or her breath, until she tries to speak. Which, she isn't in a rush to do. She notes the fangs, but to Caroline, she doesn't perceive much of a threat from them. Vanya doesn't have a very hostile air ro her- or if she does, Caroline seems unbothered by it. She shrugs, again, having... Little knowledge of what food is around. She gestures to a restaurant or two, which in mutant town would be tiger-woman friendly. It's the best she can to.

Feral has posed:
Vanya waves off the choices dismissively. "No good," she replies while cocking her head at the mute woman. The tigress' ear twitches as she peers more intently, as if to see through the obscuring black garbs.

"Hmph... so what are you? You look like a zombie with no coffee."

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline was not familiar with the term before she came back from Apokolips. After all- it didn't enter the American vernacular until about ten years after she disappeared. She brings a hand out of her pocket, and tilts it back and forth, in some form of impassive agreement with the other woman's statement.

Feral has posed:
"I vy nemoy," the tigress grumbles under her breath at the reply. "And mute too? No speak English? <And you don't speak Russian?>"

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline clearly understands the Tiger, but she just doesn't -speak-. Which, really, is probably more infuriating than simply not having the lingual capability.

Feral has posed:
An annoyed little growl escapes the tigress' mouth as she frowns mildly. "No fun..." she whines as she sizes the black-dressed woman up again and her dangling hand flexes to loosen itself up. Vanya may be considering a bad idea.

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline is neither blind, nor stupid. She knows when someone's limbering up for something more violent than simply conversing, and though she can't necessarily see the hand directly, she can see the small muscles along the side of the arm flexing along with the hand itself. To say that Caroline is in a combative stance would be incorrect. To say that she is not prepared for a fight, grossly, horrifically more incorrect. She doesn't -want- one, but she is ready for Vanya to make the first move.

Feral has posed:
Tension hangs in the air as Vanya stills again but keeps intently focused on the woman before her. A small breeze blows down the sidewalk, fluttering loose fabric and playing through fur as the tigress breathes short and controlled, primed to lash out.

And then she grins easily and shrugs her shoulders before tucking both hands behind her head. "You noticed that, da? Maybe you are a little fun," the werebeast chuckles easily as her tail sways widely behind her.

Shatterpoint has posed:
To this, Caroline says basically nothing. The thing of it is, though- she is not really -looking- for a fight, so she does the only thing that really comes natural in this instance. She turns, and starts to walk away. Sure, maybe Vanya has reconsidered her opinion of Caroline's fun-factor, but a fight in the morning is not how Caroline wants to progress her day. Though, admittedly, turning her back on Vanya may not be the way to stop one from happening.

Feral has posed:
"Yeah, yeah, you go be quiet somewhere else," Vanya calls mirthfully to the retreating woman. There's no claw at her back or suddenly lash of sinew. The tigress had done her playing - for now.

After taking a moment to inspect Caroline from another angle - nope, still no tail or extra limbs - the were-woman looks around the park and then heads off in a random direction. It's time to follow her nose to some breakfast.
