Ford Benett (187) has posed:
The movie lot being used to film the new remake of the old cult classic, The Terror, had been left mostly in tact for the investigation around the murderous movie star, Ford Benett. Ever since the release of the video clearly showing him attacking fellow actress and leading lady, Cara Sinirez, the lot has been mostly empty for investigation purposes. And on a night like tonight, it's dead silent and totally empty.

Well... save for one figure lurking through the dark. Making his way over the police tape and past the familiar set, Ford himself has returned to the scene of his crime. Too dark to properly wear sunglasses, Ford has opted instead to just go as himself and let the darkness handle his disguise! Making his way through the movie site, Ford paused as he passed the set and the chalk outline of his fellow actress, pointing his flashlight at the lines and grimacing. "..." Someone had to have disguised themselves as him perfectly to get his fingerprints on the murder weapon. It was the only way. He ran through the events of that again as he started to make his way to the old trailer he had been using the day of the murder... he wanted to have another look around the place without interference.

Of course, he tried to keep his flashlight from giving himself away... but with plenty of metal equipment, some was bound to reflect and catch attention.

Ravager has posed:
Rose Wilson is in disguise this time, unlike the first time she met Ford, and is masked as a mysterious figure in black and orange. She has been following Ford to the murder site, having taken an interest in it, maybe because she suspects something is going on or maybe because she feels bad for Ford. Sticking to the all-concealing shadows, she sneaks through the movie lot without much trouble, jumping over a fake, paper mache rock and climbing on top of a movie star's camper so she can watch where Ford is going more closely. In the moonlight, she observes Ford look over his crime with his flashlight, and edges down the camper so she can get a closer look at the scene of the crime too.

Till (222) has posed:
....Hey, how'd that kid get in here?

There's a little brown-haired kid in here, maybe late teens in age. Pixyish face, but still definitely a boy. His t-shirt, coat, jeans, and sneakers looked like they'd seen better days. He looks relatively unassuming, just a little brown-haired teen.

Question is, how the hell did he get in?!

He's wandering over in the vague direction of the chalk outline. And he doesn't appear to have seen Ford or Rose just yet...

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
Standing outside his trailed, Ford ran his flashlight over the place, before slipping closer to the door, utterly unaware of Rose hanging out on the roof of a nearby camper, or the flower faerie creeping up on the outline. Though, if Rose isn't careful, she might find herself stepping onto what appears to be a slick of... mud? On the roof of the camper? No... on closer inspection, the consistancy is closer to... clay! A strange, light brown clay, with a strange, paste-like touch to it. Too smooth for modeling...

Running his light along the door, Ford stopped to spy the costume he'd been using for the movie. It was a little shredded. A real mess, but that's how they wanted it. Mimicked the style of the old costume used for the last movie. Ford recalled dropping it as he was rushing to the set before the... stabbing. What a minute! Ford knelt down a bit closer, checking his costume again. Scrapes and tears over it... but otherwise clean. And it was the only one they had for filming.

If he'd stabbed that actress... where was the blood!?

Ford turned and stood up, heading back to the chalk outline to check something. His mind was already replaying the video over again. He saw it. "He" tackled Ms. Sinirez and stabbed her several times... if that was the case. Ford approached the outline again, the blood stains showing up very vividly, despite being dried out. But his light zipped towards Till a moment. Did he see something!?

Ravager has posed:
Rose Wilson slowly creeps toward the edge of the camper and pulls her dangerous-looking sword from her back, maybe ready to catch Ford trying to cover up some evidence, like a jerk. As she squats at the edge of the camper's roof, she steps in the clay and she looks down at it, putting her hand in it. She brings her fingers up and looks at it more closely, thinking about it and considering it some more, maybe wondering how Ford put it there. She then frowns and wonders if something more is going on here. She looks wide-eyed as Ford looks around for someone, hoping she doesn't have to stop him from killing again! She grits her teeth.

Till (222) has posed:
"Gah!" A light is shined in Till's face, and the teen brings his hands up to shield his eyes. Yeah, he's not being very subtle right now. But he just got a light shined in his eyes! Of course he's gonna holler a little!

"Can you put that light off my face, please?" the teen asks. "It's really uncomfortable, and I can't see where I'm going." Duly, Till has stopped walking, and stands there in place, waiting for the light to be turned away.

...He's also a sitting duck, if Ford (or anyone else) DOES decide to attack him. He's out in the open, and hasn't attempted to move from the light's illuminated area...

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
Ford stopped at the sight of a teen boy demanding to have the light taken off his face. He stood, blinking a bit before recoiling slightly to keep hsi face in the dark. "Who in the heck are you? And what are you doing here, this is the site of a murder!" Ford asked, clearing his throat a bit before directing the light to the outline again. "See this? All this blood? A lady named Cara Sinirez was killed here... and I'm trying to figure out who."

Ford turned his light back to the lower part of the teen, trying to get a good look at him. "Who are you?" Well, from Rose's vantage point, Ford seems more bewildered and caught off guard than murder-prone. But with the slight extra light, she may notice something else in the area. Something moving. And BIG! And vaguely humanoid. And heading right up behind the teen boy Ford is talking to!

Ravager has posed:
Rose Wilson seems to pause as Ford starts to argue with the innocent boy, maybe threatening him, although at least Ford isn't stabbing him. After considering the clay again, she looks up just in time to notice something in the all-concealing shadows near the innocent, teen boy! Oh no! She becomes taken with doing something and leaps off the camper, heading toward Ford and Till in order to find out what's going on, but she can't make it. She'll never make it before Ford and Till are murdered by the shadowy man, or whatever it is, "Watch out!" she calls out, hoping to gain a few more seconds before something bad happens.

Till (222) has posed:
Till blinks when the light's put away from his face. "Thank you," he says. Now he's got to let his eyes adjust to the light again. But there are questions to answer, too! "I'm called Trevor," he offers. "Trevor Blomgren. And yeah, I know it's a murder. That's why I came to look. I'm curious." Yeah, that's just the most perfect reason ever for a teenager to be walking the site of a murder scene, innit? </sarcasm>

He also doesn't seem to be aware of the thing rushing up behind him...

Not until Rose calls out, that is. 'Trevor' turns, green eyes wide with surprise. He only sees the shadowy figure rushing up close, and emits a shocked yelp! Visibly unarmed and not leaping to use any blasting power, it looks like he's a sitting duck.

But something weird suddenly starts happening. The weeds growing through the cracks of the lot start growing incredibly fast. And they start trying to weave themselves together into a 'net' of sorts between the shadowy figure and the boy! They're just weeds, though... super-strength could tear through them easily. But it's a few seconds that shadowy figure will need to waste.

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
As the big figure comes lumbering up behind Till, apparently intent on slamming him with what looks like something heavy, he seems caught offguard by the shout coming from the side, which gives the weeds enough time to grow up and form a net of plant life to defend the boy. The figure suddenly finds his big block slamming down... and splattering apart! The strange goop that smatters around the place makes strange gushy noises, the figure ripping whatever is in his hand free of the weed net and retreating back into the shadows.

Ford, for his part, is incredibly startled by all this nonsense.. but his first instinct is to grab Trevor and move him away from the danger! Real hero both on and off the set, isn't he? "Stay back, kid! Whoever this is, he isn't gonna kill me!" His flashlight waves about in the dark, briefly highlighting Rose a moment and making him blink, before ushering Trevor back. "Looks like we've got more company... stick with me, we'll get out of here."

And that's when things get curious. "Stick with me, we'll get out of here." Ford's exact words echo back perfectly from the darkness. Shocked, Ford immediately trained his light on the source, illuminating... himself. Yes! It's a perfect duplicate of himself! And evidently, it sounds like him too! "Pretty good deductions... more to you than a pretty face, isn't it?" The double asked, starting to circle as Ford kept himself between Trevor and his copy. "Not hard to figure out... that day on the set, I remember feeling real tired after lunch... that was a narcotic, slipped by you, wasn't it?"

"Ford" shrugged and smiled back. "Clever, right? Got you out of the way and let me retake the screen once again." Ford smirked back. "Also revealed your motives. You aren't just out to get rid of me... you're sabotaging the movie, aren't you? If it was just me, you could've gotten rid of me in my trailer that day." The fake Ford laughed. "You're a regular detective type, aren't you?" Ford smirked wider. "One good thing about being an actor: you get real good and figuring out motivations."

Ravager has posed:
With a rush of adrenaline, Rose leaps over a bush and seems ready to cleave whoever it is threatening the young boy. She grabs Fake-Ford's shirt as he rants and raves about his master plan, "You're a real good supervillain, aren't you jackass?" she asks sarcastically, smirking as she grabs at the Fake-Ford.

Rose tries to turn the supervillain around so she can stab him in the stomach, but sees who it is and pauses, "I knew it! You!" she says upon seeing Ford but then frowns, "Hey wait," she begins in a confused way, "What's going on...?" she wonders, darting her eyes between the Fords.

Till (222) has posed:
Till is suddenly incredibly confused! First there's a thing trying to kill him, then there's a guy pulling him back from... himself?! What even the heck?! Double trouble!

Rose's words get a warning from Till. "Stay back from him!" And in fact Till is actually backing away from the real Ford. "One of them killed the victim!" Does he know which one? Nope. But he knows that staying back is probably a good idea!

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
As Rose reaches to pull Fake Ford around and stab him, she seems caught in surprise that it's... Ford?! The double just smiles at her. "Ah!, A volunteer! My dear, you'll make a great leading lady... and this is the part where the monster slays his next victim!" Fake Ford's shoulder suddenly starts to bubble and morph, turning into a strange light brown clay material and crawling quickly up the arm she grabbed him with, immediately starting to cover up her head and suffocate her. "Another tragic victim left dead by the terrible murderer, Mr. Ford Benett."

But just as Rose goes limp and starts to collapse, the real Ford dashed forward (with impressive speed, to be sure!) and reeled back a fist, decking his duplicate in the face... and practically shattering him all over the set! "Nope! This is where the bold hero saves the lady, and his young friend gets her to safety while he battles the villain!" he said, rolling his neck before taking a readied martial arts stance. "Hey, kid. Trevor, right? You heard me. Get this lady outta here and leave this sad sack of muck to me." As he spoke, the clay on the ground started to shudder and slowly clamber back, reconverging in a large mound. Even the clay suffocating Rose melted and swam away, reforming into a large figure made of the stuff, about the same size as the one before that tried to attack Trevor from behind. No longer soudning like Ford, he growled at the actor. "How noble. Played the hero so long, you think you actually are one." it grumbled in a hefty voice. "So, freak show... you show your true form! Got a name just as ugly to match?"

The clay monster chuckled before replying. "Yes... once, it was Basil Karlo. But now... you may call me Clayface!" Ford's cocky expression dropped to one of dumbfounded shock at the name. "Basil Karlo... no... no, that... you're dead... been dead... for 49 years!"

Till (222) has posed:
Till doesn't wait to be told twice! He nods at the request, and quickly ducks down, zipping across the floor to where Rose is. He's being quiet, hopefully that will mean Ford can keep the... gaaaah what is thaaaaat?! Well, hopefully Ford can keep it busy.

In the meantime, Till tries to lift the downed Rose and pull her off the set. He's not super-strong, but hopefully he'll be able to get her off the set and out of danger!

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
Trevor has little trouble getting Rose up, though she does seem to be sticky with some of that clay still on her body. Thankfully, it doesn't seem sentient like the creature who left it. "Leaving so soon!? But this is a private screening!" Clayface yelled and reached up, his massive clawed hand growing to massive size before being pointed and extended towards the fleeing duo!

That is, until Ford leaps in and keeps the villain from grasping them. Whatever he's doing, the heavy weight of the hand doesn't budge him in the slightest! Like he was rooted to the ground, or made of granite! Retracting his no splattered hand, Clayface growled at the actor. Now Ford was covered in this gunk... but at least Trevor and Rose had a clear shot to the safety of the streets beyond! "I don't know if you're Karlo or not... but I know you won't kill me. You need me to keep this murder charade up!" Clayface just laughed. "Haaaaaaahahaha! Charade?! My sad simpleton, this is no charade! I will see this production stopped... with or without you!" Ford rushed in to clash with the clay monster as Trevor managed to drag Rose to safety. Evidently, something big was going on behind the scenes!

Till (222) has posed:
There's really nothing Till can do about being grabbed at. About all he does is turn so that whatever Clayface intends to happen to them happens to him first. Maybe he can keep it from happening to Rose!

Thankfully though, Ford stops it! Somehow. Till stops a moment... he doesn't like the idea of leaving Ford here alone with this thing... but Rose needs help too!

Ultimately the decision is made for him, and he continues out of the set with Rose. Maybe he can come back to help later, after he's sure she's all right...
