Synopsis: Betsy and Peter visit with Logan
Cast of Characters: Wolverine, Psylocke, Spider-Man

Wolverine has posed:
Looking up at the clear, blue sky, Logan inhales deeply. Which was funny, because he was currently smoking a fine, Cuban cogar. The notion of him inhaling a deep breath of fresh air was spoiled at the sweet smell of cigar smoke. WIth a casual smile, and a look, Logan appears to be enjoying himself. Now that was...different.

Logan was currently wearing jeans, a white t-shirt, and a dark brown leather jacket as well as a well worn pair of leather boots. Sunglasses were covering his eyes, and his hand was caressing the fine cigar he was currently smoking.

Psylocke has posed:
Betsy was a little surprised at the invitation but she wasn't one to decline when there were no classes to worry about. Currently there was some disagreement about holidays and decorations at the apartment so it was good to get out. A chance to find out about what has lured Logan to the frigid north again was a bonus.

Betsy is dressed like she is positive she is going to freeze to death at any moment. The jacket is heavy and filled with down, covering her form fully and fastened up the front. She apparently has on jeans going by the material visible from her knee down but that's about it for knowing what's under the large purple jacket. As the smoke from the cigar shifts her way, she takes a step to the side to avoid it blowing right in her face.

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter Parker had his camera slung around his neck. Because it was so bright, he could afford to go to one of his cheaper lenses. It was so strange. As Spider-Man, all he used was the expensive ones that were good at dealing with low light conditions. It was rare that he got to enjoy a sunny day. He wore a striped shirt, a sea green at the top, followed by a white bar, followed by a violet line, followed by another white line. It had a white collar, and the pattern followed on the sleeves, where were short, and only extended to the violet line, with no second white line. Below that, he had a brown belt, blue jeans, and brown shoes.

"You know, that stuff will kill you," Peter cracked as he blew away a little of the cigar smoke. He smiled and looked to Betsy, "you sure you're not too hot in that getup, Betsy?" It was somewhere in the low 50's, Fahrenheit, right now. Peter's shirt was the kind a rugby player might wear, so he wasn't too cold. He was wishing he had chosen long sleeves, but that's about it.

Wolverine has posed:
Logan ignores the jibe from Parker. Kill him. It would take a truckload of cigars, chained to a tank full of nuclear explosives, and with several IEDs, to kill Logan. Or at least that was what Logan suspects.

"Warm day." Logan enjoys the feel of the west coast wind in his hair. Although a bit cool, this was the weather that he truly loves. His voice carries to Parker and Betsy, followed quickly by his eyes. Taking the cigar out of his mouth, Logan exhales in the cool temperatures once more, the smoke mingling with the cloud of vapor from his breath, and he shrugs as he aims the smoke /away/ from Betsy this time. That was as close to an apology that she would get.

"You kids enjoying the west coast fresh air?" Logan returns the cigar to his mouth, and inhales deeply. "This air is certainly crisp. Reminds me of home..."

Psylocke has posed:
"I'm just fine," Betsy responds to Peter. She isn't really hot in her jacket. True, it isn't as cold as she had suspected it would be but that doesn't mean she's giving up her jacket. The blouse beneath wouldn't be able to handle the chill. Actually the woman in the blouse wouldn't. The blouse would probably fare just fine.

"It seems lovely, I haave to say," Betsy says as she glances around at the area they are visiting. "The countryside is beautiful. I can see why you love it. Although you tended to prefer a bit more wilderness, yes?"

Spider-Man has posed:
Not really knowing much about the school's special activities, since he was just a teaching assistant for the past two semesters, even though he ended up teaching a course halfway through the first, Peter asked, "ah, where abouts are you from, Logan?" He didn't even know the man's first name. He asked someone once and was told that it was just Logan. Best not to dig too deeply into that one. "It's beautiful, so green up here. And... they must really like their coffee." At one point, he had seen a street that had a Starbucks on each corner, and there was a sign suggesting there was a Starbucks inside of a Chapter's Book Store, in the middle of the street. Across the street, there was another Starbucks and a Seattle's Best Coffee.

Wolverine has posed:
"Yeah, I'm more a' wilderness type, than tha' city, Bets." Logan smiles and pulls the cigar out of his mouth. His eyes lock onto Parker when he next speaks, and Logan shrugs. "Somewhere in Canada, kid. West o' Toro-ana." Toronto. "It was so long ago..." Logan gets a distant look in his eyes, and his face furrows in concentration.

Coffee...Logan snorts, and shakes his head. "That they do, kid. Coffee keeps 'em warm and conscious. Heh." Logan motions to the nearest coffee spots, and says, "I see ya' eyeing 'em, Parker. Wanna coffee?"

Psylocke has posed:
She hadn't shared much information about the team or the private goings-on at the mansion, something that weighed heavily on Betsy. With her relationship, she felt she was keeping important secrets that he deserved to know. Glancing away as Logan discusses the past, she goes through that little battle with herself over what is right and what is necessary. Maybe she should talk to the Professor and Scott about revealing their secrets to Peter.

At the mention of coffee, she looks back to the pair and wrinkles her nose just slightly in distaste. It apparently ranks right up there with cigar smoke.

Spider-Man has posed:
Of course, that secrecy stuff was a two-way street. He had trusted her with his secret, but he wasn't ready to trust others with it, just as he hadn't trusted hers with anyone. He knew there were some mutants among the faculty of a largely pro-mutant school, but because you taught, didn't mean you dressed up in blue and yellow spandex, or whatever colours were deemed appropriate.

"I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I have developed quite the taste for tea." Seeing a local, the Admiral, he gestured towards it, "I have been dying to taste that poutine I've heard so much about. Maybe they have it in there?" And of course, Wolverine could get a Molson's, or whatever it was he drank.

Wolverine has posed:
"Yeah. I understand Bets." Logan grins at her reaction. "Not one fer coffee, but I bet they got a mean draft at that pub over there." Logan nods towards the local establishment just down the road. "We could tie one off there, and move into the rest o' tha' tour, later?" Logan pauses, takes a puff of the cigar, and peers at Betsy through half-lidded eyes. "I hear ya' can toss a mean set o' darts..." Logan grins.

"Tea. Uh huh." Logan takes a minute. Looks at the kid. Sniffs. Looks at Psylocke. Blinks. Frowns. Shakes his head. Winks at her. Grins, and shakes his head again. "Think ya' can handle something stronger, kid...like Kokanee, since they ain't got Keith's out here ah' bet?" Logan pauses, and adds, "...if not, we kin get ya' some tea." Logan chuckles, and moves towards "The Admiral".

Psylocke has posed:
"Yes, tea. There is nothing wrong with it." Betsy says, seeing the lightbulb go off over Logan's head. "You might try it sometime instead of alcohol. Although a good beer--or a bad one in some cases--does have it's own appeal at times." At the comment about darts, she actually smiles. "I'll be glad to take you on anytime. Peter gets to challenge the winner." She's seen him sling a web. She has no doubt he can throw darts accurately. Might be fun to find out though.
Linking her arm with Peter's, she gives him a smile. "It's up to you. Don't let him pressure you."

Spider-Man has posed:
"Coke-a-what?" Peter replies, never having heard of it before. "Uh, sure... I think." He was expecting some high alcoholic beverage, not something pretty typical of Canadian major branded beers." Though he'd prefer the tea. He was never one for alcohol. It just never appealed to him, and he was raised to be straight as an arrow. "Can I get the winner?" He asked about the darts. Really, for him it was a question of, would he purposefully fail, or would he more than likely win, given his spider-coordination, plus, years of firing off weblines. He was pretty accurate with that sort of thing. Darts was a different movement, but he would probably be like Dr. Bashir on Deep Space Nine. He was glad that Betsy gave him an in. He grinned some, linking arms with Betsy, "oh, the thought never entered my mind." He could swear he heard Logan growl slightly at that, and he made a spooked face.
