Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Robin (Wayne), Raijin

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Titans Tower at night is a very different thing. Most of it's inhabitants are out for the night, but of course, Robin is not one for mush socialization. He had been on monitor duty tonight, which meant he actually turned on a remote program that sent information to his gauntlet should there be a situation.

Robin had been doing other things, working on his Redbird, and doing research on what he could do concerning another matter of Apokaliptian tech. After an hour or so, Damian had taken a break for some tea, carrying a pot from the kitchen, his boots clomp in the most satisfying of ways in the silence of the tower.

Raijin has posed:
It would have been silent...we?re it not for Rayner arriving after a rather interesting interview from Starfire. That was combat related. His dark robes with the blue trim that was supposed to represent lightning were more tattered than before, having seen Starfire's wrath.

Given a guest pass for the Tower, Rayner explores what he's Allowed to, though this has him meet Robin as he enjoys the silence. "Oh hey." He greets casually. And just in case little ninja gets aggressive, he takes out the card in question.

"don't mind me...just looking about."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin's calmed demeanor suddenly changes once Rayner joins in. His eyes get smaller with a slight scowl, and the subtle smile suddenly just goes away. White eyes look over the guest in the tower. "And who the hell are you?" He is quite aggressive enough, it seems.

Robin had plenty of time to size up this guy, though his expression doesn't change much. "

Raijin has posed:
Raijin's eyes narrow at Robin at his aggressive response before he answers. "The name's Raijin." Named after the Japanese god of thunder huh? Curious. Regardless, his arms disappear under his cloak of tattered robes.

"and who are you supposed to be kid?" He sees the R on his suit and he tilts his head. No way that could be the infamous boy wonder...could it?

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin takes a moment to set down his tray of tea and mug calmly. He walks up to Rayner, unamused. "You aren't a god. Gaijin is a more fitting name."

As to the question of who Damian is, the young teen only responds. "If you don't know this uniform, you have no business in the Tower."

Raijin has posed:
Raijin simply looks down at the younger hero. "Don't blame me for the name. Blame the Asian couple I saved from a chemically enhanced goon. The name stuck. Second, I could care less who you are. If you don't want me here, then be sure to tell team lead or your teammates not to extend the invite." He stands his ground, clearly not intimidated.

"It's fine, equally disappointed. Feelings mutual." Then his cold exterior breaks and he offers a smile. "That was fun. Anyway, Starfire said I should meet people. Though you look a second away from trying to stab me with everything in the room." He jabs in a jestful manner. Clearly a more lighthearted soul.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The scowling eyes suddenly give way to wide and full of rage. The gall of anyone to give him this much guff. It's a matter of pride at this point. "Robin, son of Batman, combat expert." Robin of course, had no powers, and felt that this placed him in a higher echelon within the group considering the amount of training he has gone through.

"Not everything in the room, just all of the spoons in the kitchen."

Raijin has posed:
Even though Robin clearly looked upset, Raijin saw this flaw...his pride. While he doesn't point it out, he keeps a good smile for him and remains friendly. Though what could have been different about Rayner is that he treated Damian like an adult.

Then he hears he's Batman's kid. Batman has a kid? Batman has a kid. "Oh? You're Batman's kid? Neat." He says approvingly. He doesn't question it...he has the scowl that he hears the dark knight is infamous for.

"ooo spoons. Grotesque. Can't do me the honor of stabbing me with a spork? Oh what cruel fate." Eventually he busts up laughing. "Ah. Nice to meet you in seriousness Robin. I might become your new teammate soon, but before you get too disappointed, the answer is maybe." He hears good-naturedly.

"mind if I grab a water before my 'defeat by spoon flailing?'"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Though Raijin was speaking in jest, Robin hadn't been. Though to be fair, he always thinks of ways to kill someone. A product of his raising, it seems. Nothing unusual for Damian.

"Sporks are an inferior tool. Instead of doing one task very well, it tries to do two tasks with the mediocrity of a high school dropout." In answer to Rayner's question, Robin simply states: "I don't care, your pass gets you everywhere except for the hangar, lab, garage, and personal dwellings. You could gorge yourself on the leftover pizza too. F&$#ing empty calories."

Raijin has posed:
At Damian's answer about where his pass gets him, Raijin nods a few times "Right. Well, least we came to an agreement." A soft smile then as he simply walks over and pours himself a small glass of water though clearly more was available.

"Colorful. What? Don't like pizza?" He questioned as his eyes took in the place in full.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
"If you stay longer than a week, you'll see that is the de facto meal around here. Many of the Titans rely on powers, I have to fuel my body with quality to keep running and maintaining optimum performance." Robin quips, though his apparent non condemning tone should give a hint that he isn't quite going to stab Raijin with forks. "Do yourself a favor. Give Starfire a jar of grain mustard."

Raijin has posed:
Raijin seems to nod to Damian at his words, both about the pizza and maintaining physical excellence. "Hm...fair enough." Though he is surprised at his tone of voice becoming far less condemning. Warming up to him maybe? Doubtful, but a guy can hope.

"Jar of grain mustard...got it." A small smile then as he moves more towards the outside of the kitchen just to get a glance. Before he turns heel and sits at the table. Hands in lap, feet on floor. Least he has discipline!

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
With that last bit of discourse, Robin looks to his tea, picking it all up and starting towards the elevator. Not much else is said, but there are wheels running in Robin's head thinking on how Raijin could fit in on the team. He would have to see how the new one fared in combat.
