Darcy Lewis has posed:
Mid-afternoon. Darcy's taken the day off from work as a Mental Health Day. With the paving clear of snow and the sun having dried out the cement around the fountain, Darcy's made her way out in tight fitting but suitable for cold weather and her skates. She had a small backpack on from which she dangled her walking shoes. A moment taken to turn on some music into her bluetooth earbuds, and Darcy stands from teh fountain's edge and pushes off for a few laps to warm up before anythign else.

Could she have gone to a roller rink? Sure. Could she have used part of hte Triskelion's Rec Center? Definitely. But skating outdoors is a thing and Darcy likes it.

Virgil Aimes has posed:
Having been stalking Darcy across town, Virgil is on a training operation. Usually he is assigned random people from the Triskelion to trail, people who can be expected to take the layer of extra surveillance without being upset. His camera occasionally rising up from some distance away as he captures the local scene, and various landmarks in his frames.

Seeing as his task today was to act like a tourist with a camera, he has dressed the part, complete with an I<3NY t-shirt underneath his layered hoodie and leather jacket. He wears a knit cap on his head and heavy boots on his feet. He looks comfortable, despite the cold.

Standing at the edge of the skating rink, he snaps a picture rather blatantly of Darcy when she goes skating past, and takes a moment to look at it.

Darcy seems unaware of the 'paparazzi' tailing her, so the shot is candid. And shows the acid neon purple of a top-only teeth guard and wrist guards on her hands. Her knee pads have duct tape on them,and there is an old bulk of elbow pads under her jacket.

As she skates about, she hops a fallen stick too big to just crunch over with her wheels. It's a one foot landing right down to a knee. A spin and she's back up but facing the way she'd come and she's sprinting a few seconds before easing into coasting by again.

Virgil Aimes has posed:
Being Virgil, Virgil is about as bold as brass, so that means he'll talk to anyone, and he has enough pictures by now to consider the mission a success. Such that he can say, "Lookin' good, you with a derby girl team?" he doesn't know the lingo, but she looks like she does, and that is usually sufficient to spark a conversation with someone. Leaning on the side of the bench he sits on, he actually takes another few pictures of her, rather blatantly, and pauses again to look at his pictures.

So that she doesn't think this is about her, he turns and snaps some random pictures of others walking by, distantly.

Being spoken to, so blatantly like that, Darcy spins to a stop by Virgil and his SHIELD issue camera. Same one she approved out yesterday. What was the name on that requisition, again? Darcy pulls the purple mouth guard out.

"Was. Got too busy to stay with a team. Thinking about joining back up again to kill the time and get my SO off my ass about exercise. She can be a bitch some days," Darcy replies, posing for the picture when Virgil moves to be blatant about it. She even photobombs the selfie. Because she can. Of course the word choice was obvious. Most non military would think SO stood for Significant Other.

When she mentions her SO, Virgil actually does wonder if this is just her way of brushing him off, or if she actually noticed something about him. But that she hadn't said anything sooner, and the fact that she hadn't been the least bit hesitant about where and how she was skating, makes him think she is just making a point of saying, 'I'm onto you,' but he isn't too sure. "SOs can be like that, I'd recommend pranking them or something, usually," he mentions.

He snaps another picture of her.
"I'm guessing there must be a pretty big scene for it, here?" he asks. Since he doesn't know the local derby scene.
