Slipstream has posed:
Settled in a coffee shop is Drake, aka Dynamite Rave of Team Static. Floating across from him is the golden colored Snowball with a n.n expression on her digital LED faceplate. Having set up his phone on a small tripod on the table for a bit of IRL Streaming, the young Avenger is talking to his chat as he watches the lines scroll by the screen filled with donations, emojis and other abbreviated text. He's been streaming from the Starbucks for about an hour now and time to time, someone actually pops over to him to take a selfie with him, which he always gives with an awkward and goofy look on his face. It seems that after the last few nights of grinding the game, he just needed some fresh air. He's wearing a Twitch black hoodie with the logo on the back and a pair of jeans with destroy in them.

"I'll play the game tonight, chat. It's the end of the season and I just need to breathe for a bit. I've been in full sweat mode the last few days. That, and I'm meeting someone." The screen begins to flash the words GRILL GRILL GRILL and emojis of all types. His eyes roll upwards as he brushes some hair away from his face. "Holy shit you guys are in full Reee today. Chill out." He reads some more, then laughs. "I'm not going to accept dare donations from anyone. No. No. No. You guys always get me in trouble. Every time. You don't own me." He says with an indignant sniff, before he lets out a resigned sigh. "Fine, go to MoonMoon's stream. See if my feelings are hurt." He pauses. ".. that's a total k-kona by the way. Don't go to his stream. Sides, don't you all wanna know who I'm gonna meet?" He raises his brows upwards.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
The trip to Manhattan hadn't taken overly long, really, but it was enough of a new place that finding this particular coffee shop had taken more time than she liked. Plus there was that need of 'get coffee' before joining in. Carrie, aka DrLuckyKiller, was just grabbing her iced latte from the barrista when she hears the streamer she was here to meet start to hint at who he was here for. With a broad grin she turns away to give him a quick wave from off-camera as she strides over to the table to join him.

Timing was everything with directing. Streaming was no different. To drum up interest and support she had to time it juuust right. Carefully curating a certain interest and appeal while live was difficult. Likely she was overthinking this but it was habit for her to be a little dramatic when she streamed. It would fit in perfectly.

The chair next to Drake is pulled out as she slides into it, lifting her drink to take a quick sip off the straw before chiming in with, "I'd apologize for being late but sounds like I'm just on time!" With that she leans in closer to Drake, facing the camera, so that she can wink at those of the stream. "I'll let you introduce me though."

Slipstream has posed:
The chat goes insane the moment she comes into view, with roughly fifty thousand viewers spamming emojis from both his and her stream to show their support. DYNAMITEXDRLUCKYKILLEROTP!!!!! Someone throws that in chat and suddenly it dominates the screen. Chuckling, he runs a hand back through his hair in amusement for a moment before he leans in to give Carrie a gentle bump of the shoulder. "Hey chat, Carrie is visiting me from Gotham so I can show her around New York City and get dinner." His eyes scan along the text for a few moment, then gives a quick round of thank yous for the subs and donations. ".. no, I'm not leaving Team Static.. um... no, she's not leaving the Dark Knights either. We're just hanging out guys. I'm allowed to have friends." He chuckles as he turns his head towards her. "But I'm stoked to hang out with you finally instead of seeing clips and watching your stream from time to time."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley can't help but give a laugh when she sees the screen blow up. A victory sign is flashed, and she ducks her head down to take a sip off her straw again while he calms his followers down with a breif explaination. The bump to her shoulder causes her to grin again as she nods solemnly. "It's my first time out to New York so I thought I'd reach out and get a worthwhile guide. I hear the pizza is amazing here and I have to see if it holds up to Gotham's famous 'Bat Pies' which thankfully contain no actual bats."

Looking over to Drake she nods as well still smiling over the situation and she tries not to bounce around or move a lot like she sometimes does in her videos when excited during games. "It's really cool to be here, Drake. And yeah, no, I'm not leaving my team or vice versus," she agrees with a solemn nod. "It's nice to get out during college break. I know my time gets eaten up during classes, so I'm making the most of it now."

Slipstream has posed:
"I hear that. College has been killing me between the grind, the scrims and then being an Avenger in training." Of course, chat starts to spam the Avenger's logo emote in the chatroom as well. "Just two more years though and I can be a normal, working citizens who pays taxes and wears a tie." He has a joking grin upon his face as he says that. "Also, I've had Bat Pies before. They aren't bad. I'm from California originally so I'm used to eating healthy, thin wheat crust and with pineapple." Chat shows it's disagreements with /that/ statement quite viciously. Pineapple on pizza is a great insult to the Internet gods it seems. "Also, have you met Snowball yet?" He asks as the gold robot floats up a bit higher, making a light chirping noise, followed by a 'HELLO' across the faceplate in digital letters before they become another u.u again. "Mister Stark built her for him to monitor my vitals after my accident. So, if I get in any danger that is considered life threatening, an Avenger or 911 can be dispatched to take care of me." He props his chin up as he takes a sip of his own iced coffee. "Okay, chat. I'm going to turn this off so we can hang out. We'll pop back in and out through the day when we find something interesting to do. Later bomb squad." He says as he reaches over to tap the phone off once Carrie gives her own goodbyes.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
While Drake is wrapping things up Carrie reaches up to pinch at the base of her throat. An odd gesture, but she had a little thing she did when she was streaming that she wanted to slip in here after all. With a grin she waits until the time to say goodbyes, and then speaks... In a perfect mimicry of Mercy's voice. "DrLuckyKiller going off duty. Try not to die before I return."

It was her gimic but also great for her acting to practice the various voices. The fact that she tended to talk entirely in her current character's voice while streaming was just fun practice really.

With the goodbyes said and done she leans back into her chair, clears her throat to talk in her own voice again, and looks to Drake. "You do this so much more than I do. I'm lucky the team lets me stay on when I'm busy with college, really. Thanks for having me out here though, seriously. I've always wanted to check out New York and it's better with a friend."

Slipstream has posed:
"Oh, totally. Tony is always telling me to get off the computer and hang out with girls, so this was a win-win for me." Drake chuckles as he shrugs his shoulders upwards as he pockets his phone, then pats Snowball lightly on the head. "I really did need the distraction though. I've had a rough couple of weeks between a messy break up and then being attacked by mutant rhinos and warthogs on top of college and then training with the Avengers. My life is like ... so crazy right now. But, getting to hang out with you feels like the most normal thing that can happen to me right now." He smiles to her. "So, you really want to get pizza or do you want to do something nicer? I can go for either. We gotta hit up Time Square, and... maybe a show? Lion King? Rent? Um.. Wicked?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley wrinkles her nose sympathetically at mention of the break up. The other stuff? Not so much though she does nod here and there. "I can't even begin to imagine what that's like. All I've got is college, my job teaching acting, and my personal projects. And gaming," she adds though it's an afterthought. "Honestly I probably wouldn't still be into it if it weren't for the streaming and videos I can practice with. Not quite what I hope to do in the future but any practice is good practice." Another long, thoughtful sip is taken of her coffee while considering. "I feel like I'm obligated to at least have a slice at some point, but that doesn't mean immediately. Seeing a show would be awesome but ..." She smiles sheepishly. "I admit I'm kind of working on a budget here. We might have to stick to just walking around checking out places."

Slipstream has posed:
"Don't worry about money. I'll pay for everything. I literally sit on my paycheck from Blizzard since I live rent free in the team house with the others and I don't own a car ... or have a social life outside of kicking it with Snowball here these days." Drake grins. "So pick a show and we'll snag tickets! It'll be fun. I haven't gone to a show since I even moved out here with the schedule and all. I figure if I got the whole day free to hang with you, we can make the most of it." He sips his coffee again until it's empty. "I'll drop a host on your next stream though, you'll easily get a few hundred subs and some donations out of it." Stretching, he rises upwards and grins. "What other projects you got going on?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"Really?" Carrie considers this a moment as she chews the inside of her cheek thoughtfully. "I... don't know..." She begins to respond only to sigh. Getting a chance like this again would be slim. "Okay, but only if it's because you haven't gotten to see it yourself. I'll work out how to pay you back, too," she adds with a stubborn nod as this decision is made. "I'd like to see Wicked, or Hamilton maybe. I don't konw what's out right now but I figure that's what the internet is for." For a moment her attention shifts to Snowball with a broad grin. "Also it's really cool to see this in person. Mr. Stark must be kind of nice if he's willing to make a fan item like this. I mean I get it's useful as well. It's just really cool."

Slipstream has posed:
"Oh, yeah. Tony is the greatest if you can nail him down. I only get to see him for a few minutes at a time and he sorta talks really fast with a Redbull in one hand and a coffee in the other. He's sorta busy saving the world and he built this out of boredom I think. Figured I'd have an emotional connection to it due to my career. He gives me lots of advice. Most of it really good." Drake says as he takes out his phone to check times and seatings for the two shows. "Hamilton is sold out, again, but we can see Wicked. Found some back seats but they're middleish." He says as he buys them with a few taps of his finger along the screen. "You don't gotta pay me back at all, really. It's just money and I don't care about it. I just want to have fun with you today." He gives Snowball a nudge as she floats over to Carrie, giving her a quick scan as a soft blue light emits from her eyes to wash over her. "So what she does is constantly scans for vitals and sends the data back to Tony and Dr Banner. From there, if they detect any anomalies they know how to deal with it."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"That is pretty handy, especially if you have a medical condition." It's here Carrie pauses as she glances toward Drake again. "I'm kind of curious and want to ask, but I also don't want to pry. So I'll leave it up to you if you want to explain what happened. As for the tickets," she adds, drumming her fingers against her cup. "I just don't like taking handouts. I guess I'll let it slide this time... but I'll get you back somehow," she adds with a teasing wink, and a grin. "How much time do we have before the show? I would like to see Times Square and I admit there's this Japanese shop there I want to hit if possible. I think it's by that square they always film 'Good Morning America' in. I figured I'd pick up a t-shirt or something with Godzilla."

Slipstream has posed:
"We definitely got a ton of time. Show starts at eight at night, so we can Uber about all day if you want." Drake grins at her as he mulls over the topic of his condition. "Well, it's going to sound crazy but there was this super bad guy named Glorith. She was obsessed with my good buddy Lar Gand who is a member of the Legion of Superheroes. So, one day he was taking me to visit his space ship that floats about in orbit and she hijacked the teleporter that we were going to use to get there. I went through and found myself in a time prison. She controls time by the way. So, it was a room full of crystals and when I touched one, it sucked me into it and started showing me this weird alternate future where I was married to a superhero named Andromeda and I was an accountant or something and we had a ten year old together named Lorelei. I was stuck in there until the super friends was able to defeat her and rescue me. But, when they did, something went wrong and my body got trapped between here and there. I was also stuck with all these memories of a life I won't ever live. But, uh ... from there, I was in pain because my molecules were tearing themselves apart and my body started shaking and vibrating and I was blinking all about. I felt like I was being stabbed repeatedly. They had to put me into a medical induced coma and then strapped this thing on my wrist." He holds up his left hand to show off the thick bracelet full of lights and LED's. "This keeps my body in one place and allows me to control my new speed powers. If I use them too much though, I go back into shitsville and I'm in pain and all that great stuff. I can die from it, actually. Tony and the others are trying to work on a cure for me."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
The time of the show earns a nod of complete agreement; plenty of time to do plenty of things. "That works out great then. I'll have to record some of the sights, do the touristy thing a little. I won't wear you out too much," She adds with a grin before falling silent to listen to his explaination. It takes a bit, and she just watches him intently the whole time.

"That's some pretty serious shiz right there. Does that technically mean that, mentally, you're way older than you ought to be? Or is it like when you wake up from a dream and kind of remember what happened in bits and pieces now and then?"

Slipstream has posed:
"I don't know. The first few weeks was hard." Drake admits to her. "I'd have night terrors. I was freaking out about my wife and kid and if I'd be fired from my job ... but I got through it. The memories started to fade and I'm back to normal for the most part. I still remember some of the memories, but now it's like moments in time instead of long drawn out scenarios." He hitches his lips upwards in a grin to her. "Don't worry, I"m not too old to ask out on a date." He teases her.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley rolls her eyes at that with a bit of a laugh, and a quick shake of her head. "In your dreams, maybe," she teases right back with a grin to make it obvious she wasn't being too mean. She hoped. "Don't let that internet fame go to your head." Still grinning she slurps down more of her coffee. "Okay, getting back to being touristy... Let's work out a game plan for the city. We've got time to kill."

Slipstream has posed:
"If I was letting Internet fame go to my head, I'd try and hook up with a celebrity or an Avenger." Drake grins at her with a wink. "Let's go to Time Square. We'll get pizza. Do some shopping at some of the big name stores about, snag dinner and then the show. Also wanna hit up the Apple Store on Fifth if we can so I can snag a battery back up since we're going to be out all day. That way we can charge on the go."
