Just a little weird activity

Synopsis:	Victor runs into The Shoe, and gets them advance warning of the police. Geometry and physics gets lightly abused.

Shoe has posed:
So many things are in Columbia Point. Old buildings. Crime ridden alley ways. Abandoned lots. Desolate parking lots and parking garages.

Parking garages are an interesting case. Nobody ever fills one completely. So the roof is almost always all but abandoned. Almost. And they are mostly not visible to anyone. Mostly.

But the whole 'broken windows' philosophy means that sometimes even minor things catch notice. Like some ubiquitous costumed figure on top of a parking garage, called in by some random person. Probably nobody will even check on it. Probably.

The costumed figure is described as male, wearing black and orange-bronze, with bronze trim, about 5'9", and for some reason there are some crutches leaning up against the corner. Just sort of bouncing around.

    Vincent has long since disappered from his job at the precinct, and been on the lamb since an explosion and a sudden death appeared at his former apartment complex. The former cop has held onto his materials and equipment, the time traveling detective sits in his old police interceptor with a frown on his face as the call comes over the radio. "Shit." The man whispers before he turns off his radio and climbs out of his car.

    Lazy writing means Vincent happens to have been parked down in the alleyway adjacent to the garage and with a hand slipping under his jacket to check that his side arm is secure tucked into his armpit. The greying haired man looks up as he enters the stair well and frowns before he trudges up to the top and steps out onto the top floor. "What's going on up here?"

Shoe has posed:
Nicky is in a black bodysuit with a full face mask and an orange-brown padded chestguard with shoulder pads, with a couple of yellow metallic accents; he has some metal footwear that looks very Greek or Roman with wing motifs. And.. yes, there is a bag and a pair of crutches leaning against a wall for some reason, all laced together with a shoelace.

He wasn't facing toward you, and right before you get the words out, he jumps in the air with a small flash and a *CRUMP!* noise, getting about twenty feet off the ground. Then you speak, and he gets a bit startled and flails a bit.

He drops back, tilted a little, and lands badly, falling forward and stopping in sort of an exaggerated Michael Jackson forward lean, face about a foot and a half off the ground and arms out, body straight on his toes. After a moment, he just spontaneously comes back upright, and turns to face you, blinking at you and slowly raising an arm to wave in a careful sort of unassuming way. "Just trying some things out. I didn't want to be anywhere I might cause any trouble. I hope it's not too big a bother..."

    Vincent's eyebrows squint downwards furrowed above the bridge of his nose. This is an extremely odd sight to see, even for the time traveller. The cop shakes his head trying to clear his mind before he steps closer towards Nicky and slips his hands into the pockets of his jeans. "Trying to fly or just super strong?" Vincent asks in a casual manner as if he's already seen it all before, even as odd as this was.

Shoe has posed:
Nicky thinks about that. "Uh. Kind... of.... ish? I'm still working it out." They kind of shrug sheepishly. "That's.. why I was trying to find the empty lot, right? I don't.... completely.. know what I am doing, and I went out and went here."

He considers a bit more. "Please don't tell anybody I was up here? I really don't know where else to go. Um." He gestures around, a bit effeminately, "I.. I don't see any cars up here, am I in your way or something?" A bit of confusion.

Vincent Black has posed:
    Vincent takes a single step closer, the weight of his jacket catches the breeze and the salt and pepper hair rustles weakly. His brown eyes look away from the wanna be super hero as the sounds of sirens nearing them becomes more and more distinct in the air. The former cop looks back over to Nicky, Vincent pulls out a notepad from inside his jacket and writes down a single address and rips the sheet out of the notepad, "Here. If you want to learn about your powers, check this place out. And you best get out of here quick. Cop's are coming and it's for you, so if you don't want to deal with them, you best get outta here."

Shoe has posed:
Nicky blinks and tilts their head. "Oh. Crap." He takes a fricking huge step over to grab the duffle bag and throw the crutches under his arm, taking the address and looking at it a moment. He throws you a thumbs-up sign and chirps, "Roger that. I'm guessing you're good." He takes a couple steps toward the high rise nearby, then *CRUMP!* jumps over the fence around the roof and across the street, then lands on the WALL of the building. He stands there, in complete defiance of gravity, and looks up/back at you with some concern, stashing the note away and glancing around, then waves and debates on which geometry-torturing way to go from here, looking down to see how many flashing lights are moving around nearby.

Vincent Black has posed:
    Vincent doesn't move when Nicky leaps across the gap into the next building and looks back at the former cop. "I wouldn't say good, but I do what's right. Some." Then Vincent points up as if it was a direction for Nicky to take to get out of this pickle.

    After a moment watching the new hero flee the scene of a potential crime, Vincent turns and books it through the stairwell he came up in. Yeah, he's actually more wanted than Nicky so he makes a quick escape as well.
