Cast of Characters: Red Hood, Redstar

Red Hood has posed:
Vicky probably never expected an accidental roommate - but Jason comes and goes like a tom cat - visiting when he wants, and then gone for who knows how long until he comes back. When Starr arrives home this evening, the house is completely dark, except for what appears to be a faint blue glow from the bedroom. And that glow has a faintly magical feel to it - not something she may have not felt, but at the same time - it's familiar, to a demon. It's the magic of life, death, and that area in the inbetween.

Redstar has posed:
This apartment hadn't seen Starr in it for weeks. At least not when Jason had been here. Though there had been a note left once.

'Laying low. Stock the fridge with Coke? -S'

Typical demon. Expecting everyone else to do their errands. Though tonight she apparently thought to bring her own. The leathery sound of wings beating is heard on the balcony. The door is slid open quietly and she sets a 12 pack on the table. Her eyes catch the glow almost instantly and she frowns. A glow of her own, vibrant white-hot, springs into being over her own hands and hovers as she walks down the hall to the bedroom.

Red Hood has posed:
The blue glow doesn't move. The door's unlocked for the Demoness. Sad, she missed the Coke in the fridge. When the door is opened, she'll see a familiar figure settled on the floor near the balcony. Legs folded under him, Jason Todd sits with his eyes clothes, and it would almost appear that he's in a trance - except for the fact that his chest, which usually when bare shows only the scars of the beating and death he suffered - now glow with a blue emination along those same marks - where the bomb blast tore into him, but the marks look like runes and lines.

Redstar has posed:
Starr stopped in the doorway and her own light faded out. Those black eyes stared and her face was a hard mask. The runes were both familiar and not and she found herself squinting to try and find their meaning. But whatever they were it unnerved her. "Jason," She says, her voice low and caught between concern and warning.

Red Hood has posed:
It's old magic. Possibly older than her. Who knows when it comes to the people and things that molded Jason into what he is now. He hears the voice and he speaks up for a moment. "Meditating. Leave a message at the beep." he comments dryly, not opening his eyes to the woman, but it's clear that he's focusing on something.

"Beep.

Redstar has posed:
Starr raises a brow and crosses her arms. The worry fades and is replaced by vague amusement in the dark creature. "Hmph. I can see your meditating. But most people don't glow with old magic runes. Care to explain?" She even waited for his beep. Even if she did roll her eyes.

Red Hood has posed:
"Told you I wasn't like the other boys at school." Jason says with a snort of amusement. It's not every day you catch a demoness off-guard and flat on her feet. "Also told you that some weird shit happened to me. This is one of those weird shit things - seeing if I still feel a connection to something. But considering I'm glowing, yeah, think so. May be time to take a little trip."

Redstar has posed:
Doorframes are sturdy and this one takes the weight of Starr leaning without protest. It's a really fancy flat. Her lips purse slightly and she eyes Jason as he speaks. "A trip hmmm? I know you said weird shit, but not I am infinitely more curious. What is this weird shit and why does it make me feel like someone dropped an ice cube down my back?"

Red Hood has posed:
"Watching you shiver is kind of hot." Jason's being evasive, isn't he? "Just some stuff I did when I first came back that I should have paid more attention to." So why is he keeping her out of his thoughts when it comes to this? But since the moment seems to be over and he's properly distracted, he ends up breaking the trance, the blue glow fading back into his skin.

Redstar has posed:
As the light fades and only the led candles are left flickering she eyes him on the bed. "Hmmmmm," She sounds totally unconvinced by his words. "Well, I could probably due to get out of town. I've been laying low since the whole Hulk incident. Not my finest moment, but one of the funnest."

Red Hood has posed:
"What makes you think you're invited? What if I planned to go on my own?" he asks with a faint chuff of amusement. Jason glances towards the woman leaned against the frame. "Well, was it worth it?" he asks her. "I mean. He is pretty massive."

Redstar has posed:
"Oh, I thought we were inviting each other into the others life willy nilly," Starr replies with sarcastic amusement and a sweeping gesture. It is meant to indicate the apartment. She smirks as she crossed the floor between door and bed. Crawling up on to it and forwards till her face is inches from Jason's own. "Worth it how? I had a fun time and then got to hang out and drink with Grodd after. I'd say the day was well spent in wrath and gluttony. And Hulk made a fool of himself, which tickles my happy place."

Red Hood has posed:
"Well, you do have some wonderful happy places." Jason responds dryly as he reaches up and plucks at one of Starr's wings. "Anyway, it's going to be cold where we're going - though I think you'd try to wear a chemise at the North Pole." There's a smirk at that as he considers her. "And what if I said I already had company?" he asks her wryly. "Would you still be interesting knowing the company I keep?"

Redstar has posed:
The demoness smiles languidly as Jason's hand pulls at her wing. "In case you didn't notice, temperature doesn't bother me. I've yet to get cold or hot, and I've been hit by lightning," Starr says with a chuckle. She lifts a hand to press against his chest and push him backwards. "I could wear nothing up there and be perfectly warm and cozy, I assure you. And if you bring me, it'll always be a balmy 70." There is a pause in her push and one brow raises. "What kind of company? It is more likely they would fine -me- disagreeable. The more the merrier if you ask me," There she goes with the innuendos and her lips break into a pointy and playful grin.

Red Hood has posed:
"Oh, well one of them may very well give you as much hell as she gives me. The other one sounds like a total bore and boy scout. Right up your alley." Jason responds as he feels himself pushed back and starts to surrender to her as he smirks up at her as his arms move to encircle her neck. "For the moment, however - I want it much warmer than a balmy seventy degrees in here.." he responds as he pulls her down in the darkness of the room.
