Cast of Characters: Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Constantine

Doctor Strange has posed:
As he moves to the library, Stephen dismisses Wong as he brings up his two fingers, and swirls his fingers counter-clockwise. The swirling and sparking arc opens instantly by-passing any and all wards, to where Wanda is as he remains in the Sanctumn and waits for her to come to the portal. He folds his hands behind his back.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
As it happens, Wanda was having tea with the House of Mystery. You read that right *with* the House of Mystery. Wanda, being Wanda, doesn't do many things the way others do, and while some would enjoy tea at or in a domicile.. Wanda is literally sitting down with John's house - in John's house -having a discussion with the place, while drinking tea. And not that bland, disgusting stuff the House always finds and feeds to John, either. Her's is a delightful Earl Grey, loose leaf, complete with biscuits meant to be nibbled on the side.

When the portal opens, she finished her nibble, takes a sip, and sets the pretty bone china cup on its saucer, and smiles, speaking to the portal (and Strange) like this is an everyday occurance for her.

"Oh. Hello." Her smile is a pretty, engaging thing. "Well, I do suppose I could have tea there, just as well."

Not that she asks where there is. Though she does give a small, regretful sigh as she puts her tea things down and bids House a good eve before standing and making to use the portal. "No, I do not think you need to tell him I did come visit. We will wait and surprise him," she tells the place. And then she's done. Using Strange's invitation to join him.

Doctor Strange has posed:
As his eyes fall on the House, Stephen smiles and says, "Allo love. No Earl Grey for me today but I will come and visit again soon. I need to steal Wanda for a few. I would be happy to return her." He moves to sit down as he waits for her to step into the portal, he adds, "Please let John know I took her...and he knows how to get her if he wishes to join us."

As he folds his hands in front of him, the two silver trays sitting on the end tables next to the chairs in the library swirl with lights and the same tea comes to existance as he adds to the House before the portal closes, "Mine is still no where good as yours..." He smiles as he flicks his wrist and the portal closes when Wanda is through and he says, "I think it is time you and I have a discussion....a serious one. Has John spoken with you yet...or am I coming into this cold?" He picks up his tea cup and takes a sip before looking at the woman before him.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
There's something of a tiny pout when Strange addresses the House and tells her she can, too, tell John. "That was hardly fair. I did wish to surprise him again, you know. He is all the grumbles when he hears that the House does like me."

The pout slips into a smile as she sees tea produced here - truly not as good as House of Mystery might provide, but that's not matter, it will be just as good as soon as Wanda picks up her cup. That's just how it is with her. Things are... and she doesn't question it.

"Now, see, I am more surprised that House likes you, too. She is not so much with the sharing of her secrets with so many, no?" Shaking her head, giving him a wide-eyed bit of a stare. "I have not seen John, oh, since we did go to the pub and have the been and steak sandwiches. So, we will say coming into it cold. Only, see, you do know who I am. This, I think is an unfair advantage."

Her head inclines. "You are not like the others. You are more like John. Yes? With the magic. Less of the hitting and the stabbing. Only it is I who should be asking, what is it that John was to talk to me about, and who it is you are. And should I be worried that I have stepped over your threshold. You know that there is legend and lore to that. Some binding and warding matters too. Not always wise to accept such offers."

And yet? She had.

Wanda sits. There is tea after all... plus biscuits. Because, despite what Strange provided, what good is tea without biscuits?

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Well...I know of you Wanda." He sets the tea cup down and folds his hands into his lap. "My name is Stephen Strange. Dr. Stephen Strange, the Sorcerer Supereme of the Planet Earth." He smiles softly and says, "I am the Earth's mystical protector against threats in the nine realms, and more." He presses his lips in a fine line, "Constantine must be busy...or doing what he does best....and has no told you of my interest in you and your abilities." He hmms.

In an attempt to side track while thinking how to approach her, "The House is rather a lovely being. She was kind enough to allow me to link a permentant portal to her so that John can come and go as he pleases here. I find her energy...soothing. John is very lucky to have her in his life. Might I ask how you came to be a part of Constantine's...friendship?"

Scarlet Witch has posed:
There's a small titter of a laugh from Wanda. "Oh, I did not know John. The House wished to meet me, so there I was. Really, he is.. I do not know. Did he say that we were friends?"

She nods at his introduction. "Ah, see? I was not wrong. Less of the hitting and stabbing and more of the making things come into being. I know a little bit about that." She is, after all, the reflection of this reality and its state of being. Plus a few other not so small and sundry magical and mystical things on the side to boot. "How is it that you do know John and the House? She is, as you say, quite lovely."

Constantine has posed:
Tea without buiscuits? Cardinal sin back home, but beer was more John's drink, and back at the House of Mystery, John wanders in with a sixer of Mac's homebrew. He's barely set it down in his sitting room when the House starts telling him tales.

"Really? Wanda /and/ Strange? What was she doing he-. A tea party, of course she'd come here to have tea with you," he shakes his head and slides a bottle of the homebrew out of the case and cracks the lid. "Well then, best pay a call in return," he says tossing the lid in the bin on the way to the door that Strange had doctored (heh) to take John to the Sanctum.

Throwing the door open he wanders, in beer in hand and takes a look around, Strange did promise a tour but at the moment it was terra incognita and John knew better to poke about at random. "Oi!" he calls into the house. "Anyone home?" A swig is taken from the bottle.

Doctor Strange has posed:
As he smirks softly, "Ahhhh and speak of the House. That lovely dear sent off my message." Strange says to Wanda, as Wong can be heard in the next room swearing to himself in another language. As he laces his hands together, "In the library Constantine." The voice seems to carry through the entire house.

"Well...now that John is here. We can get to what I want to discuss. Your strength is considerable Wanda. I have been watching you on multiple timelines and in all of them. Your strength grows to almost match my own. If you have not sensed it...you will...but something is coming...when I try and find it. There is a sort of...static that blocks me from seeing what is coming. I need cable..." He pauses and cocks an eyebrow, "Magicans...sorcerers...witches...people of mystical talent to be prepared and ready."

As John walks into the room, "I have asked John to come on as one of these magicans..." He turns and looks at Wanda, "I would like to ask you to join the Sanctumn and become a mentor...a teacher towards the less talented beings in the community."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda settles back with her tea, sipping it, the liquid the perfect temperature for just such a thing, and ponders. "I confess, I do not often.." She frowns a little, and stops herself. "No. That is not it. It is more.. I see it, you know? How it is that I could be. How easy it would be to reach out and just... *be*. There are so many terrible wonderful things it is that I could do and for a time it would be all the right. All the good. So easy to fix things. Make all the troubles go. Only.."

Again she stops herself.

"It is not so much you wish to hear, that. Perhaps it is already that you know how it would be to be loved and feared. To be all and nothing all at once." A nod. "But if you ask can I feel it? I feel.. there is something, as you say, coming. It is not right. Sometimes it scares me more than the other. It is the one thing that makes me beleve what Nolan says. That there is more danger to denying my truth than learning to not become the other."

Her gaze falls upon her cup. "Perhaps tea is not the right beverage for this. I do feel much less civilized than such politeness. What you ask.. it would mean deciding to become."

Constantine has posed:
"Magicians?" John says with a smirk. "Is Copperfield joining too? Still need him to teach me the trick where a 'nonce like him owns an island and married Claudia Schiffer," the warlock drawls as he wanders into the room beer in hand. He's his usual rumpled, shower needing self, right now and without a by your leave helps himself to a seat. "So, taking my suggestion and asking this one to join Hogwarts then?" he asks Strange before his eyes drift over to Wanda. "How are you at transformations? We need a good McGonagall."

Doctor Strange has posed:
As he listens to Wanda, "There is always a price we pay when it comes to magic. I have visited the nine realms and learned of it myself. I have been to the heart of the Nexus itself and sees the consquences of my own actions face to face many times. The power we wield ALWAYS comes at a prize. To you, your loved ones...or both. I appericate that you can hold some restrain when it comes to your magic. In a way...there are three very different magics in here now..." As John enters the room...."John is a way represents the pulling side of the Dark Arts...while I represent the enlightning pat of White Magic." He turns his eyes on Wanda and says, "You...you at the balance in between. The "chaos" that flows within you can be tipped to either direction...you in a way are what some might call the chaotic neutral aspects of magic."

As he smirks, "Oh...I could have Wong brought you a proper Taddy Porteror or Samuel Smith at the Old Brewery in London for you...Proffesor Snape." Stephen chuckles as his billowing red cloak floats into the room on its own and grabs a book from one of the shelves and floats out of the room. "If you joined...as John has put it...this little version of Hogwarts. The three of us would handle the magical education of the younger generations. You would have access to the Sanctumn...with minor restrictions...and my rules that I have asked of John would apply to you."

"No killing the students, no bringing them to hell without me..." And he looks at John and asks to see if he remembers the third, "And?"

Constantine has posed:
"'s all good, got one of Mac's beers from 'round Gotham," John says of McAnally's Pub where Wanda had last seen him. John takes a sip of the beer, drunk at room temperature as god intended.

"Snape, nah, more of a Sirius myself, loveable rogue that comes to a bad end," he says, before adding to Wanda, "Spoilers if you haven't read 'em yet," he says. "But you're not wrong about my arts, they're pretty black," he says with a touch of regret to his tone.

John smiles then, eyes rolling slightly as he does, "No demon lords in the sanctum," he says completing the list. "Which is fair enough, leaves me plenty to work with," he says in a tone that sounds close enough to joking, but it's hard to tell with John.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
"Why ever would I want to visit with a demon lord?" Wanda seems utterly taken aback and perplexed that such a rule even has to be made. "Do people really invite them for lunch? I do not imagine they would be brilliant conversationalists."

Her teacup is held out vaguely in Stephen's direction. "If you wish to have someone collect it, only it is just as simple to.. well.." She gives a tiny, bashful little shrug. For as much as much of magic happens around Wanda without her seeming awareness, it's also clear the woman knows how casually she could use it should she wish. That the offer of bringing a drink was made, rather than the drink merely being as the tea had come to them suggests to her that there may be some sort of order of poliiteness going on with her host.

She gives a little nod to what he says, though, Stephen. "All shall love me and despair," she intones softly. "Nolan only sees the Light in me. He does not understand that there are always shadows where there is light. That I can not be one without the other. I have tried for some time now to only be the one, and it is always that I hurt someone even so. I have been trying to understand that, and always is comes back to that I fear what I truly could be. It is not a good way to be, no?"

Wanda blinks at John. "I do not understand all this Hogwarts and this MacGonagal or these spoilers. Snape?" Wanda, not so much up on this particular branch of pop culture.

"No killng students. No visiting the nethers of hell unless I am to allow you to accompany me." This earns Stephen a bit of a look. "You do realize if I did plan on taking someone there, that it would be for reasons, and perhaps you would not be the first of thoughts to cross my mind, yes? And no lunch with demons. So much with the demons." A frown for John. "Though I suppose if you are the Dark Arts, then you might need such.. bindings."

She might come across as all the nice and naive, but she's not stupid. She'd consider binding someone like John under circumstances as well.
