Smart Alek has posed:
Alek is currently sitting at a bench, he seems to be by himself rocking slightly, a hand goes up and moves an invisible item on the table in front of him, he rocks again

Kid has posed:
For those affected by psychic illusions, Kid would appear like a very large and hairy teen, possibly a mutant walking about, but those who can see past the illusion, he appears as an unusual gorilla, with his left shoulder bandaged up as if from a fight.
    Luckily he wasn't hunting this day for one reason or another and was merely walking about. His path takes him by Alek and he slows down looking over the rocking teen and his evident invisible manipulation. A low rumble like hmmm comes from him as he observes for the moment.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek can't see through the illusion so he just would see a large hairy teen.. if someone could read his brain, they'd see in his mindseye he's sitting at the table with a chess set with an avatar sitting across from him of a roughly shaped figure of a man with a pipe. He mutters to noone, "At least you can't cheat."

Kid has posed:
Indeed, such surface thoughts, even under the guise of deep thinking can be seen by Kid. It was interesting to see someone picture ana avatar - not an ordinary mind for sure...perhaps a highly visual learner.
    Regardless, Kid sits where the avatar was without much regard for what he may be disturbing. And as if still seeing the chess board and pieces, he reaches down and 'picks up' a bishop and moves it forward instead of diagonal like it is supposed to be.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek even though Kid seems to be able to see the piece, his interaction with it does not move it though Alek blinks a bit as the image before him is distorted now as the avatar shares space with the teen in front of him, he looks down at the attempted move on the chess board. "That shouldn't have happened..." he looks up back up at Kid and his eyes meet only a moment before they seem to dance around Kid's eyes not keeping eye contact, "Umm, I guess you can see it too, it's not nice to interrupt a game you know."

Kid has posed:
The avoidance of eye contact does not bother Kid, infact he seems more concentrated on the board, as if fascinated by it. So it wasn't physical, and was easy enough to determine that Alek was likely in control of it.
    Kid signs not speaking - nor utilizing his watch yet <"Don't much care. I ain't very nice">

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek seems to shake his head a moment, "Sign Language... I don't know..." his eye dance to the right.. and suddenly the chess board flickers to the google homepage and then light lightning the search term 'sign language' is typed in.. and illustrates a dictionary of motions... he speaks the words as he finds the symbols, "Do not care. I am not very nice." He reads out slowly, his eyes flick back to Kid, "I see. Well, I am nice or try to be. If you want to play chess, we can."

Kid has posed:
Kid eyes lock on Alek as he sees this all happening real time. Unless Aleks mental landscape is a computer (and mental landscape is something Kis is sure he can't access yet) he guessing this was a type of meta or mutant human ability. Kid smirks and gives a grin - as if Alek was more an interesting meal than anything else. He signs <"Game on">
    Not afraid to perhaps 'flex' his mental muscles - there would be a sense akin to a 'knock' in Alek mind comming from Kid - as if asking to share the mental landscape the board was on.

Smart Alek has posed:
The mental landscape shatters a moment as Alek seems shocked, "Did you just do that.. Of course, you can saw my mind." he rocks a bit nervously, "well, we don't need to be online then." The chess board is recreated, this time they look VERY real, when compared to what looked like a computer-generated board last time. Alek mentions, "I'll handle moving the pieces just go ahead and play." If you were to simply take a bit more of view into Alek's mind during this I whole area becomes awash with dancing colors, loud digital sounding noises, the bench and table itself would appear to be made up of vibrating things, it's a surreal experience.

Kid has posed:
Deep mind scans were a bit beyound Kid...least without having fed on a psychic. Kid smirks - his mental presence was hostile, aggressive and animalistic...and he makes no attempt to hide that.
    But for now he would 'play nice'. He takes a knight and moves it in a L shape towards the middle. Now he speaks telepathically o O ("See, hear it, feel it. All the same and different").

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek nods as he moves a piece on the board as well, just a pawn as he begins the game, knowing Kid is telepathic he wouldn't need to speak but he does anyway, "I see sound, radio, atoms, even smells." he nods, "It's distracting but I live with it. I've learned to connect to the internet too.. which is what you saw."

Kid has posed:
Kid snorts o O ("How good are you in telling them apart? I imagine someone like me is quite distracting"). After all, homeless, not even human, and wounded with dried blood, even though hidden by his illusion. He has the the other knight also move into -opposite the first.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek has obviously taken the bait as Kid is surrounded by various clouds of different colors, his eyes make contact with those, "I usually filter out everything but what I'm currently looking over..." the chess board starts to fade a bit as indeed it's lost his attention, "Never seen that one before.. sweat, blood, but.. something else too."

Kid has posed:
o O ("heheh, question is whose blood is it?") answer is his and other people. But what he really is he does not say, having no need to. Instead he takes his rook and move it to directly topple Alek's bishop.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek doesn't truely care now about the game, his attention is on the clouds around Kid, he reaches over and nearly touches the teen's hand, but his motion is too slow and it's hesitant, "I'd like to know..."

Kid has posed:
Kid knocks over the king on Alek side. He can tell Alek has lost interest. There was an air of relax calmness about Kid - weather Alek touched his hand or not, he didn't really seem to care...but a single perhaps terrifying sentence is emited o O ("Heh, you sure? After all, some things are best left Unknown").

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek inhales a bit, he closes his eyes and the mental landscape loses the real world now... completely made up of now the surreal imagery, he sits back down, "If you don't want me to know, best if I didn't pry." his hands touch the wooden table in front of them instead.. and it suddenly becomes more focuses now.. the vibrating 'things' becoming clearer and more visible, "It's still alive even after all the stuff we do to it."

Kid has posed:
Kid grunts o O ("Don't much care if you know") is his response. He leans back in his seat o O ("Not surprising, seen images were even wooden chairs have sprouted trees. Trees are tough mofos") he claims. With the game concluded, he doesn't really focus on Alek mental state as much.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek is lost as his focus goes deeper into the cell, various particles fill his view.. "Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, we're made up of the same stuff.. just little different.." His watch beeps, and now he opens his eyes, and the world returns to the way most people see it, he looks at his watch and hits a button on it, "Reminder to tell me to get to the bus stop." He gets up, "Umm, nice meeting you. Sorry that the game didn't go so well."

Kid has posed:
Kid shrugs o O ("Went fine to me. I still won") he claims. He lays down on the bench o O ("See yea Kid, try not to lose your mind out there") he wanrs not seeming worried and perhaps indifferent to Alek odd pratteling.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, "Congratulations then..." he states as he gets up and starts to head to the bus stop, "Don't get people angry who you might not be able to win against.""
