Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange did email ahead, requesting that the Professor be in his office, available for a meeting at this specific time. Yes, the email was days in advance because Shuma-Gorath knows how outrageously busy these two men are. The wizard however didn't arrive in his car, or fly himself over, or even us a teleportation spell. No, instead a blue hued figure doesn't quite appear, but it doesn't quite materialize either, he just sort of is there, in Charles' office.

Doctor Strange is in his astral form, peaking into the plane itself to appear before Charles with a slightly sour and annoyed face. "Charles, I know we don't have a lot of overlap in our spheres of influence, but there is some, but that's not why I'm here, I'm here because someone directly in your care came to my door, expecting help. A young woman by the name of Erika, was asking about the Astral Plane, and she told me there was a monster there, and she also spoke about how she was forboden to go there when she said she wanted to help in some manner." Stephen finishes his point as abruptly as he started, arms appearing to rest on his knees as he hovers over the guest chair in Charles' office, waiting for some reply.

Professor X has posed:
Charles was more than happy to accept and arrange a meeting...though Xavier didn't quite expect the good doctor to appear in his astral form. By the time Strange arrives, he'll find Charles in his wheelchair as per hte usual, reading 'The Once and Future King', a novel quite beloved by the Professor...even if he's read it a thousand times. Regardless, Charles is notified of Strange's presence before he arrives, which causes Charles to look up and thus not be startled by the Doctor's arrival.

"Stephen, welcome, as always. I would provide you with tea but..." Charles does his adorable old man shrug. However, as Strange speaks rather pointedly and bluntly, Charles nods. "She was and she is." Charles states then. "Erika...is an interesting young woman. She has a unique power...able to develop a psychic link to anything she touches via skin-to-surface contact. We forbade her because she is a student here, Stephen. I'll not have one of my students in harms way...and...I've investigated some. I pray it isn't what I fear." a sigh. "Tell me, Doctor, besides me, what Telepathic mutants do you know of?"

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange seems to dislike Charle's answer, but the form of his astral body doesn't react or move, but it does shimmer briefly, perharps part of the 'astral quakes' rolling through the plane. "There is your prize student, Jean, and I'm sure you have a few others around here." The wizard says before placing his hand against his chin, "Rogue could but that is predicated on circumstance." Stephen notes.

Stephen wants to scold Charles, but that will wait, questions have been posed, and a certain amout of decorum and respect is given to the Professor by the good Doctor. "I presume you have a theory then if you're concerned about individuals."

Professor X has posed:
Charles looks upon Strange with a small smile on his face, before he takes a small breath for a moment. "Indeed on all accounts." Charles knows that look in Stephen's face. He appreciates Strange's patience in this matter. Regardless, as to his question, CHarles nods. "Perhaps."

"I...ahve long had a single enemy, long before Erik Lensherr was ever quite on the scene, as it were. But...a powerful psychic entity has haunted me all my life since a trip to Egypt."

"What do you know of a man known as the Shadow King?"

Of course...this was only a theory, and Charles didn't really know...but whenever a 'beast' is described in the astral plane? he's the first to come to mind.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I-" Stephen falls silent and his form shimers and even starts to fade for a few moments. His hand lifts up to his forehead and presses against his browline. "I recall the name, but I have no direct dealings with the Shadow King." The Sorcerer Supreme says with a shake of his head as he regains his full ghostly form.

"Glancing about though, on the plane when I can actually get in, it's not good. Something is truely attempting to break it, or at least bend it..." Stephen starts, standing upright.

"A bent reality." He says as if the idea just popped into his head. "I thought it was something else, but this. Your theory may be correct."

Professor X has posed:
"I felt it too." Charles was serious then as he looks to Stephen. "He's not to be trifled with...on more than one occasion he's almost overpowered me. His mind is extremely strong...he's like a psionic drain." Xavier nods grimly.

     "Precisely."

A bit of a sigh touches his features. "Now you understand why I don't want any of my students aside from members of the X-Men to look into this. Not Erika or anyone." Charles says with a fierce look of fatherly protection on his face.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I do understand wanting children to avoid such troubles yes, but I recall you being gung-ho about empowering people, especially the youth to stand up for themselves and be able to defend themselves. Explain things to her and give your students a bit more information and agency in their lives." Stephen says, looking back at Xavier, "You recall what it was like being a teen and being told 'no'." The wizard states before he looks to his right suddenly as if he sees something over there, but it's just a wall, but he's got that thousand yard stare.

Professor X has posed:
"I am aware...but.." he sighs. "She's a psychometric mutant...she has very little psychic ability. She'd be overwhelmed and I do not want to see the Shadow King take a mind of one of the most promising students here." Charles rubs his bald head just a little bit. "I remember what it was like. I was a fool then...younger..inexperienced, carefree." he sighs. "But you make a overwhelming point, Stephen." Charles takes a breath before Charles also glances towards that way.

This should be interesting...

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen is still standing, looking at the wall, "Just, think about it Charles, I have much work to do." The wizard announces before he moves towards the wall and simply floats through it. Seems like that was the end of the meeting.
