I've Fallen and I Can't get up!
Date of Scene: 21 May 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Star Shimmer, Amarok

Star Shimmer has posed:
Gotham is in a tizzy. Word is spreading that some people made an attempt to spring the Bat. Whispers are that it was unsuccessful, that some people actually got hurt. That is all hearsay though. At least to those that walk the streets. For those that traverse the roof tops, there is something that grants a bit more validity to what happened earlier. A faint blood trail running from old gotham to Nantwich.

At the end of that trail, just inside an appartment the source of the trail is found. Nightingale is down. A gunshot wound piercing her armor. Her right calf is where she was hit and the bullet is still there. Her collapsable staff is on the floor beside her. Her leg has been tied off to slow the bleeding.

Amarok has posed:
As Nightingale lays bleeding, a soft click breaks the stillness of the apartment. All returns to silence then as a familiar form emerges from the entry door, a man in armored military fatigues with a wolfish mask steps forward and closes the door, relocking it....and brandishing a small knife as he looks back towards the wounded heroin.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale only looks partially like the girl he met the other night. She is wearing a mask and her headband of course. Her dark cape hanging over over. Her eyes weakly open and just barely see the man with the knife. "Live... Here. " she's out again

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf steps forward, kneeling down over Nightingale and snapping his fingers repeatedly in her face, "Hey, wake up. C'mon, stay with me. You've lost a lot of blood, if you pass out now you may never wake up." He says calmly but firmly as he unwraps the wounded leg to look over the offending wound.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale opens her eyes. "I... I'm not giving up. Damn assassin." She mutters. Her hand goes to her staff. A quick press of the button and the thing retracts to its smaller form. She puts it on her belt. Her body is definitely weak. "This stucks." She mutters.

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf looks up to Nightingale's eyes and nod, "Good. If you give up, you'll die....This is gonna hurt. A lot." He says as he reaches down and starts to dig the bullet out of her leg with the knife, his other arm up at her face for the armor to serve for biting down on.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale cries out a little as she feels that knife fishing out bullet. She bites down into her the armor on her arm. This would be so much easier if she was still in shock. Sadly that isn't the case. Its flat out brutal.

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf works fast, digging the bullet out in mere seconds, that doubtlessly feel like hours, and wastes no time in fishing out a bottle of alcohol to sterilize the wound. The done, he pulls forth a needle and thread from his belt of pouches to suture the wound shut. This manages to be even more agonizing than the bullet removal as he pierces the skin time and time again, pulling it tightly closed against it's natural physical response of hanging open. One more douse of alcohol sears the flesh but after all the pain, the blood flow, and healing can finaly begin.

Star Shimmer has posed:
The whole thing is enough to knock Nightingale out yet somehow she manages to stay awake. Whats more despite the pain, She does manage to make little in the way of noise over it. "Thank you. Things went bad. We broke into the prison to spring Batman. I was following Black Canary. Then the Raptor attacked. Black Canary fought with him. I pressed on. Had a run in with the Scarecrow. Got fear gassed. Then Bane. I tried tripping him. Got hit with a desk for my troubles. I did something to him which broke his attack. ONly to be told by Batman that he didn't want to escape. THen this damn assassin shot me in the leg. He had the drop on me but didn't kill me. Weird huh?"

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf shakes his head a bit, "I've heard weirder. Can you describe this 'assassin' for me?" He says as he lifts Nightingale off the floor, carrying her to a nearby couch and carefully lowering her onto it, with her leg raised carefully up.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale Frowns. She hates being hurt like this but, Whats she going to do? Get up and move herself. "A Ninja. Like, seriously, He looked like a full on ninja. ALl in black, cloth garb, Used guns. The weird thing is he helped me deal with the hallucinations I was seeing courtesy of fear gas. Not exactly a fun thing that stuff."

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf hmms slightly as he steps back, looking over the wounded hero, "....Keep the wound clean and go easy on the leg for about a week. You'll probly want some vitamins to help keep your health up, and orange juice to help with building your blood supply back up. If anyone asks, you were collateral damage in a driveby shooting." He says surgically before turning and going for the door, apparently feeling things are dealt with now."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale Nods, "Sounds like a solid plan. Thanks. You are very kind. Be safe out there." She does sound gracious dispite the fact that she is concealing her voice. When he exits, She quickly begins taking off her armor. Running around in her home home, As Nightingale? Yeah this won't work.
