Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Thomas Raith, Black Canary

Thomas Raith has posed:
It's a fairly average night at the Blue Lady, a reasonable line outside with people waiting to get in. Axe the bouncer at the door, selectively allowing a few beauties to jump the line and get in a little early. So it is for the attractive blonde who he offers a smile, and a not so subtle apprecitive look over. Still a momment later the atmosphere of the place is allowed to pass over her.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake wanted to hear some jazz. Though Dinah Drake is a musician of her own, she mostly plays rock bordering on metal. Jazz sounds soothing so she parks her motorcycle outside the venue and gets in line, wearing a turquoise dress, smiling as she was walked in. She hmmmmms softly as she looks around, nodding to the mellow music inside. Not bad. Not bad.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith can't help but notice the blonde as she comes in, seeing her fall into the music. He takes a long look at the woman, as if making a decision, and then walks up closer to her. Behind her, but not in her personal space...much. "Her name's Sasha Blair. I wonder how long I'll be able to keep her before some big time producer steals her away."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake raises an eyebrow as she turns to look back at you. "That happens in the music industry. I should know. I actually play a band - we're on a break right now for a few of the members are taking care of some personal issues." She hmmmmmms softly. "She plays very good. I'm Dinah."

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith looks reasonably impressed and offers his hand to her. "I'm Thomas Raith, I own the Blue Lady." He says with a rather beautiful smile. In fact that is a good word for the an himself, less handsome then he is beautiful. And assuming she takes his hand, there is...something. Like a tingle, but a pleasurable one. The man shakes hands better then some men can kiss. "This is where I'd normally offer you a drink with some sort of sexual overtone, like a Slow Comfortable Screw up agienst the Wall... but if you've already graduated from the bar scene, I suppose you've heard them all.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake takes your hand and shivers at that odd sensation, a thrill going down her spine. "I basically have. I just wanted to listen to some jazz. Sound is a bit of a hobby of mine," she states. "I like to enjoy various music. Sound can be a very powerful force." She pulls her hand away, glancing down at it like hse's not sure what happened.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith smiles a bit, a grin playing on his features, "And if I were to offer to buy you that drink anyway, invite you to join me, maybe even try to engage you in some playfully flirtaious banter, Would that detract from your enjoyment of the music Dinah?" he asks with a bit of a naughty school boy look in his pale blue eyes.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles faintly. "One drink with a relatively low alcohol content - and as long as you keep your voice down so I can hear the music, go ahead." She hmmmms softly as she is intrigued by this very seductive man.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith grins wickedly at that, gesturing her to the bar, and then stepping behind it. The grizzled looking batender in the eyepatch mostly just ignores him as he adds ice to a shaker, orange juice, Ketle one vodka, and Southern comfort. He shakes it, strains it, adds some sloe gin which bleeds through the pale liquid and tops it first with Galliano L'Autentico, then garnishes it with an orange slice. "There we are, just because you know the punchline doesn't mean you shouldn't get the drink. A Slow Comfortable screw up agienst the wall. "So you said you sing too? Anything I might have heard?"

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles. "Ever hear of the rock band Ashes on Sunday?" she asks. "I'm the lead singer and guitarist. It's just a minor thing I do in my spare time - my main occupation is small business owner." She raises an eyebrow as you actually serve her that drink as she takes a sip, nodding. "Not bad," she states. "I don't drink much."

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith shakes his head slightly, "Cant say that I've heard of them, sorry." He even looks a bit appologetic at the fact. He makes a small gesture to the bartender, and the one eyed man fetches a decanter from under the bar. He carefully pours the amber liquid into a glass and sets it beside his employers elbow. "In that case, what sort of small business is it you run then? he asks curiously.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles. "A flower shop called Sherwood Florist. I thought the name kinda cute." She hmmmmms softly as she takes another sip. "You are something else, aren't you. So charming... one might think that it's something supernatural or something."

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith grins wickedly at that. "Really? Hmm there is a thought. What would I be? Demon? Nah too pretty. Angel? No, too naughty. Werewolf?" he glances down the front of his shirt "Not enough hair. Vampire? I sure hope not, I like to cook with allot of garlic.." He grins a bit more, "Maybe I'm a wizard?"

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake shrugs. "I don't know... but normally in my expereince guys who are so suave and charming aren't as good as they think they are - sometimes they're comepsating for something." She hmmmmms. "I'll mention that Lucifer is supposed to be the most handsome of all angels."

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith grins wickedly, "Two very good points, though I would counter Lucifer was an angel, not a demon. As for compensating, Well I suppose mentioning I own a sports car wouldn't help my case there, though it's true." he grins a bit and says, "I actully used to be a very shy and reserved kid. Course I was also geeky and ganglely. Basically my sister got a bunch of her...work friends together, sat me down, and made it their pet project to teach me how to talk to women."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles faintly. "Yeah - I could if I want, but I prefer an old rebuilt Harley." She hmmmms softly. "Well, sisters will do that. I was an only child but I turned out okay I think. I was even married once..." She trails off. "And widowed." She sighs softly. "Long story, from a long time ago."

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith nods sympathetically, and reaches out, giving her hand a gentle, lingering touch. And it is a very pleasent touch again, at the same time feelingpleasent and easing a bit of that pain away. He sighs a bit, "Truth be told," he says letting the painful topic of her past lay, "Lara still thinks of me like a baby brother I swear. It can actully be very annoying. SHe's the oldest mind you, so that likely has something to do with it."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake shivers at that touch. It's warm - tingly. Exciting. "Yeah, part of me is glad I'm an only child. Though I wish I had a sibling or two. Have some friends." She hmmmms softly, looking at you, not wanting to remove her hand. She likes your warm touch. "Anyway. You run a great club. Everyone looks happy here - and the singer is great." Right around then, the singer finished her number and stepped down for a break.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith looks up to see Sasha coming off the stage and nods, "She really is fantastic. A great find," he takes a sip of his drink with his other hand, apparently just as reluctant to break the intimate, if mostly innocent contact as well. "I don't suppose you'd care to see the VIP lounge, would you?" he asks with a hint of playfulness in his tone. "It hasn't been reserved for the night, so we'd have it to ourselves."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles faintly. "I haven't been considered a VIP in a while," she muses softly. "Okay. I'm game." She smiles softly. "Perhaps I could even sing for you," she muses, a faint smile on her face.
