Synopsis: Danny Rand meets Richard Dragon. They hit it off about as well as one might expect.
Cast of Characters: Iron Fist, Dragon

Iron Fist has posed:
It was a cool night. The air felt damp and wet, cold even for this early in the Fall. The people walking up and down the street were going home from work, or wherever they were heading to and from, and the city that never sleeps continues on.

Danny Rand doesn't notice the chill or the wet, however, as he walks out of his office with a light yellow jacket and a pair of jeans and a short sleeved shirt. As the doors close behind him, Danny looks left and then right, and puts his hands in his pockets. The steam from his breathing visible in the air, as he decides where to go next.

Dragon has posed:
As soon as Danny exited that building and took that minute gander to the right, he'd see a fellow wearing long robes, with a crimson, stylized dragon coiled around the whole thing in a kind of oriental art. The clothing itself was the attire of Grandmasters of the Martial Arts. A hood was over his head, but he took a glance to Danny, and gave a soft nod.

The look in his eyes seemed to tell a story.

Did he know who Danny was? Regardless, he seems to head into an alley...the question was now, would he be followed.

Iron Fist has posed:
Now that was curious. Danny Rand takes it upon himself to follow, deciding to check out this individual. And something about him...maneuvering that way, Danny picks up his steps, going even quicker, and walks around the corner. "Excuse me, sir. I couldn't help but notice your attire...do you have a minute to chat?" Danny says, with a smile, and a warmth to his voice.

Dragon has posed:
Pausing in his steps, Richard Dragon turns his head to Danny Rand, and he offers the much younger fellow a small smile. "Why hello there. Mr. Rand, yes?" He's not rude enough to speak to him out of formality. After all, they only just met! But, he does bow softly. "Of course. please, speak freely."

Iron Fist has posed:
Stopping in his tracks, Danny comes up short, and nods to the man. Returning the bow respectfully, without his eyes leaving the man, Danny Rand says, "You know who I am. And why do you seem so familiar to me?" Danny says, without too much preamble. "I see that you are a martial artist, the way you move, what you wear. There are very few of us, so it is pretty noticeable." His eyes scan the man, up and down. "And you are...?"

Dragon has posed:
Richard Dragon offers Danny a polite smile. "I do." But he doesn't elaborate. Does he know that he's the Iron Fist? Or does he know that he's just Danny Rand, rich kid? So many questions, so little time. "I'm afraid the question of familiarity is so easily tainted. Perhaps I look like someone that you know?" he chuckles.

"A fine eye of observation. Your training served you well. My name is Richard Dragon." One of the greatest martial artists, if not 'the' greatest martial artist alive at the moment. Thoug hthat position is fickle as it is. "A grandmaster of the martial arts. It's a pleasure to finally meet you officially."

Iron Fist has posed:
"Perhaps. Ah yes! You do look like someone I have discussed with someone before. Lady Shiva. Richard Dragon! She has spoken of you." Danny says, with a relaxed posture, and a smile on his face. "And I am, of course, Danny Rand, the Iron Fist, as you have already guessed. I can see that from your expression." A deeper bow follows his words. "It is an honor to meet you finally as well. Officially!" Danny says, with a grin. "Fancy meeting you here! It is great to meet you."

Dragon has posed:
"Shiva.." Dragon says with a great deal of familiarity. "Once upon a time, she was a student of mine..and a dear friend. Though, like many, she has gone to find her own path." mainly towards Martial perfection. But, he smiles, returning the bow. He talks a lot. "The pleasure is mine. I have heard much about you. I didn't think I was going to meet the Immortal Iron Fist, but truly, it is an honor. Tell me, what brings you out and about?"

Iron Fist has posed:
"She spoke highly of you of course. There was a strange admiration/hatred to her voice. Quite...unique." Danny shakes his head, and smiles, "She is certainly unique as well." Danny moves forward, and offers his hand, "Well, I was just leaving work, thought I'd go for a late dinner, relax, maybe meditate. Same old same old. How about you? What brings the Grandmaster of Martial Arts, Richard Dragon, out and about?" Danny smiles, and regards the man with a keen respect in his eyes.

Dragon has posed:
"Shiva is an interesting woman. I do not take offense to her opinions towards me, whatever they may be. From what I hear, they tend to be about the same for those she shares relatively tolerable relations with." He chuckles very softly, giving Danny's hand a firm handshake. "Well, I simply came to visit one of my old students to see how he was doing...he has been through much, as of late." a sigh. "But, alas, I was on the way home or to a hotel before I came across you." he smiles. "Though, since I have met you, I would not be opposed to learning more of you."

Iron Fist has posed:
"She is that, at best." Danny smiles. Shaking the man's hand, he releases it in the appropriate amount of time, and says, "Yeah, students are hard. That was good of you to do." Danny says, with a nod. "Well, why don't we hit lunch? I know this amazing joint down in China Town that has the best Dim Sung in the city, hands down. Want to join me? My treat? We can get to know each other and I can tell you of my team, the Defenders. We could always use another great fighter on the team!"

Dragon has posed:
Richard almost laughs, but instead settles for a soft chuckle. Though the offer appears to be in good standing, so he finds no fault in it. "Thank you. Unlike many masters, my students are, in many ways, like my own sons and daughters. I care for them a great deal and they hold a close place in my heart." He nods softly. "hmm....I never could turn down Dim Sung. Very well, I accept your offer. The Defenders? I...suppose I could hear about it. Lead on, Danny."
