Date of Scene: 20 November 2018
Location: Long Island, New York City
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Krystina Jordan, Ekaterina Vespucci, Josef Forster

Krystina Jordan has posed:
The Long Island Starbucks is one of the most immaculately kept Starbucks around. Of course, their coffe is decent enough, but not exceptional. That's only because it's produced quickly. The people in the place are friendly, and there's enough room to sit and enjoy your coffee instead of going in and out.

And that is why Krystina is here. She's actually looking up stuff on the internet. Cuz ironically, the Starbecks internet is faster than the internet at the college she went too. "It's funny really. A coffee house internet is faster than the school's. Go figure." She says as she looks up more things for a report that's due.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
Ekaterina bounces into the Starbucks. She's on a lack of coffee low and needs that pick me up. She'd heard about a coffee place out this way and couldn't find it. Needing to recharge - or needing to feed her addiction to the extent that she could have one - she had to resort to Starbucks of all places. Not bad but not entirely good. For once she is not shunted out of the way in line by another New Yorker. She gets her large long black and Donut. Yay!

Coincidentally finding her cup a bit too hot she finds herself needing to rest her cup somewhere. That winds up being on Krystina's table. "Ouch," Kat says as puts her drink down. "Sorry," she offers Krystina, "I don't want to violate your space. My drink was too hot." Kat nurses her hand. She is in winter clothing baggy masking her small frame. Most prominent are the little lady's large alluring cornflower blue eyes.

Josef Forster has posed:
"School is bad for you, it makes your thinking thingy hurt." Says a muscly man by the counter at Krystina's comment. He then turns back, moving up the crowd to the counter and ordering a straight black cup of bile and dropping down into the nearest free table. He doesn't waste a moment in kicking it, looking to regret it immediately as he sits back forward, face scrunched unpleasantly, "Oh, ung, oh it tastes like the rising dead, whew, ah...." He continues like this a few more seconds before calming down to a series of pants....and then kicking the cup back again.

Krystina Jordan has posed:
"it's usually why they put the cups in those sleeves, Ma'am." Krysti says to Ekaterina. "They Start off scalding hot to let them cool to the proper temperature for drinking later. It's part of the fun...the anticipation." She then smirks. "Shame I don't drink coffee. Can't stand the taste of it. the Smell? Oh god...I get hungry from it." She says holding up her plate of sandwiches. "Plus, best internet." Which brings her to Josef. "Well..my 'thinking thingie' is my best attribute."

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"When did you get to taste rising dead?" Kat asks Josef apparently not understanding it was a metaphor if indeed it was one. She looks down at Krystina and smiles sweetly. "I must've left my sleeve behind," as per usual Kat is carrying way too much stuff for her small frame. Papers to grade a few sketches from her students.

Josef Forster has posed:
Josef Forster clears his throat a few times, painedly blinking and sniffling before looking to Kat, "....That'd be the last time I tried chipotle from that cart over on 3rd. That was a bad night." He then glances over to Krystina, ".....If you say so." He says with a wink, pausing a few seconds before chuckling with amusement, quickly stifled by another chug of coffee and the look of truest suffering and despair.

Krystina Jordan has posed:
"Heh...then you should have better ways to carry things. believe me, I learned the hard way too." Krysti says to Kat before looking to Josef. "You look like you're in pain when you drink that....so why are you drinking it?"

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"I try - I just wind up carrying more stuff when I find a solution," Kat is at least partially aware of her own dysfunctions. As for what Josef said Kat has to second Krystina's question, "Why indeed?"

Josef Forster has posed:
Josef Forster sniffles a bit, "...I got moved to third shift. Gotta stay up for it. Need liquid evil to keep me going." He kicks the cup back again and then claps it down on the table, "Oh thank god, finaly done..." One of the barristas behind the counter leans out towards him, "Hey, want another?" Without raising his head from the table, Josef responds, "Yes please, thank you..." A few seconds later letting out the tiniest whine, sounding especially pathetic coming from mister mcmuscles here.

Krystina Jordan has posed:
"You DO know there are other blends than just that right? Or do you like to burn the taste out of your mouth?" Krysti just....sighs. "Well....If you're gonna keep drinking it, you've really got no reason to complain." She says as she takes a drink of her soda. "See? I said I don't like coffee at all...so I don't drink it."

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"It's all in the acidity level even black coffee can be quite sweet provided you have fresh beans and a clean machine." Kat observes this sagely. "Oh Sono la Contessa Ekaterina Vespucci," Kat says introducing herself. "But people call me Kat," she does it all with a small curtsey.

Josef Forster has posed:
Josef Forster groggily pushes himself back up to slouch in his chair, "I just need something that'll kick me awake for the extra hours I need. To many late nights lately. Ladies, dont get into reading, it's addictive, the time just disappears before your very eyes." The barrista calls back over to him, and he gets up to get his fresh cup, tossing the empty one on his way.

Krystina Jordan has posed:
"I get into reading a lot. It's part of what I do." Krystina says. Then Josef gets up, and she looks to Kat. "Krystina Jordan. Just call me Krysti." She then watches Josef. "You'd think he liked being hurt."

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
Kat looks at Josef quizically not registering his lack of introduction before turning to Krysti, "Pleased to meet you. You are doing an assignment maybe? What is it you are researching?"

Krystina Jordan has posed:
"Eh....just looking up some things, mostly for a friend." Krysti sighs a bit. "Mostly about an intelligent gorilla who is able to use holograms. The best I can find so far is a....Gorilla Grodd. There were other things too, but they've been taken care of."

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"I've met Grodd!" Kat says, "He was astoundingly amiable. But there are other Gorillas whjo use holograms and are intelligent around here apart from him. There's one who hangs around New York City."

Krystina Jordan has posed:
"Well....he tried to put a net over me." Krysti says as she closes her laptop. "But....I finished my research anyways." She then smiles to Kat. "Sadly, I do have to get going." She says lightly patting Kat on the shoulder, then grabs her sandwiches and soda. "I'll be around." She says as she starts her way out.

And Kat has exxperienced the glory of Starbucks.
