Date of Scene: 18 April 2017
Location: Gotham City Harbor
Synopsis: Summary needed.
Cast of Characters: Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez), Aquaman

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
In the vast expanse of the Ocean, There are seldom too many surprises. Of course you get Surface Dwellers being goofs occasionally but for the most part, there is a rhythm to the way things work. Once you're used to it, it's very easy to pick up on changes. That is something that Lorena is counting on.

After her encounter with Batman, She had a little chat with a couple sea bass. She sent them to Atlantis with a message to be delivered to Aquaman. That message was simple, 'We need to talk. Come to Gotham Harbor.' The number of people who can communicate with sealife is rather limited after all.

The young woman then started her investigation. She was not as good as the Bat but she did have talent for Detective work. So she began getting her mind into the game. If she were Killer Croc where would she hide?

Aquaman has posed:
There are many things that King Arthur of Atlantis could be doing at this moment. There are many conversations that he could be having. There are countless papers to read, meetings to have and decisions to make. However, at the moment that his Sea-Mail Message arrived, the Aquaman was doing the only thing that he very rarely gets to do.

Rest.

Perhaps he would've taken the opportunity to ignore things but these were times of great possibility. Anything could be a threat to Atlantis at this point. If Lorena had sent sea life to him with a message then there had to be a legitimate reason. With a snatching of his Trident the Aquaman was off.

It took him no time at all to reach Gotham Harbor. His approach is marked by the arrival of a couple of sharks, as Arthur made his presence known with a simple and regal greeting. "Lorena." The Aquaman doesn't waste time when there are possible threats afoot.

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez smiles a little as Arthur arrives with his usual Pomp and Flare. "Hola Arthur!" She smiles and swims toward him and does actually give a little polite bow. Sure she's not an official Atlantean. Still its polite.

The girl gives a little smile, "Sorry I didn't give alot of information. I was out here minding my business and a few of your friends dropped in as well as an enemy." She gestures over to the shattered marble on the ground. "Batman and umm, Red Hood? I think that was his name. He also apparently didn't understand that sound moves a lit easier through water. Apparently that one was curious if I laid eggs." She rolls her eyes. "Anyway. The marble mess over there is Clayface. One of their villains. I may have had a part in his current state. Batman said he would be by to clean it up."

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman actually smiles just a bit at the bow. It's nice to be respected even if he doesn't require it. Earned respect is something that cannot be replaced and Arthur's heart swells every time such things are expressed in his direction. His grip on his Trident tightens, though, as he listens to what is being said.

"He better. My ocean is not a playground." Arthur is pretty sure that Batman has left some sort of listening apparatus around here. So those words may be more for his enjoyment than to actually inform Lorena of anything. "You don't, do you?" Aquaman kneels next to the marble pile and looks down to inspect it while his attempt at humor is left to linger over Lorena's head.

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez just gives a look to Arthur and laughs. "no. No I don't. Ask the sharks why they like to circle around me every so often! And it wasn't batman that said that. It was that Capucha Roja person." Snickers a little. "He had your Batman Friend caught inside himself. Capucha Roja cut up Clayface and I just punched him. Got Batman out and here he is. Batman said he would slowly begin to reform himself and when he is a little more pulled together he would get him."

She looks around and just blushes a little, considering she really did a number on Clayface. "There is another thing. Batman asked me to look into another enemy of his. One more water bound. His name is Killer Croc. Do you know anything about him? I've not heard the name. I mean I have an idea where to look but if I were him I'd avoid that place just on the basis of the whole alligators in the sewer thing being cliche."

Aquaman has posed:
"Hm." Aquaman rises to his feet again and perhaps tucks away something into his belt before he turns around to face Lorena again. "Killer Croc. I've heard the name but it has been more whispers in the water than anything." Aquaman crafts just a bit of a smile as he looks at Lorena. "I suppose I could spare a few minutes to go fishing. If this Killer Croc is more Croc than Killer, perhaps we can find him easier." A pair of fingers goes up to touch the side of his head as a bit of a hint.

"But this is the last time I do Batman's legwork." Another comment for the possible Bat-Recorder that has to be around here somewhere!

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez smiles a little and nods. She sighs, "I think I may check the Sewers for him. I hate to say it but, It seems some of these Surface Dweller villains like their cliches." She smiles a little. "Also he asked because apparently this Killer Croc spends more time in the water then on the surface."

She smiles and then frowns, "I am not swimming in the Sewer. No way! Uh uh! Eso es una locura y no hay manera! It is totally not happening!" She shutters and gags over the idea of swimming through... that.

Aquaman has posed:
"Then we will search the sewers together. I will accompany you on your search, Lorena. In the event that we find this Killer Croc I don't want you to have to face him alone. If Batman has asked for assistance with him then I fear he may be an even more formidable opponent than you realize."

Aquaman straps the Trident of Poseidon to his back and moves to stand next to Lorena. "We will face the horrors of the Gotham Sewer System together. Here's to hoping that the stench alone will not kill us." Yet another joke from the Aquaman. That's two in a row! He must be feeling particularly humorous this day. "Lead on."

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez shutters at this thought. Quickly she swims to the bottom, Not terribly far from the shattered mess that is Clayface. It's where she had been just resting before she got so rudely interrupted by Clayface and the Engulfed Bat. She quickly grabs an item from there, An Atlantean Trident. Definitely not the big one that Aquaman uses. Just a normal one! "Here we go."

With that she takes off, swimming towards the shore. Once on shore, she moves toward the street, to a manhole and easily takes the cap off. "After you?"

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman rolls his eyes for just a moment before looking down into the sewer now that there's a big opening for him to drop through. "If there was ever a down side to having an enhanced sense of smell..." Aquaman doesn't finish before he drops through the open manhole and lands down in the sewer with a mighty thud.

With no need for his eyes to adjust to the darkness he immediately starts reaching out with his mind, engaging in that Aquatelepathy, to see if he can't get some kind of sense of which direction they should be headed in. "Be careful, Lorena. Who knows what dangers lurk beneath the streets of Gotham."

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez drops down as well. The smell is enough to gag a maggot. The girl quietly begins moving her own vision rapidly adjusting to the dark. "Of the things I wanted to do today, I am pretty sure this is the bottom of the list." She begins focusing her own aquatelepathy. Sure her's isn't near as strong as Arthur's but she could still likely pick up on any sea life.

"Okay if I were this guy, I would want someplace big to call a base but thats just a perk. I'd need quick access to the surface so I could do whatever it is I intended to do. I don't know much about Gotham myself, I was from the other side of the country after all. What do you know about it?"

Aquaman has posed:
"It's dark. It's crime ridden. I am not sure I believe in the way Batman and his Knights handle their dispensing of justice. But it is not my city so I keep my opinions to myself." Aquaman heads down a path that takes them deeper into the darkness of the sewers. It's a bit hard for Arthur's Aquatelepathy to single out Killer Croc due to the fact that he may not actually be completely sea life but he should be able to sense him at the very least.

"On the up side, when we find and capture this beast, we will turn it over to the authorities." Aquaman grins a little bit. "And then Batman will owe us one."

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez winces a little. "So the sewer might extend beyond the lower parts of the city. Makes sense." She snickers. "I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to be down here though. Its so gross!"

The path comes to a junction. The waste water is flowing down a hills from left to right. "Umm.. Left? I think it would be more likely for him to not go too deep in. After all, Crocs are amphibious right?"

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman listens to Lorena's reasoning and gives a nod in response. "Never let it be said that a citizen of Sub Diego doesn't possess the necessary skills to be the world's greatest aquatic detective." Aquaman nods. "Left."

Aquaman heads to the left and expands his Aquatelepathy to sweep through that path that he's headed towards. He wants to make sure that nothing is going to jump out and attempt to get the drop on them. "They are." Aquaman finally responds to her question. "Which should make it easier for us to put an end to this creature's crimes. Which are... did Batman even inform you to what this Killer Croc has done?"

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez frowns and shakes her head, "Sadly no. I wish he would have. I mean, A name like Killer Croc makes me think he's a murderer type. Still, I'm not completely sure what this guy did to merit Batman's attention." She thinks a moment. "Lets capture him, take him to their Authorities and let them sort it out. If Batman is right, they will have a criminal in hand. If he's innocent, they will let him go."

When Aquaman compliments her detective work, she blushes a little, "Gracias." She smiles. "It just comes pretty natural honorstly." She thinks a little. "What direction is the ocean from here?" She asks as she continues thinking. "If I'm right, there will be either a blocked off area in that direction to prevent waste water from being released into the ocean or a dead end. If it's a dead end, odds are there will be a more spacious area. That would likely give him access to the Docks."

Aquaman has posed:
"You know your sewers. Are you sure you haven't been down here before?" Another joke from the Aquaman as he moves towards the direction that he has managed to figure out because of a combination of Lorena's words and his own Aquatelepathy. "This way." Aquaman takes one more turn and leads the way down yet another path because there's probably an opportunity to be prepared for battle.

"I'm sure the surfacers will handle him in whatever way they deem necessary."

Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez) has posed:
Lorena Marquez laughs, "Arthur would you allow a City like Gotham to dump their bio waste into the ocean?" Its a pretty rhetorical question. She knows there is no way he'd allow that sort of thing. "We'd have seen it. That means they deal treat it and purify it, making it useful for drinking again. WHich is still disgusting." She shutters a little at the thought.

She nods to him and takes hold of her Trident. Just because they haven't found him yet doesn't mean that she isn't going to get ready. "We're getting close. I can feel it."
