Sentinels: Down by the Docks
Date of Scene: 27 February 2019
Location: Bludhaven Docks
Synopsis: Red Hood and Galina investigate what was beyond the Crimson Dynamo facility. They run afoul of the FSB.
Cast of Characters: Red Hood, Crimson Dynamo, Arsenal
Tinyplot: Sentinels

Red Hood has posed:
The 'Haven's littered with failed housing projects; monuments to wrongheaded Federal programs. They're mostly filled with crackheads and runaways. 'The Spine' is Blüdhaven's Main Street - the city's 'sin central'. It draws the merchant seamen and foreign sailors from the piers. The Spine leads down to the docks, or what some call the asscrack of Bludhaven. Another one of those failed pork barrel programs, the Docks were supposed to be a beacon to welcome commerce to the city, instead, it's just another failed example of big spending go bad.

So it's the perfect place for the Russians to have set up just to prove the failure of the captalist Americans. Or at least the FSB.

Red Hood is frustrated. Sentinels were in his city. Sure, Sentinels are a threat to mutants. And he's no mutant. But it's bad for business. Next thing you know, they'll be making hunter killer robots for masks or some shit.

Having left his motorcycle stashed in a safe location, the Hood makes his way along the rows of shipping containers. He remembers talking to the Crimson Dynamo's pilot. It was convienent the way she had shown up on the docks - she has to be nearby. Once he finds her? He's betting there's something else nearby.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
The Dynamo is a relic in many ways, it's logistical footprint alone is immense. It's why funding is always such a huge deal, why the Dynamo took this American job to begin with. All those spare parts, weapon packages, special oil, hydraulic fluid and so fourth? It takes up a lot of space, too much space to have ever hidden it away at the embassy. Hell the suit barely fits there at it is, but thats beside the point. It's why theres a warehouse down here, hiding in plain sight.

Under the cloak of night, Galina moves with admirable stealth considering the sort've high profile work she's best known for. Gravel crunching under boot as she stalks across a rooftop opposite the warehouse, stepping just close enough to the edge to peer over to watch the warehouse carefully. She's supposed to be in New York, her VDV buddies assured the FSB she didn't need a minder tonight. Told them she needed to blow off some steam, which isn't a complete lie. Watching for the guard rotation she knows is coming, because thats supposed to be her shit these guys are guarding. She's been inside the place a dozen times, so why can't she just stroll in there? Well, there have been irregularities and veiled threats.

So casually she tugs down the collar of her undersuit, and drives a hyperdermic home. Smashing that plunger, and waiting for a moment for the cocktail to hit her blood stream before she pulls the thing out. Muscles loosen, her nervous system ceases to be on fire for at least a short while and that driving migraine slips away. She hitches the needle into a pouch, and snags that bolt action with a huff. Can't verywell be using russian gear here, righto?

Red Hood has posed:
"<<Betting you're not a diabetic.>>"

The voice comes from the shadows above Galina. When she glances up, the dim light shines on the black and brown clad figure of Red Hood. And the fact that he already has a pistol out. The Russian isn't /bad/ but it could use some work.

"Who was it that decided Sentinels to the Friends of Humanity was a good idea? FSB? Russian Armed Forces? Or was that the plan all along? Heard the Russians have had problems with the supply train - guessing a goodwill tour is a good way to sneak them in plain sight. And who better than a tired Russian sergeant whose already half robot to lead the way."

And he waits in the shadows above her. The light in his lens are at a dull low, as he waits for his answers to the questions he asked as he glances towards the warehouse and then back to her. "Or should I just go find out for myself?"

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
"I'm not in good shape, being a hero is a rough trade."Comes a tired, casual response. She hadn't expected this would all go unnoticed of course, but she'd hoped she'd have a little more time before things got chugging along. "FSB is my guess, expect they mean to blame it on me. Say it was rogue Dynamo ultra nationalist, likely had laugh over using a mutant lover like the Dynamo to sneak these things in." That T-slotted helmet finally swings over to Red hood, red light flaring to life before settling down to a soft glow. "I will allow you to come with me without complaint, as witness I have no part in these things. I will also request, you keep anything you see not related to FSB activity a strict secret."

That bolt action rifle is of course bullpup DTI that American intelligence is so fond of, no telling of course where she got it. Or the suppressed 1911 on her hip, or those American frags on her chest plate. It seems even she has some stashes of her own, or at least friends with cashola. "Is this agreement acceptable to you?"

Red Hood has posed:
The Hood considers for a moment, and then the smirk is audible inside of his helmet. "Super hero team ups are usually Nightwing's thing." he says with a chuff of amusement. "And all the other Bats seem to have female sidekicks. So sure, why not. Just to give you a different name."

"Like Red Tide or something. I'll work on it."

He doesn't drop to the ground, though Galina's analysis will show that he's carrying much more than just that one pistol. When isn't he? Pulling back up to a standing position, he gestures with the pistol as he tucks it away. "After you."

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
"I'm not quite as 'red' as I used to be, already have new name worked out."She steps up to the edge to take a knee, swinging that rifle up to her shoulder to take aim. "How does "Ultra-dynamo" sound to your American ears? "Air Strike" was supposed to be the successor to the Dynamo program as whole, but no money."Inhale, exhale. Then a careful pull of the trigger and, well it's fairly anticlimactic up on the roof. Hell when she fans the action open and shut again, theres more clatter.

A form on the warehouse roof shudders, as a 123 grains of "Sit the fuck down" are driven through the top of his skull. The warehouses's carefully concealed overwatch sniper has been removed from play. Casually, she polices up her empty brass before intoning softly over the wireless. <<Overwatch down, clear approach from the west. Expect there is another look out uptop on opposite side of roof, watch line of approach.>>

Red Hood has posed:
"Those are both terrible names." This from a man calling himself Red Hood. He'll think on it as he marks the first man down. She's going for kills. And that raises a certain feeling with the Hood. One he hasn't felt in a while.

It'd feel really good right now. That sense of fear. Knowing that look in their eyes as their life drains out. Come on Jason. It'd be easy.

Shaking off that quick sensation, he offers up a grunted. "How about Bloodlust." A warning, perhaps, as he quiets. Coming up behind guard two - his takedown is not as brutal - but equally effective. A quick punch to the kidney's to disable the man followed by a solid hit to the back of the skull to incapacitate him. Zipties and a gag truss up the guard as he glances towards the back of the building.

<<That where they're keeping your extra parts?>>

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
<<I gave him a soldier's death.>>Comes her only reply. She takes a long step off the building, and well it's not a super quiet touch down but she doesn't light that jet up or break the concrete at least. <<These men are not criminals, they are FSB animals. When an animal goes rabid, you do not arrest it.>>Casually strolling past the knocked out guards with a wince behind that helmet. Really, not one kill?

The containers in question are indeed already open, the parts in question? Well those are rocket pods, chain guns, miniguns, explosive line launchers, anti tank missiles, what looks like a cut down tank cannon, munitions and of course parts. From motivators to jet engines, chunks of pre-formed ERA applique, spare RPG chains, everything you need to keep the dynamo running. Theres also humanoid shape beneath a drop cloth over there, armor to be precise. Rifles, grenades, light machine guns, grenades, even a few spare undersuits. Oh and merch, ever wanted a Crimson dynamo T-shirt?

Behind that though, well they've attempted to sort of gate it off with barrels and crates, an attempt to make it look incidental. They've hidden it behind a pair of box trucks, but indeed sharp eyes will spot it. Connex boxes painted in dull grey, rather than the red/white/blue of the russian federation like the dynamo gear. <<Incidentally, do not touch venko generators with bare hands. Will dissolve flesh from bone.>> Important facts, yaknow?

Red Hood has posed:
<<Not all goons know they're goons.>> Hood pauses. Dammit, now he's even beginning to sound like the old man. Shaking off that momentary thought, his eyes scan over the gear, and he gives a low whistle. "Remind me to invite you to my next 4th of July bar-b-que." he comments dryly. The humanoid shapes are glanced at, but he's betting those are armor forms - other Dynamos in case Galina gets trashed in the original. Then he pauses. There's a glance towards the woman.

<<They brought everything, didn't they?>>

The question is a simple one - the understanding deeper - she's not going home, is she? There's a lift of his brow as the Red Hood jumps down towards the ground and starts towards the box trucks. <<Suppose this is better than a .22 to the base of the skull, huh.>>

Lifting himself over the truck, he pauses. And the drops back down. The anger is evident in his posture as he turns to Galina. "How long did you know?" he asks her.

When she looks herself, she'll see. Sure, the first two Sentinels? They may have been destroyed in Kingston Park. But in this secure area, behind these box trucks? There's a large assembly area. Familiar purple and grey forms are set up. Cranes and other construction equipment shows that they are working on assembling.

Two Sentinels are already near completion, while in their own bays, another four are under construction.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
<<I brought everything.>>She clarifies, which is a small point but an important one. <<The Dynamo protects the people, not just the powerful. They are concerned that I will protect the people from them, which would be problematic.>> She follows along slowly, taking care to make sure they're alone here. If this goes sideways there can't be any FSB witnesses left, and that complicates this team up.

<<I knew it was something, I did not know it was this. Not until I was in the park, and I saw them with my own eyes.>>That masked woman with a colt commando? Yep.

<<It was not enough that they do this evil at home.>>She offers softly, dropping down to step into the assembly area. A trained eye giving the sentinels a slow careful study, she'll need to know the details so as to better destroy them in the future it seems. <<I am not much of a hacker, I had the Red Guardian for such things. Could we adjust their targeting matrix?>>

Red Hood has posed:
"I'd need someone better at this shit then me, lady." Red Hood admits. He's taking it all in with his cameras as he draws both pistols from their holsters. Much like the American cowboy, right?

Dammit Barbie. Where are you when I could use you on this?

Hopefully someplace warmer and nicer. She's earned it. Unknowingly, as the two walk, a small alert goes off in the Consulate office - one of them hit a pleasure plate inbetween the two trucks. The back of the warehouse opens, and several FSB men start to make their way in.

They're armed, and apparently not looking to take prisoners tonight as they immediately open fire on Jason. A string of cusswords, half English, half Russian come out of the Hood's mouth as he fires back, running to take cover behind one of the Sentinel bases.

More men show up on the catwalk. They aren't playing when it comes to security. Turning to glance at Galina, the Hood frowns. "Would now be a good time to suit up?"

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
She wasn't ready for this, she had -plans- to do this neat and tidy. Plans, of course are just lists of things that don't happen. She turns, loosing a round from that bolt gun before just dumping it. Even before the suggestion, she's sprinting across the warehouse floor. A lift jet fires, and she lifts in a gentle arc over those containers and out of the line of fire. Jason is on his own for the moment.<<Tak tochno!>>

From there it's all on automatic, honestly. She hits the ground in a slide, jerking that hidden ripcord to release her undersuit's armor panels. She rips off the drop cloth, and gets right to it. Tugging on gear she hasn't worn since the olden days, when all was good and right in the world. <<I'm going to need a hand getting this stuff out of here, without American police. You know anyone who can hide a few containers for a little while?>>

She ditches her undersuit helmet, pulling on the dynamo helmet with a happy little sigh. Even with the gunfire, even with the shouting and the distance? The moment those old venko generators are roused from their slumber, you can -feel- the charge build in the air. Softly thrumming in time with her heartbeat, as she flips on the loud speaker. "Urrrraaaa!"

Arsenal has posed:
See, Roy knows how these events tend to play out, so whether Jason knew it or not, Arsenal was trailing him until he found a good vantage point in the warehouse rafters to lay down some heat when the time came. Until then, he kicks back in his full slightly armored regalia, quiver on his back and trucker hat on his head.

But, when shit hits the fan faster than a Cowboys Football Fumble, Roy just sighs.

He touches two fingers to his ear. "Well, that's like 5 minutes from the record. Need a hand?" he speaks softly as to not give away his position.

Roy had an arrow drawn and ready to fire, his left eye closed as he just smirks, firing it at one of the gunmen, and the whistle of the red arrow is heard. The ultra-sharp tip hits one of the gunmen right in the head, hopefully drawing some fire to where the gunmen THINK his position is.

Wait, is that guy's head....beeping?

Red Hood has posed:
"Sure, just let me call U-Haul and see what they have." Red Hood responds as he feels bullets panging off of the armored heel of the Sentinel he's taken cover behind. Sliding out from the side of it, he fires several shots in response, trying his best not to go for kill shots. Has to keep to the rules.

Galina doesn't have that paticular problem, as she gets kitted up. When as the Mk 4 Crimson Dynamo powers up and wanders into the fray, Jason eyes go wide as the lumbering armor comes by. "Damn, nice. But we're still outnumbered like 10 to 1."

Then Roy's arrow strikes home, and starts to beeping. "Make that 20 to 3." He's ducking down, before calling out to Roy. "Remember the Russian girl I told you about? Kind of hot, metallic arm you'd dig?" He points to the Dynamo. "She's inside. No shooting her, yeah!"

One of the FSB men, realizing what happened reaches for his radio. <<Crimson Dynamo has gone rogue. We need the contingency!>>

<<Contingency is deploying. Ten seconds.>>

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
That brilliant star emblazoned across her chest erupts for the first time in maybe, what ten years? It's glorious, right? The Dynamo comes surging out of the containers, ploughing into one FSB nut and driving him into the side of a truck hard enough to nearly cleave him in half. A half turn, thrusters sputter for a moment before firing and she rockets upwards. Rolling up over backwards to hit the catwalk ever so softly. She waits for a moment. Reaching a hand out to grasp that handrail before the entire catwalk erupts.

Electricity dances across the lattice work, ploughing through the FSB up there to the tune of a few million volts. Men erupt into flames, muscles contracting as they're flash cooked. "Come on you want to kill me, you hitlerite traitors? Well come on, I'm going to make you bleed for it!"

Arsenal has posed:
"Oh shit, for real? Give her my number for me will ya!"

Roy calls back to Jason, probably giving away his position in the process. "Just tell her to keep out of the blast zone!" then that beeping arrow lodged in that guy's head? It explodes as if it were a grenade, hopefully sending lethal shrapnel into at least three others, and making quite the explosion.

Michael Bay would be proud.

Red Hood has posed:
"Okay, if you two start trying to one up each other for kills, I'm going to feel like a total third wheel on this date." comes the rumbling response from Red Hood. He fires a couple of more shots to take down one of the guards, and he frowns. "What's that?"

The Crimson Dynamo's alerts go crazy inside the suit. Something she's felt before - but not in a long time.

Darkness seems to crawl and coalesce in the middle of the room. When it snaps and crackles, a portal opens, and standing there in the middle of the warehouse, is four familiar to Galina figures.

First is a large green suit of armor. Titanium Man. Known enemy of Iron Man. Agent for hire. It'd make sense that the FSB would have him. The other three? Not a bit. The shapely blonde that teleported them there with a black bodysuit with white accents and a starburst pattern on her chest. A man in red and black armor remincient of Captain America's, with a double-headed eagle shield. And a gigantic bear.

"Galina Nemirovsky!" comes Vanguard's announcement, "You are under arrest for treason and murder of Russian Federation officials. Surrender now, or be taken down by the WINTER GUARD!"

"I vote take down!" Titanium Man doesn't even wait, as he rushes towards the armored women, looking to smash her in. Darkstar, the blonde, starts to fire concussive blasts of dark energy into the rafters to try to take down Roy - while Vanguard charges for Jason's position. Ursa Major, after a moment's thought, gets on all fours and charges the Dynamo as well.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
<<You two should leave, leave now and run as fast and as far as your legs will carry you. I will stay, there is no land beyond me for them.>>She cranks that suit way past it's redline, pushing armor that was out've date when new right to the limits immediately out of the gate. She ploughs through the catwalk hand rail, hitting hurtling foreward and rolling to the right to dodge the incoming Titanium man. He wasn't the one she was scared of, it was the power house who -used- to be her very best friend in the world. Dark Star.

The Dynamo half turns, shoulders opening up to spew rockets fourth in a wide pattern. These things were too old to have homing capabilities, but they should make for a fine distraction. "Traitors!"

She rolls forward as she cuts the thrusters, aiming to plough right into darkstar out of the gate. She needs to land some hate or this won't last very long at all. "Laynia knock it off! It's me you stupid bitch!"

Arsenal has posed:
"Well, that's what you get for telling me about the hot Russian!" Roy grumbles back to Jason, before he looks up at the alerts, two arrows knocked into his bow. "Well, that's almost never a good sign."

Then, they start crying out thingsl ike WINTER GUARD! and all the strongest Russian accents in the world.

"Oh shit, are they gonna start twirling flags or-" OH SHIT. Titanium Man is on the move and Darkstar is aiming at him! Roy, showcasing his acrobatic skill, backflips off the rafters and mid-fall, fires those two arrows at Darkstar! hoping to take her down at the knees. Because energy manipulation is a bitch.

He rolls once his feet touch the ground and he instantly moves for cover, already picking his arrows and strategizing how he wants to go about this.

Red Hood has posed:
"Yeah, I don't think you're new friends are going to let us stroll out of here." Jason remarks. Firing off several shots into Vanguard's shield as they bounce off, the Hood is leaping backwards, trying to keep himself some distance from the brawling and brawny mutant Hero of the Republic.

Vanguard slams Jason against the side of the Sentinel, forcing one of the guns from his hand. "You should have listened to the traitor." he says dryly. "You are not going to leave this room free tonight."

With Crimson Dynamo trying to slam into Darkstar, Laynia turns to her 'friend'. "I know who you are. I know you are a traitor. You came here to try to flee. To leave us behind. We will not allow it!" Dark enegery tendrirls rip from her when she shoves the Dynamo back.

Which was a setup. Titanium Man grabs one arm of the Dynamo while Ursa Major grabs the other. They both pull back hard, causing the armor to pop and creak along it's shoulder joins - the pair of them looking to literally rip the armor apart limb by limb.

This is bad. He knows it's bad. Red Hood pushes his feet against Vanguard's shield, shoving him back as he drops to the ground. Rolling backwards, Jason pushes himself to his feet.

Roy's arrows slam into Darkstar, shoving her backwards, but they did not get through the black matter that surrounds the young woman. Lifting her hand, she starts to crush the metallic catwalk in around Roy, looking to trap him within it. "Americans and their toys." she says with a small sneer.

"Roy! Get the hell outta here!" He's seen his best friend captured before - and he doesn't want to have him turned over to the tender mercies of the Russians. "I'll be along as soon as I can!" He's going to do the dumb, isn't he? Probably.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
"Fuck you!"Comes the immediate retort as the duo scoop up her arms. Generators running hot as she tries desperately to muscle through it, but she doesn't have the juice to both pull back and shock at the same time. "I'm gonna chew the eyes out've yer faces and skull fuck you chuckle fucks!"She does the crazier thing, well no the craziest thing. The thing Bukharin never would have done, she lights that lift jet and firewalls it. Legs kicking frantically to get the whole trio airborn if only for a moment, just long enough to get her arms free.

Shoulder joints groan and pop, paint flecks bursting free. She doesn't have that aux-port in this suit, her undersuit has no juice to cool her. She was running hot before she lit those jet boots up, but now she's cooking. Interior warning droning on about coolant temp, about her heart rate, about primary drive pressure, about everything really. "UUURRRAAAA!"

Arsenal has posed:
"I'm not sure if insulting them further is the best idea, Russian Iron Man!" Roy calls out to Galina, before Red is telling him to make like a Catholic and start Roman in a direction far away from here, Roy just looks at his best friend and shrugs. "Oh come the hell on, we can take 'em!" Though he does sigh. "Fine, fine!" Roy draws a flash bang arrow and fires it directly at Darkstar's chest! hoping that it will explode on contact or in her vicinity...he let that bad boy heat up.

But only then does he attempt to make his escape, a grappling hook arrow firing into the rafters so he could swing out of that shit show!

Hopefully, the flash bang might be able to help out Galina as well, but he's not counting on it.

Red Hood has posed:
While the jetwash is enough to get Ursa Major free, Titanium Man's own jet boots power on, wrenching hard at the Crimson Dynamo's arm, looking to rip the whole thing off and away from the rest of the suit. Darkstar is struck by that flash bang and the violent light causes her to cry out as she's knocked away from the others.

"Darkstar!" Vanguard calls out to his sister as she's struck, and the man turns towards Roy as he's fleeing. "You will not escape." he intones, preparing to throw the shield at Arsenal when Jason suddenly leaps at him, side-tackling the mutant shield carrier. "No you don't!" he calls out as he slams into the side of the man.

For his troubles, he gets a shield to the back of the helmet, slamming Jason to the ground with a grunt. Getting back to her feet, Darkstar turns to her former friend, and dark tendrils reach out, wrapping around the Dynamo's legs. "You will not escape!" And she swings the armor hard, looking to slam it into several shipping containers and collapse them on both armors!

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
Titanium man always was a few screws loose, and nowhere near as clever as he thought he was. The Dynamo turns her full attention to a foe every single Crimson Dynamo before her has loathed, and on a basic emotional level? She'll take whatever comes, for just these few moments one on one. She rolls in flight, coming face to face for a moment before that free hand grabs the collar of his armor and -CRASH- she smashes that helmet into his with raw animal ferocity. Ever wonder why the dynamo helmets have that reinforced ridge along the top? She smashes it in over and over again, she's already had two traumatic brain injuries whats another right?

Then that right arm comes back, and she diverts full suit power. It's enough juice to flash cook the skin of her right arm, and then she swings. The arc flash before that thing connects with his chest is enough to scramble electronics for blocks. The blow itself is no less impressive mind, but she's not going for a disabling blow here. No she'd be happy to put her armored fist right through the guy. She reaches back for another, and then those shipping containers come crashing down and the pair go to the floor.

Her HUD is now flashing just about every single warning it has, her left arm venkos are crushed. Her right arm at thirty percent, battery power at eight percent, not a single subsystem is operating normally and suit temps are rising well above a hundred fourty degrees. Still, she stirs. She should be out of this fight, she could give up now with no shame.

Slowly the Crimson Dynamo rises from the pile, It's lost the left shoulder guard entirely. Her right leg might've been crushed if it wasn't already prosthetic, helmet dented and covered in green paint. Waves of heat rising as she limps foreward. Fingertips in that right hand arcing with electricity. "Come on! Finish it you cowards, That the best you fucking got?"

Arsenal has posed:
aaaand SAFE!

THe assist goes to number 2, Jason Todd, the 34th one of his professional career.

Roy gives a nod of thanks to Jason before he draws another arrow. Roy's eyes widen. There's a red punching glove on it. "Oh my god. We meet again. Don't fail me now!" and he fires that arrow off of one of the walls, using his interesting angle to allow the arrow to narrowly glide off the wall, causing a sharp turn of direction, hopefully greeting vanguard in the face with a 'WHACK' because nobody hits the best friend and gets away with it.

Except Roy of course.

for Darkstar, he grabs a tazer arrow and fires at her direction as well, and it should be noted that Roy has not stopped moving. "Hey! pick on someone your own size!"

Roy that was stupid.

Red Hood has posed:
Titanium Man gives a string of curses as he's slammed against, headbutted, and ultimately, that massive blasts through his chest armor sends him crashing into another cargo container, causing it to collapse in around him, several car alarms going off from the vehicles that yet to be removed from them.

"There is no hero's death for you! Hold her!" Vanguard commands, as Darkstar reaches out with her powers to try to restrain the Dynamo in her grip. Then the boxing glove arrow comes flying in, smacking Darkstar right in her pretty face. How dare you hit a girl, Roy Harper?! Dynamo breaks free from the black tendrils, but before she can advance, the return of Ursa Major happens as he grapples Galina from behind. "Nyet!" he growls, the massive man bear lifting the suit off the ground and twisting, suplexing the Dynamo head first into the concrete dock.

As he pulls back, Vanguard jumps over the bear as it crouches and the Mutant Hero of the Russian Federation slams his shield into a vulnerable point on the undercarriage of the armor, looking to sever the power source from the suit.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
That suplex hits HARD, and theres that terrible sort've wheezing suck of somone who's autonomic system just got it's god damned bell rung. Writhing on the pavement, boots kicking until that shield comes down with a pop and a fizzle. The Dynamo stills for a moment, before coughing. "Idi na Khui, Yebanaya pizda!"Hey she's not dead, hooray everyone!

She lifts a now unpowered arm up clumsily, pawing at that helmet for a moment before she can get it off and hurl it lamely towards the vanguard. "Fuck you Nikolai, fuck you!"Her skin is bright almost salmon, cooked. Nose broken badly, lips swollen, one eye swollen shut and face covered with blood. Still she tries to get back into the fight. Can't say she lacks heart, right? "I don't know what madness this is, but I swear to god I'm gonna kill you real fucking slow. I'm gonna make that shit last you fucking pig!"

Red Hood has posed:
"You are done." Nikolai intones. He doesn't even need to fight her. Instead, it's Ursa Major. Dear Ursa Major, the one she was so worried about. The one that was taken away and locked up. His massive paws grab the edges of the suit and rip it apart as he reaches for the woman within.

In all of this, Jason has been surrounded by FSB goon squads that have their rifles trained on him as he starts to struggle to get up. "..guess asking if anyone wants some borscht is out of the question?" he asks, as his lifts his hands to put them behind his head.

Arsenal has posed:
To be fair, it certainly would not be the first time that Roy has hit a woman. Okay, the first time was CHeshire, because she tried to assassinate him okay?! yeesh.

But Roy gives smirk as he whallops Darkstar in the face with the punching glove arrow! but then, he sees the FSB starting to surround the place and the Winter Guard having neutralized Crimson Dynamo, Roy is back to back with Red. "Well...maybe vodka might help." but he just puts his bow in rest, lifting his hands up. "Any ideas?"

Smoke bombs?

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
She's covered in cuts and bruises, that death rattle in her chest is likely a broken rib puncturing her lung. Not the first time. When that right armor comes free, well from the shoulder to the tips of her fingers that undersuit had cooked and fused. It peels that skin right out, Ever wondered what cooked human flesh smells like? Now you do. Maybe it's the drugs, maybe she's just tough but she doesn't cry out. Just sucks in a stumbling gasp, boots kicking lamely for a second before she goes slack. Drifting off as, well shock probably?

"God Mikhail, Laynia. I looked, I looked everywhere. I promise I tried, I'm so sorry."She rolls her head back, as the adrenaline dump finally ebbs and....she slumps into a pile.

The Crimson Dynamo, the protector of the prolitariat has fallen.

Red Hood has posed:
"We're going to have to come back later for your girlfriend." Jason rumbles, "On my mark." he states, and then as the FSB agents reach to pull his arms behind him, the bat-symbol on the Red Hood's chest plate glows, before firing off a massive electrical charge that goes through the agents that are surrounding them.

That would be the 'mark'. The smoke bombs are dropped as the Red Hood grabs his grapple gun and fires it into the girders to escape with Arsenal. They will be back. Soon.

Laynia looks over to Mikhail, and then Galina, and she frowns, reaching up to rub her cheek. "...do we.. do we know her, brother?" she asks.

"She is an enemy of the State. She will be returned to stand trial for her crimes." Nikolai starts to respond, when someone steps out of his car. "No." says the Consulant-General as he lights a cigarette. "She remains here. Our men will return her to the Consulate. You will return home."

"But.."

"There are no buts. You have your orders."

Darkstar looks towards the woman on the ground one last time, sadness touching her eyes - but she doesn't know why as they go to recover Titanium Man, and she transports them back to Russia.

"We will need to work fast. Surely the American Press will want answers. And we will give them to them." The Consulate-General glances towards the crumpled Galina. "You will be no hero. But a scapegoat, you shall be." He drops the cigarette and crushes under a fine leather shoe as the FSB guards take up the Russian woman to drag her off.

Arsenal has posed:
"On it."

Just for good measure, as soon as the electric charge is given, Roy also throws some smokebombs on the ground to give them the best smoke coverage, firing a grappling hook arrow into the rafters to make his escape with Red Hood.

Much like Schwarzeneggar, they will be back.

"So, that could've gone better." Roy says as they flee. "and she is so not my girlfriend!" especially since Roy had just gone through a rather intense split. "We'll need some heavy artillery if we want to take on those guys. Thankfully, I have a big quiver. Or you know, we can see if she has a bigger armor somewhere."

Red Hood has posed:
"Called it." Red Hood says dryly. "You can work on that. Those were Sentinels back there. Last thing we need is more of those in the damn city. Let me know what you need, I'll get it together for you." They may have to split up to handle different missions for a bit, but Red's going to have his best friend's back.
