Synopsis: Bart and Barry bond after Zoom gets away
Cast of Characters: Impulse, Flash

Impulse has posed:
Impulse follows Barry back down to the torn up and devistated streets. Luckily nobody got hurt, and the special material of his suit is actually useful in removing dents, and fixing divots the teen keeping a constant patter going. "Really?! Does garlic keep him like, from going all RAWR Christopher Lee on you?" Does Superman talk with a Texas Accent? I hear he grew up on a ranch." he talks and asks when something catches up with his rapidly running mind. "Wait.. how can you technically not be a vampire but are a vampire?"

Flash has posed:
Barry assists with the rescue services, moving wounded to EMTs and clearing the way for police to get in closer to evacuate the more damaged buildings. Anyone left behind in those buildings is moved, it doesn't take long at all with TWO speedsters working in conjunction. Neither does it stop their conversation. They can say a lot in the miliseconds of passing one another as they continue to work up and down the street where the storm laid down the most damage.

"I can't say about the garlic, but I think I'm going to find out just to see him scowl?" Superman with a texas accent? "He's not from Texas... I mean, maybe he is from Texas, every once in a while.. he's pretty fast in his own right." Not FLASH fast, but who is?

"If you ever meet him, you'll understand." Setting down a little girl, Barry kneels down to grin at her, "Hey sweetie, these fellas are going to check you out, okay? I saw you trying to help that man back there.." Thumbing over his shoulder at another older fellow who is being looked over by EMTs, "That was very brave, you're very brave." Image is everything guys. Justice League recruitment poster! Then he's off in a showy crackle of lightning that leaves the girl grinning!

"He just comes in a room and you know that all conversation that even remotely resembles fun is over." Returning directly to the conversation about Batman as if he never stopped at all.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse frumps at that. "I'll see about that! My seventh grade teacher was a grumpy gus, I got her to crack.. well.. She was laughing when they took her away.. Glad it wasn't a /real/ person." he says shaking his head to knock loose the memory. "Bartholomew Henry Allen beeTeeDubbs" he says when the 'jobs done' "So, You're late for work? What's that matter? Doesn't The Police Commissioner kinda make up all the rules?" he says once more showing that his current knowledge is sorely lacking..

Flash has posed:
Barry slides to a halt in front of Bart once they've done the heavy lifting for the emergency services and crosses his arms over his scarlet chest, "I'm pretty sure Batman has far more practice at scowling than your seventh grade teacher, but I don't know how they train educators in the future." He confides with a thoughtful turn of her head and raised brow, "Jeez, I don't even want to imagine Batman trying to teach a group of teenagers about the American Revolution... No, that's not true, I absolutely want to imagine that. Forever... and always."

Despite the heavy emotions he's still feeling, joking about his friends is helping him put things in their proper place. He can't prevent his mother from dying and there's no reason he needs to let the revelation that her killer is a speedster... one he's now seen... ruinin this reunion. Even if it's still on his mind.

"Commissioner, you say... married, with children, police commissioner." Barry chews the inside of his cheek curiously, "Man, you're blowing holes all over the time stream, I just know it. Might want to be careful what you tell people, Bart-" Because there can be only one Barry, "- or we'll be dealing with a lot worse than Evil grandpas tonight." Cursory, mandatory: respect the time flow aside, "Do I age well? No, don't tell me.." Waving both hands.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse grimaces.. "You.. you kinda vanish.. I don't know the details.. During it all Dad and Aunt Dawn wound up in 2989. Dad Met mom, and a couple of years later Baby Bart was born.. This is.. " he coughs.. "I'd never met you before today, just heard stories, and saw some holovids from the archives.. " he explains the last bit mumbled a bit bashfully..

Flash has posed:
"Kinda Vanish." Barry frowns at this bit of detail, "Well that sounds omenous." It's not the first time he'd heard about his mysterious disappearance, but it doesn't get any easier to know the more often he hears it. "Well then it's good to meet you." He extends a hand to his eventual grandson who is not yet born or even a consideration because he hasn't even met the mother of Bart's father yet. Or maybe he has and doesn't know it. Time travel is a buzz kill sometimes... "So, how do we get you back home?"

Not that it's not great having discendents looming around in the past, "I feel like you being here is going to become problematic for everyone involved and while it'll be great having you around... I'd really rather not create another paradox. Last time? Major bummer..."

Impulse has posed:
Impulse nods "oh, well that's easy We just need to head to the local...Hey, I didn't know you could move fast enough to make two of you.. that's neat I wonder if I can.." Bart starts to say something his voice becoming more slurred before like a switch was thrown, the lights go out the last of Barts reserves giving out as he faints into a pile right there infront of The Flash..

Flash has posed:
Flash glances around them, up and down the street, and then pointedly to Bart, "We should get back to Central City. I'm going to stay and give a report to the police, but if you head to..." he jots down an address and hands it to Impulse, "Thats my apartment. Phase in and I'll be back in a few minutes... gotta stop by the precinct and check in, catalog some evidence, and then I should be free for the rest of the day to discuss the past and future respectively... more past than futur- nevermind." He lays one hand on Bart's shoulder, then ushers him in the appropriate direction, "Scoot, I'll be there in teeeeeeeeeeeeen- Hey, whoa.." Barry is there in a flash of to catch the falling younger speedster. "Man, you need to carry an energy bar.." So much to teach.

Barry gathers up his grandkid and disappears in a woosh of crackling yellows and orange light, laying Bart down on the couch in his apartment a few breaths later. A hastily scribbled note is taped to the teenagers forehead for when he wakes up-

~ Hey kid, had to go give a report to the police, pizza in the fridge, sodas in the cubboard, candy in the drawer beside the stove, don't touch the hostess roll ups, those are mine.
Seeya in a flash,
Flash

Then returns to New York to give a report of what happened. At least as much as he's able to recount, understand, and feels comfortable sharing.
