Mister Fantastic has posed:
The Baxter building stands seventy one floors up a shiney becan to the people around to know that the Fantastic Four are there and ready. But to get to the top one must start from the bottom or at least ground floor as technically it did go on for a bit down as well. The building from the outside on the bottom floor looks pretty normal, though once one walks into the reception they would be welcomed with a large room with waiting areas to each side, and a desk infront of them.

The name of the game inside of this area must of been nature, beause each room is wood sided, but each area has its own type of wood though the important one being the one right infront of whoever may walk in. In the small area infront of them sits a desk with what looks to be a normal looking lady with blonde hair, blue eyes, some might even say she looks a little bit like Sue. She doesn't move at all being perfectly still she sits there until someone walks in at which time she would look up her motions too perfect followed by a "Welcome to Baxter Building, how.. may I help you?". The voice is a smooth voice that seemed to match the face, but she would again fall to silence after asking.

Behind her a ways sitting by he elevators is another person, an old man that sits reading a book. He doesn't look up just sits by the elevator reading 'Gone With the Wind' though he doesn't look too into it. Other then that there is no-one else on this floor though it looks like the drinks, and treats, are self serve so if ya wished for one you could just walk over and take it. If one takes one while it might be okay.. the things that perish after a day or two are starting to look a litle ripe. Everything else is fine, and clean so there has been activity, but one might be warned before they just chow down indiscriminately.

Melinda May has posed:
Having received a request to meet from Dr. Richards, May cleared her schedule, tapped two agents with appropriate security levels to accompany her, and headed for the Baxter. When they arrive, she looks the lobby over in the habitual manner of someone who's seen far too much battle for one lifetime.

When the blonde woman speaks up, she focuses on her with slightly narrowed eyes before offering, "I have been asked to speak with Dr. Reed Richards." She keeps watching the woman closely, visually calculating if and how frequently she is breathing. She's THIS close to gesturing to the two other agents to be ready.

Grant Ward has posed:
All business. He always is. That's Grant Ward, black suit and tie and an expression that seems to be a shade shy of warm and fuzzy on his face. Standing behind May, allowing her obviously to do the talking, the Agent removes his sunglasses and tucke them in his jacket pocket, looking about the lobby with a raised brow. The woman behind the counter is given a casual glance, but his eyes linger a little bit longer on the elderly man by the elevator. His posture straight, his hands go to fold in front of him.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint hangs by May's right side as they walk into the building, looking more tourist than agent with his blue jeans, t-shirt and racing bike jacket ensamble. Though anyone who was familiar with the Avengers would clock him as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye.

As they cross the lobby, like May, Clint scans the room keeping his eyes moving. "Sent a message to Skye as well, if it's fine by you, boss," that being May. "She might join us when she's finished working on that project of hers," he says before they reach the desk.

When May focuses in on the woman, Clint's eyes go back to roaming keeping an eye out for anything else out of the ordinary.

Melinda May has posed:
She's not real. That's what May twigs on when the blonde woman replies again, but then the old man by the elevators speaks up. He receives a similar scrutiny, but May is willing to accept his words (for now) since she's got two other agents there. Speaking of, she nods her acceptance to Barton's words and tells him as they start toward the elevators, "I don't know that we'll be here that long."

Elevator rides are invariably interminable, boring, and nerve-wracking for anyone that dislikes not being in control of their surroundings and situation. May has learned to hide her reactions, so when she steps out ahead of Ward and Barton, she seems as calm and collected as ever as she steps onto the 71st floor proper and walks toward the most likely place for Richards' lab to be housed.

Mister Fantastic has posed:
The lady comes to life again, and waves a hand back to the elevator. "Of course you are Miss May, please head to the... elevators" showing you the elevators in the back. If ya are hesitant which one in your field might be the old man speaks up, "Oh don't mind her.. It was one of Doc's creations she is a bit shy, but he just didn't have the heart to shut her down." the man speaks slowly like he has said this multiple times. He gives a bit of a smile with a chuckle, sitting back down till you head over. "I have heard her talk with the post office worker Doc does good work I think she is just intimitated by ya is all being all solid and all." shaking he head with a small smile.

When one heads to the elevator he would point to the button. "Just hit that one there to go up... he would be on the 71st floor always is." and laughs at his own joke, though he stops, "If you are expecting more I can give them the same instructions. This is my job after all.. been my job for well fifty years." though thankfully stops himself before he goes on a longer rant.

The place around you seems normal, and if you wait long enough nothing pops out as abnormal just well automated. If you wait long enough you can swear from the corner of your eye you can see the lady at the desk file her nails though when you look she is sitting normal. Everyone that took the time to look at her would realize she was not solid like the old man said earlier just a projection that was following instructions.

Grant Ward has posed:
A man of few words unless needed. Ward follows May and Clint onto the elevator. His attention is straight ahead again, not choosing to speak just yet, but the ride is a bit long and boring. His eyes drift to the roof of the elvator, examining it for potential ways in and out. It is what these agents do. When it stops, Agent Ward follows May off the elevator, taking his position behind her and beside clint as they make their way into what is supposedly the office of Reed Richards.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint nods to May, "Sure," he says to her reply. "Why are we here anyhow?" he asks her, his summons had been light on details.

All the same he keeps up his guard as he makes his way towards Reed's office. The holograms and automation earn a snort, "Anyone else get Tomorrow Land vibes from this place?" he asks May and Ward, not really expecting a reply, after all it was May and Ward.

Mister Fantastic has posed:
As everyone heads towards the elevators, the smiling fake lady actually watches then the old man pushes the open for them so they can enter. It seems reinforced to hold lots of weight the elevator seems actually pretty nice metal unlike the rest of the place so far. As the doors start to shut the smiling lady for a moment flickers to a frowning one turning to face away though it is too late to stop the doors. The last thing one might hear is a muffled old man say, "Well that's strange.." as the elevator goes up.

And up, and up, seventy floors at elevator spends a while getting up to the destination, but if you look out the back after it past the brick a view of the outside shows the other buildings getting smaller as the elevator rises. It is rather uneventful really as nothing jumps out attacks, or otherwise does anything that is until you finally reach the top. The ride is interupted with a 'ding' as the doors open.

The room is large as big as the bottom floor though all open. To one side is a large telescope, as it seems just like a huge lab with desks, and beakers, though none are one of course, with Reed sitting further into the room at his desk. He doesn't turn though as he seems entrenched into working with something in his hands though his back is facing you so ya can't really see what it is, "Darn it work!" he mumbles to himself not seeming to hear the ding?

Melinda May has posed:
Stepping into the lab proper, May again scopes out the room for about a second before focusing on Dr. Richards himself. She gives him a solid three seconds to notice there's someone else in the room, then watchign to make sure he's not reaching into something potentially dangerous when she finally speaks up.

"Dr. Richards."

Grant Ward has posed:
This is Melinda's meeting to run. Thus, when Ward enters the lab, he chooses to stay by one side of the door, actually moving to put his sunglasses back on. His right hand slips to the inside of his coat ever so slightly, but not so much as to cause much of any alarm. There is a soft mutter to Clint about his tomorrow land referfence. "I threw up once on It's a Small World." Stated deadpan and without the slightest hint of any expression.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint smirks as he enters the lab taking a position opposite to Ward by the door, "The motion or the singing?" he asks.

The lab is given a once over, before Clint's eyes settle on whatever Reed is working on, from past experience with Tony, he knows watch the experiment not the scientist, if you want to know when to run.

Mister Fantastic has posed:
Everything is fine as they walk out, give their quips, or there greetings to Reed nothing seems out of place. That is until the last person walks out, and a couple things happen. First the doors behind you slam shut sealing together as the lighting takes a red tint. There is a calm "intruder alert." repeated over, and over so at least that may get that song out of your head if nothing else. From across the room Reed mumbles, "Confound it!" almost seeming unrelated as he moves slightly turning. This direction you can see the small red beams of light shining at him though his eyes are closed he doesn't seem to be talking to you at all.

And around the same a small devices slowly raises from the floor around you looking like a metal ball on the end of a metal pole. It wouldn't take long though one might realize the problem though by the time one did it was too late, as the ball was a trap being as soon as you look at it the light is shined into your eyes just like Reed is now. As soon as that happends it is too late as even closing ones eyes would not stop what is coming as Reed had made very sure once it cought someone it would not let them go until he came to do so.

Once the beams hit the eyes one would feel locked in place for a moment as the brightness cuts out their vision only to return them to a small platform in a lush forest. The entire scene around them changes as they are pulled into the virtual world that Reed had integrated into his defense network for the building. He would catch would be theives by putting them into a virtual reality or at least that was the idea though of course they were invited they had for some reason still triggered the self-defense.

The world they were now in was standing on a 20 foot wide disk in the middle of a large forest, looking up and out one can see maybe just a few miles away large buildings in the background. They don't look like normal buildings, well at least on Earth, if they knew what they looked like there would be multiple different space faring races all around them. Kree to the north, Skrull to the south, Shi'ar, and Triceratons on either side it is as if someone took all those ideas and pushed them together in one big VR sandbox.

There was only one other peson around them a woman that they had seen before, she looked just like the one at the front desk, she turns and looks at you when you arrive.. "Welcome to the VR trap.. You are intruders, and will be held until Doctor Reeds arives.. You may choose an area to entertain yourselves till he arives." the voice is calm, just explaining the situation in a mater of fact way.
