Sentinels: Origins
Date of Scene: 15 June 2019
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: SHIELD agents assault a Russian facility; it's mostly boom, less sneak, and the situation gets very tense very quickly....
Cast of Characters: Iron Man, Melinda May, Quake, Darcy Lewis, Spider-Woman (Drew), Crimson Dynamo, Winter Soldier
Tinyplot: Sentinels

Iron Man has posed:
It's 5am in Moscow. The facility is out in the middle of nowhere, but the time zone, that matches. The weather is cool, it's partially cloudy, without signs of rain.

The facility itself is a hive of activity, even at this hour. Sentinels move around the exterior, their long, slow steps causing impact tremors for a long distance away. Occasionally a group of half a dozen will go into flight, being deployed here or there between the different locations. Even from the air, the Sentinels are very apparent. Impossible to miss them. They're hard to count: there's a lot of them. Most are the huge, towering 30' ones, but other smaller robots are around here and there. Overall, the facility is a little terrifying.

Yet SHIELD has information about it. There are two huge buildings where Sentinels are pretty clearly being manufactured. Parts go in, Sentinels come out of them. Makes sense.

In the center, is a highly secured building that leads underground. Labs are suspected to be down there, testing facilities, and so forth. New techology for the Sentinels, maybe. The scientists must live down there. It's a big place, presumably, but the exterior is just about the size of a town.

Human visitors do come and go: Mr. Trask was seen at the site a few months previous, but not since that time. Other visitors as well, even mercenary groups, though it has been more limited, lately. The facility is all fenced, and patrols are pretty constant. It might take the best of the best to get inside without setting off all of the horrors of the security.

Hopefully SHIELD sent their best.

Melinda May has posed:
The Bus isn't actually the most stealthy of SHIELD's jets, but she can get everyone and their equipment there and back again. While they were making the flight over, May laid out the assignments.

"Drew, Nemirovsky. You'll be positioned at the base perimeter. If things go pear-shaped, I expect you to make as much of this place as you can into a crater. Skye, you and I are getting in, getting the intel we need, and getting out again. Lewis, you'll be on comms. Use the system here to track the Sentinels and if a fight breaks out you're eyes for these two." She indicates Jessica and Galina. "Call out patterns, tell them where to hit." Yes, she's fully expecting the woman's derby experience to come into play here.

"If we're lucky, three of you are going to be bored. If we're not, you're going to wish you were." One of the control panel pings and she glances at it. "Reaching target location in five," she says, then turns and heads for the cockpit to land the bird, or maybe to talk Skye through the landing.

Quake has posed:
Co-piloting was a bit of a surprise. Especially when it was the bus and not a quinjet - when it had first been declared she was sitting second, Skye had been prepared... until that. Then again, was she going to argue with May? No. And really, just how different could it be? Other than, you know, size, and about a billion more controls? Still, some of the things were familiar, and others, once pointed out, suddenly made more sense.

"Gotcha. Get in. Get out. Everyone else is decoy for data retrieval team."

Geeze where'd she hear that playbook before? Oh yeah, that was the Zola plan, only with more retrieval and less take his systems down. Still...

Skye settled down to help pilot - or pilot - the bus in for a landing at the designated site.]

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Always enjoy being bored on these sorts of things, Momma," Darcy quips from her station at the comms. She looks pretty well healed up. The pills Skye gave her were miracle drugs, and when Darcy realized she was right as rain again she yelled out "I GREW A NEW KIDNEY! DOCTOR GAVE ME PILLS AND I GREW A NEW KIDNEY!" Now, she sits with a one-ear headset on her head, the mic near her mouth humming the Star Trek theme song... the OG 1960s theme song. (https://youtu.be/EWSp5ijOOfk) ...and she's stucking on a lollipop. She may or may not have pinched it from the kitchen on her way out, as a prize for being a good patient while she was in medical.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
The perimeter. Jessica nods slightly at her orders, and looks around at the others, but remains silent. Her face is still gaunt. Haunted. She looks like she hasn't slept in days, but that isn't keeping her from being sharp. Resilience and stamina are a thing. Even in times when her entire world is crumbling. "We need this intel. Desperately. HE needs this intel. Wherever he is. Whatever we can discover is going to help us in the end. Please...please be thorough." And with that, Jessica turns her face back down, her gaze falling on her hands in her lap.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
<<Dynamo engine start one minute, be aware of possible electromagnetic anomoly during initial power up.>>Galina over the coms, as cool as a cucumber. Nevermind the spectre of being back in Russia, of being a big gun here, or fighting as a team for the first time since the Winter Guard went down in a blaze of glory. She stands before her armor, pausing to jack that autosyringe into a port on her underarmor. Shoulders slump and for a moment she wavers, a comfortable flood of delicious combat chemicals. <<Dynamo, suiting up.>>

Calmly she touches the armor's elbow, and with a groaning clatter of overworked electric motors the armor splits and in she goes. Vanishing into a familar darkness, waiting for the familar tingle of several thousand volts passing through her mechanical arm like a key. Jet engine whining, Venkos thrumming and then with a cough and a sputter it comes to life. <<Green across the board, primary servo safeties online, gyros online, sensor feed is up, Radios up, encryption mode C, IFF mode three check. Primary, secondary, tertiary weapon systems online.>>And a pause as the hulk of brilliant Ruby red armor sits upright, the single blazing red eye behind that slotted helm flaring to life.

RPG chains clattering, as the Dynamo gets to it's feet. Electricity darts across the dynamo's ERA, dancing across the layer upon layer of exotic russian metalurgy. <<Crimson Dynamo online, safeties disenguaged.>>It half turns glancing back to sweep it's mechanical gaze across the rest of the cargo bay, before snagging that cut down autocannon turned into something aproximating a dynamo sized assault rifle. <<Remember to stay away from me, I will potentially be running suit near full military power. No closer than fifty feet.>>

Iron Man has posed:
"Hey everyone. If you need anything from me, well. I'll consider it on a case by case basis," Tony Stark's voice says, probably out of nowhere (aka, ship communications). Turns out when you get one Avenger involved, the Iron one isn't keeping his nose out of their business. Then again, the mission was suggested by him. Regardless? Stark's being himself. His tone grows more serious as he adds in, "I'll be ready to pick up whatever you find; it could help us find our rogue Sentinel. In info more useful to you, I've made some noise at the south facility to draw some eyes off of you. Use it well."

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any real movement from the Sentinels in the facility. That does mean that no cavalry of robots has come to try to blast the SHIELD craft: at least, not yet. But it also means no group is sent elsewhere. At least, not yet.

From the ground, the Winter Soldier has more useful information. The roving patrols of Sentinels include a lot of scanning, but few human eyes. With the technology brought by Jessica from the Avengers, they might be able to walk right under a Sentinel's nose without being seen at all.

Winter Soldier has posed:
God, it's like being forced to visit relatives you don't like. This whole thing has had Buck reverting to that prisoner's deadpan, about as expressive as a cinder block. Somehow, he was the first one down, there before the big SHIELD craft arrived, ghosting along the outskirts and literally scoping the place out, uploading info through an encrypted link.

For the moment, he's taken up station opposite where Gal and Jessica expect to draw attention - the better to either cause more trouble and distraction and pull Sentinel attention away even further, or to deal damage from a distance, if need be. He's brought a whole bag of tricks, from a high-powered rifle to explosives.

Melinda May has posed:
May has her hands on the Bus's controls the same as Skye, but she's not actually doing any of the controlling, just talking the younger agent through it. Then they're landed. It's not the soft-as-a-feather landing May is capable of with this giant bird, but it was entirely acceptable. (It helps that even with the increased complexity, all of the basic controls are in the same places as on the quinjet. Intentional, perhaps?)

Leading Skye back to the others, she looks at each of them. "Let's move. I want to be out and gone before the sun clears the trees. Comms check, Lewis. Sarge, check in."

She refuses to call him the Winter Soldier, or any variation thereof.

Quake has posed:
Fine. There was a bump. Okay, two. But really, for a first landing of the bus? Skye did damn fine. AT least she's proud of herself.

There's only time for a few seconds of self congratulation though before it's back to all business, all the time, Skye checking that she's geared up and ready for her part in this mission. She's seen the specs, such as they had, and is prepared for the possibility of them being nothing more than a bunch of bullshit. All she needs is an access terminal and a place to plug in a USB stick.

A curt nod for May. "Gotcha."

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica is up like a shot. Already prepared. Sun will be up shortly. She's in the crimson gradient version of her suit - although the spider and webbing are no longer a gleaming gold, but indeed a black with the same color value as the darker top of her suit. She slides her mask into place - her dark hair frenchbraided and tucked under to keep her profile sleek and keep it out of her way. "Comm's fine," she says, giving a thumbs-up. She has all she needs on her belt. And she's ready to get this behind her.

Iron Man has posed:
Two Sentinels, on a sweeping pass, start to head directly in the direction of the group. It isn't unusual: it is one of the random sweeps that periodically happen around the perimeter, it's just unlucky, perhaps. Both of the Sentinels slow a little bit, focusing; perhaps the impact of the plane drew their attention. It's hard to know for sure, but they are coming over to study the spot.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
The Crimson dynamo takes one step on Russian soil, and then almost reluctantly another. Pausing for a moment to savor it, before sweeping that hyperspectral eye towards the facility to try and get a rough count on however many sentinels are around. Not that she waits, mind. No that autocannon autococks, slamming a twenty five millimeter shell home and off she goes.

<<Dynamo, enemy front.>>Venkos coming up to temperature just in time, as she hoists that autocannon at the hip and slides to a hault. Twenty five millimeter Autocannon loosing a stream of a mixture of HE AP in a single fifty round burn that leaves the cannon smoldering. <<Enguaged!>>As if she needed to call it out.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
Darcy grins up at May, stick jutting out from between red lips. With a smack, she draws the candy out, licks off the sugar and gives a salute, badly, with the lollipop hand. The confection goes right back in her mouth, other hand reaching down to scritch a beautiful German Shepard on the head. Darcy may have spoiled the puppy she brought along, since by her chair there's a new doggy bed, a large bone, a teddy bear with a red bow around his neck, and a Captain America plushie ( a really bag, crane game Captain America plushie). There's a weighted bowl of kibble and water for her as well, and a small bag of Beggin Strips on the console near at hand.

"All points, check in," Lewis says over the coms, voice serious despite the earlier quip. Pupper petted, she's typing on the system, eyes flicking across the screens as she's watching things.

"I've got two contacts heading our dire- Never mind. Noisy-ass's engaged, obviously," she quips when the explosions and Galina's confirmation cut in.

Melinda May has posed:
May hands out the tech devices that Tony promised them would make them essentially invisible to the Sentinels, having already explained how they work, and the moment she sees the Sentinel patrol approaching, she activates her device, holding it one hand while holding a taser-ended baton in the other.

She's not entirely surprised by Galina taking the initiative to distract, but that does mean that their infiltration and data extraction time table has become VERY tight. "We need to move, Skye. Fast." So it's time to get that scanner thing going and RUN. She lets Skye pick their target building, as pulling the data is her job. May's along to watch the hacker's six.

Quake has posed:
Skye doesn't need urging to make her way, and quickly. She knows what building, and based on their intel, and heat signatures, etc, she's a decent idea of where they're heading inside. Of course she and May have to make it to that building first, and then down into the bowels of it!

Thank goodness for Tony's loan of tech... Skye absently wondering if he'd notice if one didn't make it home..

Winter Soldier has posed:
There's the sound of someone whistling tunelessly over the comms, an expression of cheerful incredulity. Apparently the light show and one man band that is Galina in action meets with Barnes's approval. Then he's making his own little contribution to the fesitivities - there's the hiss of an RPG round in flight, aimed at one of the Sentinels already turning towards the Dynamo.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica takes takes the device and clips it onto her belt, making sure it's activated, and then she's feet on the ground, making for her position with speed and precision. She watches as a huge Sentinel lumbers past, her heart sinking into her stomach.

"Drew in position. All's safe here at the moment, just keep those devices engaged. They aren't usually looking for anything but mutants elsewhere, but something tells me they're on the lookout for guys like us around these parts."

Iron Man has posed:
Galina has went ahead and made a giant obvious target of herself. If she expected to kick the hive, she's done it. The two arriving sentinels sweep directly over May, Skye, the people on the ground, and orient entirely on Galina.

That also means alarms begin to blare heavily inside the facility. They are deep, brassy sounds, as if heavy weights were being pounded into cement inside both east and west buildings. It is a terrible war drum of impact of metal on metal.

The first sentinel, though, gets very shredded by the surprise attack by Galina. Entirely the left arm and most of that leg are done for, but it orients, and releases a surprisingly powerful burst from the other hand, willing to fight fearlessly and without mercy, as a robot.

"INTRUDER SIGHTED, IDENTIFIED," begins the other Sentinel, when Winter Soldier puts a RPG round into the back of it's head, and it stumbles forwards.

The Sentinels are huge, and powerful, but slow. Taking a blast from them would be very unfortunate, even for the armored people, but they aren't all that difficult to dodge, when staying alertly on the move.

Still, if more are coming, and there's nowhere to dodge .....

The running group reach the fence, in time for three sentinels to come walking out of the East building, their weapons in hands already aglow. Presumably, West is also releasing Sentinels.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Alarms raised. I'm showing three new bings from East Side. Movement on West Side. Too far to confirm numbers," Darcy's voice cuts on the coms, making sure to try to keep up with everything.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
That blast aimed her way goes wide, the Dynamo's still just idling along for the moment. Pivoting to continue the carnage with that bushmaster, dumping another fifty rounds as she slowly makes her approach. Bushmaster emptied, she glances towards the action before casually hurling it towards the facility walls. One arm lifting as the minigun slung along the forearm spins up, sending a firehose of hate downrange at the next closest sentinel before advancing further.

She's trying to work herself towards some higher ground, where she'll have better fields of fire but in the mean time? She bumps the venkos up to fifty percent, enough to start cascade charging the capacitors and spool the massive 30mm minigun on her shoulder. The brilliant crimson suit all but glows visibly, churning out waves of heat and no small amount of EMF. Enough to start washing out low power wireless signals for miles, to skew compasses as far as red square. She flips on the loudspeakers all the same, as if she wasnt loud enough otherwise. Speaking in her trademark low class russian "Come on, come get me! This is Moscow, this is my town! Lets fight!"

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica stands stock still, at the point where she was originally ordered to go. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that all orders are out the window now, since we were asked to guard and only crater the place if things went badly..." Jess asks into her comm. "I mean...the place is going into lockdown, when we could have just slipped inside and gotten what we needed. Drew, awaiting new orders."

Melinda May has posed:
May reaches the first wall between them and the target building, and without slowing down scales it and lands on the other side lightly. Keep up, Skye. She looks around to see if anyone has placed them yet, baton still in her hand to bash anyone or anything that comes at them. The large Sentinels are all heading to give Galina some exercise, so she's not expecting any serious opposition.

"Distraction's definitely working," she says into the comms. "Drew, see if you can make a clear extraction path. We might have have to move in a hurry." She also makes a mental note to next time drop Galina a bit further out and off to the side of their transport, so she can kick up a fuss and pull people/things away from the rest of them.

Quake has posed:
Keep up, she says. Skye thinks bad words inwardly - bad words she wouldn't sass at May anyway, so that's just status quo, Skye hustling her butt to that wall, and up and over, Skye silently thanking gods she doesn't believe in that she actually not only did, but kept up with the physical training portions of her training. Because DAMN they just became necessary.

All she and May have to do is get inside and lay low. And once over the wall, Skye makes for the nearest entrance, hoping that Tony's borrowed shield are stillo scrambling their presence so that she and May can actually manage to do their portion of the job.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Be careful with the ones west of your position, May. Drew, you'll want to angle those guys 150 meters off to the bus's right. Takes them further from Buck and Gal, but if you don't, they'll march RIGHT over May and Skye's egress," Darcy cuts through quickly, fast on the heels of May's orders to Drew.

Iron Man has posed:
On the other side of that building, as May and Skye advance, a team of darkly armored men were hustling, in a narrow, stealthy column tight to that next building's side, headed to provide backup. Suddenly, though, Skye and May are directly among them; May will, indeed, find friends right THERE, and she can bash the first guy with her baton without even slowing. The men are trained, and respond alertly, but surprise may be on the side of May, having led the way. The front of the six men start to turn, and the back fan from the wall, as they don't want to shoot their own people as they intend to make short work of Skye and May.

Darcy's count of Sentinels is about to skyrocket; the mission's hope at stealth, if there ever was one, ended with the Dynamo decided to blow holes in the patrolling sentinel pair. They start to deploy more quickly, and the ones that were en route above start to come down. They're well organized; a dozen, at least, are now coming down on the opposite side away from the facility, starting to attempt to surround Dynamo before they advance, would be a good guess. She wanted a fight, direct in the face? She'll have one. Three smaller Sentinels can now be spotted by Darcy from that west deployment; they're about half the size of the huge ones, but quicker, and immediately look like they're more advanced in style.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Now it's more about speed than stealth, it seems, though somehow he can't find it in his heart to really be annoyed about the Dynamo playing tank. Buck's reverted to fire and move, fire and move. It's not exactly plinking when you're using rockets, but it feels like it, when compared to the amount of damage the Dynamo's doing.

There's a stream of faint, obscene Russian over the link. Buck's in work mode, and while the God of Mischief may have yanked his construct personality and command structure out by its roots, there's enough of the Soldier left in his mental architecture that he doesn't even seem to notice what he's saying.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
A half turn, before that jet engine lights and the Dynamo gives a kick off before taking flight. It's just a short hop, a ballistic trajectory to drag the fight further away from the facility before she comes down in a cloud of concrete dust. One arm swinging wide to enguage another sentinel with a stream of gatling gun fire, as the other finally swings up to start spewing fourty millimeter armor penetrating grenades with uncanny mechanical accuracy. That single mechanical eye swiveling around to line up another six targets, before the left shoulder erupts in a cloud of smoke. Six hellfire missiles streaking skyward, before veering down towards their targets.

Missiles spent, right gatling spent the weapons erupt in a flash as the explosive bolts trigger and send them tumbling to the ground in a heap. That big thirty millimeter rotary cannon over the right shoulder slowly sliding upwards as it begins spinning, before swinging down to lock into position. <<Bucky, I need target paint. Que them up with the laser I'm about to go coms dark here.>>

Quake has posed:
They'd not precisely expected to run into a cadre of living breathing beings - the whole point of stealthy and quiet had been to avoid that, but now that they're up against the wall..

Actually, there's a thought. Skye turning, making sure she's between the attackers and May, a slight quirk of lips as she holds her hands out, facing the men who are now upon herself and May, and using a concussive blast, sends them hurtling into the wall she and May had just scaled, hopefully with enough force to knock them out. Or, at least disoreint them.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica is still invisible to the sentinels. But there are enough parts about to make some noise. Away from her post. She moves stealthily among the remaining who patrol, and picks up giant chunks of sentinels, hurling them back closer to the fray, where they create a cacophony of sound when they crash into storage units, and other chunks left behind in the fray. She hopes it's enough to draw the attention of those nearby away from the exit she's been guarding. To clear a path, as she's been asked.

Iron Man has posed:
Something rather new emerges from the west building, following the three. A huge range of sentinels are on display: it's like a parade. Two new somethings: one follows the other. They are human in size, and partially dressed (mostly their lower bodies, plus some rigging across the weird, indented torsos), but they have the sheen of technology and cyborg tech to them. Some kind of machine-melded Sentinel-like creations. Still, they act Sentinel enough. They join a large Sentinel group of four coming out of the west building, using the larger ones as physical shields, as they advance into the fight. They follow a Sentinel towards Winter Soldier's zone, staying out of his line of sight as much as they are able, and begin to open fire with small volleys here and there, providing a lot of confusion and cover for the large counterparts. They're going to try to get close, and they're cleverly using their own units to stay out of easy targeting. So much crap and shrapnel is falling down anyway, it's a huge mess.

Jessica's flung objects flushes out a second group of six guards, just like the ones May and Skye dealt with, forcing them to dodge out sideways into clear view. They are, it appears, the main obstacle between Skye and May and the general path to the middle building, through a parking lot of rather expensive looking cars.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"What? Dyno? Don't you fuckin' dare!" Darcy growls into her mic, leaning forward at the west side 'jets' show themselves to be a lot smaller and moving a lot faster than the others. Of course the sheer numbers have her drawing a breath.

"Fuck. You've got a dozen coming in on your six, moving to surround. Dyno! Do you copy that?!" Not sure and not wanting to wait, Darcy switches gears.

"Buck, she's got twelve, coming hot. Confirm," Darcy says as she scans the battle field.

"Drew, we've got three from West. Small and fast. They're reading different on my systems. It's like... Oh, shit. May, Skye, get your shit and get out. Robots are on parade, west side. Two of them are borg," she adds as she zooms in one of the security feeds to get a closer look, only to shudder visibly in her chair.

"They're converging on your position, Buck," she warns.

Winter Soldier has posed:
"Roger that. Better make it quick, devochka, it's heating up around here." A last rocket, then he's painting targets with the scope on the rifle he's brought. "You may need to bug out, at this rate."

Somehow his grin is audible. "Yeah?" Is that anticipation in his voice. "I resemble that remark."

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica hops to one side, firing off webbing toward the guards who are flushed out, and across their path. Those who don't trip are webbed to one another. Those who do trip are webbed to the ground. Those who neither trip nor are webbed begin opening fire in Jessica's direction, and she finds cover along her path behind sentinel parts, storage sheds, and a fallen sentinel, as well. Dodging gunfire, she leaps to the top of a shed soundlessly and crisscrosses her webbing to net a cluster of guards who are still looking for her.

Melinda May has posed:
Having been ready to give as many of those guys a beatdown as she could, Skye's quick and efficient handling of them goes neither unremarked nor unappreciated. "Nice." And then, they need to keep moving. The clock is ticking on Galina's little mosh party out there.

And then Darcy says something about robots on parade and Borg. "Skye, inside. Now." So they bolt for it.

"We kicked the anthill. Might need to let it calm down. Crimson, Sarge, Drew, get back to the Bus, get her in the air. Make it look like they've successfully chased you off. We'll signal when we're ready to extract."

Now THIS is a gamble, but a necessary one.

Iron Man has posed:
The entry to the center building, on the side Skye and May attempt access is, of course, locked. Close examination makes it appear as tough as a bunker: there must be some extreme things inside, or someone is very paranoid. Very locked. It's high tech, with a scanner and similar access requirements. It's in lockdown mode, which means it will take some considerable skill to coax it to activate. It doesn't seem like anyone is going in or out of the center building: all movement is from the east and west facilities.

A bit later, a sentinel glides low over the parking area, scanning: and ignoring Skye, May, and Jessica, as if it doesn't see them. One of the men that was tripped tries to talk into his communicator, to explain in Russian that the intruders seem to be invisible to their guards, while he stares at Jessica's position. Yes, he's stuck to one of the cars. It's uncomfortable.

Quake has posed:
Skye had opened cereal boxes that had given her more grief than this..

The young woman smirking as May tells the bus to make it's exit. "Was about to say.." she murmurs. "I can hear them coming. Will be better once inside. Less outside noises." She makes as quick of work as possible with the lock, because nobody wants to be outside when those sentinels discover someone unauthorized is letting themselves in.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica dutifully runs for the plane, and leaves the guards webbed in a mass of...webbed guards. She boards, and awaits further orders.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Are you fucking crazy?" Darcy shouts at May on the coms. Because she can and May can't smack on the head for it right now. Yet, even as she's complaining, she's searching the scanner's readouts and the visuals. She bites her lips and then, looks over at the other terminal.

I wonder...

She slides her chair over and kicks it on, locating hte SEARCH function and typing in 'hack enemy communication', then looks back at the visuals, spotting Drew on her way back.

"May, Imma try'n eavesdrop their comms," she says, because... maybe she or Skey can give her a clue how other than hoping this thing's got an app for that she can use.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
The Dynamo throws a few grenades casually after the Sentinels behind, before well dumping the grenade launcher entirely. The big suit kicks out divots in the pavement almost casually, before leaning down to sink it's massive armored gauntlets through the pavement. Venkos surging, as that jet engine begins to scream before lighting the afterburner. That massive rotarry cannon swings about, following Bucky's laser designator as it lights up. Russia's Answer to the A-10's cannon, the GSH-6-30 everybody.

The recoil shatters glass windows almost half a mile away, the cloud of smoke and dust it generates likely qualifies as it's own smokescreen. Fourty five seconds to loose all 3500 rounds, nearly half the hulking Dynamo's weight when this thing started. Pounds of depleted uranium and explosive sent downrange, exactly where Bucky guides it in a single unyeilding stream of raw mechanical violence.

Cannon emptied, it's mounts shear under explosive bolts and go tumbling away as the Dynamo surges fourth like a heavy weight sprinter. Clearing a bit of the smoke as it rises from the chaos, only to come down at wherever the largest group of remaining sentinels remain. Venkos screaming, gauntlets glowing brilliant chernkov blue as the Dynamo firewalls the throttles. Huge arcs of electricity, hundreds of megawats surging fourth as that right gauntlet cocks back for a swing on anything the proximity doesn't roast by itself.

The Crimson Dynamo ladies and gents, the suit is not red for subtlety.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Now there's a hint of impatience in Buck's voice, as he confirms May's orders. He's moving again, heading for the Bus at that absurd bulldog hustle, not lingering to exchange more tender endearments with the oncoming crew.

He's only one supersoldier, after all, and the approaching robot rodeo requires more ammo than he can carry, even on his relatively bulked-up person. There's the clatter of his boots on the ramp, and confirmation call on the link, once he's aboard.

Melinda May has posed:
While Skye jimmies the lock to get them inside, May says into the comms quietly but with the forcefulness of a command that is NOT to be ignored. She's either never known that that armor causes comms death, or she's forgotten.

"Crimson. Retreat to the Bus. That's an order. Lewis, good idea but we're still going in and then we're going silent. Don't argue. Sarge, I need you to get the Bus to altitude." She knows there's a ceiling that Sentinels can't cross and the Bus can. It's their best shot and getting clear.

"We'll ping when we're ready for extraction."

Iron Man has posed:
OR.... Darcy's attempt to search could be noticed by the person that they'd maybe forgotten was with them. A loud blast of Queen's 'WE WILL ROCK YOU' drums slams loudly through the bus's communications.

Tony's helping. Actually, he is: "I've got you, agent; we've got the Sentinel communication breakdown from Sebastion. Small gifts. Uploading, should give you plenty to stare at, they're excessive." The music continues to play. As if Tony's communication was never excessive.

Darcy does have access, after the transfer, to watch a web of insanity: more insane than what Jessica flung around. The whole of the base has two major command spots: East and West both have something in each spot that are issuing huge amounts of orders. There are reception points all over; the number of sentinels is beyond alarming, and only a small amount of them were deployed to the site. Maybe they aren't so concerned?

A lot of the command sequences are aimed around the cyborgs now present on the field: not protecting them, exactly, but giving them clear backup. They are heavy weapons, and expected to rip Galina in half, if they get in range. Their range is terrible, but close? They'll melt her. Doesn't matter what she's made of, if she lets them close.

Even so, one of the cyborgs has still attempted to trace where Winter Soldier is, dodging behind part of a falling Sentinel leg -- then grabbing it, and hurling it, with eerie strength: it's a combo attack, of picking up the leg, and then emptying a bolt into the back of it, to send it hurtling at Bucky's hidey-spot. Bucky, though, is running? His cyborg takes off after him, hurtling in a rapid dash, closer, to attempt to pounce. What with all the chaos of the Sentinels being ground up by the Dynamo, it's unlikely that Bucky's got backup, the cyborg must figure.

Skye and May make entry into the building, due to Skye's computer skills and on-hand tech. The inside is disorienting: it's empty of people, just some long racks, and two huge elevators. 'Huge' puts it mildly: they could take a sentinel down in those. A smaller elevator, less of the freight type, is towards the back, and has six small sentinels near it, standing guard. They don't react to Skye or May.

Melinda May has posed:
Once they're inside, May takes a quick glance around, then looks at the smaller elevator with the guards. Then she nods to Skye and after taking a breath just walks straight toward the group and what they're guarding.

Please don't react. Please don't react. Tony, if these devices fail she will have WORDS.

Quake has posed:
Skye follows May, her hearing on high alert. She expects the sentinels inside not to notice them, and hopes and prays that the elevator works on a cycle whereby it comes to top or bottom floor and waits, quite possibly with the door opening and closing as a matter of course. Or that she and May can slip inside and close the doors before the sentinel guards tweak onto the fact that they aren't alone.

She's thinking bottom floor, or near it, a thing she'll impart to May once they're inside the elevator with the doors closed. Then again, once inside there might be clues - like, you know, key card access floors.. which might present a bit of an interesting challenge. Give or take.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"HOLY FUCK BALLS!" Darcy curls int o a ball on her chair as Queen blasts on the comms, scaring the BeeGees out of her. But never do her eyes leave her scans and her monitors.

"Buck, your six!" she shouts over the music, before groaning.

"Jesus Fuck. Tony! Kill the music. I can't hear myself think!" That's about as much of a thanks as he's getting right now. She's got to make sure Drew and Bucky get aboard, and when she does she turns to the hacked comms and tilts her head to one side.

"Hey, Tony? Did you watch Next Gen? Best of Both Worlds? They had a sleep pattern. Locutus triggered in. Put the lot of them on standby. I'm staring at stuff that looks like command strings here... what do you think would happen if we dropped a line of code of our own?"

Winter Soldier has posed:
The cyborg catches him right as he's on the Bus's ramp - there's the chatter of the Skorpion, fired at nearly point-blank range, into whatever passes for its face. Buck's teeth are bared in a rictus of anger. He's yelling aloud, assuming the Bus's comm systems will pick up the sound. "Gotta passenger!" he yells, human hand already going for a pistol.

It may be utterly hypocritical of him, but there's genuine revulsion for his opponent.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
That right fists arcs as it swings down towards a Sentinel's chest, before an explosion and a flurry of static over the wireless. An arc flash, sufficient to vaporize whatever craptastic capitalistic tinfoil that chest plate is made from. She hits the ground ontop, driving a thumb through the Sentinel's "eye"socket and wrenching on it's skull as that free right hand grabs in hard at the ruins of the chest. Circuit completed, the electrical dump is incredible. Cooking the Sentinel into molten slag, and temporarily depleting the Dynamo's capacitors.

The Dynamo's EM output drops beneath the noise floor, as she notes the bus taking off. That jet lights, and the Dynamo rockets skyward. <<What are we running, there are more of them down there! I'm not finished yet, we have work unfinished.>>Down it comes, crashing down on Bucky's new "friend" before taking care to kick the thing away. Hey team work, right?

Iron Man has posed:
"I don't know your reference, nerd, but I know what you're getting at," Tony answers Darcy teasingly. It isn't insulting, he'd call Banner a nerd, too. He does lower the music. A smidge. It's more of a 10 instead of an 11. "You'd need to pair it with something to buffer against the other commands. It's kind of a pain in the ass, and it won't last; they might just lose track of you for a few minutes, tops. I'll make you something, though." Because Tony Stark. He'll deliver what she asked for, in some degree.

Bucky's passenger is struck in the face. The scorpion takes off the whole of the side of the skull, laying everything open in a mix of grey exposed brain and metal face and jaw. Human teeth. It's a walking nightmare, as it tries to blast him in the leg with one energy-blazing palm, forced back a step. The impact to face was perhaps why it is aiming low: it got a bit disoriented by losing half of its head.

It then loses everything else, as Galina lands on it. Squuuuuish on the ramp. It's pretty gross, there was a human in there. Kicked, it splatters on the wall, too.

The elevator only has one setting down, level 'R'. One floor. The sentinels ignore them, still. For now. If the elevator moves? Who knows.

Melinda May has posed:
May looks at the rather simple control panel on the elevator and with another look at Skye, presses that singular button. Not really much else they can do at the moment. But even so, she's immediately looking at the elevator car's ceiling for the maintenance access hatch. She does NOT trust this thing at all.

If she finds it, she's going to try and open it and climb up there. Maybe the 'locals' will think its moving was just a glitch, or something.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica began charging up the moment she heard Bucky's voice. She appears at the exit of the Bus, and with a last split-second of drawing energy, she fires a blast of blue electricity at the borg charging the ramp, then follows it up with a ball of webbing that's not quite set, so that the more he moves within the electricity, the more he'll become stuck and entangled in it. "Buck - you all right?"

Darcy Lewis has posed:
Passenger? Darcy thought Bucky was safely on board and she's moves to get hte Bus started rolling.

"Seriously! Tony! I will give whomever you want a lapdance if you would just, for the LOVE of GOD, turn down the fucking music!" Darcy yells, turning in her seat to try to see if Bucky's okay and if Drew's got it.

Quake has posed:
Skye catches on to what May is thinking and helps. It's as good a ploy as any in case their destination has a bunch of guys with guns pointed at the opening doors. Likely guys who won't wait to see if anyone is in the thing before unloading their magazines and declaring it a day.

As a second thought, she hands May a backup USB drive. "First person to a computer.. I can talk you through what you see if need be." Or try. They were in grave danger of failing the objective the longer this went on and the need to deal with actual humans outside had eaten up time.

Iron Man has posed:
"I might not mind seeing how a certain Captain reacted to an attempted lap dance," Tony admits, and finally does turn down the music, for Darcy.

Skye and May climb up the elevator into the top, using one of the access hatches. They had selection, there's about three hatches there. The elevator isn't going extremely deep, but deep enough to cause nerves to fray during the time it takes.

It goes to the bottom, and then there's silence. Nothing. Then a few cyborg guards carefully examine the interior. It's a very good thing that the pair hid. The cyborgs find nothing, and move along. The doors remain open, into the area beyond.

It looks a lot like a huge call center. Computers are everywhere. There's only a few people, and they aren't close. Many of the stations seem unmanned, but also don't have keyboards. It's a strange place. Overhead, sounds still boom, but it's muffled.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Bucky is very definitely not okay. There's a distinct smell of burnt flesh in the cargo bay, and he's limping badly. But he's not down for the count. Satisfied that Jessica's onboard and the would be stowaway is dealt with, he slaps the switch that starts to close the ramp up. "Strap in, we're likely getting out of here pretty quick," he tells JEssica, not without a thankful, if shaky, grin for her. The question of him being 'all right' is not answered.

Then he's hauling his singed carcass up to the cockpit, and taking a seat.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
The Dynamo goes down, gently for the most part. The big suit lowers itself slowly, before the engine goes quiet and those venkos follow soon after. The backplate pivots, and well theres a wave of heat as Galina crawls out. Huffing and, well cockpit temps did get to an easy one eighty. All the same she snags her carbine, and a first aid kid who's plastic strap sizzles in her gloved hand. Undersuit to the rescue again. Wordlessly she follows after Bucky, huffing and puffing as she goes. Hey she looks unharmed at least, other than being short of breath under that armored helmet of hers.

Melinda May has posed:
Taking the USB stick, May nods and tucks it into her uniform vest. They wait through the patrol checking the elevator, then she climbs back down first.

A quick glance, and May gestures for Skye to go along one side of the room while she walks along the other. She also offers Skye a small handful of what look like a cross between Romanova's shocker disks and nicotine patches, but they've got the odd blue tinge of ICER rounds to them. A brief mime of slapping them on a person's neck, and she's ghosting off along her chosen aisle.

The first person she gets to, she produces one of those dendrotoxin disks and quick as swatting a bug slaps it onto whatever exposed skin she sees.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
With the music down to an acceptible levels on their coms (You're welcome, May. Sorry, Cap.), Darcy sighs and looks back toward the cockpit, before turning back to her screens.

"Okay. You said something about masking that sleep virus with something else? Run it by me again," she asks Tony, eyes skimming the communications network she's still got access to, worried about May and Skye stuck inside.

Quake has posed:
Oh, that looks like fun. And hey, Skye has no qualms about adding patching folks to her repertoire. AFter all, she'd ICE'd a few folks now. Sure.. so they were fellow agents. She'd had her reasons. And Fury's blessings...

Skye slips as stealthily as she's able and follows suit to May's actions, sneaking up and dispatching. The goal in mind: find a place to get that download. Silent and focused now.

Iron Man has posed:
"Yeah, yeah," Tony says in a conversational way, when people attempt to rush him. He's already working extremely quickly. "Ready when you are."

The worker May finds in one of the cubicles, as she knocks out the woman, is actually shackled in there. She couldn't have left if she wanted to. It's probably only noticeable as the target leans forward due to the disk applied to skin. Not everyone is like that, either: but most of those in the cubicles are in that state.

But the resistance isn't there, not from those people. They have consoles, so in theory, there's lots of computers around. The big elevators are coming down, now; they may be full of nasty things.

There are lots of exits to the 'call center' room: multiple large doors ahead and to the right, and smaller ones on the left. The large doors suggest machinery, the smaller doors have labels: those lead to the labs.

Iron Man has posed:
The Sentinels were really decimated. Their numbers are pretty wrecked, due to the massive war on the doorstep of the facility. That doesn't mean that there aren't more, and that the plane isn't vulnerable to their attacks. It's just taking some time to rally. They are also staying back: it's as if they learned from Galina, to properly organize, and prepare a better, organized attack. They're getting ready, very clearly; Darcy will see all of the communication as the East commander lays out their attack strategy, and how they're going to bash the plane down, and use a biological attack to cleanse the spot.

Melinda May has posed:
May frowns at seeing the woman shackled to the computer station and straightens to locate Skye. She waggles a hand to get the hacker's attention (the classic ASL way of getting attention), then signs to her inexpertly that the person was chained but there's a comp---

She turns to look as she hears something and... crap. Big elevator. She points to the doors leading to the labs.

That way. Now.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Galina gets to tend him just long enough for Buck to really start flipping switches. "There's a first aid pack back there," he says, jerking his head at the red box on the bulkhead nearest the cockpit door. "Get the syringe with the red striping out, please, and hit me with it in the right shoulder." God only knows what disgusting adrenaline/pain killer cocktail it's gonna be....but maybe it'll counteract the pallor apparent on his face. "Then strap in." That latter echoed to the others. "We're doing like May said and making it look like we're getting the hell out of Dodge. Gonna draw away some of this hornet swarm."

//I was a fucking infantryman and a paratrooper, not a pilot,// chatters some part of his brain, back behind the scrim of adrenaline and urgency.

Crimson Dynamo has posed:
Syringe with the red striping out obtained, Galina gives the thing a flick before driving it in and well she knows how to work a needle pretty well for obvious reasons. Duty done, she slumps down in the copilot's seat and straps in. She's anything but a pilot herself mind, but hey she can be there for moral support?

Quake has posed:
It all comes together at the same time. The gestures and signs pointing out both computer and the prisoners. Skye signs back for May to handle the elevators and guard the prisoners while she handles the download. She has to come back that way regardless for them to fight their way out - ugh, could the elevator hold them all?

Focus Skye. One thing at a time. Priority: Download. Worry about passenger loads later.

Once she's ascertained May is on the same page, Skye makes a break for it, so to speak.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"Wait...there are test subjects...and scientists? Here??" Jessica is practically contorting herself to find a window she can see out of to look back toward the facility. "TONY!!" She has no idea where he would pick up her voice so she talks to the ceiling like she would JARVIS. "Are you hearing this??"

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Thanks, Tony," Darcy says as the TNG Virus shows ready on her board. She wants to make sure she can do as much harm to these fucks as possible so she reads the intel she's getting, and lets out a low whistle.

"These fuck learn," is commented as she's watching the timing, reading through just how quickly they learn and adapt.

"Fucking Borgs," she whispers, body leaning forward, intent on the displays. She can see them gathering up for a single assault on the Bus. Part of her mind hears Bucky.

"NO! Wait!" she calls back, watching as the sentinal groups all start clicking the Ready button on their UI.

"Oh. Hell no," she states and taps the DEPLOY VIRUS button Tony put on her console.

"I'm not about to have motherfucking robots bashing down this motherfuckign plane," she states, even as she keeps reading. Her eyes widen as something comes across the screen.

"May! They've got test subjects and scientists in the lower labs. All sentinals will be down in likes any second now. System reboot in... maybe 5 minutes?" she turns in her chair to yell down to the cock pit.

"I'm not going to ask why it smells like day old Rudy's BBQ in here, but please fix that. Robots'll be down five minutes tops," she lets the rest down there in the piloting bay know.

Iron Man has posed:
The sentinels outside were just about ready to flip the ship, and were creating a net of signals and placement. There's a lot of them. However, the explosive virus is released, and all of the large Sentinels abruptly have very big problems. Some drop to the ground heavily, on their feet; others remain hanging in the air. The cyborgs do not seem to have any problem, but they aren't close. They immediately begin to attempt to free their other Sentinels from whatever the problem is, though: it may be closer to three minutes, with those cyborgs actively fighting back. At least the cyborgs are trying to fix the army, and not coming themselves. It's probably just due to their shitty range. Optimal response is to get the army online.

"I hear you, I'm busy stopping an army," Tony answers, put-upon by being yelled at as if he's JARVIS. "And yes; we won't nuke the site from orbit."

The lab doors lead into the bowels of the place. Skye and May will need to get through a number of security challenges: doors, various patrols, guards. It's a lot. They find some larger laboratory areas, with racks of cyborg parts, sentinel equipment. And some computers that look extremely promising. Just past that are some clear test facilities, possibly cells that may contain subjects. At the end of those cells is a very high security door. That must be where they keep the T-Rex.

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Yes, they've got test subjects, and they're planning on evaccing!" Darcy yells back at Jessica, voice growing just as maniac as Tony's as she watches the code scroll by.

"Drew! Come up here and help me watch for shit. May, you have to bounce, right now. I've got the sentinals on lock down but it's not going to last and their coms are showing that they've pin pointed the Bus and are going to drop soem biological agents on this place. They are going to Clorox you!! I know you're not talking, but for the love of God finish your download and get your asses back to the plane!" Darcy can't watch sentinal coms and security feeds at hte same time.

Quake has posed:
Ah, bazinga! There's the motherlode. There's no doubt in Skye's mind that what they're looking for is behind those doors. GEtting past them is going to be the challenge, and if it's been wet paper bags up to this point, she's fairly certain this is something more along the lines of two rolls of duct tape and a child-proof lock while you're wearing oven mitts.

Then again, she lives for these challenges.

Skye indicates the door with a nod and signs she's going to attempt to get them past security there, and for May to back her.

Melinda May has posed:
May takes point on getting into and through the lab area. She's not entirely sure what's going on on the Bus, and not knowing makes her irritable. So she's taking it out on the patrols and guards. She uses the ICER disks and her taser baton without hesitation. Then Darcy yells over the comms that their time is up and she makes a snap decision. This one computer, it's a laptop. She's bringing that one along without being at all sure if it's even got anything useful on it.

"Skye, let's go. Now."

Winter Soldier has posed:
Whatever was in that syringe, Bucky's on Cloud Nine. Maybe that explains the literally dopey grin he has on. But there is genuine urgency in his tone. "Yeah, ladies," (ladies?) "Get the lead out. Bus is leaving."

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica gets up there and helps Darcy watch for shit. She watches carefully, following the code for a long moment. "Is now a good time to tell you I have no idea what I'm watching for?"

Quake has posed:
Two things simultaneously: May said "let's go, Skye", and the childproof lock gives up its secrets all at once. Like, Skye is literally opening the door and looking in as May grabs up the laptop. Which means regardless of the order, Skye is getting an eyefull of that room beyond... and then she's going to mess it up just a little for them. (if possible and appropriate). Because that's how we deal with people who don't play well in the sandbox.

Iron Man has posed:
The area in the highest security zone contains cell areas, a total of five: one in front, and then two on each side of the little short hallway. The far cell is huge. Clearly enough to fit a Sentinel or bigger. It's empty. There's nothing in it. Just a lot of hooks and cables. And a big label on that spot, 'Subject 1'. All of that, for an empty box. There's a few other cells on either side. Only one of them is occupied, by some guy on a breathing device, a clear prisoner there, unconscious, with an epic amount of monitoring equipment.

The others are just empty cells, just a masses of restraints.

If T-rex was there, it's not there any more. Then again, weren't they sent here to figure out where Sebastion, the terrifyingly powerful Sentinel, came from?

Darcy Lewis has posed:
"Now's the perfect time to tell me that," Darcy tells Drew, sparing a glance a smile and a wink at her before pointing at the scanners and the screens with exterior shots of the plane.

"Red are bad. Green are good. And those are our eyes outside. If it's moving, we need to know about it," Darcy explains how she overwatches before pauses when she hears Bucky's loopy voice.

"Oh, fuck. Did they just... Really? Did we just roofie our pilot?" she asks no one in general, before sliding out of her chair and whistling Lila to her while pointing at lines of code from the main bot in East.

"That's the big boy. Watch his comms, because when he wakes up all Hel breaks loose and shits on our face. Keep May up to speed on what's out there," she tells Drew before turning awway and rushing toward the cockpit, cussing the whole way. Galina standing there? Tough shit. She moves or Darcy will just shoulder past, seeking to get to Bucky's side and into the other pilot's chair.

"Buck? Sweetheart? Lila's here. She needs pets because she's been a good girl. You go do that, okay, and I'll drive us home. I'm the DD right now, like uber only hotter," she's telling him, hoping he'll leave off the other controls. Her words reach everyone via her coms headset because she didnt' take that off. You're not supposed to take off your coms. That's the rule. Coms on always because communicaiton is fucking KEY.

Plus, this way May will really get a move on: Darcy is about to try to bring the Bus in for a landing near to their egress point.

"May.. hurry up, please." she's chanting, like a mantra, hands wanting to shake on the sticks. Wanting to, but Darcy is refusing to let them.

Quake has posed:
Skye sees enough. Just enough to be able to send to May over the comms, silent running be damned, "May, we got a problem. There's a body back here on life support. I think we found patient zero."

As in the transplant. The body behind the brains in the Sebastian unit. Skye pondering if these guys hadn't stollen a page out of Zola's books, and either way, she and May and the Avengers needed to have a little talk...

"What's your call?"

Winter Soldier has posed:
"I'm all right," Buck insists. And indeed, the reflexes don't seem impaired, at least. "Here." And he's already got the big boat rolling. Please, God, let this not be like two squabbling parents taking their horrified kids on a long car trip. But at least they're heading towards the point May and Skye designated. All the better to let them hop aboard.

Melinda May has posed:
"You what?" CRAP. May catches up with Skye and looks at the person on life support... and breathes out a soft curse in Mandarin. She looks at whatever machines he's tied to and doesn't know enough to know if it's safe to just yank him off of them. "We don't have any way to--"

She stops abruptly. No breathing tube, just nasal cannula. "Skye, get that wheelchair. Quickly." And she hands the laptop over to the hacker and then rushes to the man to start disconnecting everything from hime.

Quake has posed:
Ah fuckit. Skye isn't about to leave the man he-- .. and there's May over the comm's confirming her own instinct to get the man out of here and away from this hell. Whoever he is - even if he isnt' Sebastian, he's coming home with them. There is, handily, a wheelchair. Clearly they move him from time to time to do whatever it is they do on him.

Sure, this one is going to be a bitch to explain leaving.. For good measure, Skye grabs the sheet off his bed and makes it look like this is all official like and just another day at the office. Bravado had worked other times, why not now?

"Just don't die," she tells the man as she starts wheeling him the hell out of dodge. "PLease don't die."

Iron Man has posed:
Inside, they have their laptop, they have their wheelchair of unconscious guy, and a lot of lab space to navigate through. There's sounds and yelling from the front callcenter, as there's some kind of skirmish going on there. Possibly related to the people that didn't want to remain attached to their computers any longer. There's a few screams, though.

In fact, surfacing into that area from the labs leads to one of the technicians actively beating the hell out of the person that had slumped over her keyboard earlier. The patrol is observing, mostly ignoring other areas. "Prisoner contained," states one of the patrol cyborgs.

Outside, everything is booting back up. The ship may need to make a break for it. Time is out, unless they have another new plan.

"I have an idea," Tony says. Yes, there's more QUEEN. 'Who Wants to Live Forever', now. "Can you circle around? Do a full sweep. I want to triangulate on those major signals. Maybe we can get another hit."

Darcy Lewis has posed:
Darcy's used to flying WITH someone, so together she and Bucky get the bus into position.

"Dreeeew?" she calls out. "How are we looking, gorgeous? We need updates," she calls back, voice a little too tight to be calm. Her heart's pounding worse than a derby bout, and she looks back at the doggo hunched down by Bucky's chair. With things calm for a moment, she slides out of the pilot's seat, whistles the puppy to another chair near by and... uses that three point harness thing to get her buckled in best she can. She starts to consider more when Tony calls over the coms, and Darcy scrambles back to the seat, eyes skimming over Bucky before focusing on helping him pilot.

"Only if we're fast. I dont' have my full sensor suite, but I don't like hte look of those red dots.

"DREW?!" she calls out, getting more nervous about not being able to SEE!

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"It looks like the 49ers are down to the Packers' five yard line. It's first and goal. But there's a penalty on the play. Too many men on the field. Somebody's streaking with a wheelchair..."Jessica replies without missing a beat.

Melinda May has posed:
No, they are not streaking with a wheelchair. They're running, yes. There's a wheelchair, yes. But there is NO streaking involved. May is running interference for Skye and it's been messy, but they've made it out of the building. Now where the hell is her Bus?

Somewhere in their fleeing she's taken a hit that has opened a small cut on her temple but she's ignoring it. They need to get on the Bus. That's the goal she's focusing on.

Where the HELL is her Bus?

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"And there's a fumble on the play. Looks like a dogpile on the two yard line. We'll have to wait and see who comes up with the ball..." Jess commentates from her screen.

Iron Man has posed:
After not a minor amount of resistance, the small group drag everything outside.

The facility looks like it was hit by a bomb of confusion. Lots of guards are everywhere, as are Sentinels. It's decent fortune that it IS mostly Sentinels, and that the human guards are all trying to dodge the crazy Sentinels that are full of weird virus. They shout in Russian to each other.

In the mess and confusion, particularly as a second blast of an even better virus goes out, allows May and Skye to make their escape. It's impossible to take the wheelchair over rough terrain, but they can manage: the guy is in really bad shape, which makes him weigh very little. He doesn't wake up, either.

Getting to the plane without getting shot is another feat, the bus is going to take some blasts from guards, but the whole party is able to limp away.

All of that, for an unknown guy, and a laptop. Hopefully it's not just full of cat memes.

Quake has posed:
Unknown guy? Nope. Skye's sure it's Sebastian. It all fits. As for cat memes... they'll know before they're a click away depending on the encryption. Like Skye is waiting till they land to check...

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"And Green Bay runs it back for a touchdown!!" Jess calls out to the others. "Let's call it a night, after that play!"
