Wolverine has posed:
It seemed like a quiet evening at O'Halloran's Irish Pub and Eatery. They had some live music going on, as the owner was trying to bring in the niche indie crowd, though how much that had worked out for them remains to be seen.

The actual pub itself was typical Irish fair, with dark woods, forest green, burgundy red, and a bit of gold trim here and there. The crowd was a mixture of young and old. By the bar, most of them were regulars, talking and chatting as if they had known each other for years.

To the left of the door, there were booths and tables, young couples, or small groups. To the right there were no booths, only tables, and a small stage set up for the live entertainment.

The central bar curved around, offering access from the left, right, and front, but the back lead to the kitchen. Logan was sitting with his back to the stage, a curiosity, as most people wanted to face the music. He wore a black buttoned shirt, top three buttons left undone, blue jeans, and sturdy brown boots.

Most people would assume he was keeping to himself, and they'd be right. But he kept offering glances towards an arguing couple in the corner. He didn't need to stare, he could get everything with a few glances.

Daniel Osborn has posed:
This is a different spot for Oz. But he heard this was a good place, and he was in the area, so he decided to stop in for a drink, no reason not to. He had originally been a bit closer to the bar, not part of the regular crowd, he didn't really know anyone here, but the arguing couple drew his attention and he'd managed to slip away from his current spot and pick a spot much closer to him, though still somehow managing to blend into the crowd. Unlike Logan he's facing the stage, actually somewhat interested in the music, though he's more focused on the couple, starting to become concerned this could devolve into a situation and wanting to stop it before it gets too far. This is not how he'd planned his evening out. Really he doesn't even notice Logan...well he does, curious as to why he's facing away from the music, but the guy seemed to want to be left alone, so Oz has respected that.

Wolverine has posed:
Although the arguing couple were trying to keep a wraps on things, sometimes their voices would carry during breaks in the music, especially for anyone with keen hearing. The music covered most of it, but some are able to tune in and focus on such things.

Their disagreement seems to stem from his belief that she was spending too much time with her ex-boyfriend, and she brought up some sort of incident in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a woman named Jennifer. Thus far, they hadn't become violent, though it could boil over at any moment.

Logan was a quiet man, when he was permitted to be, and so he ordered another drink. They didn't serve Molson in here, so he was going with an old fashioned Guinness. It should be good here, given the name. He also ordered a plate of chicken wings, as the bartender, Randy, brought them over along with napkins and a bowl to place the bones.

Daniel Osborn has posed:
Oz is quiet himself, though the argument has him slightly tense. He's already got a drink, and he seems to be going light tonight, can't drink and drive after all, but he didn't come to get drunk. He came for a simple drink, perhaps a bite to eat, and now to enjoy the music. From his position Logan is one of the people in his line of sight, which means he spots the chicken wings, and it tempts him to organ some for himself, though he hasn't done so just yet. Figure out what this couple will do first, then food.

Wolverine has posed:
Heavy or light, Logan can't really get drunk. His regenerative healing factor and metabolism gets in the way. It filters out toxins, so he, unlike the vast majority of people on this planet, actually drinks alcohol for the taste. He dives into the wings, doing his best not to make a mess; the sauce gets over his fingers, and then wiped off on the napkins, only for more sauce to get on his fingers. He does pick the bones clean, like, spotless clean.

Meanwhile, the woman throws her drink in the face of the man and he moves to strike her...

Daniel Osborn has posed:
Oz is fast on his feet, jogging the short distance from his table to the couple's, catching the man's hand in his own and imposing himself between them. "There's no need for that," he says, calmly, looking between the 2 of them.

Wolverine has posed:
The man had a definite size advantage on Oz, and weight for that matter, but Oz is quick and brave. The hand is stopped, caught, and he looks more surprised than angry, "how'dj ya?? Oh, noo yous didn't?" He was slurring his speech, and was about to use his other hand to punch, but suddenly there was a vicious right cross, courtesy of Logan. And therein lies the difference. Oz moved to stop him, while Logan moved to incapacitate him.

The man hit the ground, and the bartender and security were about to throw Logan out of there, but the woman immediately came to Oz and Logan's defence, Oz somehow getting thrown in the lot. The music stopped and everyone was looking at them. Thankfully another man says, "oh, for f's sake, get up Paul!" Clearly talking to the man on the ground, clutching his jaw, which might well have been cracked.

Daniel Osborn has posed:
Oz wouldn't have been able to stop the man easily without his surprise advantage, and since he hadn't moved to incapacitate from the get go, he wouldn't have been able to gethim out that easily. But he's thankful for Logan's help, and he offers the man a smile, sighing, clearly glad that it's over. "Drunken bar fights are never fun," he mutters, more to himself than anything, and he's glad that the woman came to their defense as well, he wasn't ready to be thrown out tonight.

Wolverine has posed:
As the man's friends seem to take care of him, and will lead him out of the bar, the woman will talk more with the bartender, apparently he's the ex-boyfriend, leaving Logan and Oz lucky to have it end there and then. But for Paul, the woman, and Randy, things are ongoing. "It's an acquired taste, kid." Logan offers to Oz, "nice move by the way. Yer quicker than you look."

Daniel Osborn has posed:
"A few years of training will do that," Oz says, with a laugh. "I'm Oz," by the way," he says. He doesn't seem to immediately recognize Logan, though.

Wolverine has posed:
Logan offers his hand and if accepted, will shake. Logan's got a firm grip, a damn firm grip, like the kind you'd expect your great grandfather might have had when he was young. Curiously soft skin though. "Name's Logan," and as he looks back to his chicken wings, which seem to have doubled in size. Seems Randy was appreciative of them taking out Paul. "Want some chicken wings?"

Daniel Osborn has posed:
"Definitely," Oz says, glancing back at the chicken wings. "They look good," he says. Stopping bar fights can certainly have their advantages.

Wolverine has posed:
Logan raises his hand and intones his index finger towards himself in a come here gesture, and when Randy does approach, he'll say, "Randy, another drink for my friend Oz here." Then turns to Oz, "what'll it be?" He takes up his seat and digs into some of those deliciously spicy chicken wings, teriyaki style.

Daniel Osborn has posed:
Oz considers for a moment. "Surprise me," he says. "Long as I'm not drunk I'll be okay." He turns his attention to the chicken wings, and definitely seems to be quite pleased with them. "Not bad," he says. Like Logan he seems to be picking the bones spotless clean, though he's taking his time, really enjoying them.

Wolverine has posed:
Either Randy was in a good mood, or he took Oz at face value, but he pours 1 oz of Absolut vodka, 1 oz DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker schnapps, half an oz of Captain Morgan spiced rum, a splash of triple sec, and 2 oz of cranberry juice into a shaker with ice cubes. He shook it, and poured it into a highball glass, and served it to Oz on the rocks, "one Surprise Me". Smirking, Logan said, "you asked for it."

Daniel Osborn has posed:
"I did," Oz says, witha bit of a laugh. He'll drink it, absolutely, perhaps it's stronger than he would've liked but he's not gonna complain. "It's actually not bad," he says, after taking a drink. He turns his attention back to the chicken wings, and looks over to the stage.

Wolverine has posed:
The band on stage had a female lead singer, who had a bit of a candy cane hair style, having repeatedly dyed her hair black and blond as she grew it out. It's hard to tell what the natural hair colour is, as she plucked her eyebrows. The band is pretty good, though a bit grunge like for Logan's tastes. Doesn't really suit the atmosphere here, but you have to try new things, right?

Logan goes back into his chicken wings. With both Logan and Oz being pretty quiet by nature, anyone observing them probably thought that they were old friends, able to comfortably sit and eat in near silence, well, what would be near silence if not for the music.

Daniel Osborn has posed:
That thought does cross Oz's mind, they could pass for old friends really, and he does feel fairly comfortable in the silence, even getting into the music a little. Between the chicken wings, the alcohol, and the music, he certainly looks quite happy, even happier than he did when he came in.
