Synopsis: A quiet day and talk between Wanda and Josh about future hopes and dreams
Cast of Characters: Scarlet Witch, Elixir

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff leans her head into Josh's touch. His fingers through her hair draw out smiles and happy sighs. She could spend the day like that with him, just feeling his touch in her hair, and Wanda would call it the happiest of days.

As it is, snuggling with Josh is a treasured moment. The kind that when she does eventually have to go, will bring back many smiles over the course of the day as she remembers. Wanda leans her face down to his upper chest, kissing it softly and giving a little grin as she remembers that's what started this.

She lifts her head, sweeping her hair back over a shoulder to get it out of the way. "So, my handsome lover wants to be a doctor. Though, just so he can practice his true medicine in peace, mostly? Do you have other dreams and goals? Somewhere that you'd like to live? Somewhere you'd like to visit? Do you want a family? Do you want to travel?" she asks, basking in his warmth, her body nestling atop his.

Elixir has posed:
Josh Foley lays completely relaxed with Wanda snuggled up to him and feels everything is right in the world. And for them it is, even though there is the knowledge in the back of the mind that this long moment will end. Josh rubs Wanda's back gently and just /is/ with her.

"Huh?" he asks, opening his eyes and looking at Wanda. He laughs.

"Oh you're bringing out the big questions, now. I just had to open my big mouth..." he jokes. "Well, yeah, that's why I wanna be a doctor. And I admit, I just like helping," he says and a touch of red colours his cheeks. His expression is pleasantly thoughtful and he puts one hand behind his head.

"I wanted to play college football, that's kinda changed. Now I wanna hit the top of the league charts on my new team. Make aux field leader so I can lead missions, totally badass," he grins. "I wanna be a pilot, too. Hank's teaching me so I can fly the jet one day."

He wriggles a bit, contentedly. "I wanna live wherever you are, that's one's a dumb question," he grins with a wink. "Never really thought about that. This probably sounds stupid, but I always thought I'd have one of those big church weddings and like, two kids? What was the last one? Travel, yeah, I wanna see Europe, Transia especially! All the ridiculous stuff, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, you know. Swim in Great Barrier Reef. See komodo dragons in the Galapagos! Hawaii..."

Josh shrugs and tilts his head. "Your turn!"

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff lies atop Josh, body nestling to his. Her upper arm rests across his chest to the shoulder, her elbow bent and hand supporting her head above him so she can see his face better while Josh tells her his dreams and wishes. "So you are /really/ into football then," she says. "We will definitely have to watch some games together then," she tells him.

Wanda smiles as she listens to the rest. There's a thoughtful look when he mentions piloting, and though she doesn't mention it just now, Josh might remember the Avengers have jets as well.

The auburn-haired woman grins as he speaks of living where she is. "Well, some people like... Florida. Or the big city. Or the mountains," she says. "I've not worried about where as much," she says. Wanda gives a tiny shrug of her shoulders. "It's easy for me to get around, after all. We can definitely go all of those places though," she tells him.

Wanda things for a bit. "I'd like to have some kids someday, I think. A little girl would be nice," she says. "I haven't worried about it like some people do. I figure if it happens, it will happen." She gives a soft laugh. "Believe it or not, I've never dreamed of my own wedding. My life was just... so odd during those years. Other things had my focus I guess."

Wanda gives a little sigh. "I'm finding myself enjoying these quiet moments together though. I could see enjoying having a porch looking out over a lake, sitting in a porch swing watching the sunset? And travel, I've mostly traveled out of need. The thought of having someone to just... enjoy a trip with is such a novel, and enticing one. I think... Austria. Or Switzerland. Some lake up in the mountains where we have to bundle up for the cold? I like the cold more than the heat. Though, Genosha's climate has some appeal too."

Elixir has posed:
"Yeah, the way you grew up... Doesn't really make you think of that stuff. You'd have a gorgeous daughter, though," Josh says with a smile. "But she'd be trouble. You don't wanna live in Genosha so you can be near your family? I mean, I guess near doesn't mean much for you. But if you had kids it might be good? Or Transia?" he asks curiously.

"I like the idea of that house by the lake though. I went camping near Mount Baker in Washington once. The mountains and the woods were amazing. Didn't like the bugs though."

Josh gives Wanda a brief squeeze. "If you're trying to sell me on a romantic getaway, I'm already there. I just gotta save up," he grins. "Ibiza would so fun, but we'd probably end up on the news or something..."

Josh's grin fades and he frowns. "I'm gonna end up in the news a bunch, aren't I. That's gonna be messy."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda can't help but give him a beautiful smile as he talks about how beautiful her daughter would be. "I don't know," she says of living in Genosha. "It is a difficult thing, my family. Not Lorna or Pietro so much, but my father. While I know he does what he thinks is best, I still worry about how extreme his views can be," Wanda says.

She looks thoughtful, as if this is something she hasn't thought through before. "Somewhere away from... all of this, has some appeal to me. Though, I don't know, that might be sheltering a bit too much from the rest of the world, isn't it?" she asks, pursing her lips to one side as if she thinks it might be.

"Well, perhaps splitting time at least," she says, shrugging a little, before she smiles as they talk about getaways. "You probably will get your picture snapped a few times. For a little while especially, then less whenever the news moves onto something newer," she tells him.

Wanda gazes over at Josh. "I'll happily have my picture taken with you," she tells him confidently. Wanda takes one of his hands in hers, brings it to her lips to kiss the backs of his fingers. "You are a wonderful man. A good person. And I love you. That's what matters."

Elixir has posed:
Josh beams and shakes his head when she so confidently says both she is happy to be public and loves him. "You're a dream come true," he says happily. He shakes his head slightly after a moment, coming back to his train of thought.

"I was thinking of the X-Men. They're a covert team, which kinda sucks sometimes. The really public people have a harder time doing missions and if we get caught, there's nobody to fall back on. We just have to take it and keep quiet. But the more my face is out there, the easier it is to get recognized."

"Not to mention we're together; if I'm seen doing something with the X-Men, people are gonna think I was helping you out for the Avengers. "

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda's fingers idly brush back and forth against Josh's as they talk. "If anything with the X-men comes back on me, I'll deal with it. I have a sister on the team as well after all, so there is always that possibility," Wanda says. "I can't do much about the fact you might be recognized more easily. Though..." Wanda says, trailing off and then her voice turning extra warm and playful. "You would look positively smashing in a domino mask," she tells him in her softly accented English.

She leans over to brush a gentle kiss to his lips. Her finger moves over to touch him there, softly tracing his bottom lip for a moment. "The X-men have ways of hiding their identities. But even if the worst happens, I'll stand together with you. I don't imagine you'd do any less for me. And I want us to be together," she says. "But if you like, we can try to keep you out of the press as much as possible. Just, no Colby... what was his name? Drake? Walter? Whoever. No more of those," she says, shivering and shaking her head.
