Date of Scene: 15 June 2017
Location: Sunnydale, Bludhaven
Synopsis: Damian meets Buffy
Cast of Characters: Robin (Wayne), Buffy Summers

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
It is a dark night, though for once it isn't raining at least for Damian that is a change as he swore the clouds were just following him. He was taking a short through the graveyard, as he decided to make Bloodhaven one of his new haunts so had to explore it well, and really only moved at night. As he was walking he noticed a fire out here, though he did apporach his training kicked in so sticked to the shadows so the kids sitting around it drinking beer, and talking loudly did not even see him. There were a few of them, and Damian quickly realized they were just out here telling ghost stories, about to move on he froze in place as he heard the noise of someone else.

One of the drunk boys, "He drove away hearing the scratching.. the scratching, but then looked in the back window. AND SAW THE MAN WITH THE CLAW!" but right as he talks about the claw someone else that was using the shadows jumps out at them. The girls screamed and immeditly took off runing just running random directions though the boy who was telling the story only said.. "What.. comon.. I was kidding." before turning to see the person himself.

The man hissed at him with his long teeth in his mouth with yellow eyes, and started moving towards the boy. He would of got him too, but a spike came out of the shadows piercing his shoulder, and throwing him back as the cloacked figure stepped out of the shadows. The boy looks at him then back at the man, and doesn't ask any more question running away. As the man with the long teeth comes back up, Damian is already moving in a couple spikes in hand. The figure darts towards him, but Damian moves out of the way his movement faster then any normal human he Vampire just gets air, and another spike through the leg making him yell again.

This happends a few more times though the vampire is moving slower and slower as more of the tendons in his body are severed, but he will not stay down. The boy says to himelf under his breath.. "Why won't you die.." as he throws another into his hand pinning the thing down. He starts walking up to him.. slowly approaching for a more killing blow.

Buffy Summers has posed:
What is Buffy doing tonight? What every red-blooded American 17 year old girl wants to do! She's wandering around a graveyard looking for evil things to kill.

What she wouldn't give sometimes to be normal.

Which is a lie if she analyzes it closely. In some ways she loves being the Slayer. Well, a slayer. Since there seem to be two of them right now. Something she still hasn't figured out except the theory was she died at some point. But she was only mostly dead so she got better. So now there were two. At least she didn't have an attitude problem.

As she continues her patrol toward the cemetary, she hears the screaming. Immediately she runs that direction, hand going into the messenger bag at her side and drawing a stake. Graveyard means probably a vampire attacking some idiot sitting around a fire telling stupid stories.

Cue girl running past screaming at the top of her lungs.

There is more yelling up ahead but this sounds like pain. She makes a beeline that direction then pulls up short, seeing a little shadow attacking a vampire.

She pauses, frowning a little as she hears the muttering. "Now I'm torn. Killing isn't a nice thing but he is a bad guy so what to do, what to do," she says outloud to get the diminutive figure's attention.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The cloaked figure sighs at the thing, as he ignores the kids that ran away. He throws another spike into the chest of the thing his aim in imprecable square center of the heart, but it is a normal looking metal dart. The thing does go through him, into the ground below him so the strength did not seem normal. Though the still still moves, though it can't even reach out now as it is impailed into the ground. He falls silent though hearing the person running towards him, and the figure speaks out-loud. He sighs, turning to face her though his attention is split between both you and the struggling thing behind him.

Of course he has heard about magic that could bring the dead back to life, but not like this.. There was no pit, no mystics.. nothing. The figure holds up his hands. The darts fall into the sleaves, as he releases them, disapearing into his sleaves like they were not even there. "Don't shoot.. Unless your like him.." he lowers his hands thinking about it.. "Then I wouldn't miss.."

He takes a step forward, a couple of things this gives away is his voice.. First it is obviously not someone that old. If you were to guess he was young.. real young. Second he is wearing a black mask, though it hides his face it seems to be a common mask anyone can get from any store. His sky-blue eyes shine through though, they look serious. Like someone who had seen way too much, there is intelligence so it isn't a dead look.

The boy takes one last step as his arm moves, a dart appears again out of it.. "Now I am torn, you might not be one of them, but you might stop me if I let you go.. Speak quickly"

Buffy Summers has posed:
"Really? I come here to try and help and youc cop an attitude? I should just leave you here with him," she motions to the pinned vampire that looks a lot like a voodoo doll with pins sticking out of it. "Until he gets up and rips your throat out." She can sense that the boy isn't a monster. It's a thing she can do. Her guess is the kid's a human. Also, he's way too young to be wandering around a cemetary with a mask on his face.

"Just move and leave this to the professionals, 'kay?"

She doesn't wait for an answer. There is no aggression that is directed toward the cloaked figure. She walks right past him and moves to the fallen vamp. With a yank, the spike is effortlessly pulled out of his chest. Then she brings down the wooden stake in the same spot. An instant later, the vampire and his clothing turn into a cloud of dust which falls to the ground where he'd been pinned. The stakes that were in the ground remain. Those that were in the vampire only fall from the air to land in the dust and dirt.

Buffy turns back around to look at the kid. "Get home before you get yourself hurt."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The boy is silent as she walks.. He watches her, and she can prob tell that dart could go at any of the directions, though body wise he does relax.. Just a little. He sighs again, "You... You have no idea who I am do you." as he says you he throws another dart, the vamp as you had seen had freed an arm, and was woring on the other. With little aiming his dart went through the arm cutting the muscle that one would have to use to move his arms. Another dart comes to mind... "I would say you have a little amount of time, before that heals.."

Surprisingly though he holds up his hands, "I am sorry, I am used to dealing with a lot more... dangerous people. I seem to have over reacted." he gives a sigh, and waves his hand to the thing. "Do your thing.. before I go, prehaps I should see what you use though." then falls silent again watching Buffy analysing the situation to watch carefully. When she turns back around he is walking off... "Intresting... well that should make it much easier.. Though a lot less fun." he then sighs a bit.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy rolls her eyes at that. More dangerous people. She just dusted a vamp that he couldn't figure out how to kill and she's less dangerous. But whatever. Doesn't matter to her and hopefully he'll go home. "Like I said, leave them to the professionals. There's a lot of monsters out here that are way worse than the vampires." Now he has a name for the creature he fought although it doesn't quite fit the Hollywood version. "This isn't fun, kid. Do you want me to walk you home?"

Because even if he doesn't, she intends to follow him to make sure he gets there safely. He's dangerous enough with those spikes. Obviously he has some sort of training. If he ran into an average bad guy? He'd likely wipe the floor with him. But in the Sunnydale burb off Bludhaven? Knowledge is power when it comes to the creatures of the night.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The boy walks, and when you follow he doesn't seem to stop walking, "Professional, your strike was off by 5 degrees.. I mean you knew to use a twig go team!" I figure my next step was dismemberment.. Sooner or later he would of died." Though he does seem to listen when you talk about other monsters. He sighs, as she talks about this is home, and the patrinizing tone about walking him home. "You made two assumptions there, one.. I am some kid that needed help in that situation, and.." he stops, and turns to look at her, "And I have a home I should return to." though he scoffs.

He then turns, and starts walking again looking back at her.. "So innocent its nice to hear once in a while. Comon I will buy you an ice-cream for helping me out." and then he walks on again.. This time toward lights, he sighs to himself lowering the hood. His hair is jet black, and long though well kept.. he looks like a mix between Arabian, and american so he did not look like he was from around here. "But if you insist on holding my hand to cross the street... I will stab you."

Buffy Summers has posed:
"Degrees, schmegrees," Buffy mutters as she follows, frowning at the boy. "He's dust. That's all that matters. And at least I did more than turn him into a vampiric pincushion."

The explanation about being homeless sinks in though. She isn't sure about having a kid who doesn't even have a home buying things for her. It doesn't sit well. At the same time, he's a snotty little brat and he's rubbing her all sorts of wrong. Where she should be sympathetic, she's instead getting a little irked at the superior attitude. "I'm not going to be trying to hold your hand. You're too young for me," she says, purposefully misinterpreting it. "And I think I'll pass on the ice cream. I have more patrolling to do."

They are moving closer to populated areas with open businesses so she's feeling a little better about things. "You need a place to stay for the night?I"m sure I can get you a room or somethng somewhere."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The boy seems to scoff at her getting the wrong impression.. He just shakes his head, and stops. "Wait... you don't know me, heck I could of killed you what.. just a few minutes ago, and now... now you are offering me a place to stay for the night." he seems to shakes his head. "I am almost willing to take you up on that, just to see how it plays out. But no.. those dangerous people would find that." he smiles a bit, but looks out.

He starts walking again, "We will meet again I am sure of it.. And it is the dead that should fear.. I will use my training, and skill to end them." he pauses holding up a hand.. "Now that I know how." He turns around so he can face her.. He does look young like fifteen, though his whole face is dark, like he would kill anyone if he felt like it. "I thank you for your hospitality, though I have some hunting to do.. I think I have seen one earlier I need to find again.. Tall, black hair, though I am not sure he was working like a normal human." he shrugs, and walks away. "Too bad for him if he isn't."

Buffy Summers has posed:
"Piss 'em off. Usually I do it by punching then. They go vamp, stake 'em." Buffy figures he isn't going to listen to her trying to convince him to stay safe. She may as well give him some sound advice. Nor does she address the fact he figured she was that easy to kill. It's a bit insulting really. "If they don't, it's called murder. Cops 'round here kinda frown on that one."

She doesn't bother following now. She just watches as he walks away, hoping he doesn't go do something stupid.

Who's she to talk? She goes and does something stupid every single night. Walking around graveyards, looking for monsters.

She should've gone for the ice cream. It would've been a half way normal thing to do. "Good luck, kid."
